Golden Krust has great authentic Caribbean flare. i was surprised to see the place very clean and simple. the food is also tasty. mouthwatering. The price is also less. I liked the place.

Food at this Golden Krust is always fresh, I usually pick up food on my way to work, their jerk chicken and snapper fish are my favorite not to mention the different porridge every morning. Big up all the friendly servers especially Melissa who makes sure that you're satisfied.

Whenever I'm on South Conduit ave I stop in for a spicy beef patty. The Golden Krust is one of the tastier, well known brands. They're always hot here. Worth the coin for sure.

The food here is always good and served hot. My personal favorite is the stew chicken, and the curry goat. I sometimes stop in and pick up food on my way to work in long island. Its convientlt located off of the Belt Parkway which is great. Prices can get a little expensive for bigger plates, but the proportions always match the cost.

Great portions, decent prices, all types of patty on the menu & the customer service is up. He made sure we had napkins, straws, cutlery, etc. in the bag instead of carelessly throwing things in. The young man behind the counter is full of manners and happens to be very easy on the eyes lol. Clean skin bwoy, I'd drive all the way back to NY just for you ☺️. The only negative about this location is that there is no where for you to sit while you wait for you food! Lol, put some chairs inna di place nuh.

The Beef patties are always being made fresh and whenever Im in the area I make a special stop for 10 or 20 patties to bring home to Staten Island. I have been coming here for years. They are delicious but this is very spicy food so go with the mild patties as they are still spicy but not overbearing if your not a custom to it.

I like this particular Golden Crust Bakery ( Jamaica, NY). The food there always seem fresh. I have never been disappointed with the quality. The cleanliness should also be rewarded an "A" grade. What a pity its too far away from me. The women there know how to serve. They are very generous. Expansion will serve them well as there are lots of customers most of the time.

Make sure to park around the corner. South Conduit can be very busy. When I went, there was only one girl working but she was efficient and polite. I just go for the large assortment of Jamaican style patties. When I want around noon they were nice and fresh. Would I recommend? Ya mon!

I love the beef patties there always fresh. A different location tonight and I was disappointed with the GK in Rosedale the patties were warm and dry the curry goat was too spicy I could barely eat it and I received 'pot bottom aka burnt rice ". Very disappointed ☹️ now I have to go back to my old GK on Linden boulevard where the food is consistently delicious.

The curry goat was so spicy (more than normal) that I couldn't enjoy it. And the saltiness was as if someone accidentally dumped and excess of salt and didn't want to throw it out instead of fixing it. Very disappointed. This is the 2nd time I had an issue at this particular location. I guess I'll be going back across town.

On June 7, 2024, at approximately 2:00 PM, I visited the store to purchase oxtail. The tall black lady, who appeared to be the owner, was the only staff member present. Unfortunately, her customer service skills were lacking, and she seemed unhappy. When I asked about the price of the oxtail, she responded with a dismissive tone, saying it was the same price regardless of payment method. I explained that I wanted to know the price to ensure I had sufficient cash, but she didn't seem interested in understanding my perspective. Even when I thanked her after the transaction, she didn't respond. While the oxtail was delicious, I won't be returning due to the poor service. I hope the owner recognizes the importance of customer service and takes steps to improve it

I only go for the patties but the last few times have been a disappointment. The flavor is one dimensional SPICY HOT no flavor just SPICY. The consistency of the meat makes you wonder should you consume it. Lastly if you applied for the job why come to work daily with an attitude. It will be a while before I go back to this establishment

Terrible service. Rude Women behind the counter acted miserable and didn't want to be there. Came all the way from Phoenix, AZ to enjoy some nice Jamaican food. They left us standing there at the window while the line piled up behind us. We left and went up to Kriss on Farmers Blvd. .They have way better service and food. They have ROTI! goat and oxtail roti.

Workers all they do is talk over your food with no masks on but wants you to wear one. That location can never get a penny from me again., that's why they had a B GRADE in the window.

I ordered a small oxtail with rice and peas. They didn’t have any cabbage or plantains, the oxtail was ice cold in some parts of the food, the cashier was not welcoming at all and charged me $21.63. Not going back.

Generally I love the food but the service was horrible as per usual today and I found a black beatle in my rice and peas with oxtails. Highly disturbed by the fact I was eating and found it sitting there in my rice. So future customers please check your food carefully after purchase even though this famous restaurant is certified as an A They don't even deserve a star!!!!

