The food was great quality, slightly expensive but so is everything else nowadays. Timely, thoughtful service, combined with excellent options on the menu. I would absolutely go here again!
New to the area and this was our first time ordering from here. We got takeout sushi and a kimchi pancake. It was delicious, we will definitely be trying more of the Korean food next. Family who runs the place is extremely kind. I hope they enjoy their upcoming vacation!
I don't know how I missed writing this review, but I did. We were there during the summer, for dinner. We'd been there on a previous trip and liked it so much, we had to go back. The food is wonderful and the service is great. I do have to rave about the dressing for the salad, which is house-made. I wish I could buy a bottle. We look forward to future trips there.
The food here was more than amazing, the service was amazing, and they made sure to desensitize the tables and chairs before letting us sit down. The menu's on their website, and everything was so clean. Trust me this restaurant is so underrated. They really need more customers, I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could. If anyone is looking for a good restaurant with good pricing, this is definitely the choice. A well earned 5 stars. Also their macha ice cream is amazing, I think it's homemade.
We ate there for the first time and not only was the clay pot delicious, but the service was incredible. The owner went out of her way to also make our 1 yr old entertained, including giving her free food. Such a kind gesture.
Kim the owner is the nicest person ever! We have been eating here for 20 years! Everything is delicious! Our favorites are Hamachi Collars, Chicken Katsu, and All of the baked rolls!
Always a great experience here. Incredible variety of strong flavors and authentic Korean food. The Spicy BBQ Pork is among the best I've ever had, and the staff is always very kind and show appreciation to their return customers.
Food was delicious 8 people at our table and not one complaint. The owner was so friendly. The server was great kept up with our needs. And the drinks were never empty. This place is amazing. We will be back.
Wow just wow, first time we came here and first restaurant in Rohnert Park that is good. Food was absolutely delicious and I'm an actual picky eater. Customer service was amazing, they were packed and food was delayed but the owner immediately offered one item after another on the house to apologize for the delay, always with a smile and the food was definitely worth the wait. This place will become one of our regulars and definitely recommend it!
The best Japanese and Korean fusion restaurant in Rohnert Park and Cotati region! Been there for three years. Always great experience. Never disappointed with their foods. One of my favorite is the spicy pork: if you can handle a spicy spicy food try it. It is like eating a fire. it is very opposite to a brain freeze. So, prepare a icy water before you scoop it for it will burn your taste buds damn good. Their rolls are pretty good too. My son who is picky eater loves dragon roll. That was a good surprise to find out. We will keep coming back to find out more for they have a menu with a dozen pages.
Tonight was the first time I ordered from Honey. I was initially aggravated when I was told there was an hour wait for a small takeout order, however upon picking up my order I realized that the owner of the restaurant was in the kitchen cooking alongside one other person with no other staff in sight. I asked if her dining room was open and she sighed with a "yes, but I have no one to work". Apparently it's just her and the other person who I assume is family. When I got home and began to enjoy my dinner I realized that the slightly higher prices were well worth it. The rolls were awesome and even the miso soup tasted better than our usual spot (Sushiko). I truly hope she can bounce back after the reopening and stays in business. We need more quality restaurants in the area! **Edit....the kimchi pancakes are crazy good!
Real good food. Everything I've had is delicious. Most items are home made including the soy sauce. Friendly family owner / operator. Welcomes you and cooks. I try something new everytime. Each time it's wonderful. Can't wait to try the next thing on my list
The BBQ pork is amazing!! Great food and selection.
We've been coming here for years and have always enjoyed our meal. The food is made with care. The amazing staff are friendly and so kind. We will be coming for years to come.
We arrived on Saturday night, having not done our homework and planning to dine in for my daughter's 16th birthday because had her heart set on trying Korean BBQ for the first time. Unfortunately learned that they were only doing take out. While we stood out front, trying to decide what to do, the owner came out and spoke with us and wound up doing several special things to take care of us. Food was amazing and the team she had help us was amazing - genuine smiles that can be seen through masks, and genuine concern and care about our experience. My daughter calls it "a night she'll never forget." We will be going back regularly!
Either my favorite or one of my favorite restaurants. They have great sushi as well as Korean food. They are also super nice! If you live around there or go to Sonoma State University you should definitely check out their lunch specials.
Food is great and service is out of this world.
I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. The service was phenomenal. The food was perfect. The only negative is that I'll have to live without it until I visit again as I reside in Pennsylvania. Please do yourself a favor and visit this place soon.
Very tasty food! First time trying because I received a gift card. Will definitely be coming back.
Amazing food, great customer service. Very casual and great for a bite to eat. I’ve been going here for years and the service is beyond great, and everyone is very friendly. I would recommend this to anyone looking for easy, not too expensive food and good service.
Delicious sushi and Korean cuisine to please travelers appetite. Enjoyed warm welcome and great service with wonderful foods. I definitely recommend this place for anyone who is looking for delicious foods and great service. 😍
Always super friendly and fast service! The food is delicious and worth the price too. They often have great specials too, which make lunch quick and easy.
Great little spot for Korean BBQ. No frills decor, and great food. Favorite dishes (so far 😉) BBQ beef, Bibimbap in clay pot, and BBQ Chicken Special. The owner is lovely. Hannah, the waitress was great.Everyone was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable.
The food here was delicious. Look at the pictures & imagine how good the plates could taste, & they were even better. Delicious, authentic Korean food. But what we liked perhaps even better than the food was how friendly & kid welcoming the entire staff was. This place is definitely going high on the list.
I love this place!! The owner is a sweetheart and so nice! I ordered take out tonight and it was gorgeous and delicious! I’ve had both the Japanese and Korean offerings- both are outstanding! Picture of 911 and Crazy Spicy Rolls… Amazing!
I love this place. I dont eat sushi but i do eat Korean BBQ and ghid place does a great job for not being a Korean only restaurant. The service is great and alwaya friendly. I dont really like how loud the music was but that's because i have a hard time hearing and it makes it difficult for me to hear other people at the table. Beaides that this place is great! The korean short ribs are killer almost as good as Simply Vietnam in Santa Rosa, i really enjoy the spicy pork as well. My finace tends to order the Bimbop Rock which is like a hot rice bowl with beef, fried egg, rice and veggies, really good, only criticism would be maybe add like a side of housin(spelling) sauce or cuz sometimes its a little dry and soy sauce doesn't do the trick. The kimchi is to die for! It usually comes with a something special from the chief, the other day it was pickled jalepones and just yesterday it radish's in a spicy chilli paste, absolutely amazing i ate two orders! If your like me and love Asian food but dont like fish this a good place to go to, lots of options. Give it a try and enjoy!
Food was good, staff was kind, and the speakers played a lot of Kpop songs I recognized. I had the kimchi stew and it was filling.
Very casual place with great food and kind staff. They answered every question we had and were very friendly. I ordered the chicken dolsot, it was tasty and surprisingly filling!

