Great place for large groups. Lunch specials include salad and iced tea. Calzone with sausage & mushrooms was amazing!

*Update* We loved the food so much we just had to come back! It's still an amazing place years later. Great food and great customer service!! It was a good size quantity for the price. I recommend coming here often to try the huge amount of different sauces..

Staff here are super friendly, young, sweet, polite. their happy demeanor made just being here delightful. The ambiance is cozy, small but big enough. We went here, just myself and my hubby for the first time on a Friday night. a friend had recommended it. we arrived at the right time, 6:30 the place was packed. We ordered the appetizer plate with meat, cheese olives. A side plate if their house made fennel sausage and lasagna everything was delish. I had wanted to order the veal short ribs but they were out. So I guess we'll have to come back.😉 #italian #pasta #homemade

I have traveled all over the country and this Italian restaurant is one of our favorites! Home made pasta and home made sauce. You can't get better than that! Every suggestion we got from our waitress was amazing and it was especially fun to watch the pasta being made at the front. We are going back again this week because it was sooooo good!

👍The 6" calzone was huge! Pasta with garlic Parmesan sauce was good. Rosé is $10, but filled to the brim in a champagne glass. 👎We waited a long time to get our check.

New to Round Rock and wanted to find a cute and delicious date night spot, and this place is definitely making its way on my date night rotation. The fettuccine is perfectly made and the sauce is seasoned great. Very vegetarian friendly! They make sure you always have your complementary bread and the workers are friendly! The ambiance is nice as well.

Great lunch spot for yummy pasta! Love their lunch specials, just expect that the service is really slow even when the place is empty. I've gone often with coworkers and the food is consistently wonderful, but it always takes forever.

Marsala Mushroom Cream sauce with chicken and raviolis💗 just amazing! You actually can taste the Marsala in the mushroom. I truly recommend it. Also order chocolate mousse I don't have a picture cause my husband can't stop eating it.

Environment is very nice and rustic, staff so friendly and welcoming. We brought our kiddos and they also loved it. Food was AMAZING! 🤩 Can’t get any fresher and the flavors just burst in your mouth with every bite! We recommend this place 1000% and will definitely be coming back! I usually take pics but I was so anxious to try the food that I forgot to take pics! 😅 Thank you Palermo Team!! 🤗

I highly recommend their ravioli and calzone; both are very large portion and tasty. A great local spot in Round Rock downtown

Very good quality food. I was very pleased with the gorgonzola sauce, and my wife very much enjoyed the pink mushroom sauce she had. The cannolo was also quite good and worth getting--if you have room after all that pasta! The waitress was very friendly and I don't believe our water glasses were ever empty for more than a minute. We will definitely return.

Had a very nice late lunch here, I enjoyed the ravioli with meat sauce. The flavor was well balanced between the pasta and the sauce. Ambiance is a fusion of authentic Texas architecture with hints of Italian decor. I will definitely be returning for casual dinners in the future.

First time here- we were pretty impressed. We liked the ability to chose the pasta and sauce. Lots of sauce options (over 20). I settled on the ravioli with puttanesca. We also shared a pizza with the fennel sausage (prepared in-house). The pizza dough was very soft, almost melted in my mouth. I prefer soft dough to crispy, so the flatbread may be a better choice for some. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere inside was quiet and cozy.

It was our first time at Palermo and we're not disappointed. We had called and made a reservation ahead of time. After getting seated, they brought out our drinks and bread (free). The bread tasted fresh and delicious. It paired well with the olive oil. We ordered three items. 1) Small Calzone. I haven't had such a good Calzone in a long time. It was baked perfectly, the outside was crispy yet soft, really fresh tasting, and had plenty of mozzarella and ricotta cheese. Will be ordering this again with more toppings next time. Came with a marinara sauce for dipping 2) ravioli with pizzaiola red sauce. The ravioli was stuffed with ricotta and spinach, plenty of filling and tasted amazing. The sauce had a nice kick to it, not too spicy, plenty of tomatoes, roasted red peppers, cherry peppers, and seasonings. 3) fettuccine with Alfredo sauce. We ordered the smaller portion of this plate and it was very filling. The pasta tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. Will be coming back again to try all the different pastas and sauces. There is plenty of free parking in the garage just a few feet away from the restaurant.

First time here, it was incredible good!!! I had a wonderful experience my wife and I. Clean family environment and the food is made fresh when you order it. Our server was awesome!! I can not recall his name, but he was the only male server there. I will definitely come back really soon. 11/02/24 4pm thank you Palermo!!!!

Amazing food, I love it the service was amazing our server was super nice and she made sure we had everything we needed. We ordered a pizza and cannoli, both were super good the cannoli was delicious and the pizza was scrumptious. Enjoyed my meal and experience at Palermo pasta house would totally recommend. 10/10 meal.

