I couldn't help but compliment this establishment. The atmosphere is reminiscent of home, with attentive, always smiling, and very helpful service. The wide selection of seafood, meat, and pizza options. Specifically, as pictured, we ordered this: La Giara Royal Antipasto, hot and cold Fantasia di Mare*, swordfish carpaccio with pink peppercorns, tempura shrimp*, marinated salmon, scallops and mussels au gratin, smoked tuna, octopus carpaccio* with cherry tomatoes, caper-fruited artichokes, and Taggiasca olives Beef tartare on a nest of broccoli rabe, burrata mousse, and chopped pistachios Cacio e pepe tagliolini with red shrimp tartare Pizza Italia: crust filled with ricotta and basil pesto, confit yellow and red cherry tomatoes, and whole-wheat mozzarella I want to say that the appetizer, given its variety, freshness, and quality, was a surprise to the taste buds and the eyes, given the colors. Each piece exuded sweet and salty flavors and combinations of seasonings that amazed us. The tartare was thick-cut, not at all fatty, and melted in the mouth. Even though I avoid spicy food, I really don't appreciate it. I rediscovered it because it didn't overpower the flavor of the dish; on the contrary, it was sometimes toned down and complemented it. The revisited cacio e pepe is clearly also accompanied by a careful balance of ingredients. The pizza was cooked very well, the crust generously stuffed, the ricotta with pesto delicate, the cherry tomatoes fresh, soft and juicy. When they say "eating is not about quantity, it's about quality," it's true in this case; flavors and their combinations can truly be much more satisfying than you think.

We visited Giara without having planned one of our gastronomic explorations, so Watson and I made a last-minute stop at this restaurant/pizzeria in Romagnano and found a modern, clean, and tidy place with a staff that, overall, was capable, friendly, and enterprising. (We hadn't intended on ordering an appetizer, but one of the waitresses made a convincing suggestion, so we couldn't say no!). Our orders were quickly taken, and soon after, a seafood salad with arugula and carrots arrived as an appetizer. It wasn't long after we ate our appetizer that our two pizzas (one Roman and one buffalo mozzarella) were on the table. They're pizzas with traditional, rather than contemporary, dough. They were well-cooked, flavorful, and not heavy on the stomach. The two coffees were also excellent, which isn't always a given. The dessert wasn't up to par with everything else: a cake that was supposed to be chocolate and pear, but it was far from what it should be: a shortcrust pastry with chocolate cream and pear puree... Nobody's perfect! Overall, a place where you can eat well, even a pizza, without spending a fortune: for just over €60 we had two seafood salads, two pizzas, two coffees, one dessert, three 33cl Weiss beers, and a liter of mineral water.

We stopped here on our way back from a weekend of skiing. The pizza is great and the service incredibly fast. Also the place is very cosy. Price are very cheap.

Mi sono recata ieri per la prima volta in questo locale. Bello, luminoso, pulitissimo. Abbiamo ordinato il rotolaccio e una pizza. Il Rotolaccio è davvero buono e particolare, la pizza (non solo la nostra) era invece un po' secca tanto da risultare un po' difficile da tagliare e il cornicione era duro, non croccante ma duro. Può succedere. Il personale davvero cortese, servizio nei tempi giusti. Ci torneremo.

Siamo andati oggi per pranzo. Pesce molto buono e di qualità, unica pecca il tempo di attesa per le portate, molto molto lungo. Spero sia perché cucinano i piatti sul momento, quindi ci vuole il tempo necessario. Nonostante ciò, super consigliato anche in pausa pranzo.

Locale scoperto per caso. Buono il cibo ed i piatti ben presentati. Anche Pizza. Parcheggio esterno.

Returning from an off-road trip in the Sestriere area with three friends, convenient parking (we had an off-road vehicle and a car with a motorcycle trailer in tow), I booked during the trip, even though it was already 9:00 PM. They were happy to welcome us, the pizza was delicious, and the service was good at a fair price. I'd say it was an excellent experience, we'll be back 👍 And I forgot, four-legged friends are welcome 🐕 (we didn't have any, but I saw at least two in the dining room) 🤗👍

I stopped in on the evening of Ferragosto (August 15th) for a quick pizza. A welcoming, informal place with a fairly varied selection of pizzas (including rolled pizzas). Tasty first courses. Good value. Always busy during the week for business lunches.

Welcoming and delicious whole-wheat pizza, a cozy place, excellent seafood spaghetti, and affordable prices, incredible food. Today we stopped by La Giara for pizza. I was really craving it, and to my surprise, I noticed they also make pizza with fennel seed dough and whole-wheat flour. I have to say, it was delicious. You can taste the fennel seeds in every bite. Obviously, those who like it will be a dream. Thanks girls! 👍 Today, August 15th, we booked a table at this restaurant, and unfortunately, it didn't go so well for a number of reasons. We arrived and there was already a couple waiting. We went in, and the kitchen probably wasn't ready because they weren't coming to take orders. When they did leave, they made orders randomly, meaning whoever arrived after us gets served first! Then we had an appetizer of prosciutto with melon and figs. It was good, but I expected more figs; there was only one fig cut in half. The spaghetti was tasteless; instead of having that delicious fishy flavor, it wasn't there. Let's hope for the next one.

Nice place. Very fast service despite being busy, and very friendly staff. Excellent pizza dough. Not generous with the ingredients. The bill needs to be reviewed. €60 for a shellfish pizza (4 peeled shrimp and 2 scampi are really not enough), which was excellent but only tasted like asparagus, and 3 sfogliacci (again, very little gorgonzola), water, and 2 Cokes. The price should be lowered a bit or the ingredients should be increased. Recommended.

We stopped for work during our lunch break. The restaurant was nice, but the rest of the food was absolutely delicious. The water was hot, the parmesan was just a sachet each, the pasta with ragù was tomato sauce with 5 grams of meat, very thin, and the chicken breast was very bland with the boiled vegetables. I don't think I'll be back.

Maybe I came on the wrong night, but I have to say no. On a Monday evening that wasn't at all crowded, I ordered three pizzas and a pasta dish at 7:50 PM. The pasta arrived, after numerous reminders, at 8:30 PM (other tables served first, but arrived later). The pizza arrived at 9 PM, mine with burnt buffalo mozzarella on the edge and half a mozzarella. When the pizzas arrived, the waitresses apologized (the order was probably forgotten), but in the end, not even a discount. €75 for this, plus two fiordilatte ice creams, a Catalana, and a coffee. Never again.

Dal menù leggo "Veli di prosciutto crudo con melone" 11€. Mi arrivano 3/4 fette di prosciutto e 2 "spiedini" di melone e pomodorini con due grosse foglie di radicchio come guarnizione. Mi sono sentita presa in giro per la dose risicata del piatto (a quel prezzo) e l'aggiunta dei pomodorini, non menzionati nel menú. Pomodorini e radicchio sembravano voler dare "volume" ad un piatto di per sè scarso. In generale prezzi molto alti e si paga anche il coperto 2 €. Non tornerò. RIPETO 3/4 FETTE DI CRUDO.. neanche leggere con attenzione una recensione. I POMODORINI non li commenta? Potevo essere allergica. E mi risparmi la lezioncina sull'origine della parola antipasto per salvarsi la faccia: a maggior ragione se è antipasto un prezzo così associato ad un crudo e melone, lo ripeto, è ridicolo. Ad ogni modo ho messo la foto apposta così la gente trarrà da sola le proprie conclusioni. Leggendo altre recensioni, non sono la sola a dire che siete cari. Buona giornata a voi.