Oxtails are good, but service is way below standard. I don't know why these women that work in these Caribbean restaurants think that they are better than serving food. This entitled attitude is terrible and has no place in any restaurant. It's like having a waiter with poor hygiene.... I'm over your rudeness, and you ruin my appitite every time.

The food here is a little questionable as far as cleanliness goes...not really up to par with other locations I’ve been to. Additionally the look outside the restaurant should steer you away from eating here altogether...trash and grease right outside the door to the kitchen on the side of the restaurant. They have an obnoxious employee who plays extremely loud music that you can hear blocks away. Just avoid at all costs. Extremely disappointed, wish I knew who the owner was they should not allow this.

I mainly come here for the jerk chicken. Last Saturday I went the cashier told me I can’t get thighs and breast in the Jerk Chicken.. Ok! Not my choice but it’s what they offering. There is never soup with provisions are meat, only soup BROTH/WATER. They get a C- from me for the poor service and ATTITUDE. The Cust Service could use some improvement.

This place deserves less than 0 stars. I don’t know what’s with the Jamaican women at the front cashier but they all have very bad attitudes and they all act as if you are disturbing their conversations when you place your order. The food is mediocre, the service is a joke and the only thing I like is the gentlemen in the front who plays music and sell DVDs.

I order larger fry snapper dinner through Doordash. He waited for 45mins for the food and when it came the fish didn't fry properly I almost thought they were trying do steam fish... I was so disappointing.

Someone, please, confirm this for us - Any Golden Krust we've ever been to sells their meat, either as a meal or on the plastic tubs. Small, Med or Large. Apparently, this Golden Krust doesn't sell their meat like that and instead forces you to purchase an entire meal. I've paid much more for a Large tub of Oxtail, than I do for a meal, so I don't understand. In addition, I'm not sure if the employee was just trying to give me a hard time. I drove from Long Island here and walked right out just because this Golden Krust is so special, they're don't follow the others.

I have so many issues with this particular restaurant firstly, they never pick up their phone not once in about 100 times I’ve ordered from this restaurant have they ever picked up their phone. When I order on DoorDash 70% of the time, my items are incomplete. I totally understand if a restaurant doesn’t have an item in stock, but I am never informed about it or refunded, I would have to go through DoorDash support and after multiple complaints they’ve stopped refunding me. Any restaurant that does any form of deliveries should always have a number for customers to call it should be a requirement at this point.

And playing loud obnoxious music late hours after closing with no respect for the homeowners in the area. They allow their cook to do this and the owner lives right next door to the restaurant. I was very disappointed this morning. I used to buy their porridge, on a regular, from the 8th Ave store in the city in Midtown. It was nice and creamy. You can pour it out with no problems. This morning, I got something that had the texture of grits. NASTY 🤮. It had a ton of lumps, I needed a spoon to pour it out. It didn't look like it had any milk in it. Never again. Not to mention, they NEVER answer the phone, no matter what time of day. One time, I sat outside until 7:15 a.m., and they hadn't opened yet.

First of all the young miss they have there working in the morning have no customer service she seems angry with the world, I came there to get breakfast this morning and it was no good, if the breakfast is finish all u need to do is say so don’t sell people wat lef for their money. First I ordered butter beans and food she hurry up and close the plate I didn’t get to see what it looks like then I came back to order a callaloo plate and the young lady scraping the wat lef from the pot selling me which was dry I told her if that’s all she have lef I don’t want it then gona tell me that’s a small size. I told her I don’t want that. Then when I got home look in the plate she sell me which was the butter beans and fish it was so dry there was no fish it’s mostly beans I could never eat that I wasted my money. You can’t sell people wat lef that’s not nice people work hard for their money to just throw it away like that. She have no customer service she needs to stay in the back and wash some pots instead.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I NEVER GIVE REVIEWS But today was the finale straw. The customer service from the women who works there (conduit, near mcdonald’s) is disgusting. They always have the most disgusting attitudes. You say morning, afternoon, evening NOTHING. And when they do speak (only to tell u how much your food is) its nothing but attitude and eye rolls. And I mean this is not the first, second, or third time this has happened. At first my son (16) told me how rude the women were to him and I thought maybe because it’s near a school the kids may be alil annoying but then when I went it’s the same rudeness. And it’s not just 1 or 2 different women it’s all of them. The reason I go to this one is because it’s close and my kids love their pattie’s. But I tell you I will never spend another dime of my money here I WILL NOT. And I will be reporting these specific establishment to the Better Business Bureau.
