Update 2024: They were really busy but incredibly nice and even though I had a large order were patient with me. The food was perfect and they gave us ketchup and sauce without asking, we really appreciated it! The coolest thing was that the workers were having a good time as a crew and laughing with one another.
I've been coming to this location for over 10 years and initially I wasn't always impressed with the service. However, recently I was provided service by Sam who was absolutely excellent. I got my regular grape cream slush which is always an excellent treat late night. After a long day of work. Sam provided an 11 of 10 for customer service and was an absolute delight. Hope to see you again. Sam!
Tons of interesting menu items (though not the healthiest) chicken sandwiches are actually the size you expect and he milkshakes are real and that's really all you need to know hahaha but seriously, great customer service and would come again. Th ask for the first time
I LOVE Sonic! This location is easy to get to. They had flowers on the tables outside. I used drive thru. No cars ahead of me, quick service. Employee was very nice. Good, hot, fresh food!
I hadn’t been to Sonic in a while, partly because there isn’t one near me, but last night we made the drive from Highway 50 to 80 at the request of my girlfriend. When we arrived, the line was short, and the service was fast. We went through the drive-thru but ended up pulling over to eat because the food smelled so good and we were hungry. While moving our drinks to the back of the car, I accidentally punctured the bottom of my cherry limeade cup, which resulted in a sticky mess in the cupholder. I went to the service desk, and Paul was just coming out the door. He told me he’d be right with me and was extremely friendly and courteous. Instead of just handing me paper napkins, he gave me super absorbent cloth-like napkins that made cleaning up the mess much easier. He was also kind enough to replace my drink. Paul’s excellent customer service and the friendly staff made a lasting impression. Highly recommend this location!
Service is actually pretty good and fast. Atmosphere is getting better throughout the months iv been going.
This was our first time here and we loved it. We loved that you pull up to the order board and get to check out what you want, for me I'm very indecisive so this was just perfect. We order 2 combo meals and shared a Reeces sonic blast. Everything was delicious and the young lady who helped us and brought us our was excellent wish I get her name. We will return with our whole family.
The food wasn’t too good but I talked to Cameron who was the one who brought our food to us he was very polite and understanding and let me know he was going to talk to someone about it. Immediately the manager, Bradley came out and talked with us about the food and was very professional and even offered us fresh food and gave us Sundaes. I am very pleased with the end result which is all that matters, I will go back because of how the situation was handled. Thank you Cameron and Bradley for your Customer service!! Keep up the good work and you guys will draw customers to your business because of the service!! Again thank you!!
Everything was reasonably priced and the bellhop(I think that's what they're called) was pretty nice 👌, the only problem was two other patrons. One was smoking next to my car, so I had to move if I wanted to breathe, and the other was playing his music way too loud.

Had great service here this evening. Went through the drive-thru. It was posted on the order box they are short-staffed so asked for patience, but it was still pretty quick getting thru! The gentleman working at the window was very kind, happy, and quick! I believe his name was Samuel per our receipt, but not sure if that was his name. (He had an accent). Best service I’ve ever had at a Sonic! Thank you!
Last of the affordable fast food chains. Ordering from the app creates all kinds of hook up deals. Even free burgers and others!! Can't beat it. Food is pretty good and drinks are one of a kind with half off ordering from the app. I'm still sipping on my 44! Brain freeze!!! So good!!!
Well, I have only been to Sonic once before and now a second time. I got a milkshake. It was good . The service was good. Not amazing, not bad, just good. Very... satisfactory. So, my expectations were not unreasonable, just standard. And my expectations were met. I think that earns 5 stars ... met expectations....

I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area. 1000 times better than the one on roseville rd.
My husband and I ordered at the Sonic Drive-In in Rocklin, CA for the first time. My husband ordered the foot long with chilli and cheese and chili cheese fries. I had the American dog with onion rings. All of the food was hot in fresh. Customer service was great! The stalls where you order your food were clean.