This place has delicious pasta entrees and delectable warm bread brought right to your table. It is very cozy and feels like a rustic Italian restaurant. They have plenty of delicious Wines you can choose from and the waitress can even give you a good recommendation based on what you want to order. I would not recommend this place for families, mainly because there are a lot of tall wine glasses in a small space. I would definitely recommend this for a date night. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo with Ravioli, the pasta was good, but the sauce was amazing!!

The best pasta I've ever had in my entire life! So so good! The fettuccini Alfredo with spinach cream was perfection! The lasagna was delicious and cooked with lots of love! They don't have ranch for salads but I improvised with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. Can't wait to try their desserts! Thanks for serving the best Italian food and being authentic!!! Also customer service was excellent!!!

Delicious dinner! We had the MEG salad to start, followed by homemade pasta dishes, a couple pizzas, and finished off with a dessert cannoli. This was a fun dinner!

A Culinary Journey to Italy at Palermo Pasta House! From the moment you step into Palermo Pasta House, you're not just entering a restaurant; you're embarking on a delightful journey straight to the heart of Italy. Every detail, from the warm, inviting ambiance to the incredibly fresh and flavorful dishes, sings a symphony of authentic Italian passion. The pasta, oh, the pasta! It's clear that this isn't just made here, it's crafted with love and expertise. Each noodle, whether it's the perfectly al dente fettuccine or the delicate ravioli, is a testament to their dedication to traditional methods. The sauces are equally spectacular – rich, vibrant, and perfectly balanced, complementing the pasta without overpowering it. I particularly loved the Puttanesca, which was bursting with briny capers, ripe tomatoes, and just the right hint of spice. Beyond the incredible food, the service at Palermo Pasta House is truly exceptional. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic, making you feel like a cherished guest rather than just a customer. They are happy to guide you through the menu and offer recommendations, ensuring your dining experience is nothing short of perfect. Palermo Pasta House is more than just a meal; it's an experience. It's the kind of place where you can savor every bite, enjoy lively conversation, and leave feeling utterly content and already planning your next visit. If you're looking for an authentic taste of Italy right here in Cedar Park, look no further. Palermo Pasta House is, quite simply, a masterpiece!

Palermo Pasta House is a go-to for hearty, comforting Italian dishes. The pasta is cooked perfectly, sauces are rich and flavorful, and the portions are generous. The cozy, casual atmosphere makes it a great spot for family dinners or date nights, and the staff is always welcoming

Coffee was excellent, hand made pasta was spectacular (try the Puttanesca if you like red sauce and kalamata olives!) and the service was prompt and friendly. Came here somewhat by accident, but SO glad I did!

If you've never had fresh pasta, you need to try Palermo Pasta House. My wife and I saw this gem on Texas Bucket List, and we knew we had to try it. We live less than 5 miles away. We showed up a little early for the fresh pasta, so we ordered a nice bottle of Malbec, a salad, cheese-olive-salami small plate and an appetizer, meatballs in the Marsala Mushroom Sauce. It was incredible. We also enjoyed some rolls with some balsamic and olive oil. Finally, we made it to 5 pm and the pasta was available. My wife ordered the Arrabiata over Fettuccine. I ordered the Ragu Bolognese over Taglierimi. First, there is a big difference between freshly prepared pasta and store purchased pasta. We knew from the appetizer that the sauces would be well worth the visit and they did not disappoint. Wrapping up dinner. I decided to order a pizza to go. Now, they talk thin crust on the menu, but its not the traditional thin crust you would get at an Italian restaurant. I love comparing the pizzas to Pregos Pasta House on Greenville Avenue in Dallas. That is truly thin crust. The pizzas at Palermo are not really thin. They are typical regular crust pizzas. I reheated the pizza today and I must say, the flavor makes up for the thicker than thin crust issue. Great flavor. If they had the extra thin light crust it would have been perfect by my standards. My wife also wanted a canoli. When she ordered she said cannelloni, so of course we were surprised when another pasta dish arrived. That was our mistake, so we asked to also make that to go and we ordered the canoli. It too was delicious. Update 2024! Same great food and service. I tried their pizza. I typically love thin crust, so this was just regular crust. The pizza was delicious as well. The better half enjoyed her Fettuccine Mushroom Cream Marsala. If you haven't tried Palermo Pasta House, what are you waiting for? Wonderful service, great food good wine list, and understanding staff. You must put Palermo Pasta House on your bucket list.

The Palermo sauce was pleasant. When you order it, they do warn you that it is made with blue cheese. You could hardly taste it and the cream is perfect. It’s worth the risk.

This is by far the best Italian food in Round Rock that I have come across in the 15 years of living in Texas. Mind you I moved here from Brooklyn so I know what real Italian food is. Good job fellas! I had to come back and add to my review I went again with my girlfriend and good Lord this is some good food. I'm an Italian guy from Brooklyn and this is not only the best Italian food in Round Rock but possibly the best in Texas that I've had in 15 years.

