Abbiamo fatto aperitivo presso la terrazza dell’hotel de la ville. Serata purtroppo nuvolosa quindi non ideale per le foto, ma l’ambiente e la vista sicuramente molto belli. Bella lista dei cocktail che vanno dai 22 ai 150 euro, quindi prezzi piuttosto alti ma giustificati dalla posizione, dall’ambiente e dal servizio. Noi abbiamo preso un funky passion, un mamma mia spritz, un Campari cardinale e un bicchiere di franciacorta rose. Tutti i cocktail erano ben fatti e nessuno ci ha deluso. Erano presenti tante opzioni, dai classici ai classici rivisitati in chiave moderna. I camerieri sono stati molto gentili ed il servizio é stato efficiente. Come aperitivo ci sono stati dati delle patatine, delle mandorle e delle olive che ci venivano riforniti ogni volta che li finivamo. Sicuramente un bel posto per vivere un momento di calma e romanticismo con il proprio partner.
Il miglior roof visitato fino ad ora. Si trova al settimo piano dell'Hotel de la Ville. Da non confondere con la terrazza al sesto piano dove è possibile prendere un aperitivo, pranzi e cene più light ma comunque con una buona selezione. Ottimo il servizio molto curato ed attento al cliente. Per primo abbiamo assaggiato i tortelli fave e pecorino, molto delicati. Per secondo branzino con crema di patate e carciofi, rana pescatrice con guanciale e piselli. Dessert con tarte tatin calda con gelato al rosmarino e julienne di mela. Tutto ottimo. Il panorama su Roma è spettacolare. Il roof del settimo piano è aperto durante la bella stagione e quando il clima lo consente. Altrimenti ci si sposta al secondo piano. In linea con altri ristoranti di livello, hanno introdotto nel pagamento POS l'opzione facoltativa della mancia al 15%, percentuale che potete cambiare o lasciare l'eventuale mancia in contanti. È un luogo speciale.

Posto incantevole al 7 piano dell’hotel De La Ville. Aperto dalle 11:00 alle 00:00. Panorama mozzafiato su Roma. Staff gentile e molto simpatico. Musica rilassante in sottofondo. Consiglio il loro Filetto di Wagyu con chips di ceci e cicoria e il branzino con crema di patate e carciofi. Tenete assolutamente uno spazio per il loro tiramisù con granita alla panna e i bignè con crema e cioccolato fuso sopra!!

Un anniversario indimenticabile con vista su Roma. Abbiamo ricevuto dai nostri figli, in occasione del nostro anniversario di matrimonio, un voucher per una cena al Cielo Terrace /Hotel de la Ville, una delle terrazze con vista più suggestiva su Roma. Non avremmo potuto ricevere regalo migliore! L’esperienza è stata semplicemente splendida: dall’accoglienza calorosa al servizio impeccabile, fino alla qualità eccellente del cibo e del vino. Ogni portata è stata una sorpresa per gusto, raffinatezza e presentazione, in perfetto equilibrio con l’atmosfera romantica e unica della location. Un ringraziamento speciale va al restaurant manager Massimiliano e al suo staff: gentili, attenti e sempre disponibili, ci hanno guidati con professionalità e simpatia, rendendo la serata ancora più piacevole. È stata davvero un’esperienza indimenticabile, che conserveremo nel cuore.
Una cena davvero indimenticabile! Al Cielo il pesce e i frutti di mare sono stati eccellenti, freschissimi e preparati con grande maestria. Già i pomodori avevano un gusto incredibile, segno di una qualità straordinaria delle materie prime. La selezione dei vini è stata consigliata in modo impeccabile e ha accompagnato perfettamente ogni piatto. Il personale è stato estremamente cordiale e attento, facendoci sentire accolti in ogni momento. La vista che spazia fino alla Basilica di San Pietro e su tutta la città rende l’esperienza ancora più speciale. I prezzi, considerata l’altissima qualità, sono assolutamente giusti. Fantastica location collocata all'ultimo piano di un hotel di lusso, l'affaccio e collocazione nei pressi di piazza di Spagna ripagano il costo della cena. Un secondo, un contorno ed acqua 80eur circa. Servizio impeccabile.
Ho avuto la fortuna di lavorare per un evento in questa bellissima location. L' Hotel de la Ville si conferma uno degli alberghi migliori di Roma. Terrazza con una vista impareggiabile, civo sopraffino e il Julep bar con interni che sono fedeli alla tradizione italiana ma con un twist fashion e moderno. Un hotel che guarda al futuro con uno staff giovane, dinamico, professionale e sempre sorridente... Che chiedere di più
Una terrazza iconica, una vista eccezione e un servizio perfetto - Grazie Valerio Sono venuta per un tè e si poteva scegliere sia la terrazza Cielo, sia il cafè a piano terra tutto decorato a tema natalizio... INCANTEVOLE. Ci ritornerò sicuramente a provare un altro outlet / servizi.

Il rooftop più bello! Location incantevole con una vista su Roma davvero unica. Abbiamo cenato al 7° piano dell'hotel,qui da Cielo ed è stato tutto perfetto, accoglienza,cibo,vino. Ogni tavolo gode di una vista unica che renderà piacevole la vostra serata. La cameriera che ci ha seguiti è stata molto disponibile nel fare apportare una modifica ad una portata e a consigliarci per il meglio. Torneremo presto
Sono stata a pranzo con un’amica in questo bellissimo ristorante il 19 aprile. Oltre alla vista che toglie il fiato, l'esperienza al Cielo de la Ville è stata un vero piacere anche per il palato. I piatti che abbiamo assaggiato erano davvero ricercati , preparati con cura e attenzione. In particolare, consiglio vivamente di provare la rana pescatrice e i ravioli fava e pecorino che sono davvero un esplosione di gusto. Tornerò sicuramente, è indubbiamente la migliore terrazza di Roma. Complimenti!

