Dropped by this spot on a whim and the vibes were just right. Ordered the bison burger, which came out stacked and didn't disappoint on flavor. They've got this Super Loaded Fries thing going on, and man, it's a feast on its own, definitely worth a try. Woody was our server, real chill guy, made the experience all the better. Drinks had that kick you look for, without knocking you out, so you can enjoy a couple.

I was only a takeout customer at first for some time and now after being at the bar today being served by James S., I can say me and my girlfriend will definitely be back to Bareburger in Rockville Centre. We are both bartenders but even in our time we have yet to experience such exceptional professional/personable service and I feel this should be not only be recognized but also rewarded. Woody & Miluska were absolutely phenomenal In terms of their service and attentiveness! The food was phenomenal for both my husband and I, and I personally have a gluten allergy. It’s rare to find gluten-free popcorn, chicken, and oh my goodness it was absolutely delicious moist and soooooo good! The burgers are awesome! We chose five different sauces for our burger, fries and popcorn, chicken, and every single one hit the spot I am so glad we stopped here and I’ll be putting this on our “must come back “

Came here for lunch with my best friend and it was the perfect dine-in experience. Everything from the food, to the service and the low-key atmosphere at the time was just what we needed to have a great segue into the rest of our days. James was an extremely attentive and personable staff member. He paid attention to my dietary needs, had thoughtful recommendations and was such an engaging person. He contributed to making this a lovely experience for us, and we would definitely go back.

I come here for lunch sometimes. Lunch special is good. Burgers are always good. And staff is always friendly. Also free WiFi which keeps me entertained as I eat lunch alone usually. Great! Will return!

If I could give the service here more than 5 stars I would. The food here has always been good, always been fresh, and if a mistake is made (which has only happened once) it is corrected immediately with kindness and I did not pay extra. The staff know us by now, and my partner's family has been coming here longer than I have and the staff are so friendly. We have a server who we love - Woody - and he is so nice and fun to talk to. He really cares about the people coming in. The menu also offers gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, and nut free and sesame free options for allergies. I’ve been coming here for some time now and I can honestly say this restaurant never disappoints. I always get my regular the buffalo chix with fries. The service here is top notch always willing to accommodate to your needs. I usually come during happy hours. I’ve had the pleasure of my drinks being made by the best (James). Amazing service every time we go which is often. We appreciate that you offer grass fed beef and unusual choices like bison and elk along with organic ice cream and coconut ice cream. We love the fried brussel sprouts but really wish you cooked with seed free oils like avocado, coconut or olive oil. Hope you will consider discontinuing canola oil. It will impact when we keep coming in. Also hope you’ll bring back the giant soft pretzel app.

This is one of the best restaurant I have been too, When you first walk in it is very clean and homey. The decor is so beautiful and creative. There is also a wide selection in the bar. This was my first experience here. It was a most delicious impossible burger with mushrooms with keto bread. I would have loved more shrooms, though. Good, filling lunch. Plenty of vegan options, even a vegan kids menu! We came for the burgers which were pretty good as were the draft beer and cocktails. We had the chocolate sundae and coconut pineapple tajine sundae for dessert and they were delicious! Service was friendly and quick even though there were only 2 people in front of house and every table was occupied.

Love the fact that they changed up the menu to include plant-based selections. Awesome bison burgers, they are always consistent with quality of food. Service is great, too! Kid friendly, parking can be an issue, especially, on the weekend. The Matador is a favorite!

The food is great here and the staff are super pleasant. I always find myself coming back here maybe 4 times or so in a year to grab a really better burger option. At $65 for 4 people to each have a burger sounds very pricey, but I must say it was well worth it. The ingredients were clearly quality, they followed all our special instructions, plenty of napkins and condiments, and after 1 burger I was full. Definitely a recommended burger spot.

Staff and Christmas decor was amazing. The food was awesome too but the staff experience really made it a place I want to go back to. I ordered ahead for pickup and it was ready as soon as I got there. The nice gentleman at the front also told me to have my toddler pick out toys from the treasure chest at the bar and he was THRILLED.

We walked in with 3 overtired and feral little boys and out waiter woody was amazing. He was kind and patient and brought over toys and activities for the boys instead of being annoyed that they were losing it. The food was very good and quick service. We stumbled upon this spot looking to go to another restaurant in RVC and I’m so glad we did. We will be back. Also, bonus points it’s very decorated for Halloween right now and the boys loved that!

