It was fine with one employee but not so much when the other showed up. Her obvious bad mood brought the whole vibe down. 1st visit to ever try the food. 20 bucks for a burger and fry is high but okay if it's good enough all around. To me not worth it. Yes the burger is worth the accolades but combined with the service and the employee that came in and took over no. So I watch as she takes a bunch of old soggy fries, over salts and flips them into a container and then dumps more into the bag as I see a fresh fry coming up, and hands me the bag. Ugh and well with the attitude I just walked out and wished the other person good luck. No combos on the menu, no ranch to sell? and when I asked about the price it was said they make their meat fresh? Well to me it seems five guys needs to maybe consider redoing the menu and making some adjustments. Besides the place is always dead that should of been a sign for me. Overall cleanliness is A++ though unusual for fast food places. With fresh fries and a smile I would of added it to my eat out list

There are way better 5 guys around besides this location. Food is decent. This location however, they can be a little on the rude side. Not to mention only received like not even kidding 8 extra fries at the bottom of the bag. Other 5 guys locations you go to, they load your bag with extra fries, but not this location. Im so upset with most places, because of poor customer service that I'm not even in the mood to go into another establishment and confront people that if it was the other way around would understand my griping.

Spent $10.67 on a “Large” fry that was maybe slightly smaller than a $3 large fry at McDonalds. Absolutely ridiculous.

You have 7 people working here at 8 pm. I walk in ignored 10 minutes not one word I'm standing rite at your counter. The employee helps 4 people 10 more minutes pass. Then the whole stores empty now but one person eat. I gave a weird look then your employee approaches me WOW

Terrible experience I will never order from this location ever again do to my burger not being made right looked like a loose burger and was not made with any care or love in the world and it’s pricey so I expected better service I would not recommend this location at all waste of my money 😡

9 & gratiot is terrible , very bad customer service. Dude was mad at the amount of customers so he ignored me & let my scheduled order sit around til it got cold.

9 & Gratiot has gotta be the worst restaurant in the franchise. It was kinda strange because there was no one in line in front of me and there were only three or four other people in the restaurant. When I got it, the cheese was cold, the burger wasn't warm and it tasted dried out. How is it you don't serve a FRESH burger when the place isn't busy?? Also, there's no napkins anywhere to be found and they didn't put any in the bag so I felt (kinda) bad because I had to just left a mess on the table and leave.

You could literally drive all the way to the one in Greektown park, order and get your food and be home before you could get your food at this location. If you order online and it says 10-15 minutes better give it a good 30-40 to even leave your house.Armed security at a burger spot is also a nice touch makes you feel safe…

Exact cash or card on a Tuesday at noon is crazy!!! Then have an attitude when I told them I'll sell them change. I use to come here alot. Now I'm done. If you can't accept my cash, I'm definitely not giving you my card.

Went here yesterday around 1:00pm friendly customers but food was rushed… Maybe it was only about 2-3 customers in there but my food was fine when I got home. I started to feel VERY SICK! I couldn’t even eat my food anymore…. Next thing I know me and my sister are throwing up every hour non stop. This was the only thing we ate and we NEVER experienced this until yesterday.. I am very disappointed… The meat couldn’t have been cooked properly or it’s old meat being cooked!

Found an inch long piece of glass in between my burger patties. Bit into at first, almost broke my teeth. Store manager stated "we don't have any glass." Refused to take accountability. This could have caused serious intestinal issues/bleeding and tooth damage. My kids could have ate this burger. There are some disgusting/malicious people working here.

Food was prepared perfectly. Waiting forever while delivery orders were being prioritized was disappointing. People only get a certain amount of time during lunch. Definitely makes it a hard pill to swallow after spending over 16 dollars for a hot dog, small French fries, and large drink.

The rudest staff I have ever witnessed and the manager is #1 on that list. Getting any food from here can be more difficult that climbing Mt Everest because respect and education is not a requirement to work at this Five Guys! The District manager should fire everyone before they destroy the great products this franchise offers.