I had a great experience thanks to Brenda! The food came out hot and delicious, the bathrooms and lobby were spotless, and the whole atmosphere felt welcoming. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, and Brenda stood out for being especially respectful and helpful. She made the visit feel extra positive with her great service.
The fries & tots are tasty & crispy. The burgers are huge and good. But we all know the real reason we come to Sonic - THE SLUSHIES!!! They are out of this world amazing. So many flavors and so many add in ingredients you can't go wrong!!! Love Sonic ❤️ 😍
Finally, I visited Sonic Drive-in in Roseville. It was an amazing experience with the drive-up stalls and electronic touch screen order board. With this board, includes a credit card pay. Just touch, input your card and whala, your order will be walked out by an employee with your food. if you want to stay and eat in your stall, you can. The environment reminds me of a drive-in movie theater. I can imagine children, teens and family gatherings here. On Thursdays, they offer a buy one, get a second for free Coney Dog for $6.49 and do not need a code. Also, the Oreo cookie chocolate hand made shake was yummy. The service was great and memorable. Was very happy with the dirty sodas they have,the food was not the best but we didn't go there for the food really. The bathroom and outside needs to be repaired and cleaned how ever. Looked kinda like a truck stop. Definitely go for the dirty drinks but don't use the bathroom lol

The Sonic out on Pleasant Grove is good. The new one on Antelope Rd..AVOID it at all cost! They don't have their act together yet. First time there, it was taking hour to a hour and half to get your food.
We love Sonic! You have to go in understanding it’s providing fast-food at affordable prices. Recently stopped in for chicken queso wraps, mozzarella sticks, and a Route 44 cherry limeade. All the food arrived quickly, hot, and tasty as always! It’s the perfect stop if you’re looking for a quick snack, we’ll return.
3/23//23 Food is fresher and wait time is good. Never received my receipts for order. Not sure why? 08/06/2010 edit: what happened to the mints with each order. Last couple times there were no mints in the bag. Great service and experience. Food is good but hit or miss if the fries are fresh. Lately they have been warm and stale.

Got our children the all American $6 burger meals and they enjoyed them. My kids are picky and they all got their burgers different ways and everything was perfect when we got them. The staff was friendly and kids said the food was good.
Have not had Sonic in 20 years. Last time was in Texas. Now it's in my state, but 2 hours from my city. Since I was up here, I gave it a try. I think it taste better then and 34.00 for 2 burgers, 2 lemonade and fries was a bit excessive.
Second time coming here, and I have gotten good service. I have ordered through the app, and my order is always correct. The waiting time is fast, I have never had to wait long to get my order. Food is pretty good overall. The chicken sandwich is pretty good, but the chicken club toaster tastes better. The groovy fries are a bit too greasy. Their Ched R peppers are perfectly cooked and are actually pretty delicious. Their pretzels are a bit salty, and the cheese that gets provided with the pretzel compliments the saltiness. Everything melts in your mouth perfectly 👌🏻. Lastly, I LOVE that their Sodas are in a styrofoam cup. 💕
My experience here today was good no issues or problems except I asked for no onions or tomato and it might of gotten over looked by accident. We thought we had a simple enough order to get it quickly and accurately. They had employees running around trying to find cars who made large orders then bailed on the ticket. It was packed. I feel like this is obviously poor Management and lack of staffing for a Sunday night I mean there's no way this is a fluke. It took 35 minutes to order then 20 to get our food. We saw multiple employees come pick up there checks and pull in a broken stall smoking. I feel like the energy you want and Truly expect from A Super Sonic Day kind of place was not there. The servers didnt have a peep in her step or bring condiments. I paid to upgrade to a route 44 because they were out of large cups and my drink was made poorly. The ocean water taste purely like club soda and we figured this at our after asking for condiments and or missing food. We asked for a replacement but she didn't have time to take it or get another so we left before demanding a refund. It's tough to be upset with staff when the night was clearly going poorly. A better attitude all around would have totally changed the energy, and about double the staff and management. I hope this post doesn't go unnoticed especially for the workers who needed more leadership that night. You could tell it was a tough one.
