Excellent food, great service. I had the stuffed French toast with bacon and marscapone, Mrs. had the smoked salmon and eggs with havarti cheese.

Amazing place!! Absolutely loved our Brunch. The place is small but food is great! I ordered mushrooms scrambled with rye and coffee. The scramble was fluffy and creamy. My friends dishes were also very delicious. The garlic potato's were little uncooked but very good in flavor. My friends French toast, waffles and special cramble with salmon was also very good. They also have mimosa. Highly recommend this place. Must visit.

We need more places like Muse, an urban oasis where you can sit quietly and forget your troubles. The omelettes are amazing and the potatoes are done just right. Avoid the steak and eggs, the steak is very tough. The service is professional and unobtrusive. Time to go back to evening hours Cafe Muse!

Pretty little spot on the strip. Vegan options! Tried the delicious tofu scramble with soy chorizo & pico alongside herbed potatoes, which they offered to grill with oil instead of butter. Loved that! Our waitress was friendly and kept the coffee coming. We will be back, specifically, to try the vegan burger next.

Very cozy brunch place. Great omelets and coffee. Really enjoyed steak and eggs. Parking is free on Sundays in Royal Oak. Service was very fast and welcoming.

went here with a friend for brunch on a wednesday ! it was virtually empty in there so service was speedy. our waitress was very nice & our food was yummy. my friend got tomato bisque with grilled cheese & i got the mushroom egg white omelet dish. i also got a bloody mary, which i didn’t taste and alcohol nor did it give me any sort of buzz whatsoever… but it was 11am on a weekday so i really had no business being tipsy anyways lol

An incredible gem of Royal Oak! Absolutely delicious breakfast. The ricotta and lemon pancakes are to die for and the mimosas are super unique! Blumosa and Hawaiian Mimosa are pineapple juice and then a blueberry and lavender blend.

This place is amazing! I love the food, drinks and the service is spectacular. Hedu did such a good job with making sure I was tended to and overall the staff is very sweet. Would definitely come here again!

Cafe Muse totally delivers!! The steak and eggs were super tender and tasty! The sweet French toast was rich without being too heavy. The vibe’s cozy, the staff’s friendly, prices are great, and they even have halal options. Great brunch spot!

Breakfast was delicious! Had smoked salmon toast & omelette with asparagus, mushroom & tomato. Both were fresh & each a very generous portion! We added the breakfast charcuterie board which was chef’s kiss! 🩷 Would recommend! All right

This spot has such a great menu, we decided to try both a savory and a sweet dish. We ordered the Ammoglio Scramble and the stuffed French toast with marscapone and braised berries, both were fantastic. The food came out hot, the service was wonderful, and it ended up being the perfect experience for a breakfast date. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience with Maria. The steak & eggs are fire! And so is the seafood grits. The bottomless mimosa made me super happy! Love this place!

Had the pleasure of dinning there today with a dear friend for brunch. My vanilla bean waffle was out of this world. Her lemon ricotta pancakes were good just way to much syrup. Amazing service on Bobby behalf

As a person who generally doesn't drink coffee, the hazelnut cappuccino was INCREDIBLE. The exotic mushroom scramble and Yukon potatoes were also great! Highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

The Honey Truffle Avocado Toast was phenomenal! Our waiter (Bobbi) was very attentive and super sweet! We have loved Cafe Muse for decades and return from Ann Arbor frequently!

Service got tremendously better! Food is still excellent. Glad to see improvements on an old favorite. They’ve added a few new things to spruce up an already amazing menu (I suggest the avocado toast!).

On my tour of hitting the Brunch spots in Royal Oak, we landed here today. I got the mushroom eggs with sweet potato mash and a side a bacon, my lady got the French toast with jam, and my baby got the buttermilk pancakes. I do plan going back to try more food so that should tell you it isn't bad It wasn't bad but it wasn't anything to go bragging about. The service was chill and servers were attentive. Try it for yourself and make your call. It's worth the experience. My baby ate all of pancakes. First time ever.

Very interesting mode of operation. Muse is a breakfast, brunch, lunch place, as noted by the hours. It CLOSES at 1:30 pm. The location changes to Cafe De Olla (or Rosita's Cocina) in the afternoon for dinner. The meals looked and tasted very fresh. By the way, Rosita's uses the same entrance for dinner. It's kind of confusing for first-timers looking for the places. The wild mushroom soup was delicious. It was kind of like a mushroom moose, as opposed to a bisque. I only wish the amount was larger for the bowl.

The food was great, especially those blueberry pancakes. I loved the atmosphere but they’ve room for improvement when it comes to service.

Went in for brunch and i was pleasantly surprised I ordered the steak and eggs with a side of potatoes, i also got a side of their seafood cheese grits. I have to say everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly, probably some of the best scrambled eggs I’ve eaten while dining out. The grits were good a little to thick for my liking but good flavor overall. I will definitely be coming back to this place in the future.

I’ve come here 2 or 3 times a week for a few months and it’s really a gem of a brunch place. Love the waffle, and everyone’s so nice. Sometimes there’s a wait for the food or to get your order taken.