This is a beautifully run family own business. We were greeted right away, recieved timely and attentive service. Our waitress, always made sure our waters were filled, check in on us and was super warm, friendly and welcoming. We rarely go to sit down restaurants, since food trucks are fast and convenient but these are the restaurants that make you feel like family and deliver amazing food and service. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

Dinner: I had the fusilli pasta shape and red mushroom sauce and it was soooo good!!! Just the right flavors, taste and texture. I could tell the sauce was cooked with some wine maybe, I'm not totally sure. The veal and pork filled raviolis were even better and with the Bolognese sauce, wow so hearty. I wouldnt get the raspberry creme brulee torte/tart again because it was overwhelmingly raspberry and not really creme brulee tasting. Lunch: Had their happy hour meatball slider, chicken Parm slider, and cheese flatbread. For dessert, we had a traditional pistachio cannoli and dulce de leche cannoli. It was a great lunch all around! I thought the service was friendly and kind and the bread was fresh and warm. The pizza was super cheesy and baked just the right amount. The cannoli was the best we've had in Round Rock so far. This is compared to Milano's, Pizza Delight, and HEB's cannoli.

Great food with amazing flavours. They have a bunch of options for sauces with pasta and a clear menu with pictures for the kind of pasta you can get and ingredients in the sauce. The atmosphere is just ok but the service and food is great, definitely going back.

My wife and I went here today for lunch. It was awesome!! We both got the Pasta Chicken Parmesan With Italian Ham (Breaded chicken breast with Italian roasted ham and tomato basil sauce, topped with cheese). It came with a side of spaghetti. We had gone to Rome earlier this year and this place, reminded us of our trip and all the wonderful restaurants nestled just off the road. Even the quaint interior felt a little like Rome. We will definitely be going back again soon. Both the food and service was excellent today.

The portions were great and the cannoli was the best I ever had. I think the pasta was homemade, too! Very authentic and pleasant patio outside.

I've been wanting to checkout Palermo for awhile and my Uncle's recent visit to town seemed like the perfect excuse to have the family meet there for dinner. We went on a Wed and I got reservations for 6 but it didn't end up being crowded so they weren't really needed. Nice ambience in downtown Round Rock; I've been to the previous few restaurants that were there and this was definitely my favorite. We got meatballs as an appetizer with a few glasses of wine and they also had bread with oil for everyone. To eat, I decided to go a little outside the box from what I'd normally get and got the cream mushroom ravioli. I was waivering on ravioli vs pasta and our waitress said the ravioli was really good which made my mind it. They were filled with meat and were so good. I hardly every eat an entire entree and couldn't help myself this time. My fiance got pasta with peppers and meat and it was also really good. All in all, everyone seemed to really like their meal. Service was great and for the food you get, pricing was pretty good as well compared to other similar options. I can't wait to go back!

Best authentic Italian food place located in the middle of RR downtown. The bread rolls were sooo soft and warm... had to get seconds!! A lot of vegetarian and vegan choices. I tried Fettuccine Alfredo and it was delicious! If anyone is craving Italian food and near RR downtown... I would definitely 100% recommend this place.

Absolutely amazing! The staff was personable and took the time to get to know their tables and provide recommendations. The food was SPOT ON! Absolutely delicious The atmosphere was super cute I loved the display case of their seasonal dessert, the exposed rock wall, and exposed wooden beams. The menu was small but the perfect size because it covered all bases if you didn't want pasta. But the pasta options filled the entire backside of the menu! We have been looking for an Italian place and this is within walking distance of our home so it's perfect. Great for a chill group of friends or a date night. Plus downtown Round Rock is so beautiful this time of year with everything decorated still from Christmas.

I am so happy I found this place. The whole experience was on point. I hade the Chicken Alfredo, and the wife had the Lasagna. The food came out so hot and the ingredients were incredibly fresh. We also had the meat balls as an appetizer and they were so good. For desert we had to try the Canolis, they have two different kinds and let just be real here, how do you choose? So we got one of each. Hands down we will be back and I love that this place made our date night hit just right.

My wife and I recently visited Palermo Pasta House for the second time, and once again, we had an amazing experience. This charming Italian restaurant has quickly become one of our favorite date night spots. From the delightful dishes to the excellent service, everything was top-notch. For our main courses, I opted for the ravioli stuffed with spinach ricotta cheese, accompanied by the scarparo sauce. The flavors were truly exceptional, with the creamy ricotta perfectly complementing the earthy spinach. Each bite was a burst of deliciousness, and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. My wife decided on the spaghetti with carbonara sauce, and it was an absolute winner. The balance of salty bacon and rich egg yolk created a symphony of taste that left my wife craving more. It's safe to say that Palermo Pasta House knows how to master the art of pasta. Our waitress was attentive, checking on us regularly without being intrusive. Her knowledge of the menu and genuine enthusiasm made us feel truly valued as customers. To end our delightful meal, we indulged in the raspberry cheesecake, and it was the perfect finale. Overall, our experience at Palermo Pasta House was outstanding. The quality of the food, coupled with the attentive service, made for a memorable evening.