The order taker and server were polite and did a good job. The breakfast burrito is a joke, was about 3 to 4 inches big, really for $8.50... not worth it. All of the other food tasted like the oil it was fried in. Won't be going back.
So, the food is good. I ordered a hamburger, onion rings and mozzarella sticks. Sonic has the best onion rings- they taste like state fair onion rings! BUT I asked for ketchup and mustard. They serve at the drive thru window gave me a handful of packets. I told her I only needed a couple. She responded and said "they're all like that sorry. They're all just stuck together". The packets were sticky and dirty. Yuck.
It was hit and miss, the burger was good the pickle fries were a little underdone maybe The mozzarella sticks weren't melty... The service was fine, the facility was clean. I guess the term might be "underwhelming" 😕
I've never been super impressed with the food itself, it's fairly average for fast food. It's more about the drive in atmosphere.
I expected to see people on skates and the food was about a 7/10. Very thin chicken patty.
Honestly, the service here was okay. It wasn't the best, but wasn't terrible either. So, when you pull into any Sonic, they have drive up spots for you to order from. When your ready to order you press a button on the menu board to let them know your ready to place an order. The only complaint I have about the service in particular is that once the button was pressed, it took them a good 4 minutes or so to even acknowledge that it had been pressed. Which was a little frustrating. However, I do want to mention that the location was really packed and super busy. So, it is understandable. The other complaint that I have has nothing to do with the restaurant, service or staff in any way but I do need to mention that it was rather annoying that the location had a ton of teenagers riding around on bikes in their parking lot, doing tricks, and being very obnoxious while doing so. They should do something about this as it's very rude.
Got a slushie and advertised on the window was their happy hour for slushies employee told me they don't do that when it was on their window next to him, he proceeds to stick his head out the window then goes oh.. well it past that time. I told him it ended at 5pm and it's only 3... i don't know if they honored or not.
Let me start off by saying that I love the concept of Sonic. I feel like it's a staple in my summer plans, especially when it gets hot. The Route 44 Strawberry Limeade is my go-to drink, and it's something my boyfriend and I look forward to after a day in the sun. HOWEVER, I have never had so many issues with one Sonic. Since May, we have visited six or seven times, and I have only received the correct order twice. Mind you, once we bring up the mistake to the workers, they do correct it right away. But my problem is that it's never a big order, it's two drinks and maybe a shake or something. But only two out of the seven times we've gone, have we been given the correct order. It seems that more mistakes are made the later we've gone, which I understand because the workers are probably tired. But I would like to think that getting a Limeade and a Dirty Rootbeer is not that complicated.
Great slushies, but holy shit the smash burger i got from there, might have been the worst burger I've ever eaten. 3 super dry patties, with way too much American cheese on it.
The food is terrible, its bland, badly made and not fresh... But the desserts are top notch for the price. Highly recommend on a hot late night and you want to get a slushie or a milkshake 😋

Wife got the chocolate brownie Sonic blast. Not close to enough brownie flavoring/pieces. The health Sonic blast was good. Inconsistent amount of flavoring bits. Order time was a bit long too, not horribly long though.
We parked in a drive-in spot. After I press the button somebody through the speaker asks what I want. I ordered two shakes, a side of hot fudge, and a pretzel twist. Absolutely no response on the other side. After 3 minutes I asked can You hear me? The dude says we don't sell hot fudge by itself. I said okay no hot fudge then. Then without repeating my order back he gives me the total $20. It was a very weird interaction. Then 20 minutes later we got our three items brought out to us. So the service is weird and the service is slow and the food is just fine. This is exactly a three-star experience. And before someone asks me if I want to escalate this to the owner...... I do not. All these reviews are saying the same thing maybe you should stop asking people to escalate it to the owner and just fix it......Or don't, I don't care. If you want to be treated nicely and get your amazing inexpensive food quickly go to In-N-Out.