It was a party of about 13 which I'm pretty sure they were not ready for. They accommodated us although we had to wait a bit. The owner was nice enough to let us store our sons bday cake before hand the day of because we had a prior engagement at a kids arts place behind the establishment. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Their cucumber martini was delicious and everything was on point. They came out with the cake and sang Happy birthday and my son enjoyed it as well as all the other kids there. Environment is mellow and very welcoming. Staff was very attentive. This bareburger is a great restaurant. The atmosphere is crazy and the staff here are so friendly. They have so many options to choose from with a great 100% vegan menu. My favorite is the Guadalupe burger, their black bean burger. You can customize anything for your liking here as well. The strawberry lemonade is delicious, as well as their shakes. They even have vegan whipped cream. Must try this place, no matter what type of diet you have. They have something for everyone.

One of the first things I have to say about Bareburger is that I appreciate the aesthetic. On on a nice day, when they open up the windows, you can enjoy a fresh breeze while you eat. It's the kind of place that feels laid-back but intentional. Their menu is impressive in terms of variety—there are plenty of options for all types of diets, which I really appreciate. I’ve recently stopped eating beef and chicken, so I was excited to explore their plant-based selections. I decided to try the "My Sunshine" burger, which features a sweet potato, kale, and wild rice patty, avocado, curly kale, organic tomato, and spicy green goddess dressing. While I wanted to like it, I wasn’t a fan. The combination didn’t work for me, particularly the hot avocado—it just felt like eating a bunch of mush. That texture didn’t sit well with me at all. This isn’t a knock on Bareburger overall, but more of a heads-up for anyone new to plant-based eating: if you’re transitioning from meat, you might want to start with something a bit more familiar, like their Impossible Burger, which I’ll probably try next time. On a positive note, the fries were solid. Crispy, flavorful, and they gave a decent portion, which is always appreciated. All in all, Bareburger remains a great spot with a lot to offer. Just be mindful when experimenting with new burger styles—it might take a few tries to find the one that suits your taste.

We love Bareburger and have been going to various locations for years. Came to Rockville center two days ago and built my own burger and could not believe what we got—- a small flat patty with 1 pickle, a smear of ketchup and a tiny slice of tomato. It was very reminiscent of a McDonald’s burger and didn’t taste great either. We love Bareburger for their big, handcrafted burgers and huge variety of toppings. I don’t know if this was just this location specifically because we have never had this happen in plain view. Service was okay and atmosphere nice. Won’t be coming back to this one.

While I absolutely loved the atmosphere and decor, for the price we paid, my burger was so incredibly tiny. And that was incredibly disappointing considering other burger places I’ve been to in the area that provided much larger burgers for the same or lesser of a price. The server was very nice, he was a younger kid and the only one working that afternoon so understandably he was a little flustered when I was trying to figure out what alcoholic drinks I could have with my diabetes. Overall not a bad experience at all, just not worth the money.

The only thing I can honestly say me and my family liked was the ceaser salad. Very disappointed 😞

My 1st time there. I did take out for a so co turkey burger, fries and onion rings. The fries were too salty, the onion rings a bit rough with the onion part being pulled away from the batter and the single burger patty size too small for the price. I feel they want you to order a double patty to make more money. Plus, I hardly tasted any spicy goddess sauce which automatically came with the burger. The decor is cute but I really feel that compared to other burger places, the price is too high for the amount of fries and the small burger size given. Will try elsewhere.

Maybe it was an off day We went on a Thursday the kids meal is only 5 pieces of chicken bites (Chick-fil-A gives more) The only good thing about this dinner was the Paloma and the waiter My burger was so chewy, it looked like they put the wrong patty on the wrong burger so they moved the bun and only the corner has cheese the middle was missing so I asked for another slice. The French fries were so mediocre I’ve had bareburger in White plains and they are completely different. These tasted frozen and cheap. Will never come back here, even the wings were nasty. Nothing special. It says Korean style wings a near by Deli make the same. So disappointing waste of $100 meal for 4.

Tbh I used to love ordering bareburgers the food used to be fantastic at first then as years goes by it slowly declined for me and this time it was my last straw. I ordered Americana I fished the whole thing no problem, I took 2 hour nap and I woke up with my stomach bloated and full and then next thing you know I was at my toilet for 45 min and then it got worse by throwing up all the food . The whole night I was throwing up with stomach pain and I realized I’ve catch food poisoning from the food . Non stop diarrhea stomach pain and vomiting . It sucks to write this full review to a place I used love getting and it’s unfortunate that this is my first and last food review. I would stay away from the place for very long time after what happened. I ended up getting my refund from uber eats .

Poor service took over 45 minutes for food to arrive. When it finally did my burger had a non edible sharp object in it. I brought it to my server’s attention for her to show her manager, the manager then comes and says she and she chef was looking around the kitchen and couldn’t seem to find the object. Overall unempathetic and rude.