Do 5 stelle per la vista panoramica, stesso non posso dire per ciò che ho mangiato... Pagato come un gourmet... Ma mangiato come un ristorante come tanti... Molto carino ed accogliente, personale ben educato. Consiglio forse per aperitivo.

Cielo offered truly special rooftop views, elegant and peaceful dining, and absolutely wonderful food. The service was excellent, and the staff attentive, classy, and pleasant. Dining here makes one feel upper-class, without the stuffy vibes or the exorbitant cost (not to say it's cheap, just that they don't charge unwarranted high prices.) We would definitely return for more; there's not a single aspect of our experience at Cielo that deserved any less than a perfect score.
Wonderful place here. We had a lovely view overlooking Rome. We were taken care of by many people. We were given complimentary desserts and they were divine! We all enjoyed our meals and as we headed out, we realized it was a Michelin Starred restaurant! It was a pleasure dinning here.
Lovely rooftop cocktails at sunset. Highly recommend the Studio 54 Collins if you’re in the mood for a gin & tonic. Great service as well and loved the music the DJ was playing.
Restaurant on the pricier side, but the warm atmosphere and excellent service make it worth it. We went to celebrate our first time in Italy and it couldn’t have been a better choice. Impeccable service from the moment we arrived, with special thanks to Caterina for her attentiveness and professionalism. The exceptional view over the city made the experience truly memorable. A well-worth experience that we will cherish.
A beautiful rooftop Italian gourmet restaurant just steps away from the Spanish Steps. Also open very late so I was able to have a very lovely meal at around 10 pm after checking into my hotel nearby having just arrived from Los Angeles. Service was wonderful, food was extremely delicious, gourmet but not too gastroscience, still maintained qualities of traditional Italian cuisine, just more refined. Highly recommend!
I wanted something different and I found this place that was incredible . The atmosphere was great, the view too, with good drinks and food. The service team were very kind , specially a waitress who is called Alessia , she was very patient and polite , she took us to a beautiful table with a view over all of Rome.

We came here for our one and only fancy meal in Rome and the food was incredible, I almost cried! They did send us a last minute email asking us not to wear shorts and this was a major issue for my husband who already had braved the Vatican with pants earlier that day (the man lives in shorts) … so he wore shorts and thankfully the restaurant didn’t say anything to us. Aside from feeling a bit awkward about that, it was incredible.
We visited here last week after a recommendation from a tour guide, and whilst it’s not cheap, it’s worth every penny. The view is spectacular, and the terrace is the perfect compliment to that. Clean, well spaced out, and with all of the little touches one would hope for like fires, heaters, plants, nibbles, a DJ, and blankets. Highly recommend coming here and watching the sun go down. The staff were friendly and super attentive. The patrons were all respectful and chilled out. Even though the place feels exclusive, it’s also super warm and welcoming once you arrive. To top it all, the cocktails were some of the best I’ve ever tried. Give this place a go. Highly recommend the Mamma Mia Spritz!
Exactly what I was looking for. The view, the quality of the flavors (it's Italy!), and the service was excellent. A version of a whiskey sour with a splash of red wine.... Yes please! The scallops with pureed potatoes and truffle.... Ummm yup, one of those! And for God's sake, there is a cheesecake. Ricotta cheese and orange sauce, add a blood orange sorbet... And yeah, THAT is a must! All in all a great experience. The fact that it is just up the street from the Spanish steps but yet hidden a bit, that sealed the deal. Is it inexpensive? Nope. Is it trendy? Maybe. But is it obnoxious and super touristy? Absolutely not. So in super touristy Rome, it is a wonderful getaway inside the city. Check 'em out, and enjoy the relaxation.
Fine dining experience with an amazing view. The staff is fully prepared and offer delicious suggestions for dinner, dessert, wine, and everything in between. Our party loved everything we ordered and would definitely go again.
In one word spectacular the food was incredible the atmosphere amazing the view indescribable it could not have been more perfect Katerina our waitress made our night truly memorable. Absolutely recommend this place to any travel make sure to book and be pre-warned the prices are high.
It's a beautiful terrace. The snacks are great. The staff is very polite. They throw too much ice in Aperol, maybe you can warn them when ordering :) all the food is very good, I think their chefs are very good and they have very good kitchens. I would say don't choose it for the view. Because the tables are low and you can only see the view when you stand up. But the food was very good.

Beautiful place with amazing views of Rome. They have great drink options and the service was excellent. The only thing is you can’t really see much of the view while you’re seated, which defeats the purpose of going there in the first place.. we had the option to sit at the table closer to the balcony or further away (further away was recommended by the host to have a better view), however, you truly can’t see much. Perhaps one recommendation would be to have high top tables? Either way, it was still worth it! They have a live DJ, too!

However, we didn’t get any time with the Sommelier because he was busy with one table. Came here on a whim. Hilarious overpriced drinks and a nice view. Bartenders were very nice and service was quick. If you enjoy blowing 30 euros per drink than this is the place for you. There were four of us and we each had one drink. Easily 80 euros.
