Opinions de Himalayan Indian Cuisine Roseville
We were in the area during lunch and pass by the restaurant so we decided to try it out. We arrived around 12:30pm and were seated immediately. There are Indian menu and Indo chinese menu so we tried both. - Butter chicken: good. Although the bowl looked small, it had big chunks of tender chicken pieces. The gravy was creamy and it was more tomatoey for my liking (but it was still tasty!). - Garlic naan: perfectly baked a bit crispy yet still soft. There were lots of garlic on it so it was delicious! - Chicken pan fry momo: good. The momo pieces were big and juicy. The wrap wasn’t too thick and the filling was full. The dipping sauce compliments the momo beautifully.
The BEST Indo Chinese food I have ever tried in USA. Been missing the authentic flavors from India but Everest Restaurant put an end to that search. Tried the Fried Rice, Veg Manchurian and Veg Noodles. Everything was delicious. Loved every bit of it. If you live in the Sacramento area and crave proper Indo Chinese food, you have to check this place out
What a hidden gem! This local Nepalese restaurant offers an incredible food with authentic and vibrant flavors. The momos were perfectly steamed with delicious filling, and the curry had just the right amount of spice. While it’s not a 3-Michelin-star establishment, the place is clean, well-organized, and has a warm atmosphere. If you’re looking for a true taste of Nepalese cuisine, this spot is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
Really enjoyed everything here. The veg pakora, pan friend chicken mom and fried rice was our favorite. The service was also outstanding.
Amazing ambiance. Very traditional vibe. Felt connected to the universal cosmo. The chef was amazing. The food was delicious. They are on top of it. Amazing deals. Must try. New top spot to eat.
Truly authentic Nepali and Indo-Chinese food! The flavors and spices are perfect. The service is great. They start you off with a complimentary chai tea and the food is piping hot. We ordered chili chicken and chili lamb momos - both dishes were beautifully flavored inside and out. Lollipop chicken was crispy on the outside and soft inside, served with hot and mild sauces! The main course we ordered the Szechuan chicken chowmein and fried rice - the quantity was plentiful and dishes were made in the authentic Indo-Chinese style. Can’t recommend this place enough! The couple that owns the place are new transplants from the Bay Area and sweet, sincere people! If you are in the area and love Indo-Chinese food - show them your support!
Wow!!! A must try!!! I came across it on Yelp not too long ago and wanted to try it, but it was on the opposite side of town for me. We just happened to get some paint at Sherwin-Williams and saw it. We went ahead and got dinner to go. We got the butter chicken and chicken biryani. We actually ended up eating in the car somewhere which is kind of hard, so I highly recommend eating either at the restaurant or at home. The food was amazing! It was very flavorful and very well balanced. It was so good, my husband and I pretty much ate almost everything even though we were full. The food was very hot (temperature), so be careful taking your first bite. We were asked our spice level too, and requested mild, which it was. For those who are unfamiliar with biryani, be careful of the individual spices, such as a whole peppercorn or cardamom. I've had a biryani I liked somewhat in the Citrus Height area, but it came nowhere close to this one. Also this one is savory with no raisins or nuts. It's not very strong in curry as ones from Indian or other restaurants. My husband commented the butter chicken is a little different from what he's used to from Indian restaurants too, but it's really really good. Better chicken is one of his favorite dishes. I liked it and I'm usually very picky. The person at the cash register was very polite. I think they just opened up at the beginning of this month. I'm sure once word of mouth gets around, they'll be very busy. Even though there was no one at the time we went on a Monday night, there were takeout orders coming out as we were waiting for ours. It's been really hard to find really good food in the area (specifically different types of Asian food) that tastes really good to us and hits the spot. We just really enjoyed the food! We can't wait to go back and try other food. In might be "hard" to find, because the store signage for the name "Everest Chili Pepper" was really small, but the sign for "Indo Chinese Food Nepali's food" is quite large and easy to find. So if you're looking for the store, look for those particular wording. The pictures really does not do it any justice. Again this is our takeout and in our car. It's also an interesting, fun cultural experience too. I highly recommend you try this out! You might be pleasantly surprised! The only cons I can think of right now is that location wise it's not in the newer area of Roseville. Also the pricing might be considered a little high around $16 a dish, but the food is well worth it.
We had Lamb Chili Momo, Cauliflower Manchurian, Chicken Pakora, and Lamb Chow Mein. We also enjoyed a cup of chai. Food is very good, and it came out fast. I enjoyed the lamb momo and lamb chow mein the most. The chicken pakora was very crispy and tender, and the cauliflower manchurian was good.
Good food, fresh and very close to what you can expect from home. Fried momos were very good and crispy. All food was fresh and hot!
This place is a great little find. The food is amazing and the family running this place is so nice and do everything they can to make your experience the best possible.
Everest Chilli Pepper has become my frequent stop for delicious Indian Chinese food. The flavors are authentic and always hit the spot. The momo, in particular, stands out as the best in the market – a must-try! Whether you’re a regular like me or a first-timer, the tasty offerings here won’t disappoint. Highly recommended for anyone craving fantastic Indian Chinese cuisine!

New Nepalese restaurant by I-80 with great momo. Chowmin also taste great. Lamb momo is special. Internal seating vive is good. Newly opened indo Chinese restaurant with friendly patrons.
Our new favorite go to place for Indo-Chinese food. The people here are very friendly. Few of our favorites are veg momos, chilli chicken and fried rice.
Ordered take out here and the food was all so good. We ordered the Tikka Marsala, Lamb Korma, Biryani, and Naan and Butter Chicken. Everything was very flavorful and the chicken was tender and juicy. The Biryani was very spicy, just the way my wife likes it. Would definitely come here again. One of the better places we ate at within the Roseville/Granite Bay area.
Very Delicious Food! There is a huge variety of dishes. Everything I have had so far is very good. The MoMos, lolipop chicken, chow mein noodle I recommend!

The best vegetable pakora I have ever eaten and then the momos and curries are just delicious. Seems like a well kept secret but I want to make sure it gets the patronage it deserves. Very delicious food.
Food is excellent, one of the best Indo Chinese cuisine in the area. The prices are reasonable too. We tried the Chilly Fish and it was great. Highly recommended.
Great customer service, never been here before and the gentleman at the counter helped me pick from the menu since it was my first time. Food was hot and fresh, and was amazing. Great beer aswell. Thank you!

Our family has never tried Nepalese food before. It was pleasantly delicious from the Momos, showmen and the delicious Manchurian Chicken. The service was great and the family who owns it seems very sweet. We are very surprised it wasn’t busier inside. Everyone should definitely try this place at least once. We will definitely be coming back.
Momos are the speciality, food is a bit greasy. Overall good to try once in a while but not go every week
We ordered Veg fried rice, veg chowmein and dry cauliflower Manchurian. Food was great and pretty economical. The portions are huge, so order accordingly.

The place feels tacky, the food was horrible, probably the worst Nepali food I have had in united states, the server was sweet and nice though. We had chicken momo, chowmein, nepali thali and lassi. Thali was worst, not authentic, I was amazed on how nepali restaurants can’t even serve decent momos, momo was horrible too. The dough looked watery, uncooked, the way the food was served, it looked really bad, not thought well, just plated and served. Chowmein was okay but not that good. So many rooms for improvement.