So, I went to Bareburger with my family and kids not too long ago today. Our server was not mean. I do regret going because I ended up spending $70 on four burgers, two fries and two drinks. This was not my intended price budget. My budget was to spend $30-$40. The restaurant itself is nice and cute. I am rating this low because of the quality of service that my family received. I order two cheeseburger sliders and fries for my kids. I ask a lot of questions before I order because I like to know what I am ordering before I order my food. I asked the server if the burgers were small. He stated that they were small sliders. He made it seem like the burgers, the wagyu burgers were small sliders like White Castle burgers. So, I thought these would perfect size burgers for my two and three year old. The burgers were regular sized burgers and pretty hearty when they were brought to the table. If I would’ve known that from the beginning, I would’ve stopped there. Not to mention the fact that our server ordered four sliders and fries and I asked for two. I told him this and he apologized and decided to take the extra charge away from the bill. My order for my spouse and myself were build your own burger combos: We ordered wagyu burgers and sweet potato fries. When I looked at the menu and spoke with the server, I was told I could build my own burger combos for $12.95 with fries sold separately. I was okay with this price. The menu was a bit misleading also and the server failed to clarify that it was an extra $7.95 for a single wagyu burger. So, I am unknowingly paying $20 for each of our burgers plus an extra charge for two orders of sweet potatoe fries. I ordered everything on my burger(pickles, onion,etc). The burger did not taste good at all. It had not taste and was season-less. My children’s “regular sized burgers” are way too big for any average two and three year old to eat; they tasted more heartier, flavorful and more cooked than the two burgers combos that I ordered for my spouse and I. I was upset and frustrated nonetheless and regretful once again. Also, my spouse never received his order of sweet potatoe fries. I told my server this and he apologized and stated that he would discoung this charge from our bill. My spouse ordered a “natural coke” and that was a suggestion for a great non alcoholic drink from the server. The natural coke was extremely watered down and tasted like carbonated water with food coloring. My spouse, again, asked the server for another suggested drink and he stated a mango drink. I’m assuming my spouse liked his mango drink which was by the way non alcoholic. He stated it wasn’t anything special about it. Also, there was ice in the drink and my spouse stated that he wanted no ice in his drink. When I went to pay the bill for our order. It was originally $100. The bill was lowered to $69.81. I asked how was bill this amount $69.81. He states that that the build your own combo meal itself starts at $12.95 and that everything else was including (pickles, tomatoes, onions,etc) are all the separate charges that are added up. He then goes on to say that I apologize for not explaining you that the Wagyu burgers were a separate charge for each individual burger. I ended up having to ask my spouse to cash app me because I didn’t have enough on my card to pay for it all. Originally, My intentions were to tip was our server because he was not mean to us even though he made a lot of mistakes; and it’s customary for us. I was going to tip him something but after how poor the service was even if I did have it. I still don’t think that I would because the service was just that bad!! Ultimately, I feel like a good time eating out with my family and I was simply robbery with hidden fees and prices. I do not wish to go back there at all. For $70 I would not want to spend it on a burger joint, I could’ve used that money for my children. I did not expect the meal to be bad. I will not be coming back there. Do not get robbed like I did.

Bareburger seems to have changed. Ordered pastrami, was surprised some of their pastrami sandwiches were off the menu, ie:the mile high. They’ve also removed their options to remove or add things on DoorDash/uber. Tried calling to see if I can simply have a sauce on the side, was placed on hold for nine minutes, I hung up. The pastrami for 21$ came on a seeded stale club roll, who eats pastrami on a seeded piece of bread? Let alone a stale one? The pastrami itself was in fact full of flavor, but was in enjoyable because of how fatty and rubbery it was. Disappointed as this was one of my go to spots.

Disgraceful service. Our take out order was mistakenly given to a delivery driver. When I showed up to pick up our food, the staff rudely told me it was already picked up and turned around and that it was on me to figure it out because I ordered through Grubhub. Wow. How about it’s on you to figure it out since you gave my order to the wrong person?Never ordering from here again. This is the last of many issues.

I usually don’t leave reviews unless the experience is really good or really bad, but unfortunately my visit to Bareburger in Rockville fell into the second category. I came in expecting a casual, enjoyable meal, but instead walked away shocked and disappointed. The biggest issue? I was actually served what I believe was expired beer. That’s not just a small mistake — it’s completely unacceptable for any restaurant or bar, especially a brand with the reputation that Bareburger is supposed to have. The waiter honestly wasn’t the problem here. He did his best to handle the situation, and I could tell he felt awkward because there wasn’t much he could personally do. But the fact that something like this happened in the first place points to a much bigger issue with how this location is being managed. It makes me question how carefully they’re checking dates on their drinks, and it definitely makes me wonder about the overall attention to detail in their kitchen as well. A customer should never have to second-guess whether what they’re served is safe or fresh. Bareburger Rockville really dropped the ball on this one, and it turned what should have been a fun, easy dining experience into a complete disappointment. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously, because if they can’t guarantee quality and safety with something as basic as a beer, it doesn’t inspire confidence in the rest of the menu.
