Opinions de Gatti's Pizza Taylor
Always cleaned and places to sit to eat but the pizza selection is always very minimal, usually only 3 types out at one time but quick to get more out.
They had the usual items to eat wasn't much pizza variety but you can ask for pizza to be made while drinks are self serve with refill, movies or tv shows are playing while you eat and kids can play in the mini arcade at the back after eating. The place wasn't to busy when visited.
Took a while for someone to pick up plates
Becoming an adult does not mean you have to stop having fun! I always enjoy my time here. Pizza is always fresh during lunch time
Decided to pop in here as I was picking up material from a yard near Taylor. Parking was a breeze, and going up into the business was easy as it's all through the front of the business. When you enter, you are asked to pay for the buffet & drink combo. It's inexpensive at about $16 for unlimited food. Reduced prices for seniors and children. If I remember right it's free for 2 year olds and under. The buffet has a selection of salad add-ons and mixed greens or spinach. There's spaghetti for a selection of marinara & another sauce. Pizza selection from memory was ham, cheese, pepperoni, pepperoni & pork, supreme, Jalapeño, and maybe more I may be forgetting. There are cheese sticks offered and also a variety of snacks/sweets I didn't try. The food was great overall and it was pretty peaceful even though it's supposed to be an Arcade type of place. Definetly a place to eat solo, or bring a buddy, or the kids.
My family and me love this place! Our children never want to leave when it's time to because they have so much fun. Good atmosphere and in a great location. It's always not too busy or crowded when we come here.
Nice and clean. From the main area to the party rooms to the restroom. The good is good and fresh. They even custom make pizza for you. The staff is friendly. We enjoyed ourselves.
Always yummy; they will make pizzas you request at the buffet. Clean. Love the movie room for families. Arcade is always a blast.
Glad they are fully open. Only recommend that more pizzas be available after morning church services are let out....had to wait a bit on more pizzas. The busboy staff was very kind and courtesy on clean up.
Great service and the new system is very sanitary. Shout out to the employees and the ones that take care of the dishes. Must be alot because of the new system. Well now we dont have to grab the same spatula that someone else that maybe didnt wash after using the bathroom did. Great job team
I've to a couple of Mr. Gatti's in Houston, and they are nothing compared to this one, great atmosphere, great service and over all great establishment. I recommend coming here with your little ones, and enjoy.
Good pizza buffet! Salad bar has a good. Pasta bar had several choices. There are many types of pizza on the buffet. They are quick to get new pizza out so the buffet does not run out.
The pizza was good! The salad bar was awesome. It was fresh and there was a big variety. I enjoyed it! My children had fun in the game room.
This business is a buffet style pizza restaurant with a video game room in the back where kids can play video games and earn credits toward receiving small prizes. Credits are loaded onto a swipeable, credit card style card. In addition to the game room, they have a bumper car area. For only a $3 swipe of the token-card, you can drive a real life bumper car that operates like a zero-turn lawn mower. All indoor. I drove one myself last time I went. It was exciting! My son always has a blast when we come here. If you plan on coming here, make sure you open up your schedule for you and your child(ren) to play the video games in the back and earn credits toward getting free toys. You can also enjoy movies in the front dining room with a large seating selection for everyone to be able to see. The food is hot, fresh and very tasty. The employees here gladly accept any request for pizza flavors if you cannot find yours on the buffet. Five to ten minutes later, the pizza you requested is on the buffet waiting for you to eat it. We usually emerge from here...SEVERAL hours later, FULL and TIRED!
Very clean and great attitude. The game are is great. Full buffet. If they don't have what you want, just ask. The employees are very helpful.
Really good food an they will make whatever kind of pizza you want for the buffet but they will bring you the whole pizza .
My mother just got of the hospital/nursing home from heart surgery after 4 1/2 months yesterday and one of the first things she wanted to do was go eat Gatti's. We live 45 minutes away but we kept our promise. You did not disappoint!🐒🍞❤
Everytime we are visiting family in Elgin, the kiddos ask to run over to Taylor for some Mr. Gatti's. Where else do we get to ride indoor bumper cars. They always have a clean restaurant and buffet. We even had one of my son's birthday parties in one of their private rooms a few years ago. Tuesday is half price games and $10 kept each kiddo busy for an hour in the game room.