Down to 2 stars from 5: They have slower than slow service and can't get anything right. It has been going downhill over time and not recovering. Started strong under new management. I feel like a high school student is running the place for work credit class at school. If there are more than three cars in the stalls or two cars in the drive thru, don't expect timely service. Previous review: Simply put, I love this place. It's worth every penny. Food is great everytime I go and their service keeps getting better. All of the carhops wear skates and this is a big deal because that's what people expect at a drive in. If you haven't been, GO!
I'm torn. They have the most consistently AWFUL service. Expect it to take at least half hour even if your the only car. However, when they do make the cheeseburgers fresh to order, they are the best hamburgers ever. Service is so consistently awful that I've started skipping them. Warning, don't pay with your card at the order kiosk or your stuck. I've tried to order hamburgers in the middle of the day, only to sit for half hour and have them bring me some cold shriveled up hockey puck,send it back, and get yet another one exactly the same. Then...wait another ten minutes for a credit with no apologies. They acted as if I was the problem. I waited a week, went back and had same thing happen. What they do is try to cheat their own system. They take your order and then..to make it LOOK like they have a fast service time, they tell the system the food was delivered. It creates complete chaos and losing orders etc ...It's the only place my nephew eats so I put up with it for our visits but watching them do it all summer was mind-numbing.
Went through the drive-thru the staff must have fell asleep or something because it took about 15 minutes to get somebody to take the order of the food.. and the burger just had a bunch of onions I could not eat it. How to throw it away. I will never go back to this Sonic again. 😣
Service wasn't great. Way overpriced. $20 for two people. Burger was cold. Texas toast tasted like foam. Got the wrong side with my meal. No napkins, no receipt. I'm not picky but it's the first meal in a long time I'd actually describe as disgusting. I've been to Burger Kings with better food. And for whatever copy-paste response this might get from the corporate employee that checks these reviews, I don't care about escalating my feedback. I know I won't get a refund and the store will never hear about it.
We came there today around 2:15pm to just get 3 drinks. We decided to use the drive thru , we were told over the speaker that they would be right with us. Well 15 minutes later waiting for the person to come back and take our simple order, they never returned. The cars were piling up behind us. I spoke again into the speaker but no answer. We then pulled up to the window and nobody there to help. We then proceeded to leave and never return. I wonder how this place operates.
We ordered 3 drinks, before we got inside our home, every single lid popped off of the drink, and then the cup broke, and we dropped the drink. I’m sure it was user error, however 3/3 when 3 separate people were carrying the cups, seems unlikely, statistically speaking.
My orange slushie was melted and my fries were cold. As I'm at the drive thru there were loud employees arguing one was a lead. And two hours before closing they stopped accepting mobile orders or orders at the pull up and only drive thru was offered. The person that came out to tell me was very rude. I will only go to yuba city or woodland in my vicinity but not Roseville.
We just had sonic yesterday and guy didn’t give my mom her receipt and when she came home she noticed onion rings were missing. Mozzarella sticks were hard, and chicken tenders were hard. Things could have been better as it was my birthday and we decided to go to ours in Citrus Heights but wasn’t open yet.
This is the second time I've been over to order the pickle burger/tots/drink combo. The first visit everything was great but this time it sucked. Burger was overcooked, I got 13 tots and it didn't even come close to filling the dish they came in and didn't give me but very few onions I requested . And the drinks were almost a water consistency and I didn't get what I could tell were extra bobos.
This used to be a place I was excited to go to on the occasion I happened to be over in the Roseville area, but tonight was just a terrible experience. First I ordered my food on the mobile app. It told me to go find a stall and then enter the number of the stall. So I parked in one and to the left outside the driver's side window there was a number, so I entered that. Sorry, that number is unavailable (there was a car to my left, maybe they used that number?). Then I used the number that was ahead of my car to the right next to the other vehicle's driver's side window. Sorry, that number is ALSO unavailable. I went to an empty spot, and both numbers I can see were being used somehow? So then the app says if I want to pick it up on foot that I should walk to the window. There is no window to walk up to! And not only that, we are getting a crowd of people at the one door that employees are coming in and out of trying to deliver food. And the sidewalk area outside of the building is sticky with spilled drinks, so I got to bring THAT into my car, which was fantastic.. To top it off, there was another guy waiting there that was saying he'd been sitting at a spot for a good 30 minutes before his food arrived, and it arrived cold. I don't think I will ever come to this location again. It's just not worth the drive anymore.
