Ordered online. food was hot and fresh and came to my place fast! Would order from them again. Was missing an apple pie and called. The manager made it right and apologized for the mess up but on a big order I can understand.
Best staff ever!
Great place most of the time. Drive through service gets way backed up during peak times. Packed with elderly people most mornings. Seems like a safe place most of the time. I avoid the whole area when there's an event at the school across the street.
It’s so bussin i love it so much everybody should go here i love there food.They are very nice has a nice Manager if there’s a long line it only takes 10 to 5 minutes
The food was truly .adequate to order. The fries were fresh out of the fryer. So hot they had to cool to eat.
I went for breakfast at Whataburger this morning Jennifer Mendiola took my order she was the most sweetest person to take my order with patients while working doing her job and making the customers happy 😁 she deserves employee of the month

This location is usually great. We don’t really ever have any problems, excepts for getting Diet Dr Pepper instead of Diet Coke at the drive-thru. That happens quite frequently, but it is usually corrected immediately.
Love the chicken salad. That's my go to. The women who work here are very sweet and accommodating. We usually stop here when we travel for work.
My wife and I are from Arizona. We ate here at 6:30 pm. Very clean. Lot's of room and the service was way above and beyond expectations. But, most importantly, the food was fantastic

Update 11/2022 - still good food and friendly staff. The Sausage Biscuit is good, try the cinnamon rolls. They are delicious. Tried the Breakfast Bowl today with bacon instead of sausage. It was good, but a bit much. Staff is always friendly at this location.
Fast service and good food, especially the banana pudding milkshake! By the time you get home the fries and burger do get a bit soggy but they still taste really good and are super filling. Overall good place to grab a quick bite!
I used a survey and got my #1 free. Our burgers were just as we expected. The young lady that took our order was very courteous. Other employees were busy staying busy. This is one of the biggest WB's around and very well taken care of. We really like the RV/boat parking area. I can easily monurver my motorhome & toad.
As always it was a great quality burger. And it didn't take ages to be made. The facility was very clean in and out and the atmosphere was great. People laughing all around and everyone enjoying their food. Great customers serviced everyone inspection ready. Will be coming soon again when I'm in the area again
Food was awesome and hot , employee I received my food from was not friendly at all and acted like it pained her to put salt in my bag. Not all employees are like that. I had a nice encounter with the Petey that took the order.
Big juicy burger, beef, lettuce,tomato, onion, pickle,cheese on toasted bun with butter all over. Don't be silly. This is delicious and is like a heart attack in a wrapper. At least you'll die happy.
I have never had a problem at this location. The food has always been prepared in a quick fashion, and it is not carelessly thrown together. The restaurant is always clean and service is for the most part, always beyond expectations.
This whataburger is probably among one of the better ones I've been to. Having undergone a total remodel a few years back, it's one of the nicer, more modern, and cleaner ones, as well. The service is always great, the food is good, and management is always eager to more than make up for any mistakes or errors. Great location, right off the loop, and across from the high school. Easy in, easy out. They get a lot of business, but handle the orders pretty quickly, so don't let a long drive thru line deter you from stopping; it'll go pretty fast. All in all, I recommend stopping by, especially for breakfast!

My family visited this Whataburger location in Palestine, Texas for lunch on 9/17/23. The young lady who took our drive-thru order was fantastic! She was friendly & thorough, repeated our order, didn't rush us, and made sure everything was correct before sending us around to the window to pay. I actually got to speak with her when she handed our order out to us, and she was as pleasant in person as she was over the headset! I wish I had gotten her name! Oh, and I forgot to mention that our order was not only correct, but it also tasted great! My family and I ended up pulling around to the front and parking so we could use the restrooms before we got back on the road to Dallas. We commented on how clean the dining room AND the restrooms were! The food was great, the employees were nice and HAPPY, and the restaurant was clean. This Whataburger location is doing an awesome job!
We dined in. The place was busy which is normal for this place. I give my compliments to the manager running the shift. She was everywhere and had her hands full obviously training new front counter people. But the place was clean and food was good. No complaints.
Always good food. They are just super busy so you have to be patient but they try their best to give good customer service.
We visited from Florida and our family recommended we go to Whataburger and we did to celebrate our daughters birthday, food was good, service was great and LaSanta Lott made our visit extra special, she’s truly amazing and loves seeing others smile and loves her job 🥰

This may be the best Whataburger dine-in experience ever. We were greeted by the sweetest lady. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The dining area was spotless and another really sweet lady was constantly wiping tables and seats. Our food was great. In the last couple of years I have been disappointed by Whataburger and had heard the ownership changed. The Palestine, Tx Whataburger was the quality I expect and have experienced in years past!
The older gentleman that’s team leader working the front counter. He’s an awesome human being! Doesn’t seem like he meets a stranger, he’s the perfect example of how people should in today’s society. The food is always fresh, the dining room is always clean, the staff is always hospitable, the tea is the best. There are many options to choose from on this menu. Make sure to check your order if you are at the drive-through. The young kids will mess it up for sure. How simple can it be to order a adjust a burger with meat, cheese, and mayonnaise only.

As a door dasher I would like to thank everyone at whataburger in Palestine tx. They get our food quickly, always nice and kind🤩and they always offer a free drink. They know we help them make money too. Best restaurant in town as far as door dash.((Once at Taco Bell I asked if I could put a little soda in my own cup to take my PM meds and the big, chubby, black manager acted like I was asking him to donate his kidney,!!! Thanx whataburger!