I had my son's 9th birthday party there. The staff are wonderful, they made sure everything went smoothly. They went above and beyond. I highly recommend Mr Gatti's in Taylor tx. Everyone had a great time. We will be back!
Mr. Gatti’s Pizza located on Hwy 95 in Taylor has the best freshly baked pizzas on their pizza bar!!! The salad bar has an abundance of fresh salads and delicious desserts!!! Also, the beverage bar has an abundance of ice and sodas and teas and water!!! The game room is an amazing source of entertainment for the entire family and friends to relax and spend some time socializing together!!! Their customer service has always been outstanding from their entire helpful staff!!! My family has enjoyed Mr. Gatti’s Pizza as their favorite pizza restaurant in enjoying their wonderful selection of food and in enjoying their variety of family entertainment and exceptional customer service!!! Jerry Stefek
Mr Gatti's IS the best pizza in town! The service is always friendly and the pizza is delicious.....always fresh and a generous amount of toppings. I love the sampler add jalepenos (no green peppers or onions).
I brought 19 friends and Mr. Gattis in Taylor was awesome at accomodating us! They kept the pizza bar full with plenty of spaghetti and salad options. There was lots of seating in multiple rooms with plenty of TVs. I sat in an "adult" room where different news shows were on while the kids sat in a movie room. Bathrooms were clean. Great experience!
I eat here for lunch often and their salad bar has nice selection. Of course, the pizza is great. If you don't see what you want, just ask and they are happy to make it for you.
I went to the Gatti’s in Taylor last night around 7:30-8:00 pm and there was a worker who was wondering if I was single, I just need help finding out who she is, my instagram is @jovanni32406, Side note, I’ve always loved this Taylor gatti’s thank you for the good food and times with the family.
Ordered take out and the pizza great. Will bring my niece and nephew next time. Pretty cool arcade room for the young and young at heart. The room isn't very large but not too small either.
This place always has a fresh crisp salad bar, hot pizza and a huge variety of drink choices. But the greatest thing that makes it worth the 15 minute drive for us is the wonderful service! Everyone is so nice. The floor staff keeps me everything so clean and are very courteous. The counter staff are very accommodating to even the pickiest eaters!
Loved the food of course and the location is next door to The Taylor Branch of The Fellowship Church and right down the road from our residence and it’s always good whether it’s just us or entire family This time I loved coming from Church with husband and daughter to enjoy buffet —and my daughter paid!! I just wish I could take some with me since I had my stomach removed (cancer)and can’t eat too much at a time That will not keep us from coming Bach though !
Always good to eat there great and fast service
I love mr gattis and have been away from one for a long time. The resteraunt is smaller but has everything you need for a fun time on a budget and good food. Blonde Cashier up front was funny and nice and welcoming. Will return
We really enjoy eating at Gatti-town. The salad bar is always fresh and clean with lots of variety. The pizza, breadsticks and pasta is also very good.
Took my family in to check it out and was such an awesome experience! Pizza/Salad Buffet, Watch a movie with our kids while eating and then take the kids into the game room! What more could you ask for!? Great selection of pizza and salad bar and desserts! Good quality food! Outstanding idea for taking the family out! Highly recommend!
Ok. Be a the cashier needs a raise...she is an excellent first person to meet. Salads were average. Pizza was average. Table clean up person was eager to take your used plates.
Not sure why they started shredding the lettuce so thin, the salad is one of my favorites there but this time I couldn't even get a mouthful because I couldn't get a hold of it with a fork. Other than that as always I love Gatti's
Fresh salad bar. Not my favorite pizza, but that's my opinion. Take home pizza is better than the buffet. This location always seems to be clean. Friendly staff.
Buffet was ok watch for when they put out fresh pizza. Lots of kids running around making a nusence of themselve.
Fresh salad bar and great tea. Pizza is above average, they did a great job of asking what I preferred. Game room designed for children under 12 or so. Have tweens and teens bring their phones for entertainment. Clean place overall
We went after church. Didn't hardly have any pizza out. The salad was mostly brown. Overall okay.
