The Habit Char cheeseburger and fries taste like In and Out, but better overall. The cost for a combo is $9. The burger is accentuated by the charbroiled, caramelized onions, mayo, shredded lettuce and tomato flavor. The fries are thick and crispy. Don't make my first timers mistake by unwrapping the paper around the burger. It's there to keep all the yummy flavors together.
Freshly made to order, fries are excellent & great shakes. Habit is my favorite burger restaurant! Pro tip: add the app for promotional offers and the family meal bundles are huge money savers. Also, they have SALADS & you can customize them, add grilled chicken, etc. Definitely the best burgers in town.

Anytime I pass through the Sacramento area. I always try to stop here at this location. I literally drive past two or three other locations just to stop here. The service is great. The food is amazing. I don’t have enough nice things to say about it.
As a local teacher, I come here often after class at the end of the week. I love this location. The managers and staff are excellent and are on-top of things. They’re caring, efficient, and it’s noticeable from other Habit Grills and restaurants as a whole. I hope this location wins an award for outstanding customer service and even just being great people. Thank you!

Good, hot food. A little weird ordering at a kiosk vs face to face, but pretty easy once I figured it out. Minimal interactions with staff. Clean, good burgers, hot fries. Would recommend over In & Out.
I went through the drive-thru and they made a simple mistake. unfortunately I had to come back so they can correct it and with great pride and honor they replaced my order! When people make mistakes they fix it this is the America remember this is the America I love I recommend Habit Burger one of the few places that has customer service in mind

I’m a big fan of the habit Burger. The one on Sierra College is one of our favorite because it opens up at 10 o’clock in the morning. The food is always fresh and delicious. Great service great atmosphere. If you looking for a good hamburger,try the habit on Sarah College. You won’t be disappointed.

Lovely salads, terrific burgers, best sides and extras. If you haven't been don't go! It will be a habit! OMG! We are so excited to have the habit! We love this place. Yum yum yum yum yum! Can't wait to try more from the menu! Veggie burgers, turkey burgers, teriyaki burgers, onion rings, fries, tempura green beans, soft serve ice cream.
I love all things Habit, but this one knocks it out of the park. The staff, no matter how busy, are always nice and welcoming. Way to go! The food is excellent. Hamburgers and salads are nicely assembled. The French fries and onion rings are always crispy. My families food on this night was on point. The only small oops was a request for extra ranch dressing was made because of the size of our order, and only two total were provided. Since it was a family meal we can share, but if this was with friends I would be fighting them for ranch. All and all a wonderful experience and I thank the staff for such wonderful service each time.

I have their app installed on my phone, which I use to place orders while I'm at work so that I can pick up my sandwich from the location that is most convenient for me. On this particular occasion, I placed an order for a chicken club sandwich and some fries at the location in question. I specified that the order was to go. After driving for 13 minutes to the store, I arrived to find that my food was ready. However, it was not packaged appropriately for takeout. The container was not placed in a bag but rather left on the counter on a tray, as if it were meant to be consumed on the premises. I double-checked my receipt to ensure that I had not made a mistake and had indeed specified that the order was to go. Unfortunately, it appeared that an error had been made and my food had been prepared for dine-in instead. As a result, it had likely been sitting out for an extended period of time, which resulted in both the sandwich and the fries being cold and unappetizing. Despite my disappointment, I decided to eat the meal as I was quite hungry and did not have the opportunity to return to the store. I hope that this issue can be addressed in the future to ensure that takeout orders are handled correctly and that customers receive their food in a timely and satisfactory manner.

I enjoy coming to The Habit every now and then. The food takes a bit of time to be prepared, but I understand that more quality food needs to be taken care of properly. The staff are friendly and accommodate to the customer's needs.