Sandra was our server today at lunch and she was attentive. Their lunch specials are a great deal and the food is always delicious! I had the caprese salad and meatball lunch special. Note if you order this special, they will come out together with entrees but I'm sure if wait the caprese salad as your first course, they could accommodate you. They have inside seating and a covered patio out back. There's parking in the nearby garage. My friends ordered the lasagna and cannelloni with meatballs. You can easily split checks and pay the server right at the table. Go and enjoy! You'll be back.

First time trying this restaurant * I was a bit skeptical because it’s very unassuming walking in. There was a fun market outside and we figured one try can’t hurt. We shared the spinach salad and each ordered a pasta. I got the ricotta & sausage pizza! Was pleasantly surprised that each item was fresh and delicious. Will be returning for sure! 🤌🏽🍕🍝

A wonderful dining location full of flavors. The sauces were made from scratch and was impressed with the Alfredo sauce. Slight smokey, creamy, and the butter was not overpowering. A yuge cut of chicken, similar to the Texas staple of oversized "chicken fried steaks". Again the seasoning & cheeses complimented well. Exiting flavors of a beautiful raspberry cheesecake, completed our experience.

Posting this while I'm eating, I sat at the bar, me being the only one in my party if you can call it that, and this is just gorgeous. The food is immaculate, the service was fast, the atmosphere is warm, yet high end-ish, and the servers are really nice! Definitely coming back. I will note that if you are not trying to sit at the bar, that there will be a wait. I got the small spaghetti with tomato basil sauce and meatballs, and I would've had an original presentation photo if I wasn't so ready to just dig in :) 10/10 experience!

We went here for lunch after a day at the water park. My niece ordered pizza and said it was "the best" she's had, despite being from the East Coast! I tried her pizza and it was good, if not to my personal preferences. My pasta was absolutely delicious, and I enjoyed the menu where you pick your type of pasta and then decide on which of their many tomato or cream based sauces to order. My friend had basic fettuccine Alfredo, and reported that hers was also delicious. I wish this place were closer, as this was a wonderful experience!

L
Leela Uppuluri

Had an incredible lunch at Palermo Pasta House with friends, and I'm still thinking about how amazing the food was! I ordered the Spinach Ravioli with Creamy Pesto, and wow – the taste was absolutely next level. Every single bite was perfection, and I savored it to the very last forkful. The creamy pesto sauce was rich and flavorful without being overwhelming, and the ravioli itself was cooked beautifully. You can really tell they take pride in their pasta here. With over 28 sauces to choose from, I can't wait to come back and try more combinations! Our waitress was absolutely wonderful – so welcoming and generous with her time as she helped our group navigate the menu and took our orders. Her warm service really added to the overall experience and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, perfect for a casual meal with friends. Yes, the space is small and can get busy (definitely recommend booking ahead), but that's because the food is just that good. It's worth any wait! If you're looking for authentic, delicious pasta made with care, Palermo Pasta House is the place. I'll definitely be returning soon to explore more of their menu. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What a great find. This is a very lovely restaurant in the downtown Round Rock area, just around the corner from a parking garage. The food was wonderful, with several vegan dishes clearly marked on the menu. Plant-based eaters like us can choose from several types of pasta and 3 or 4 sauce choices. It is located in what appears to be Very old building with exposed stone walls and beams, with high-backed booths for a quieter experience than most restaurants these days. The service was great, the wine list was adequate, and the prices were very reasonable. This will certainly be one of our regular destinations!

In town from STL for my birthday. Decided to give Palermo pasta house for my Bday dinner... It was so delicious! I have been craving the chicken alfredo with fusilli noodles ever since! My other half got the Marsala mushroom cream with fettucine noodles and have been craving that as well! The staff was so friendly and welcoming! It will be a must when visiting round rock!!

Palermo house is a must try!!! The authentic Italian pasta here is incredible — I absolutely love this place. The meatballs are delicious, and the antipasto salad was extremely fresh. The 12” pizza was perfect and packed with flavor. The pasta with carbonara sauce and grilled chicken was also really good. We just wish the carbonara had a little more bacon to add a touch more saltiness, but overall, it was still amazing! Our server was Alina! She is so sweet and very knowledgeable of the menu.

Was in the mood for some Italian food and stopped by here as it was the closest to me. I did not have to wait to be seated and service was friendly and on point. Food was so delicious. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs lunch option which came with a salad, I chose a Caesar salad and because food portion was perfect, I even had room for dessert! I had the tiramisu. All the food tasted great!

Enjoyed their menu structure of picking the pasta and then the sauce from a list of white sauces, red sauce, and pink sauces. The fusilli with Bolognese was great. The bread that comes with each meal was good for enjoying the left over sauce. They also have baked pasta dishes like lasagna and chicken Parmesan. I look forward to trying more of their dishes! This restaurant is on the Round Rock main strip with free street parking an two sides and on nearby streets.

This was such an amazing find! So many choices of sauce & homemade pasta. The pasta just tastes so much better when it's made fresh. The lasagna was a huge & we could have shared it. The spinach & ricotta ravioli with the puttanesca sauce was amazing. Also order the side of meatballs because they had such great flavor! The house red wine was delicious. We will be back!