Pretty good selection and quantity of pizzas on buffet, even during busy times. Clean, and friendly efficient staff. Decent selection of games. My lil group loves it.
Excellent salad bar and the buffet is always full of pizza. The staff is always friendly and the manager really goes above and beyond to make customers happy. They also take requests for the buffet pizza selection. Amazing service 👍 One star off because the soda machine haven't had the flavored syrups in a long time.
1st time going to this one. You have to pay for a buffet whether you planned on eating or not. I get why they do that because it's an open buffet, I think they could change that rule and put bands on those who paid for the buffet rather then making people who didn't come to eat pay for something their not going to use. Game room is a little small. Glad we left when we did because it looked like a baseball game had ended and the teams were coming there to celebrate. It's fine as long there is no more then 20 people in the game room at a time. Had a good selection of pizza to chose from. But the face guard they have over the salad bar makes it EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to reach past the 2nd row for toppings. You seriously have to squat down and try to stretch your arm out as far as you possibly can while having your face planted on the glass. Yuk. They kept the dinning area very clean and the employees that were taking our used plates were very nice and polite. They get 5 stars. All in all it's a good place to go and hang out with your family or to just go for the buffer. We will def go back.
Love the freshness of the salad bar, very kid friendly and super nice staff
Very solid pizza and above average crust. If you like tomato sauce I recommend asking for extra. Good balance of cheese, meats and veggies. Drive through makes it easy to pick up order. No delivery, which makes zero sense. They would probably double biz, if delivered.
Always been a Gattis fan... Ever since my high school years when I would go eat lunch across the street to my local Gattis! When my local place closer a few years ago, I thought it was gone for good. Thankfully, I was wrong. Good place to get some hot and delicious pizza, fresh and crisp salad, got pasta, and plenty of dessert choices (LOVED the cinnamon bread!) Lots of clean tables and the bathrooms were pretty decent as well. The only bad thing I could say was that the pizza did not make itself quick enough! Obviously a popular place so when dinner rush started, everyone had to wait a bit for the pizza too come out. No problem for me, it was worth it.
This was off our trip route just a little was, but this place was good. It was good to see that there are still some Ms gatti's up and running, sadly the one in our town shut down, so this was something nostalgic for us. Everything was good, from the salad to the pasta and the pizza to the desserts it was fun all the way around!
Food was decent, way better than it was at the previous location. Really only had two issues, the combination of curved pans and pizza not cut all the way made it difficult to get a slice as the pan would spin. The other issue was the games, $1.00+ a play seemd a bit steep.
We don’t go to Gattis in Taylor as often as we used to since they no longer do half price games on Tuesdays but we recently went to support a fundraiser and I wanted to recognize employee Veronica for her outstanding service. About a year ago one of our game cards suddenly wouldn’t work (when swiped it said it was an invalid car). I knew we have money and tickets remaining on that card but no one would help me recover them. I held on to the card and whenever we visited Gattis I would periodically ask if anyone knew how to recover the information on the card. Every time I was told there was nothing that could be done which I felt was unacceptable. I had a balance on the card and decent amount of tickets. At this most recent visit, however, I was fortunate enough to encounter Veronica behind the prize counter and explained the situation and she was more than willing to help. It took her a while to figure it out and I had to assist with a few things like taking a picture of the card number that flashed on the screen on my side but she ultimately was able to access the card balance (which was $28.48 and 3108 tickets) and transfer it to a new card. She didn’t give up and she was so kind and understanding and she made me and my son extremely happy. I’ve seen her there before and I wish I would have approached her sooner because she was the only one who even tried to find a way to help me. The others all blew me off. Thank you again Veronica!
This is a great place for kids. The arcade was a little shoddy in places. There were only two bumper cars working. It is by no means a bad place though. It just needs some work.
They wouldn't make a pizza without sauce. Kinda rude and didn't explain why. Couldn't keep the buffet stocked. Didn't have anything with Alfredo sauce. I asked what the yellow sprinkled stuff was on sine if the desserts. She thought it was coconut. I never got a real answer.