This was my first time at this Sonic location. The staff that took our order and brought out the food was friendly and had a terrific attitude. Major plus. But we encountered some hiccups. The menu card payment screen was broken. So when our food came out, we were told that we can pay in cash or card. Not knowing if she had a point of payment reader with her which I did not see one with her, we paid in exact cash. No big deal. We ate in our car on the spot. We ordered a cheeseburger, hamburger, and a fountain drink. The food came out pretty darn quick. So quick, they did not bother to heat up the burger patties. The patties were cold and dry, not even lukewarm. That was a major disappointing big deal.

I drove passed with a nostalgic memory of a Cherry Limeade and turned around... because I had not yet eaten anything. So, it wasn't hard to give in to an 'all beef hot dog (whatever that means...), remember I felt nostalgic. Well, the cherry limeade was not as I remembered and I'm pretty sure Chicago did not authorize use of their name associated to whatever that soggy, lukewarm mystery meat with cold condiments that Sonic is calling a 'Chicago Dog'. Have not been to a Sonic in years. Stopped by here today at around 2pm for a late lunch. Almost all the stalls were full and a small line at the drive thru. We ordered at Stall 22 and the display board was very dirty making it difficult to see. The order taker on the speaker was difficult to understand. We could see after a while order was ready and would be out. Five minutes passed so I went to inquire. I was told it would be right out. Yousef delivered our food and left. We started looking at the food dropped off and it wasn't right. I looked at the receipt and the order was for Stall 12. I took all the food and drinks back and they had to search for our order. Finally the food was delivered but was missing my wife's food. Looking at the receipt it wasn't there. The cold brew coffee was terrible. I ordered the Big dill cheese burger. Wasn't too bad, but they could of done a better job at the care of making it. Half the cheese was stuck on the wrapper along with the sauce and lettuce. They have a lot to work on here.
We pull into the drive through at 1am and waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the speaker. The girl speaking was a bit rude but then when we ordered a burger she asked if it’s okay that the onions are raw because she didn’t want to turn on the grill.. left us questioning how did they cook the burger if they aren’t using the grill?? When we got our food it was cold and stale, so I assume we just got the leftovers. Very dissatisfied. Do better.

I don't know why I even bothered going back to try to give them another chance after the last time I had issues. The store never wants to answer their call regarding issues, management doesn't even bother acknowledging their customer service issues, clearly this branch needs new ownership. I went back and ordered 4 drinks on the app, the runner delivered my drinks. I asked which one was the cherry limeaid and which one was the cranberry limeaid. His response: "I don't know, you will just have to try it and find out" then he walked away. Absolutely worthless.
My grilled chicken was gross it had black burnt stuff on it. But everything else was good. I love their cherry limeades. Editing because we were in the area and decided to try it out again. I got the #4. I didn't like it. The quality of the burgers itself is worst than buying frozen burgers and making them yourself at home. Not this location in particulars problem, sure. The pretzel hot dog was very good. My fries were cold which I should have expected that since our food came out super quick. The biggest disappointment of all was my cherry limeade tasted super watered down and no lime flavor. Maybe next time...
I saw what looked like a manager yelling at two other employees during some type of meeting. Always rubs me the wrong way to see managers mistreat the ones doing the actual work
I never leave reviews but I thought people should know they should avoid this place. Ordering spot smelled like pee. The guy cut us off before he finished taking our order. We had to go in to tell them we were not finished telling him our order. After waiting 15 min for our food I went back to check on our order but it wasn't ready. When they finally brought our order out the food was cold and we were missing food. Even drinks were wrong.
