Stunning views and creative cuisine. Really like how they managed to create a truffle pasta without truffle but with tobacco grinds and spices. The tiramisu is also very good - 99% of tiramisu in Rome is homogenous thus finding an innovative one is surprising. Every plate is simply Michelin level. Wine pairing is very nice and with a reasonable price if you don’t order some specific items. Overall it’s worth trying

Me and my husband went to La terrazza for our honeymoon and we enjoyed it a lot. First of all the service is exceptional, they were very attentive to our every need. It really felt like more of a guided experience than just a simple dinner. If you are lucky enough to get a table by the window then it offers one of the best views in all of Rome. We ordered a 3 course dinner which included; Shrimp, cistrus consomme and sake and golden tomato with bread as starters Rissoto with meat broth, capers and peppers for second course Lobster and roman courgettes, chicken with pepper and herbs for the main course. We loved every single bite. Every dish was carefully explained by the wait staff along with one of the chefs coming out to personally explain and walk through the desserts tableside with us. I loved their pre dessert and after dessert tasters. Everything was amazing and I highly recommend it to other people.

The food was very good, and you don’t necessarily need to go for the full tasting menu: a well-chosen 2 or 3 courses plus dessert is more than enough if you're not starving. The panoramic view is stunning, easily one of the highlights of the experience. They also have a nice selection of wines to pair with your meal. A refined spot for a special dinner with a great atmosphere.

A very special place with a nice view! Can be considered a luxury place in Eden Hotel… this place was apparently visited by some of the biggest names in Hollywood, different actor singers and public personalities from around the world, can’t even see the pictures with autograph on the wall! There is also the redhead lady piano singer that plays amazingly and has a very nice voice! The perfect place for a special dinner or lunch or even a drink.. as an indoors and outdoors venue! Of course you have to consider the crisis to be more expensive than other places, considering the location, history and the quality of food and drink!

The service was also amazing that they are always served with a cover then the waiters will open all the cover for four of us or let us smell the fragrance left on the cover. We took the most expensive Champagne Krug with great taste. One more thing to be mentioned is that we were stuck in the traffic and tried to call the restaurant, they help delayed our appointment accordingly. Very helpful reception!

This is a must visit. From the food to the service everything is perfection. Simone and Carlo our servers were amazing. They made us feel special and like we were the only guests. The food was phenomenal. They should have a Michelin star if they do not. Oh and you must try the tiramisu and basically the whole menu. The spaghetti is the best I have had anywhere. From the attention to detail to the great gestures of hospitality, you made us feel like family. We will be returning again and again. As on this visit alone to Rome we returned twice. Abbiamo gustato una cena veramente “gourmand” con tante gradite “amuse bouche” allietata anche dalla bella vista! Mi sarei aspettato, però, una maggiore attenzione nei nostri confronti, visto che avevo segnalato nella prenotazione via mail che si trattava di anniversario di matrimonio (54 anni): un fiore sulla tavola o un calice di ben venuto, ma….nulla di nulla! Nonostante ci sia stata chiesta l’attesa di qualche minuto, siamo stati accompagnati di fronte ad un grande tavolo tondo con una “nuda” tovaglia! Telefonicamente avevo richiesto di parlare con il Direttore, per assicurarmi per l’attenzione richiesta, ma nonostante vari tentativi, non mi è stato concesso. Inoltre, essendo amante del buon gusto, in tutti i sensi, sia estetico (tanto più essendo architetto), sia gastronomico, al fine di un appunto costruttivo, esprimo le seguenti considerazioni, negative e positive: 1. La “mise en place” per l’ambiente che rappresenta "La Terrazza” è molto modesta, sia per il tessuto dei tovagliati, sia per il triste colore; 2. Le luci dei faretti posti nel controsoffito, sono fastidiose e non creano una atmosfera piacevole, disturbando, di sera, anche la vista magnifica; 3. Quando siamo arrivati, alle 21:30, ora della prenotazione, siamo stati accompagnati ad un grande tavolo tondo, evidentemente occupato in precedenza da 4 o più persone in quanto il tavolo era molto scostato dalla vetrata e invadeva il corridoio di passaggio, con fastidio per noi dato dall'ovvio andirivieni del personale di sala: abbiamo dovuto chiamare il personale per far riallineare il tavolo. Siamo rimasti spiacevolmente sorpresi dal mancato allestimento della tavola; 4. Abbiamo avuto l’assistenza al tavolo del bravo, cortese e disponibile Carlo, che ha sapientemente illustrato ogni piatto di portata, “curando” sempre anche i nostri bicchieri. Il giorno successivo ho ricevuto una mail dal responsabile di sala, il quale, dandomi del tu, mi diceva che era stato “un piacere ospitarmi”. Ho risposto riportando sia le lamentele e sia gli apprezzamenti di cui sopra e non ho avuto alcun riscontro.