The food was very average and half the arcade machines were broken, but they were very nice and gave us new cups after our old ones were thrown away while we were in the arcade, also there is a pretty big theater screen but they just played monsters Inc twice in a row while we were there
My son asked for a macaroni & cheese pizza. It's his and his sister's favorite pizza there. He was told it would be ready in about 7 minutes. We waited for quite a while and it never came out. Other than that 1 time we have never had any issues.
It's OK but they don't keep a variety of pizza on the buffet. They had pepperoni or pepperoni. I had one made and it was gone super quick because it was like the only other option. The dessert pizza was all cold and gross too.
The place is fine, the salad bar but I think you need to improve on the pizza, we live in Thorndale and some times we prefer drive to Round Rock to Gattiland or Cici's when our daughter wants games too.
The types of pizza toppings and the ability to keep up with demand seemed to be a challenge for the buffet. Bussing the tables for the extra plates did not occur while I was there so they just kinda piled up at the edge of the table. Almost had to go get someone to clear a table so my family could set & eat. The food was good, if there was any left after you made your way through the crowd of hungry people.
Took my grandson, who is 5. Husband has never been to this location before. The pizza was good. The tall gentlemen with the glasses who kept cleaning off our table was GREAT!! He was on it. I didn't see any tables with piles of dirty dishes on them. He was also very polite. Someonengive that man a raise. Now, back to the buffet. The pizza was good, and the salad bar has a lot to offer. The only issue is the set up of the salad bar. My God, you literally have to squat down and go under the plastic divider in order to get anything from the 3rd row. I think correcting the layout would be more beneficial and still be able to keep people from sneezing or coughing onto the food in the salad bar. But as they have it now, it's honestly a lot less sanitary since people have to go so far underneath the plastic protection divider. Now for the game room... it's small, but that's ok. They have several games for the kiddos and a few for the adults. The problem was that several games were out of service or broken. A game room should not have that many machines down at one time. I like the setup they have for the prizes. There are lots of prizes and it doesn't take tons of tickets to get prizes. I like how they have a screen showing you how many tickets you start with and it list every prize the child picks out and your remaining balance. It's a great prize for all you can eat. My husband and I are trying to find the movie they were showing in the room while we were eating so we can watch the rest of it. 🙃 it's worth a visit. But hopefully they will have more games up and working. We'll go back.
They need more variety of food and the utensils at reach of the customer we shouldn’t have to put our heads inside of the salad bar to get items
This is a very nice, clean place. The pizza is as good as any Gatti's pizza. The salad bar is just fine with lots of good choices. I just wish the pizza itself was a bit better, thicker crust or I don't don't even know what to suggest. But it's a good safe clean place for the family.
The last time I ordered online and when I got there they couldn't find the order. The window cashier girl never asked me what name it was under she just went looking for a pizza...odd. Then the manager came over, he had found it for us. But when we got home the pizza was the smallest pizza I ever saw, we had ordered a large.... it's seriously look like a small I mean there was only like 6 slices if not and they were super tiny. I think they have messed up all the way around but we were too tired to go back and complain or ask for our correct order. But next time I will but all I can say is the pizza was good, it just was super small. The first girl definitely needs some customer service training but the manager was spot-on
Me and my Family love Gatti’s pizza , it so nice having a place like this in Taylor to take the kids on rainy daysand the food and salad bar is Amazing THE ISSUE IS The past TWO times I have been here. The bathrooms have been absolutely disgusting. There’s toilet paper on the floor paper towels on the floor it is just so gross and it stunk!! I walked in with my daughter waited to use the bathroom, but when I saw the stall, I walked right out. Unsurprisingly, my husband was standing there with my son waiting for us because he had the exact same experience in the mens restroom. Gattis you have to do better keeping those restrooms clean because it is completely unacceptable.
This location is amazing. Food was delicious! Just wish they had more options for the salad bar, carrots didnt look too pleasing. And we waited a long time at the arcade area to get our prizes, nobody was available at the counter. And half of the games were 'out of order.'