The atmosphere is very classy as if you feel like you’re in Italy somewhere. House made red wine was crisp to the taste. Delicious. Side salad was great and fresh. In fact, everything was made fresh to order. Got the bucatini arrabiata with meatballs. It was so fresh, the sauce delectable, and the Meatballs tender to perfection. All in all great dining experience.

Great little place with a great selection of pastas sauces and pizza calzone that uses a mix and match style of the different choices. Fun way to do it. Had 3 kinds of pasta and sauces and a calzone and it was a lot of food and the prices are not bad. Woukd highly recommend.

My fiancé and I entered as a walk-in and were greeted by a wonderfully kind host who put us down for a table. There was a 30 minute wait where we walked around the local shops during that time. Once our table was ready, we were greeted by a kind waitress who waited on us patiently, answered our questions, and took swift care of us. The food was excellent, cooked just how requested and was absolutely delicious. My only gripe, coming from the deep south, is that they didn't have sweet tea, but they have many other fabulous drink options as well as some beautiful red wines. The bang was worth the buck and we will definitely be returning!

The food at Palermo Pasta House was great flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. The service, however, could use a little improvement, as it felt somewhat slow and unorganized at times. Overall, it’s a solid place for good pasta, and with a bit more attention to service, it could be even better.

I am huge fan of their tomato basil flat bread and I think thats only available on happy hour menu! we dined again for lunch but the flat bread was not the same which was kind of disappointing! They dont have any pizza options as you need to add topings separately on cheese pizza. Overall its a good place and all their pastas are made in house!

M

In my humble opinion, the portion is definitely considered small in Texas for the price. But, considering the pasta and sauces are all made in house and made to order with plenty of customizations, it seems acceptable. The spaghetti was super bouncy. But, the meatballs weren’t incorporated into and simmered with the sauce, so it seemed like a separate dish from the pasta. On the other hand, the chicken appears to be incorporated with the sauce on a different level. I wish there were some more protein/meat options available for customizations. Overall, great experience with flavorful food.

We visited Friday after Thanksgiving and it was not too busy. The food is fine, but that's about all I can say. We've been wanting to try this place for a while because of all the different handmade pastas and sauces and it was good, just not worth a second visit. Hubs got the bucatini, which was wonderful but a surprisingly small portion, with red sauce. I got the ravioli with Scarparo sauce. A tomato cream with pesto and sharp provolone. The sauce was good but a bit muddled in the taste and didn't present very well. It looked like a brown gravy almost but it was tasty and the ravioli portion size was great. The filling on the ravioli was also good. The service was decent but the pre-bread they offer could use an upgrade. The location is fun though, right on a great stretch of Main Street in downtown Round Rock, so there are bars and live music down the street and lots of Christmas lights already up for some great photo ops.

Pricey pasta offerings. All the pasta is made in-house. Portions are comparatively small with meager toppings. The antipasta salad was a disappointing plate of lettuce with barely anything else. Meanwhile, had a great time in the lovely ambience.

This place was great! The happy hour menu was more than enough. We bought a bottle of house red that hit the spot. The flatbread was fresh and flavorful and the Caesar salad was top notch. If you are in town and want to beat the rush I highly recommend happy hour. Once 5pm hit the restaurant started to fill in. The waitress was personable and service just ok. Overall will return for sure!

I enjoyed our cute dinner at Palermo pasta house. Now that I think back on the experience, however I am a little sad because I at first didn’t notice the inconsistencies with the food I ordered. I ordered a custom pasta with the “cream sauce with prosciutto, mushrooms, and peppers” listing prosciutto di parma and roasted red peppers. Now please tell me…. Does my plate look like it has red peppers? What’s even worse, is that was absolutely not prosciutto, it was quite obviously ham, specifically crusted pepper ham the kind you can get from HEB deli. It did not taste like prosciutto, it did not look like it. The sauce was ok, felt a little bland. The other dish we ordered, the creamy pesto, was good and seemed like it had everything the menu stated. The service was quick and consistent, wine and dessert tasty. My caramel cannoli was literally a block of caramel inside. Cannolis are usually cream filled so I expected more of a caramel flavored cream instead. I guess that’s my bad… The atmosphere gave old school Italian. It was nice. I’m just now upset about my dish. Now I did look through other reviews and I noticed that Ive and Lisa ordered identical sauces to me. Their dishes look completely different and it’s so obvious that their plates had prosciutto and the peppers.