The food is amazing. Not too pricy either. I like it more than In n Out, however the wait time is horrible. I came here yesterday and waited forever for someone to take my order, but everyone was really apologetic and kind about it, and they told us upfront it would be a 15-20 min wait for food. Then came again today (because it was THAT GOOD) and we almost left because the wait was so excessive. They had like 3 people and it was not enough. If I want to wait 20 mins for a burger I come here but if I want something fast- I’d stick it in n Out!!
Clean place ..sweet potato fries were room temperature some cold....kinda pricy just for my son and I to eat Lil under 40 bucks for kids meal and mine...small burgers even the adult one ...had never been so we wanted to try...probably won't be back anytime soon.
Ordered through the app to pick up in store, when I arrived they were busy. Grabbed my ordered but had to wait to ask for cups and was giving small/child sizes when I paid for mediums but couldn’t get anyone’s attentions to get the right size. I ordered a teriyaki sandwich with no pickles or tomato’s and received a regular charburger with pickles, and my son who wanted the little “krabby patty” with his kids meal wasn’t in there. Sweet potato fries and regular were cold and soggy.
For $40 I was hoping for better. My husband and I got the peppermint milk shake and the patty melt. We tried this at another location last week and it was delicious. Today unfortunately the milkshake was not even halfway in the cup, whipped cream didn't fill the top. I won't deny they had a good amount of people in the line. However, to charge that much and not even fill the cup is outrageous. The person who took my order was also not very friendly. Sad because habit is one of the few places that has the peppermint shake. The other disappointment was our patty melt. It was so greasy and our fries were cold. I'm not sure if we'll come back. Long story short, excessively long wait times, mold on the buns. More details below for those interested. We've been to this location probably 6 times since they opened 2 or so months ago. We expected the initial growing pains of slow service as the staff gets their sea legs, however going on two months, nothing in that regard has changed. In fact, we still wait for 15+ minutes in the drive thru. Sometimes we wait 5 or so minutes just for the window to open. Now, that's not the reason for the 2 star review. My initial review was a 1 star. I want to give them more because the food is usually pretty good. A bit pricey, but clearly higher quality than your average fast food establishment. Today, however, we were given a chicken sandwich with MOLD on the bun, as seen in the picture. And not only was there mold, it was so blatantly obvious, being right on top of the bun, we could see it without taking the plastic lid off. Now, to give them credit, the employee we talked to was very apologetic, refunded us, and gave us a free drink. The lady behind the counter who, I'm assuming, made the sandwich, seemed a bit irritated that we didn't want to consume mold. Nevertheless, It was nice that they tried to make it right for us for a VERY disgusting experience.
The dining room was absolutely disgusting, high chairs for babies/toddlers were disgustingly filthy, and I couldn’t even separate them for my grandsons to sit in. I asked for help and nobody came to help.paper towels out in the women’s restroom. Ketchup was out and instead of replacing offered packets of ketchup. I’m sure they have the ketchup in the back to replace in the dispenser. This location needs new management and stat!
The quality of the food that I went and got yesterday August 31st was disgusting. Customer service was horrible. My bread was soggy as well as my girlfriend's place anymore
Made a quick visit here using the drive-thru. The chain has really gotten much more expensive than I remember from a few years ago - 2 Santa Barbara Char combos for ~$40! The food is good but not that good! Customer service was also lacking, the employees really looked and acted like they did not want to be there. Can't blame them I suppose when a meal costs more than 1 hour of work. All in all, you might want to take your chances somewhere else if you're looking for an affordable quick meal.