We paid for the buffet to get in but had already eaten. I asked the girl if I could get an empty card and she says no I have to pay for that separately. This was after I had paid. We loaded the card from a previous visit I had. 40 bucks. So I'm 65 bucks in at this point for me and my son. We played games but over half a dozen of then were out of service. These games cost $1+ to play and a lot of them didn't even have the prizes. It smelled like dirty feet in the whole arcade area. When we went to play the water game shooting the trolls my son started gagging bc the water smelled so bad. We ended up with 399 tickets I told my son he had about 400 to spend the guy corrected me and says well 399 like one ticket is going to break the bank. Our family has been coming here for years and I feel like the small family business feel has gone out the window. It makes me sad. I really feel like the owners need to come take a look at what's going on up there.
Bad value, this place is fairly new but half the games had some sort of issue or bug. When you pay $1+ for a game its very irritating. Pizza wasn't good, i don't expect much from buffets to begin with, but after going to the round rock gattiland several times I have a general idea if what it's supposed to taste like. Not the same quality. Customer service was also below par, complained more than once about games but fell on deaf young ears. You can still make request for a pizza you want on the buffet with a slightly better quality i think, reason I gave 2 stars. Otherwise a disappointing 1st experience at the newish Taylor location.
Got here all pizza on buffet should have been toss hours ago. Pasta and mac and cheese was dried up and gross. When ask for fresh pizza kinda was given an attitude. Wow. Salad was good!!
Food was good but the game room is horrible. At least, if not more than 50 percent of the games don't work. We use to bring the kids here a lot but until they can fix everything it sadly isn't worth the money anymore
I usually have a good experience but this time had a very rude cashier. I noticed I was charged for drinks so I went to the cashier to get a refund. I heard the cashier mumble oooh that was rude. I was like wow but didn't say anything due to this being a kid establishment I didn't want to cause a scene but from now on i'll just go to the Round Rock location.
Nice staff and Polite. However on the time that we went to eat the salad was not fresh, there was some kind of bug in the peaches tray and there was not pizza. They only had 1 pizza and cinamon sticks almost gone. In my experience it was not good because I feel that if I pay to eat at a buffet it should have a selection of food. Why call it a buffet if is not going to be food.
I've been here before and it was great... people were friendly, food was fresh and great. This time it was different. Pizzas did not seem to be fresh and even the new pizzas brought out were burnt on the bottom. They were so thin that the bottoms were burnt. Cashier and others were not very friendly. Just overall completely different experience.
Customer service is lacking. No eye contact, no greetings. Every employee has an AirPod in their ear and I had to repeat myself multiple times. Then, we had to wait for someone to return from break to get help with the tickets in the game room. Not a big deal for an adult, but two impatient kids...
Mr. Gattis has been a fun place for families to dine in for so many years. It has been over 6 months since my family has last dined in at the Taylor location. Food- The buffet was very limited and this was at lunchtime. However, they seemed to be working on it. I didn't mention anything to the staff. They were doing their best. Environment- At the buffet, I over heard the male manager being very inappropriate with a young female worker. He was talking rudely to her regarding her making sure she stirs the pasta every so often. He was also very short with a few other workers. Fast forward, in the game room, I had an unpleasant encounter with a rude young female worker (the same one that the manager was being rude to). A game took our points and didn't function properly and I talked to her about it and I wanted to be refunded my points back on the game card. She gave me unnecessary attitude and told me that she couldn't do anything about it and said that the games are 'rigged anyways'. Also said she just works here and she can't control the machines. Let me clarify, I was not rude. I was looking for a resolution to the problem as the machine was not working. She said the manager would speak to me but he didn't. He was hiding in the kitchen and looked right at me. I feel so bad for the assistant manager. I waited at the counter and requested to speak to her. She was very nice and told me that the manager couldn't do anything about it. She was almost in tears and said she was new and they were short staffed but I could sense that this is not a healthy work environment at all. I hope the owner sees this and speaks to the manager ASAP. I will not come back to this location. The games are malfunctioning and customers are being told that "thats just the game". No, it's not. I also witnessed a young boy lose his money too on the same machine and was told the same as me. The manager made me feel very uncomfortable in the way he was speaking to the young worker and the way he stared at me from a distance. He needs some major counseling ASAP. I was told they were short staffed but this is no way to treat paying customers, especially young kids who just want to go play and have fun. I'm sure their parents wouldn't appreciate them getting ripped off.
