Uno dei migliori posti di Roma dove cenare, cibo ricercato con accorgimenti da veri professionisti prima per esempio di ogni portata viene servita una chicca dello chef o se al tavolo vengono presi piatti diversi ti viene servito un assaggio di ciò che hanno preso gli altri. Da sottolineare la gentilezza e la professionalità del personale, carta dei vini top, servirebbe solo qualche accorgimento sui drink che non sono al livello di ciò che ho elencato prima. Il conto è consono al contesto e al cibo.

Abbiamo prenotato per il compleanno del mio ragazzo. Siamo stati trattati benissimo dall’inizio alla fine. Menù interessante, prezzi giusti ed ottima qualità delle risorse. Super consigliato!
L'occasione era di quelle della festa, per cui ci siamo detti: trattiamoci bene. Non avrei immaginato, tuttavia, di mangiare così bene come da Antico Arco. Abbiamo preso due menù degustazione e abbiamo assaporato pesce e carne non solo di qualità ma elaborati e accompagnati da sapori e consistenze inaspettate dove ogni piatto era un crescendo di sapidità e di "resistenza" al palato. Tutto perfetto, tutto indimenticabile. Menzione speciale per il crudo di ricciola, lime, zenzero e fagiolini che ancora mi sogno dopo quattro giorni...
Ho avuto modo di conoscere il locale grazie ad alcuni amici e devo dire che è stata una bella sorpresa. Molto curato, le diverse sale non sono grandi e ciò consente un grado di privacy maggiore . Le pietanze sono ricercate con abbinamenti inconsueti, ma piacevoli al palato. Il prezzo non è proprio economico, ma ne vale la pena.
Voglio iniziare questa recensione dalla location. Un posto che sembra una cartolina, dove si percepisce magia, relax e eleganza, situato all'inizio della passeggiata del Gianicolo è un piacere per gli occhi. Passiamo ai piatti. Che dire, le immagini parlano da sole, abbiamo fatto un percorso gastronomico principalmente a base pesce consigliato da Mattia (il proprietario). Non voglio svelare le nostre portate poiché si perderebbe la magia nello scoprire la pietanza che si ha davanti, raccontata come se fosse poesia dai camerieri (competenti e simpaticissimi) e soprattutto da Mattia. Questo percorso è stato accompagnato anche da una selezione di vini che dire di prima qualità è dire poco, una qualità che supera di gran lunga l'eccellenza. Davvero complimenti. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Mattia, quando si parla di passione per ciò che si fa lui ne è l'esempio, simpatico, professionale e ci ha fatto sentire come se fossimo a casa. Grazie davvero. Consiglio vivamente di fare questa esperienza perché per me non è stata la classica "mangiata in un ristorante", ma un percorso magico, fatto di sapori nuovi e sensazioni mai provate in vita mia.
Il personale è cortese e ci ha seguito con attenzione e cura in tutte le fasi del pranzo, dalla preparazione alla realizzazione. I piatti sono davvero ottimi, nell'abbinamento dei sapori, per la giusta quantità nel piatto e la particolarità e ottima qualità delle materie prime. I vini abbinati molto bene. Il posto è molto bello all'interno, varie sale in base al numero di ospiti, tutte ben arredate. La tavola apparecchiata con gusto e semplicità. Decisamente un posto da consigliare per eventi da celebrare bene e da ricordare. Anche gli ospiti ne sono rimasti estasiati.
Ho cenato recentemente all’Antico Arco e non posso che dare il massimo dei voti. È stata un’esperienza impeccabile sotto ogni punto di vista. Il cibo: Semplicemente eccellente. Piatti curati, materie prime di qualità e sapori che restano impressi. Ho mangiato davvero benissimo. Il servizio: Il personale è estremamente educato, professionale e attento a ogni dettaglio, il che rende l'atmosfera ancora più piacevole. L'ambiente: La pulizia è impeccabile. Inoltre, la location è meravigliosa: c’è un’atmosfera così rilassante che ti permette di staccare completamente e goderti la serata in totale relax. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante a chiunque cerchi qualità e un ambiente rigenerante nel cuore di Roma. Ci tornerò sicuramente!"

Ritorno dopo molto twmpo per Natale, menù degustazione ben variato. Scelta del vino molto accurato. Servizio sempre tempestivamente nonostante la giornata festival. Azzeccata la scelta di lasciare libere alcune cose, come i dessert, compresi però nel.menù. La cornice ambientale non ha bisogno di commenti, a 50.metri dalla fontana del Gianicolo.
Un grande grazie ai camerieri: gentili, accoglienti e molto professionali. Atmosfera fantastica. La pasta era davvero buonissima e anche la sambuca eccellente. Torneremo sicuramente!
Posto davvero unico per eccellenza della cucina ed eleganza dell’ambiente. La carta dei vini è una delle più complete mai viste e per fortuna contempla tanta Francia. Per me è come casa , grazie anche alla bravura e alla cura dello chef Fundim e dello staff che non mi lesinano attenzioni e gentilezza.

The staff were friendly from start to finish, and everything was really nice, 10/10. We took the vegetarian tasting menu: it was very good, and some dishes were easily a 10/10. By the end we were both full and weren’t sure we could handle the dessert, but to my surprise the tiramisu was very light and delicious. Great experience, I recommend it.

