We are tourists, and the Northernmost McDonalds did us good! Spicy Nuggets with the garlic mayo were great! Wish we had these in the states. Also was a first to see one have 2 stories.
Rusk has Jacksonville beat for sure. Real quater pounder and actually had ketchup and mustard instead of enough to put a stain on the bun. Actually using the sauté onions on the big macs instead of sliced onion.
Amazing place to stop great food amazing service will always come to this McDonalds Hispanic kid at window is very respectful and friendly management is great keep it up!
Stopped here with the kids on our way to Dallas for our little getaway while they was out of school. The McDonald’s is clean and the team there is very friendly and helpful. Will be back next we are in the area. Cool caboose for pictures just in front of McDonald’s as well.
If you go when the Spanish manager lady is working, you definitely will get ur food fast and all the ladies are sweet,respectful.
Not bad. We had chicken McNuggets and they were ok. The place was quite empty with the occasional staff from the nearby medical center dropping by. Service was good and the person who took my order was pleasant. Overall a decent McDonald's.
It's a smaller than your normal McDonalds but looks to be fairly new. The food was good and fresh. Service was friendly and fast
This McDonald's use to be good, here recently the service has gone down the drain. Incredibly sloppy putting anything together, most of the time missed ingredients (onion, pickles, mayo), but won't forget to do a overkill on the lettuce, cooks not acknowledging customer add on requests, like adding extra pickles and not receiving any at all, messing up drink orders in general even though you repeat it back to them multiple times. I've called and complained to the manager about this and nothing has changed. Everything I'm describing isn't just "every now and then", it's MULTIPLE times a week. We don't live right in town, we live 3 miles outside of town and it's a huge inconvenience to go back when they mess up, it's a inconvenience when I order at the drive thru and have to park to go in because they messed up the order too. Always get your receipt and check your food/drinks BEFORE leaving. In my opinion the parking availability is terrible also, it's shared with a dentist office next door, as well as to-go order parking and employee parking.
I understand ticket times and that you don't want them to exceed the amount corporate gives you, but when you send every car to the parking lot because you can't get food out.... what's the point of the drive thru or even mobile order at that point? Parking lot becomes packed and difficult to get through because 8 -9 people are waiting on their orders. Either hire the staff to do it, or just simply do carryout only. We shouldn't be waiting 15 minutes in parking spots for "fast food".
My burger was literally thrown together in the box. The meat was hanging most of the way out and the sauce was squirted in the box and not on the burger.
The workers were rude and sappy and the order was wrong had to pay for extra pickles not only did they not give them to me there wasn't any on my burger 😒 not going back will drive to nacogdoches
Went through the drive thru, ordered 2 Mcdoubles and a McChicken (only ketchup and cheese on it) and two drinks. Got our drinks and was told to pull forward. Waited for 20 mins till we had to go in and say something. Got the order, employees didnt apologize. Order was wrong when we looked at it, went back in and the manager fixed it all and refunded our meal. So props to manger
I Ordered at the counter and ordered a certain burger with all the vegetables added, as I waited looking at my receipt it didn't say that so I told one of the other ladies and they still didn't add the vegetables. When I went back to the counter the lady explained to me the one I ordered didn't come with all the vegetables and rang me up for the other one which was 3 something so I just kept the one they messed up. The part that was actually the worst of the visit was not the messed up burger but the overall customer service. I worked at a McDonald's a long time ago for about 4 years and it was alot better back then. Today they are definitely fast but the customer service has disappeared, they take your order like a robot and call out your number, set it on the counter and walk away. No thank you or have a nice day, my order was close to 40 dollars and the customer service was about worth 2 cents.
Paid for a large sweet tea, didn't get it. Paid for a large caramel macchiato and it was just milk and caramel and no coffee at all. Very dissappointed
Poor quality food, if you even get it. 90% of the time I go there, they forget half of my order at least. The staff are just that, staff. They look like they'd rather be doing anything else other than serving you.
Why order on the app then have to wait for your order to be prepared? Aren't app orders supposed to speed things up?
This place is a disgrace!! WOULD LOVE to speak with owner or at least someone in management who is NOT in high school. I have never been treated so poorly as I was today!!
i don’t know what changed on the night shift.. but for the last couple of weeks i’ve ordered food for me and my family and either the orders are wrong, i don’t get my drinks, OR THE FRIES AND NUGGETS ARE OLD, and on top of all that i have to wait 15-20 minutes. why am i waiting if you’re giving out old and stale food?. literally y’all, just because they’re warm does not mean customers cannot tell the difference between fresh and been sitting there for what tastes like 15 years. and for breakfast…. how are you going to cook one side of the steak? get it together
I ordered 3 meals at the Rusk, TX location, and all 3 burgers were wrong. I went through the drive thru and didn't realize the mistake until I got home. When I called the store and spoke with the manager, I was assured it would be made right on my next visit. When I went in today, 2/23/25, I was told I could get the burgers replaced but not the whole meals. 2 kids meals and an Angel Reese meal. If the burgers are made incorrectly, the meal experience is ruined. I was told that protocol says I only get the burger replaced. I would think that protocol says I should get my meal made the way I ordered it in the first place. The food industry spends a lot of money to sell their products and their dining experience. My grandchildren were excited about getting their meals replaced so they could enjoy them. What a disappointing trip they had this morning. Fortunately, there was a local Taco Bell that still appreciates their customers.
This is the stingiest McDonald's I've ever been too. Horrible customer service. Everything is behind the counter. They removed the drink machine. Had to even ask a few times for salt and ketchup. Seriously, go to the one in Jacksonville. Much better.
Just ordered food from the drive thru. Very slow. But the worst was that when we opened our order of fries, we hardly got any! Paid for a large French fry and we MAYBE got an amount that would equal a small. Very disappointed to have to pay that much for fast food and then hardly get any.