The food and eating area are great, normal level for a pizza buffet, no issues there. The game room is the problem with this location. I have 2 kids who we got play cards for, and it felt like every other machine was broken, but no like sign on the game, or unplugged. No they were normal looking, swipe the card, takes the money, and then nothing happens. I told the employee working the ticket counter who was very nice, gave the money back to the card, but she told me there's nothing they can do, and that she would let her manager know. No ability to put a sign on the machine warning other people. It happened several more times I'm sure I was a bother going back saying another machine took the money and didn't work. The low rating is purely reflective of this, you can get pizza cheaper anywhere else, you go to a location like this for the kids to eat 2 bites of their plate, watch some big hero 6 and then go all out in the game room. A half functional game room is a bummer. Would love to go back, just want the games to work or at least a note saying this and that machine don't work etc.
Last done in was mediocre, buffet pizzas were burnt and cold not being rotated had to wait more than 15 minutes for new ones to come out and then the same one was being made Another time...I called to do a take out order the employee answered the phone with just a "hello" no mr gattis greeting, I had to repeat my order 3 times to the employee. October 2, 2021 I called at 7PM to do an order no one ever answered the phone
I like the store but all of the pizza was dried out and like chewing leather. I don't know if they leave the pizza in too long or if the oven is set higher than it should be. When I eat pizza, I want to enjoy the toppings as well as the crust and not something so hard and dry that I can't taste either.
I was very, very, very disappointed. Worst Gatti's Ever. I brought a group of kids here, bought 5 buffets and asked if I could get 1 small pizza made for 2 of the girls that are vegan. They said I could purchase their pizza in addition to their buffets. Really? So, I can request anything under the sun, but because these girls don't want cheese I have to pay extra?! I explained that the last time I was here they accommodated the girls. Manager Seth's response, "Yeah, we got in trouble for that." Seriously, Seth? You other in trouble for making your customers happy? Really?
Don't ever order a pizza for pick up in the drive thru. Will not get it right. 1st time forgot to give us the salad and ranch dressing. Banged on the window for 3 minutes and they finally answered. Gave us the salad and dressing. Drove home in Thrall Texas to find out that the pizza was wrong as well. Drove all the way back to Taylor to complain. They really didn't care and offered to make another one or store credit. No discount or coupon for their mistakes and really no sincere apology from them. All in all drove 40 miles (2 trips) for a disappointing experience. Only reason that I gave them one star is because it wouldn't let me give them zero stars.
They really need to start checking the salad bar for bad items
Monday 3/13/23 . Worst pizza ever at this location. Salad bar was terrible. Tables 15 or more dirty, not yet clean. Didn't see normal managers there. Very dosappointed.. NEVER like this!
Husband and I attempted to stop to eat here after picking kids up from my mom who had already eaten with them. The kids had no intention of eating as they had JUST eaten in Bastrop. They were unwilling to waiver from the "everyone who enters must buy a buffet" policy. We've eaten at many Gatti's pizzas in numerous towns and have never heard of such a thing. The employee working the register attempted to ask the manager who refused to accommodate us. The manager did not even walk out of the office to speak to us. Very poor customer service when policies trump people.
Ok my 5 yr daughter had a blast so I'll give it 2 stars or else I would have gave one, but even then I still don't think it deserves that. So there was food all over the floor, and the boy bussing the area was just stepping in it cleaning 1 out of 4 dirty tables, then would continue to watch Aladdin. The food was old and cold and when I asked the general manager if he had any new pizza he responded with an attitude and said "This is new pizza it just looks like that, but yeah I'll get some out." Then brought out fresh hot calzones and 1 other pizza. The difference was day and night you can totally tell the difference between the old dry cold pizza and the fresh hot new pizza. The lady working the games was very helpful and assisted us with some of the games we weren't sure how to operate. Also the cashier at the front was a nice woman as well. We were there today Wednesday around 2-3pm.