Before visiting Rome my friends spoke highly about the place that we must visit for sure. We went there to have dinner. Menu was selected by chef for us. They just asked which meet we are more into. We prefer fish. And the dishes that we have are all amazed us. We enjoyed the taste and it was other level of satisfaction of eating. Chef Fundim just made our night and now we recommend everyone. It should be the must visit place if you are looking to experience satisfaction. Also the choice of champagne and wine was gorgeous as well.

Best carbonara we’ve ever had! Complementary breads, starter and desert. Not cheap but worth the cost. An amazing experience and incredible food. Would highly recommended to anyone visiting Rome.
A place doing modern takes on some classics and introducing their own tastes. Overall a very pleasant experience, some things to note is that their bread is the best I’ve had in my week here, and they actually split dishes that were shared by serving them separately. Their best pasta dish is definitely the carbonara, and honestly I kind of regret not trying their tasting menu, but they still brought out a sampler before our first dish and even before desert. The only thing I would say to improve is the ginger desert I picked needed more pineapple fruit on it, that would elevate it! The experience was enjoyable and they definitely want you to be happy here, so don’t be afraid to speak up.
10 years ago we bid farewell to our Italy trip here, so nothing more appropriate to repeat it. The food continues to be fantastic, with spin on Italian classics plus some inventive dishes. Great place to taste a more modern take on Italy food heritage.
The tasting menu, at 80 euros, is a fantastic value for an incredible meal. Two fish starters, two pastas (including the truffled carbonara), beef tenderloin, cheese, dessert. Everything was prepared and plated well - wait staff very knowledgeable and attentive. Highly recommend if staying on the Trastevere side of Rome.
We went here on my birthday as it was very close to our hotel and it had good reviews. And I don't regret it one minute! We got the tasting menu and the food was just delicious! Especially that carbonara with truffles, oh my! Now I can't eat normal carbonara anymore! The fish, the duck, everything was really worth every penny. As we told them it was my birthday, they really treated great and they even brought a little extra dessert to blow a candle!
A five star dining experience sitting outside, it wasn't bad with the traffic noise at all. All of the dishes were outstanding, make sure you have the salmon appetizer with bacon crumbles and also the ambergine appetizer. They have an extensive wine list and the sea bass dinner entrée was delicious. Also there they gave us several complimentary extra small bites during dinner. The lava cake for dessert was wonderful. Service was impeccable but at the end took a while to notify someone to bring our bill. Not an inexpensive restaurant but I felt it was a very good value for the quality and experience. I would recommend the trip (a 20 euro uber ride) if you are staying in downtown Rome near the monuments.

Ristorante raffinato con personale attento e gentilissimo, su tutti Gabriele empatico con la clientela. Primi delicati e variegati nei sapori, molto apprezzata la carbonara con foglie di carciofi croccanti e tartufo. Secondi ricercati e saporiti, personalmente ho scelto abbacchio con carciofi. In una meravigliosa domenica romana di fine febbraio ho circa un'ora di tempo e decido di fermarmi a mangiare in questo ristorante di fronte alla Porta San Pancrazio, che tra l'altro vedo quasi ogni giorno, trovandosi sulla strada casa lavoro. Vista la giornata di sole, chiedo di sedermi fuori e, nonostante sia da solo e non abbia prenotato, non fanno problemi. Molto correttamente il cameriere mi chiede se voglio pane, in menù è indicato che costa 4 €, e io dico di sì. Il pane è artigianale e devo dire che è molto buono, soldi ben spesi. Ordino una carbonara con tartufo nero, non economica (22 €), però anche qui il livello è ottimo, è veramente un buon piatto. Addirittura mi hanno portato un piccolo antipasto, un miniburger, e un piccolo dolce (crumbles di brownie con crema) offerti dalla casa. Non ho preso vino, quindi nulla posso dire sui vini. Comunque ottima esperienza, da reiterare.

The tasting menu started fabulous with a mashed potatoes truffle bite. Every dish after that got worse and worse. We didn't finish the main, the cheese, or our desserts they were so bad. It felt like the chef (if they even had any training?) wasn't even trying to make cohesive dishes with flavor, texture, or temperature in mind (steak with a milky sauce and cold tamatoes? Tiramisu with whipped cream instead of marsapone?) Even the wait staff didn't seem surprised we didn't finish our dishes. We were highly disappointed in our experience. The wine was good, surprisingly. Seems like a fancy tourist trap for travestere. Would not recommend to anyone for a true fine dining experience.

Non posso dare meno di una stella purtroppo. Un tempo era il miglior ristorante di tutti. Volevo diventare cuoco grazie alla passione e qualità che la proprietaria metteva in ogni dettaglio. Ora nuovo proprietario. Nuovo cuoco. In cucina nemmeno un italiano dal primo all ultimo componente dell equipe. Servizio al livello di pizzeria di trastevere, 3 ragazzini senza competenze e che ignorano il menu. L unico piatto fotografato è stato il dolce... talmente era ridicolo e di aspetto fallico. Gli antipasti erano ignobili. La carbonara la fa meglio lo zozzone di tiburtina ed ho detto tutto. I secondi una vergogna. Mai una volta ci è stato chiesto come andava. Non una parola sui piatti che tornavano indietro a metà. Ci tenevo a mostrare inoltre il lurido stato in cui versava il locale, dai pavimenti, ai tavoli unti e senza tovaglia, ai bagni. Sono convinto che tutte le recensioni recenti siano false. Un tempo ci mangiavano preti e cardinali tanto era di livello. Ora rimane solo la vecchia insegna a ricordare qualcosa che non c è piu.