I feel like this had to be done on purpose. I ordered 2 grilled cheeses one for me one for my son. Luckily the first one was good and that was the half i have my son. When I opened mine there were onions in grilled cheese. Idk if someone was trying to be funny but my son is allergic to onions. If I give him that other sandwich something very bad could of happened. Please be better, thats not funny.
So I don’t know if this is a trend or if it was possibly the night. But I show up at 12:06AM to pick up an order and some dinner. 20 minutes go by and nothing. I had a feeling we were forgot about. I push the red button, and turns out we were forgot about. Okay. I get it, short staffed, whatever. Another 30 minutes goes by and nothing at all. So I literally pull up to the drive thru window and mention I’ve been there for an hour, and was told to go up to a stall because I was forgotten about basically. Yet again…. Luckily I was in a decent mood and I don’t know how the day went for this particular Sonic. But I would say, this was pretty bad, and I’m hoping it was an isolated incident.
I went for a milkshake and it was ok but nothing great, to much sweet. The burger was bad, the fries were made on a really old oil and they were over done. Don’t recommend.
Serving cold food and a melted shake in 50 degree weather is crazy...but staff is friendly
Just had to wait 45 minutes on the drive-thru to get my food. Such a terrible place and the owner doesn't want to have more labors to make it faster.
20 minutes waiting for my order to be placed after pressing the order button only to have my attempt order dismissed. When I pressed button again at two minutes of twelve midnight I was told I needed to go thru the drive thru. The food here is great just don't like having been dismissed like that. This isn't the first time to have this happen! Really hope they get together in the future!!!
Stuck at the drive-thru this Saturday for 20 minutes without it moving this place is horrible.

Ordered 2 blasts from kiosk, screen asked me to pay. Card machine wasn't working or something. No big deal, screen said it was in the kitchen being made. Waited 10 minutes and the screen no longer said it was in the kitchen. Pressed the button again and asked if the machine lost my order, guy said 2 blasts? Yes, should be right out. Waited 15 more minutes, nothing, 2 other cars that arrived 10 minutes after me got their food. Got the runners attention & let them know we've been here for almost 30 minutes. Sweet girl said she'd check on it. Waited another 5 minutes & she brought out our blasts, they both were basically vanilla with a dusting of candy. Very disappointing, someone else will get my money from now on.
Ordered a chicken sandwich and 2 bites into it, I looked down and noticed mold on the bun which I had already eaten part of! The worker was nice and did refund a small portion but I ordered almost $60 worth of food for my family and after seeing the mold, all of us lost our appetite. Will not be returning to sonic
Hi. I am writing this to inform whoever is in charge of this establishment about how nasty, rude, embarrassing your employees and staff is here at the Pleasant Grove location. This happened October 10, around 11pm. As my boyfriend ordered, a small cherry limeade, and a large order of mozzarella sticks , we were told to pull forward as we would get the total at the window. We finally got up to the window, very slowly the cashier, greeted us with the total only, did not repeat back the order like a cashier should. You can loudly hear another employee LOUD in the back, screaming, and cussing every other word. (She was so loud, that we could hear her as we were sitting behind another car in line.) I understand mix up happens, I’m a manager at a local food place as well. But the behavior of your staff was beyond disrespectful. The same cashier that you could hear yelling, and cussing, ended up talking about how they(the workers) messed up, but trying to make it seem like we were the problems, as you can hear her as loud as possible say “Well no one told them to pull forward!!” (When in fact we were told to pull forward) She then came to the front , and you can see said cashier and hear her more loudly, still talking about us, as another cashier had to jump in and tell her that we are still at the window and can hear her. Its a shame to have someone like that work for you, it says a lot about how you run your business without even meeting you. The employee or third party worker, that was there fixing something or whatever, looked extremely uncomfortable as he had to listen to this foul experience as well. I will be waiting for my refund, as I was charged twice. If my refund is not processed, I will be coming back in store to get said refund. I don’t care if it was $8 or $80. I hope this email reaches good hands. This was truly an awful experience. The worst experience at this sonic, as we frequently come here.