I feel like this restaurant is Rohnert parks best kept secret. This place is amazing. Great food, and their signature dish the honey chicken is incredible! Their house sauce in the yellow squeeze bottles is beyond good. But the thing that really sets this place apart, besides the food, is the service. The owner is an absolute gem. Kind, considerate and generous. It’s a great place to bring the family and the menu is diverse enough for everyone to have their favorites. We love this restaurant!
Food was so tasty and the service was so warm and friendly. We look forward to coming back 😊
Kim is the best! She's taken care of me since I was in high school, she always makes sure I'm never hungry. The Doslat is amazing and the BBQ Beef and rice is my favorite. If you want food to take out, she has a wonderful chicken teriyaki, easy and delicious meal!
The food is fantastic and the owner is so sweet and friendly. She overheard that it was my friend's birthday and surprised us with a complimentary desert. I'm so glad there is a nearby place to get excellent dolsot bibimbap now!
The food is delicious. The owner is very personable and has chatted with us a few times when she sees us. Picking up orders is efficient.
Great my mom and pop restaurant. Excellent menu of Korean and Japanese dishes. The server is awesome. Her husband is a phenomenal chef. Quiet and comfortable for lunch.
Best korean/japanese restaurant in town. Homecook with excellent quality. it always reminds me of home when I taste their Sundubu ❤️ I always went there with my wife when we were working at Petaluma. We Miss the aunty and her son, and their food.
Great food and huge portions! The wait staff was very attentive and even gave us miso soup and Korean pancake on the house. Will come back!
I ate here 2 days in a row. The food was incredible and service was amazing.
Great place for korean cuisine. Excellent food and they serve large portions. Authentic korean cuisine. Friendly staff and servers. Definitely a go to place for Korean authentic cuisine.
Great food- enjoyed by a picky grandma and two adventurous teenagers. Staff super friendly.

Both times that I've had food here, it has been great. The first time I had some vegetable tempura udon, and the second time I had a dish that had sautéed vegetables and tofu that had been cooked in a delicious sesame-teriyaki sauce and then placed over a bed of glass noodles--yum! Everyone else really enjoyed their food, too. Good prices and good food!
Super tasty food...a huge menu Including Korean specialties and beautiful sushi. Service is fast an friendly. Prices are a little high, but portions are large...so, share already!
Stopped in on a whim a couple weeks ago, and was pleasantly surprised. The interior is a bit confused...the menus need to be fixed or replaced, but the food was good and the service was better than expected. Very good lunch specials!!!!
Good service. Neat that they had both Japanese and Korean food, but felt like food quality for both, while decent, wasn't as great as other more focused venues in the area. Still, this is a great place to go if you happen to be close to SSU or want a mix of both Japanese and Korean cuisine.

We got a Mango Shrimp Avocado sushi roll ($19) and Soft Tofu Soup ($19). Both were great but unexceptional Service was fantastic and kind

The service was good but the food was terrible. The Korean tofu casserole was not tasty. The cucumber was bitter and not fresh
The wait was incredibly long, I got there and waited for about 20 MINUTES before the waitress asked me for our drink order. I then waited another FIFTEEN minutes for a drink that wasn’t really complicated. About half an hour into my stay, a group of about ten people show up and I was just cast aside. I waited another FORTY minutes for my food to arrive. It was almost as if the staff sidelined me because they were hoping for a greater tip from the larger party. Would not recommend unless you enjoy watching the next solar eclipse before appetisers arrive
My bbq chicken tasted boiled with no flavor. The servings were so small, not even a cup of rice which is so cheap. The spider roll was dry and flavorless as well with a speck of soft shell crab. We spent $100 and were extremely disappointed. Will not be going back.
. 01/05/2024 @ 11:55AM; On sister's birthday we were the first customers and we both ordered Korean bbq beef lunch which comes with steam rice and house salad and dressing also for side dish order miso soup. Although it was disappointed, bbq beef were not cooked fresh instead it was heated-up in microwave and some part was luke warm and actually cold as well. For this visit I down grade from 4-stars to 1-star. Down side is even fastfood restaurants would not heat-up in microwave. I HAVE TO SAY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS EATERY ANY LONGER FOR USING MICROWAVE COOKING.
Bad fishy taste. Very slow. I ordered seaweed salad and took one bite and sent it back. I was still charged for it. I asked for new chop sticks and they gave me a pair with dirty ripped up packaging. The fish in the sushi tasted old and fishy and the texture was chewy. Won't be going back and don't recommend.