Cozy little pasta house in downtown Round Rock. Somewhat unique style of menu when it comes to ordering the pastas. You choose from an array of made fresh daily pastas, sauces, and protein and combine them as you like. Each item has a clear description of the pasta, and sauce making it easier to decide from the many choices. Vegetarian and vegan choices are available and are marked with symbols on the menu. They also offer pizza, salads, small dessert menu, wine and beer. The pasta itself was fresh and delicious and although the sauce was good it was lacking a bit in flavor. Not so much so that I wouldn't give this place another try as it may just have been an off night or my choice in sauce. Also ordered a pizza which was quite tasty. The pizza comes at a base price of $12. You pay separately for toppings. Ordered a side salad which was good, but nothing too remarkable. Cherry tomatoes and fresh mixed greens with 2 salad dressing choices. The complimentary bread with oil and vinegar was delicious! Prices do tend to get up there once you start putting together your meal, but portion sizes and quality do reflect the price. Ordered a Dulce De Leche, and original style Cannoli to go and they were absolutely delicious! Definitely worth the extra pounds to my thighs ;) The one exceptional note about this restaurant was definitely the staff and owners. They were quite busy when we got there and close to closing, but they still sat all the customers waiting without regard to the time. They were very friendly, cheerful and attentive. The owner made you feel welcome and made a point to greet and check on the guests. The hospitality was awesome. Will give this place another try.

Good pasta with vegan options, including several pasta types and sauces. Pizza is on the menu but I haven' tried it. Good bread and olive oil. I'd have liked an option to add more vegetables or vegetable sides. We enjoyed strolling around the area and stopping in a coffee shop after our meal.

I love the food here. Wine selection was okay. They have more South American wine than Italian. The pasta is always amazing. We had their meatballs as appetizer and then the lasagna. The meatballs were delicious. The lasagna was good. The meat sauce was more meat than sauce but that's just me. The pasta sheet and the cheese mixture was amazing. We went during dinner time so it was a bit busy. The bread came out late so they gave us a complimentary cannoli. Update: Came back after moving to Dallas and their recent renovation/move. The space is bigger and I love the atmosphere. I feel like the recipes changed though.

I would give a 4.5, but as with other reviews I’ve done, that’s not an option. This place is a fun little spot in Downtown Round Rock. I love the old building and the feeling like I’ve been there hundreds of times even though I haven’t. The food was fresh and tasty. The 4.5 is because they don’t have a ton of gluten free options. I’m not going to be too harsh because having gluten free food in a kitchen is tough for restaurants. My server, Kiersten, was friendly and knowledgeable. She led me to the antipasti salad. I could not finish it. It was a generous helping. I plan to come back. It’s a lovely gem in the heart of Round Rock

It was our first time visiting Palermo and the food was fantastic! The restaurant is tiny and packed, totally worth the wait! I love how the menu allows you to create your own dish and has descriptions of each of the in-house made pasta. I had the fettuccine with Italian ham, mushrooms, and grilled chicken. My husband had the carbonara with meatballs. The tiramisu was very light and delicious! I can't wait to go back.

Underwhelming. 😢 I had heard so many great things about this place so my husband and I tried to make a reservation for Saturday but you can't make a reservation past 5 pm on a Friday or Saturday. What? So we arrived at 6:45 and were told it was a 30 minute wait and that we could get a drink next door while waiting. Ummmmmm OK. We headed across the street for an appetizer and a beer at The Brass Tap (which should have been our first choice... Great menu, dozens of great beers, no waiting), then after 25 minutes headed back to Palermo so we were close when our name was called or when the hostess literally picked up the landline and called us to tell us it's our turn (old school?). We ended up waiting an hour and twenty minutes! Unacceptable to tell guests 30 minutes and stretch it into 80. The hostess also appeared to be seating people at random instead of going down the list. We weren't a large party. With just 2 of us, there were many options. By the time we were seated, it was apparently 40 minutes before they closed (!). We were brought 2 teeny tiny pieces of bread, which were disappointingly dry. Our server was very sweet and took our order, which arrived relatively quickly. I was under the impression that they make their own pasta, but if that's true, then it wasn't evident when I ate my fusili with creamed caprese sauce. Don't get me wrong. It was good, but it wasn't great. It certainly wasn't worth waiting an hour and twenty minutes. I did order a cannoli, mostly because at this point I was certain I wouldn't be returning so I wanted to try it. That was actually really good (thus a bonus star... One for cannoli, one for the server, and one for mediocrity). All on all, I won't be returning. I should have lowered my expectations, but honestly, I could have easily made that at home without the wait (and probably cheaper). It's pasta. It's not that hard if it's not freshly made.

We went on a Sunday for lunch and it wasn’t overly crowded. We were sit right away and the server was attentive. Place was clean but small. The menu is a little different than what I use to see in others restaurants. You have to pay for the pasta and the sauce and then extra for any kind of protein you want to add to it. The prices of the pasta go from $12 to $20 (ravioli) and the protein is usually extra $5. So it was quite expensive for just a family lunch. The pasta was fresh but the sauce was bland. The sodas are can sodas. It was good but not enough for me to come back.

B
Brendan Segraves

Fresh made pasta and sauces. The freshness was nice but unfortunately the flavor was only okay. Also, a warning if you try and book a reservation with open table. We made a reservation for that same evening. When we showed up our name was not on the list. They told told us the owner only checks every morning, and if you don't receive a personal email from the owner then the reservation doesn't count. So we had to wait an hour. I know, first world problems. We just wish the food had made the wait worth it.