I'm very disappointed in the management at the Roseville Sonic. I've visited this Sonic location four times recently, and each time I've been concerned by the way a particular employee is being treated. It seems like the other employee's are targeting her with what I can only describe as bullying. Yesterday, I saw a male employee hit the targeted employee on the back of the head, supposedly "playing" around. It looked too rough, and the targeted employee seemed upset. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any workplace. While the food and service are usually good here, this kind of environment makes me hesitant to return. I hope management takes steps to address this situation and ensure a safe and respectful work environment for all employees. To the employee being targeted: If you see this review, know that you don't deserve this treatment. There are resources available to help. Literally the worst food I have ever had. And the worst service as well. The girl who took my order wouldn’t answer my question about what comes in my meal. I asked several times, she then said, “no, you have to order it all separate.” I did end up ordering everything as she said I needed to, and then when I revived my meal- I had ended up getting double sides. Also, everything was burnt, and greasy... this was the worst food I have ever ate, and it was very expensive. Like, I could have fed a family of four at in and out, or chick fil a... I will never come back.
Waited over 40 minutes for our food. Saw everyone around us that arrived after get theirs. Food was cold when we got it... They clearly forgot. Not only that but disappointed with the food too... We barely even got any tater tots... It was supposed to be a medium... Barely had any whip cream on the shakes... Totally flat.
We have been to a lot of sonics, this one rates the worst. They don't even deserve the one star. Atmosphere? not even a picture on the wall. No cash, you have to do everything on a screen. No person to talk to. And then the food was terrible. A highly recommended you go to a different place. Not worth the money medium fries LOL yeah, right, All around terrible experience.
I went today around 8:30pm. I tried to order using the machine by the benches. Whatever gentleman was working the speaker was probably the worst worker I've ever come across at any fast food restaurant. I've been here before and always a pleasant experience. We ended up leaving from how bad this dude was. I'm pretty sure he wasn't listening to anything I was saying. Having to say the same thing over and over. Most of what I said he got wrong. 30 seconds to a minute would pass before he would attempt to confirm my order and it was always wrong. Took me 5 minutes to order my daughter's kids meal. Another 5 minutes to order a shake and a mini shake that he kept saying was medium over and over. With my order it was supposed to be a #1 but he put it down as a Chocolate Dough shake or something like that. I have no idea how someone can mistake a number 1 with a chocolate shake. It's clear he wasn't listening and his extremely delayed responses made us leave. I don't even want to come here anymore to not give Sonics my business for hiring such a terrible employee. You can even check my other reviews. I rarely give negative reviews but this one was so bad that I just had to.
Ridiculously long wait and no way to pay. The screen was blank the whole time. Nothing came up on the screen to pay. I was given a total but no way to pay. I had no idea if my food was even being prepared since I didn’t pay for anything. People who came and ordered after me were served first. Eventually I had to order again to ask what I was supposed to do. They said someone would come and I could give them my card or cash. It wasn’t that busy. The stalls were mostly empty and the drive thru had plenty of moments where no one was going through. It took 25 mins to get my food. I could’ve gone and sat down at a restaurant , paid the same amount, and been served faster.
We waited in the drive thru for about 20 minutes with at least 15 of those minutes being spent just sitting at the window because they had a mix up with orders. That happens and is totally understandable, however, there was a huge lack of communication and when there was some it was rude. The guy at the window barely said more than 10 words to us in that whole 15 minutes of us sitting there waiting for some information. We ended up just driving away and not even getting food there because the service was so bad. Would not recommend going here.
I've literally been here a total of 4 times. Every experience was the absolute worst. (Always at night). Hostile environment at my last visit and the"Manager" swiped my card 3 separate times, at 3 different registers, for 3 separate prices... 🤔🧐 And then YELLS AT ME when I tried to address the situation??? So I contact the complaint line with very little luck as I have called a total of three times and been fed the exact same speech every time. Corporate will get a hold of me. But then nobody ever does when I asked you speak to a manager I'm told" I cannot guarantee you you will be able to speak to a manager"?? It has been over 2 weeks and I still have not got my money back is that not theft?