Stopped in for lunch yesterday, and I’m not sure what happened, but the food was rough. The burgers are usually pretty decent and a good size, but this time the onions on mine were bigger than the actual meat. My husband ordered a double, and even that barely looked like enough for one small patty. The fries were limp and greasy, and the onion rings weren’t even cooked through — the onions inside were still hard. For what we paid, it definitely wasn’t worth it. This used to be one of our regular lunch spots, but after yesterday, nope — we won’t be back. .
The worst drive-thru experience I have ever had it. I had to go back three times due to them forgetting my food and not understanding the order correctly then the manager on site and the general manager we're very dismissive and rude about their mistake. The food is so good. But that was terrible customer service. Especially from a general manager.
I went through the drive-through and they got my entire order wrong. That was even after I had the person that took my order repeated to ensure that they got my order right. Next day I brought back the items that I did not order and demanded to get reimbursed. I spoke with the manager and she was supposed to reimburse my credit card as of today she has not. I will never go back to this restaurant chain again.
We were traveling down Hwy 80 on our way to our home in the foothills after a long day. We decided to stop and grab some food at Habit Burger in Rocklin. We ordered two burgers, one fry and two drinks for $25. We got back on the freeway and continued our trip. I hadn't eaten in a while, so I was excited to get a burger. But when my wife opened the bag there was only one burger. At the time, I was super disappointed. So when we got home, I emailed Habit through their website with my dissatisfaction. The next day, Megan from customer service replied and said they would make good on their mistake. I filled out the little form she sent. But since then crickets..I hate to write negative reviews because we're only human, and everyone makes mistakes. But after this, I will probably never return to Habit Grill. Their incompetence and lack of concern for their customers is vividly apparent. My conclusion is that the food (when you get it) is mid, the prices are high, and the service is poor. It's not that they can't. It's just that they don't care.
Closes at 9:30 on a Saturday night, refused to take order at 9:31 and left me trapped in the drive thru behind the person whos order they took 15 seconds earlier.

First, was told they didn't have a cashier until after I ordered. Second lobby had trash on ground and all tables and seats had food particles on them. Third bathrooms were pretty much the same along with no paper towels. And finally the food had no flavor my hamburger tasted like two pieces of bread with two hamburger patties in between. To top it all off I probably got food poisoning since I ate their food and have to use the bathroom three times since I ate there.

I order the club sandwich, bread hard as a rock and grease, taste like they clean the grill with the bread, have a bad taste and I decide to removed the bread, just to find brown avocado and the chicken breast grease and burn with burn stuff all over, order sweet potatoes fries, and they probable re-fried like 3 times, dry and with so much grease. And would not even waste more time and the rest of the food. To bad, used to be my fast food to go. If you don’t fixed will be the next one closing.
This restaurant used to be one of my favorites, but unfortunately the experience has changed since the staff transition. After three disappointing visits, I’ve decided not to return. On my most recent visit, the restaurant was empty yet noticeably unclean. Ordering has become difficult due to the language barrier, and while I respect that challenge, it has led to repeated mistakes. For example, the kiosk charged me for two meals I didn’t intend to order, and after waiting twenty minutes, I was given two incorrect items. Although staff acknowledged the mistake, they explained that kiosk orders cannot be refunded and simply walked away, leaving me with food I couldn’t eat. To summarize: the restaurant is not being maintained, the staff appear untrained even after several months, and service is consistently slow with incorrect orders regardless of how they’re placed. Habit still makes a great burger, but the lack of cleanliness, communication, and customer service makes it too frustrating to continue dining here.
Service was slow, the food was lackluster, and they forgot some of the older. I had to drive back to get the order correct.
Have gone 3x and every single time they have screwed up the basic order. No special order or requests. Unreal. Make sure to check your food before heading out of the drive through

I get the employee doing her best to take orders inside and the drive Tru and make the food all by herself but this is not what I expect from a Habit. Irma was very pleasant. Sadly I refuse to give my money to a business who takes advantage of employees.

The peppers that are out were mixed together in a pile, they were out of napkins, they were out of ketchup, pretty much everything they offer was out of sorts. I got our order and they forgot the drinks. I waited for them for a few minutes to come to the counter. While I waited all I could hear around me was people also complaining about one thing or another. Finally just had to reach over the counter and grab a cup. Then I realized they forgot the kids milk and ranch. I had to go back up to the counter and wait again for someone. I finally got all the food to the table, something that should have been easy but was made difficult by this “new way” of doing business.
