This place is small but their drinks are delicious 😋 my first time here and I ordered the #23 which had the yogurt in it which was yummy! This place doesn't have a big selection but it good. Try them out fir yourself. Nice little treat!
We always come here for che(vietnam desserts) whenever we come back to LA. Locally owned small business that deserves all the praise and business it can get. You can't go wrong with anything here but my favorite is the number 24 because I like coconut water over coconut milk. One time we didn't have any cash on us and they didn't accept cards back then. The owner gave us our drinks for free. We made sure to come back the next day to pay them back even though he told us not to. Great drinks run by great people who just want to serve the community. Highly recommend.
I recently discovered Che Hien Khanh on Eat LA and decided to visit today. This place offers the most comprehensive selection of Vietnamese sweet desserts in the entire San Gabriel Valley (SGV). For those unfamiliar, "chè" is a Vietnamese term for traditional sweet beverages, dessert soups, stews, or puddings. These desserts can be served hot or cold, often enjoyed with a spoon over ice in a glass. Chè typically has a gelatinous and gloppy texture, and each region of Vietnam offers its own unique varieties based on local tastes. Whenever we visit Vietnam, we indulge in chè, especially with ice to combat the hot weather--it's the perfect remedy. Che Hien Khanh, located inside the Great Wall Supermarket food court, is one of the most popular dessert shops. During our visit, we tried the coconut jelly chè, mung bean dessert, and some chè mochi. The flavors were very authentic and reminiscent of the desserts we enjoyed in Vietnam. The prices at Che Hien Khanh are reasonable, as we only paid $10 for two bags full of chè. Additionally, the staff were very friendly, making the experience even more pleasant. If you're in the area and craving authentic Vietnamese desserts, I highly recommend stopping by Che Hien Khanh.
I had the pandan mung bean che with basil seed and it was great! The service was super nice and it was really fast, It tasted super and the packaging was great for to go!
This Che spot offers a diverse range of desserts. I tried a couple and was impressed by how good they were! What stood out to me was the perfect level of sweetness. These are the desserts I ordered: - Che Thai (fruit cocktail) - Che Ba Mau (three-color dessert) - Banh Flan (egg flan) - Banh Da Lon (steamed pandan cake) I’m relatively new to the Che scene and not speaking Vietnamese, I wish there were clear labels for each item. The staff was very helpful and answered all our questions. The location is inside the Square Plaza Food Court, with tables available on a first-come, first-served basis. Ample free parking is available in the plaza.
Can I get a Hail Mary! The desserts here are legit and truly authentic. I love that there’s a picture dictionary to help describe what everything is. Very reasonably priced and fresh. I’ve been coming here for several years now. Harlem kitchen is awesome too!
He must be the owner, tall, kind, gentleman, whom recommended the two drinks for my sons instead of their original ordered of Thai tea drinks because he noticed my two boys look under 16. "Caffeine is not good for your age, and I recommend you my two most popular drinks that young kids like, #22, 23." He even offered a complimentary drink since one of my sons was hesitant to try #23, the yogurt drink. My son did like it. Thank you! No one was has to do that but you went out of your way to tell them what's better for their age, and I great appreciate that. We will come back again. I like the pandan mung bean drink. And the Thai tea is very good too, for adults 😁🙏🏼🥰
This place is way better and cheaper than that new place da vien Cafe bake n che
The line goes pretty fast, and the service are in orderly manner. Lots of options, and the dessert taste really great👍🏼👍🏼
An amazing assortment of Vietnamese desserts (chè). Very good price and tastes wonderful. Freshly made

My kids and dad love this place. Always have healthy traditional Vietnamese sweets. The corn, white bean, banana che are a hit. We love the steamed and baked bananas. The sweet rice and savory rice plates are delish. The ladies are sweet and patient. It’s just hard to hear them becuase of the noise in the food court but that’s typical.
very delicious and accessible Vietnamese desserts! they accept credit cards so it is very simple to buy here.
Friday 5/30/25 After dinner desert at Che Hien Khanh with my friend Erwin. We ordered the Thai desert. It really hits the spot with the awesome taste full of high quality ingredients. We loved it. David Young Restaurant Enthusiast
Super nice owner and great service. I guess we look very confused in front of the counter lol so we got lots of help and recommendations! We ordered drink #22 - loved it! Lots of varieties of ingredients in the drink. A must try. We also ordered three other dessert including pandas coconut cake, cassava cake and black eye peas dessert. Black eye peas dessert has a unique texture - kind slimy but I like it a lot.
All their deserts look really good. We got customized desert drinks and the flavor and sweetness balance perfectly. This is by far the best vietnamese desert store in the LA area.

This is THE place to go for your Vietnamese dessert fix. They've got a wide variety, including xoi, vietnamese flan, and coconut jello. And they do each one REALLY WELL. It's hard to think of another place in the vicinity where you can get all sorts of dessert items at this quality! 10/10
It is now Banh Mi Saigon "Saigon Sandwiches." The sandwiches are decent and reasonably priced. The place is clean and they are fairly quick with your orders.

This place sits in a food court of a small strip mall which included small novelty shops and a supermarket. The desert is good, service is nice and quick. The environment itself though is something left to be desired. Parking is big but so busy that's it a pain to find parking almost anytime of the day. The parking spaces themselves are not friendly to anything bigger than a sedan so prepare for that. I don't really like the atmosphere here but I do go and get my deserts togo and I'm happy with that.

Cash only cafe that sells Vietnamese dessert (che). Got some steamed cassava and durian flavored sticky rice, which is skimpy on the durian flavor so it just tastes like mung bean rice.

The deserts were bomb but when the older lady was taking my order when I asked for no ice she gave me the rudest look ever

I ordered a dessert drink from here and was happily eating it at home. Suddenly felt an odd texture, spat it out, and it turned out to be a strip of metal. Luckily I didn't swallow or choke on it. I called the store to inform them about this, and they were extremely apologetic and offered to give me another drink if I stopped by again. It's unfortunate this happened, but their response seemed sincere, so I'm still giving them 5 stars for service.