Went last Saturday!! Got Food Poisoning!!! The salad bar was old!! Won’t go back!! Place is filthy!!! Very Disappointed!!!!
Update-6.17.2024- I did see a response to my "Review" about the Gatti's in Taylor, Tx. UNFORTUNATELY, the management did not appear to take my observation seriously enough to be interested in addressing the issues, and asked me to refer my review to a marketing email address. Seriously? Is how you intend to address the issues with your restaurant? A friend and I ate at your restaurant about a week or so ago, and this was my impression: 1) First of all, the handicap parking spaces need to be relocated to directly in front of the restaurant, they are TOO far away from the front doors. 2) Change the sidewalk, near the hopefully relocated handicap parking, to a walkup ramp instead of the regular curbing, it is difficult to step up and down on a regular curb, when you are handicapped. 3) Put in new landscaping, it looks terrible. 4) Clean the front windows and glass doors, they're so dirty, they look cloudy. 5) Take better care of the salad bar. It looked nasty! The different foods were dropped in different containers. 6) Put out fresh pizza more often. For example, the supreme pizza was dried out. That was obvious when they ACTUALLY put out fresh pizza when were almost ready to leave. 7) The soda bar was disgustingly filthy. There was soda and straws everywhere, and very obvious that the drain area for the soda had NOT been cleaned out in a long time. 8) Train your employees to be friendlier to customers.
I dont like giving negative reviews but this last time i was at this gattis was the worst ever. Mainly because no one was in the game room and the games were not paying out tickets earned. my son won two jackpots and neither went on his card. i have had multiple good experiences at this location but this last time was absolutely horrible in many ways. things have really changed at this location and its sad cause this was my go to for my kiddos
Games are broken 75% of games that give my kids tickets are out of order. What few tickets they did get nobody was around to help them redeem them so I did it myself. Lucky for this location I am honest and was setting a good example for my kids. Wasn't a great way to celebrate my kids last day of school. The bot response with the marketing email address doesn't work. With the growth in this area good luck staying afloat. Bye bye Gattis
I watch and overheard the manager kicking stuff around and yelling at staff I wouldn’t be going back anytime soon
Arrived @ 6:30pm on a Tuesdayevening. Zero pizza available, salad bar taken down by 7pm. When pizza was put out. There was already a long line of customers waiting get a slice of maybe the four pizzas that was put out. One soda machine completely out of service, one dinning room closed off already upon arrival. Only one employee clearing plates and cleaning tables. Better off spending the extra money and go to a different place to eat. I see also in others comments that marketing standard BS concerns yet problems still remain. I dont want to be contacted by marketing to have smoke blown up ones bum. So please spare me the fake concerns and maybe spend more time fixing the problems you know exists.
We attended a birthday party here this past Saturday and experienced the worst customer service imaginable for a child’s birthday party. Not only were they unaccommodating by trying to cram 48 people into The smallest available room Despite the other rooms being open and available. At one point, someone opened up a door between the party room and the regular room so that the overflow of people could still enjoy the birthday party. The alleged new manager came and slammed the door shut just as a pregnant woman was about to walk through. It was a big heavy wood wooden door, so it’s very fortunate that no one’s hands or fingers were in the way. This particular family has had birthday parties here every year for at least the last four years and have never experienced this type of behavior from management. When the mom said This was the last party they would be having there. The manager replied “you’re welcome to leave now.” There is just absolutely no need for this type of behavior Especially from a loyal paying customer who simply wanted what she had paid for. Several of us were talking about booking parties there for our children, but that will not be happening and I highly recommend you look elsewhere if you are wanting to do a birthday party here. I want to add that I pride myself in leaving a lot of really good reviews for businesses so this is very out of character for me to be leaving a bad one, but it is so very warranted.