Sadly I’m giving this a three star. This was our first visit. The food was a five star, but the service was really poor. The salads were brought out and the dinner salads were served to the wrong people who began to eat them. And then it was discovered that they should’ve been given the spinach salad that they had ordered. So the salads had to be remade. And about that time the hot food came out for part of our group. But there was no room at the table, since we were a party of six and had not been given a very large table. So the hot food was taken back to the kitchen and was brought back again and we were told they had no way to keep it warm. So they set it on the table next to us and told us we could eat it when we got ready for it! So we moved our salads to the next table and sorted through the hot meals to figure out whose meal was whose and brought the hot food over so we could eat it while it was hot. But three people out of our party still had no food. One dinner was not made with the right pasta but we opted to keep it anyway. Then the waitress began to tell us that we couldn’t leave the food over there because they had a party coming in for that table. So how are we supposed to eat our salads? Hold them in our laps? So it was extremely disorganized and not a pleasant event. The waitress blamed the kitchen staff for cooking the food so quickly. But there weren’t many people in the restaurant and it should’ve been obvious to her that when she placed the order it would be out very quickly. It is the job of the waitress to know when to order the hot food. When you go out for a meal, and you order a salad, you expect to be able to have a reasonable amount of time to eat it before the hot course is brought. While she did give us a discount on the meals, what we really wanted was an elegant meal out for our birthday celebration. And she also gave us one cannoli with six spoons so we each had a bite of dessert. 😂🙂😅

Came here after our first choice fell through. The hostess almost didn't seat us when she found out we didn't have a reservation. Waiter was ok, but needed a lot of explanation when I tried to order some cannolli to go. Food was good, but would have been nice to get more bread. Overall it was ok, better than the chains, but not really worth the high price.

I was quite eager to experience this restaurant after hearing positive reviews, but unfortunately, my excitement dwindled upon trying their dishes. The Palermo Fusilli and Cannelloni failed to impress, lacking the expected flavors that I had anticipated. Despite my hopes for a more exciting experience, the dishes left much to be desired. On a positive note, their wine selection did stand out, and we were pleased with the quality of the wine we chose. However, the overall dining experience was spoiled by the demeanor of our waiter, who seemed very cold and unwelcoming. Their frequent check-ins felt rushed and gave the impression that they were eager to move us along. Considering the disappointing food and service, I find myself hesitant to return here in the future.

I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant with my family recently. There was a fairly long wait to get a table so we had heightened expectations. We all felt that the pasta noodles 🍝 were cooked very well but, unfortunately, all of our ordered menu items were extremely under-seasoned. To top it off, the wait staff was so busy that we eventually decided to take the orders home to season them to our liking so we could enjoy the meals. I may decided to give them another shot sometimein the near future... I'll keep you updated.

Pasta was fresh and sauces were good, but the hostess (maybe she’s a server or manager) ruined it for us - there’s other reviews about a rude lady and that’s definitely her. We got seated at a booth, and our friends came a bit after with their baby and stroller. This rude hostess comes by telling them she can’t have a stroller or high chair in that area as servers pass by with food in the worst tone possible. She showed negative interest in guiding us to another table that could accommodate a high chair, and had to be nudged by another customer to give us a table in the back. The other two servers for our tables were wonderful, but the rude lady needs to go if they want customers to have a good experience overall!

We tried to get a table here on Valentines but it was crowded with a wait time of an hour or more. So we made a reservation for March and dined in on a weeknight. Service was polite. The restaurant is set up like a long train compartment with booths back to back. Their fresh bread was good, served with simple olive oil. The cheesy flatbread was fine too. I got the Bucatini with Pink Mushroom sauce and neither enjoyed the pasta nor the sauce (I usually love spaghetti and hoped I’d like the bucatini as well; the mushroom sauce barely had any flavor). My SO got the ravioli with the Pizaiola sauce and that tasted much better. For desert I got the tiramisu, which was served in a paper cup (?) and was very fluid with barely any sponge. My SO got the cannoli which was again the better choice. I wish I could say this restaurant was 5✨and my favorite Italian restaurant in the area, but I wasn’t as impressed with the food as I’ve been at a few other local/family run Italian restaurants in around Rock and Georgetown. Still, glad we tried it.

We went for a date night. We had anticipated and great dinner. The atmosphere and the service was great the food was delicious but we anticipated a little more based on what we saw from reviews I wouldn't say that we were disappointed but we had very high hopes but overall everything was good. Painfully mediocre. The prices don't match the level of the food. Overcooked noodles, bland flavorless sauce (probably microwaved), the lettuce in the salad was bitter. Its edible. Also, for the people who say this is authentic, they are uninformed.

This looks place is a huge disappointment. Went there for lunch. Lady on the reception was extremely inpatient and rude. Poor service. (Probably because this place understaffed). They skimp on pasta portions to sauce. Sauce isn't great. Wine is from Italy. Get the flatbread, the antipasta was mostly lettuce, the manager is weird and will judge you to where you will sit, she is not friendly. Been there a few times, not going back.