Sono andata a luglio per il mio compleanno, vista bellissima su Roma, un’esperienza culinaria da fare almeno una volta nella vita.

Un luogo magico nel centro di Roma. Atmosfera da mille e una favola. Cibondi altissima qualità....accompagnato da un servizio eccellente. Prezzi.....alti...ma giusti per tutto quello che si mangia e la location ti offre.

Location incantevole, cucina curata, ma poca attenzione verso le intolleranze Il ristorante gode di una vista davvero suggestiva su Roma, un ambiente elegante e curato e propone una cucina ben strutturata, con piatti molto ben studiati negli ingredienti, composizione e nel gusto. Il servizio è gentile e presente, una piacevole compagnia durante tutto il corso della serata, ma lascia l’impressione di non essere adeguatamente preparato riguardo ciò che viene servito dalla cucina. Cio che mi ha lasciato perplesso riguardo l’esperienza complessiva è che un contesto di alta ristorazione, alcune leggerezze nella gestione delle intolleranze alimentari risultano difficilmente comprensibili. In fase di prenotazione – effettuata con largo anticipo – mi è stato chiesto se ci fossero intolleranze, e ho segnalato quella al lattosio. Successivamente ho anche inviato una mail ulteriore per ribadire l’informazione, aspettandomi che a seguito di tanta attenzione preliminare fossero previste delle alternative completamente prive dell’allergene. Eppure, una volta al tavolo, nessun piatto del menù risultava adatto, tranne uno, e non era stato prevista alcuna alternativa fuori menù. Durante l’ordine, abbiamo dovuto indicare più alternative per ogni portata, nella speranza che la cucina potesse adattarle. Il risultato proposto è stato un percorso improvvisato, scelto dalle portate contente lattosio in quantità “più moderate” rispetto le altre e poco omogeneo(due piatti di pesce e uno di carne). Una volta richiesta una linea più armonica a base di pesce, il cameriere è tornato semplicemente comunicando – senza nemmeno chiedere se potesse andare bene – che il primo sarebbe stato un risotto ai frutti di mare. Anche sul secondo piatto era disponibile un’unica opzione. Nella stessa panificazione erano presenti prodotti contenenti lattosio, le cui quantità sono rimaste vagamente “un po’ di” Mi chiedo sinceramente: che senso ha chiedere le intolleranze alla prenotazione, se poi non si è organizzati per gestirle con l’attenzione attesa dalle premesse? Nel corso della serata ci è stato offerto un cambio tavolo verso una posizione con vista migliore, gesto cortese che abbiamo notevolmente apprezzato, ma che non compensa del tutto la superficialità dimostrata nella fase iniziale. Un’esperienza che ha indubbiamente molte qualità, ma che necessita di maggiore attenzione e sensibilità verso le esigenze alimentari, soprattutto quando vengono comunicate con largo anticipo e con precisione. In definitiva, riguardo questo aspetto specifico, la sensazione della serata è stata quella di dover prestare attenzione ai propri piatti ed utilizzare diversi integratori a copertura di un’eventuale e non ben quantificato lattosio presente nelle pietanze.

Cucina ricercata, atmosfera top e bella vista. Ma non essendo un turista che da valore al panorama su Roma penso che non valga il rapporto qualità (alta) / prezzo (200€ a pax)

Ho deciso di festeggiare una data importante con mia moglie e ho scelto la Terrazza dell'Eden su consiglio di amici che si erano trovati molto bene qualche anno fa. La vista è naturalmente il pezzo forte, ma la delusione, profonda, arriva proprio dalla cosa più importante, il menù. Noto solo che il menù degustazione scelto prevede come antipasto una striscia di finocchio ( sì, avete letto bene, proprio finocchio) con pepe rosa e aceto balsamico talmente striminzita che si perdeva nel piatto. Il resto del menu presentava altri tre mini assaggi non indimenticabili più una carruba come dessert. La cosa migliore è stata la degustazione dei vini proposta dalla sommelière. Il tutto per una somma veramente spropositata. Specialmente se si paragona il ristorante ad altri sulla piazza di Roma altrettanto importanti, ma di maggior soddisfazione per il palato (e anche per il portafoglio). Per meritare una stella Michelin, occorre rivedere completamente il menù. Per quanto interessati più a degustare che ad abbuffarsi, non si possono più accettare così poche portate composte da porzioni così minuscole. Oltretutto, si corre il rischio di bere troppo rispetto alla quantità di cibo assunto. Servizio inappuntabile cortese e disponibile. Peccato.