Today I was kicked out of my great nieces birthday party because I didn't buy a buffet. My family decided to have my great nieces B-day party at Gattis in Taylor and I drove from Temple to celebrate with my family. The party was at 1pm and me not being a big fan of pizza, I had lunch before I went. Within 5 minute's of being there and joining my family's reserved table, I was asked to leave because I didn't purchase food. The excuse for asking me to leave was that places at the tables were for paying customers. While I understand that mentality i was sitting at a decorated, reserved table with my family in a half empty room that any incoming customer would not join the private party and would not need my seat. The GM would not budge and wanted to get paid for the seat. After the amount of money the family that did pay, needless to say, we will not be going back there again. Having worked in the service industry in all levels i feel the proper solution would have been to let me have my seat and if I consume food, (which i was not going to) then I would have went up and paid before I would have even attempted to eat. As a business owner, I understand the situation, it just could have been handled differently.
Come on ya'll! Saturday 2/28/26 & ya'll have no fresh pizza out, lack variety, then a young lady at the cash register comes to unclog ice machine with her BARE HAND. I was like "you probably want to use a glove or something else" and she didn't hear me. What a nasty thing to do but what was i gonna do?? Make a scene? I didn't but I sure did want to complain. Unfortunately, we were in a rush and passing through the area. I cannot believe the lack of fresh items there was at this location. Salad bar was lacking and employees appear to want to hurry up and get you out of there sooner than later. I do not recommend this location! I prefer the location in Killeen (currently relocating the location), Round Rock or South Austin south park meadows.
This place has gone down phill. The pizza tasted like cardboard. They switched from disposable cups to reusable cups. The salad bar was dirty, the condiments for pizza is in a container. My family will never go back!!
Buffet table empty during lunch rush. Dishes not cleaned for use. Management very confrontational and rude. When I asked for a refund and information to contact the owner I was threatened with violence and told I would be trespassed.
Hate to make this 1 star review but not a good expirience The buffet was extremely lacking and looked very poor quality and out of stock saturday march 7th 2026 after 7pm for 2 buffets for price of $29 To make matters worse, there was a black bug insect crawling on the out of service soda machine lol I should have took a photo of it and posted it here, I would avoid this place like the plague if you value your health, you should go to the one in round rock or cicis pizza for pizza buffet not here.
The manager made the worst pizza I've ever had from here! If the current manager makes your pizza be prepared for it to be drowning in pizza sauce and skimpy on toppings even if you pay extra. I paid for extra cheese hamburger green and black olives. They were skimpy with the olives! They also forgot my jalapeños! They apparently fired the employee who made the best pizza! Don't bother calling the manager is worthless when it comes to resolving your problems and has terrible costumer service! Very disappointing and a complete waste of money.
Whoever is the team lead there right now needs more training on Customer service etiquette. Poor service will NEVER recommend this location.
There was no pizza out for the buffet, we had to ask for more food , sad service
I never had the chance to get my food as the young lady at the drive thru told me they don't accept $50 bills. How ridiculous is this! Never going back. What an insult.
Yesterday I was. There 08/18/2025 My children and my wife went to eat from Austin, TX and the cashier did not accept a 50 dollar bill. The total to pay was 40 dollars. She said that the store does not accept 50 dollar bills. I asked to speak to the manager and she said that it is not a horrible service. I do not recommend it. They need to change managers because it is in the wrong place. A business has to have change for a 50 dollar bill only. I had to return 10 dollars, a business is for customers, that's why they are losing many customers.
Waited over an hour for a pizza. When I asked about my order, the counter girl went to the back and brought out a pizza. I looked at it and it was cold, dry, and very unappetizing looking. She said it was in warming oven and it was good. I asked if she would accept a pizza like that and she said “no” and immediately took it back and had them make me another. All the while I’m watching whom I assume is the manager, loading up the buffet with fresh pizza. Finally, within 10 minutes, she brings me out a pizza. No “thank you”. No “sorry here’s a coupon” , no nothing. The manager didn’t even acknowledge me. Too scared I guess. Last time I come here. Would recommend anyone to stay away. Better service at a food truck. Better food too I’m sure.
Wish you had more pepperoni pizza out in the buffet. It's always out and we have to wait 15 min for them to make a new one. I would think that would be your best selling pizza? Games are always broken with no warning or a sign to warn you before you swipe your card. I bring my grandkids every week, just wish these experiences would improve.