Food is amazing. ALWAYS ASK FOR A RECEIPT WHEN ORDERING TAKE OUT. The server i recently had took it upon herself to add a $20 tip to my $65 food charge. She asked if I wanted a receipt first which I thought was weird but after seeing the total change it made sense. Anyway, amazing food, but also watch your fingers. Tony the manager seems an "oh well" attitude about this type of theft.

So I walk inside the first thing I see is the hostess sitting down while on her cell phone. I tried to get $100 gift certificate for a friend. So I asked the hostess for $100 gift card and she said that a manager will have to do it so she walked to the back of the restaurant I stood around for 5 minutes. The hostess returns and says that we don't do gift cards? Your website specifically declares that you sell gift cards I drove all the way from Georgetown to get a gift card from your restaurant. This is a major fail I will never ever patronize this restaurant ever again. If I walk into a restaurant and employee is sitting down on their phone when they should be working. Not returning to that restaurant. The walls are completely filthy almost as if they hire employees to be on their phone when they should be working. My wife and I used to go there quite often but will never ever return.

We walked in on a busy Friday night (around 7ish pm). The place was full (good sign) and the hostess was very nice, telling us it'll be 10 min wait. After 30 min, we were sitted. We were given 2 buns and 2 empty dishes. We just assumed we're supposed to put some olive oil and hot peppers in one.. Maybe vinegar in the other? 🤷🏻 The buns were fresh and warm. The waitress showed up to take our drink orders.. Not the smiley type, but we didn't mind. She took our orders and disappeared. She'd pass by our table numerous times, wouldn't pick up the dirty dishes, won't fill up our water, won't ask how things are going or if needed anything (we did) A hour later (!) our food arrived. It was fantastic. I don't usually like pasta, but their chicken Alfredo was very good as was their flat bread. We finished quickly (we were very hungry. Lol) and left, letting them know with the tip and a note that though we enjoyed the food, the service was lacking. Will we return? Probably not. But if we do, it won't be on a busy weekend.

The place with Italian name where we wanted to try the pizza, the pizza dough tasted more like a cookie and not as pizza at all. Very salty too. The bread that was brought before the meal was not freshly cooked but reheated and was nothing special especially for place which makes a homemade pasta, which is very disappointing. Nothing similar to Italian bread and pizza at all! Cheesecake was good with jam on the top. What was really good is the service, fast, the waitress boy was very gentle and attentive.

I was really disappointed with my experience at Palermo. We were told there was a booth reserved for us, so we waited at the bar. After waiting for 45 minutes we were told we could order food at the bar — but that we couldn’t be seated in our supposedly reserved booth and order the same things there. It was confusing and frustrating. If the booth was reserved, it didn’t make sense that we couldn’t actually sit there and order. The lack of communication and consistency made the experience feel disorganized and unwelcoming. Palermo might have good food, but the service and management approach really need improvement. Highly suggest replacing the gal at the front as it seems the wait staff was just as frustrated with her as we were.

Had a reservation, was told the kitchen was at full capacity so it would take 5 mins for somebody to come get our order. Waited 20 mins, put our appetizer order in which was fine. One hour after we were seated we get our appetizer which was mediocre at best. After some more waiting our mains arrived, and the pasta with the tomato sauce was really acidic. Another pasta saved our meal fortunately. But it was a terrible experience overall, do not get the hype.

I have been there in December. It wasn’t the first time. I live in NYC, Argentinian of 100% Italian background. I must say I was very disappointed. Had to wait on line to be seated, even though I had a reservation. Management kept coming upfront to erase foods on a menus that was posted on the wall. Food was anything but Italian, and the Argentinian touch??? The only Argentinian touch was the few pictures on the wall about my city… we were denied ordering dessert, because the kitchen had closed! I would imagine if you have a reservation for 4, wait an hour on line to be seated, at least they should extend you the courtesy of doing the right thing. Not professional, and certainly not classy. Food is served “not in a traditional Italian way. Not fine Italian cuisine….

However she cut me off mid sentence and hung up without saying anything else. Maybe she's having a bad day, idk. Probably worth management finding out to ensure your guest receive good customer service. Food is always good but service so inconsistent and Togos just makes more since at Gino’s down the road since their service is consistently better.

Worst spaghetti I’ve had. The texture of the pasta with far too soft. Not mushy, but on its way. Pasta should never be this soft . The sauce was so sweet, All I could think about was if I add salt, will it cover up the sweetness So I can eat this? They must’ve put a pound of sugar in the sauce. In addition to the pound of sugar, They used way too much oil. Chefs should always taste their dishes before the dishes leave the kitchen. Common sense. This place clearly does not do that. Asked to put it in a to-go container in case our dog wanted it. I sat there and filled up on bread. It’s a pasta house and they messed this up, this poorly. Definitely won’t be returning.