We went during amazing live music by Laina this afternoon. So cute inside, menu has amazing options. Service was great.

Oh My Guld!!! I got the exotic mushroom dish with a side of bacon...when I tell you that meal had my taste buds doing flips..it awoke another sense.. Found me a Royal Oak breakfast spot..Thank You! Ima try something else but going to feel like I cheated on my original meal..😉

Right in the middle of downtown Royal Oak. It was somewhat ceowded as it was Sunday brunch. We started with a pitcher of mimosas. For eats we went from their famous grilled cheese, to pancakes, plain jane scrambled & salmon scrambled eggs. My grilled short rib cheese was good and gooey ( though i wished for more of a pull). Tomato soup i got with it I'd skip next time. The scrambles I was told were good and all liked the pancakes. They do add 20% gratuity to all checks but they gave good service too. I'd come back.

This was my first time coming here and the food was delicious! I had the vanilla bean waffle topped with fresh fruit, whipped cream, and peanut butter on the side along with potatoes. The only problem was the service was really slow and it was hard to flag down our waiter. I pointed out to my friend that the table behind her and I had 3 different groups come and go under the same waiter as us. I'm not sure if our waiter had too many tables and forgot about us? But we only saw him a couple of times and that's when he brought our drinks and food. We waited a half an hour for the bill and the hostess ended up cashing us out. We were there for about 2 1/2 hours. Also another thing to note was that the menus given to us were dirty, almost like we used it after someone else. My friend's plate was dirty too. It had grease marks on the side.

Good, not great. Very difficult to get a cup of coffee, let alone a refill, making it a questionable breakfast spot. The waffles were excellent, but the scrambled eggs seemed highly processed. Meh.

First time here. Food was great! Service not so much. We got there an hour before closing. There was a 20 minute wait. The host did say we had plenty of time to eat and enjoy but our waitress disappeared a lot even with requests for more water, etc. She was nice enough but then forgot about us completely. I had to go find her inside (we were outside) to pay. Too many excellent places to have brunch in RO. Most likely, we'll move on to try others.

Food was alright. I got the steak and eggs and Mac with short rib. The steak that I received with the egg was so SAD exp. Compared to the photos on their google photos… Mac and short rib, should have known better but the short rib was pre shredded on top of the Mac and cheese. Mac was also watery. Everything tasted alright. Nothing special

It pains me to write this as this place was a favorite brunch spot for us but this last visit really is making us think twice before coming back. We found out while waiting for the food that the ownership is new which is fine, the food was tasty as always. Our first gripe, the steak and eggs- they had the audacity to serve this dish with 3 small cuts of steak nested on top of the eggs and a handful of cubed potatoes. Don’t list as a steak if you’re not serving a full steak. Second gripe: We got no check back with the waitress to see if our food was good nor did we get refills of our water or coffee. Third gripe: the umbrellas on the patio tipped over in the wind so our shelter from the sun was gone, it was either get hit by the umbrella again or sit in the late morning sun. Fourth gripe: we asked 3 separate people for our bill, the food runner, our waitress, the new owner and still did not get it. We both went inside to hunt someone down to finally get it and when we did we just got the total, no itemized bill so we couldn’t see what was actually on it but didn’t want to wait around any more. Since we have been regulars here for more than 5 years we know that 20% is added for gratuity, which is fine since it’s what we usually pay, but this visit did not warrant said tip. I sincerely hope that the new owners see this and improve. There is absolutely no excuse for not refilling our water/coffee or the inexistent service from the waitress. Get more help and find a solution to the umbrella problem since your seating is now limited to one inside room and the outside storefront.

I was super excited to check this place out! The menu looks amazing! I drove over an hour…and anticipated waiting for such fabulousness! What I did not anticipate was how rude the hostess was. From Putting my name on the waiting list to ask me where I should sit to when I asked if I could grab a drink while I wait. The overall vibe was so negative that I put my name in walked next-door to Lilly’s. The people at Lilly’s were so friendly and inviting! We decided to stay there and enjoy our lunch. Goodness, what a difference rude people versus friendly kind people makes!

Horrible! The food was absolutely disgusting. I don't understand how they have repeat customers. I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes, they were wet in the center. I sent those back and got the stuffed french toast, it was warmed bread, with toppings. I honestly feel like they are selling cheap product at a premium price.

This place went downhill fast after the new owners took over. The food isn’t the same, the service is slow, and the hostesses have a rude attitude now. Definitely not the warm, welcoming restaurant it used to be.

Terrible service. Whoever hired these servers needs to get new employees ASAP. Trisha was Not professional at all. We were told the salmon was pan seared but came out raw. When we nicely asked to swap it out for something else because it wasn’t what we expected nor told, we were told that “this is not a buffet where you try things and decide you don’t like them, and can’t take anything off of anyone’s bill” and then when we did fight back the waitress proceeded to loudly complain and shake her head to her coworkers about us. We were not rude at all and just wanted our food to come out correctly. Will never return. Also the prices for the small portions of food they gave us are absolutely ridiculous.