Breakfast this morning was wonderful! It's rare that I can get hash browns that are perfectly crispy on the outside. Most places have soggy hash browns. The gravy and biscuits were on point. The staff are so friendly and the restaurant was super clean. Way to go Palestine!
The honey butter chicken biscuit on the breakfast menu was DELICIOUS. The food was served fairly quickly. I even got a compliment from one of the workers on my hair. I appreciated how friendly the staff were.
Visited for brunch about 10:30am and before our order came out, the manager walked to our table to explain that they made a mistake on one of our meals. He apologized, asked if we’d like the other meals out to the table while they fixed the mistake, and gave my children cookies to make up for the mistake. The employees that brought the late meal were just as apologetic, and we didn’t even have to wait long. There aren’t many places that offer customer service like this anymore. Extremely professional and friendly. Who ever the owner is needs to know this current set of employees are wonderful! Keep up the great work! Fabulous customer service!
Stopped in this location late last night with my family on a 4 hour drive home. I can't tell you the last time I have been treated this well at a fast food chain. Everyone working last night was exceptionally nice and openly willing to serve us. We ordered roughly 8 or 9 different items and everything was prepared and brought out to us in less than 8 minutes. The cook and clerk brought the food with plemty of condiments and napkins then checked if we needed anything else. We were greeted when we arrived and everyone working told us goodnight, have a safe trip. 100% the best I have personally been treated in a fast food location in probably 20 years. God Bless that team!
Amazing burgers. Ordered them through the app. Doing so means you have to physically tell the staff that you're here so they know to start your order. Keep that in mind. Other than that, it gives you great options to customize your burger and is much easier for ordering. Definitely prefer app ordering, much simpler than trying to explain what you want on the burger and left off. Service is great here. Absolutely no complaints.
The service, food, and atmosphere are great, but only the food was really at a 5. I will definitely say this Whataburger is in my top 5 list that I have been to, and a model store. The foodwas really fresh, and really fast for a Whataburger. I had the traditional 1 with added jalapeño and avocado. We had a group of 12+, and everybody enjoyed the quick, accurate, delicious food.
i love Whataburger. They have great burgers and fries. Their breakfasts are good too with one exception. Every time I get the scrambled eggs they are hard and dry. Like I said, no other complaints.
Was really busy for 2 am, but I suppose bars just closed so that was normal for them. They had plenty of staff, order was taken fairly quickly and food delivered to my table promptly. The staff were friendly and other than a few tables due to being busy, the restaurant was clean. The price was a little steep but they’re not known for being cheap and I knew that when I went in.
They are a great place to eat. However, on certain days, they do not give us our complete order. We will be missing either one of our fries or a burger. But their service is good!!
The employees here were super nice and service was fast for whataburger. The only problems is lately is the shake machine has been down.... is this McDonald's??? Lol. Considering your seasonal shake is banana pudding, it's my father in laws favorite.

I've only ever had one bad experience out of the four times I've been to this place. Ok, maybe two. The correction for the bad one was terrible too. Manager Tiffany is not very nice and when I went to get my order replacement she didn't even do that right, and instead of saying something (bcz clearly I was an an inconvenience) I just left. When we first spoke on the phone she was rushing me off it and when I came in person, she was rushing again like she doesn't have time to deal with anyone. Other than dealing with her, my other items were fantastic!! Now I just go to Crockett Whataburger lol.
We ordered taquito and jalepeno cheddar biscuit. Both were fresh and not dried out.
Love walking in our local Whataburger to see all the old-timers setting having coffee with friends catching up on the gossip.❤️ . Coffee is always spot on an the companship here is amazing. The food has gone down hill. But I guess if you serve from the freezer you'll always get a frozen dinner flavor.
$20 for 6 small chicken strips, 1 medium drink, 1 medium fry, and 1 burnt piece of toast. Not worth it.
Got a watery milk shake was supposed to be chocolate but wasn't chocolate more like a watery vanilla shake
I give them a middle of the road rating as I keep the fact that it was after midnight that I made the drive thru trip to them. Only the service left some to desire since I received my burger without any condiment on it and they gave me fries when I ordered onion rings. I sat thru the impossible long wait in drive thru once more, only 1 car ahead of me, to request some mayonnaise & salt only to relieve some salt packages but also a huge container of mayonnaise without any way of applying it to my burger unless I just used my fingers to scoop it out & on to the burger. By then it was stone cold and my company with me had already finished their meal. So they weren't the worst I've experienced but definitely a far cry from the best.
$30 for two whatameals. The cashier told me a different total at the speaker and at the window. Then, they charged the amount from my account and also put a secondary hold for the same amount as well. So, $60 was tied up over fast food for a few days. The food was fine, but the prices and transaction issues really spoiled the experience. For $30, with another $30 hold, it's just not worth it.
Great when you get all of your order. However, the past 4 to 5 times I've been here, something is always missing from the order. Last time it was 3 cookies in the kid's meals, this time it was a cookie and fries and straws. Staff are always friendly, but would love to get everything on the ticket, especially for drive thru or pickup orders.
The online ordering needs to be worked on. It should be for faster service, which it is not. Most everytime, it's 15-20 minutes to get your online order, never any less; 18 minutes total, it doesn't usually take that long when busy dining in. No need for a B lane if it's NOT getting used.
The poor guy at the register was doing multiple tasks while women just gossiped and shared an easy task.
The food here is good and so is the service. My complaint is the parking lot. I live in Tyler and have stopped in here several times while traveling…usually around the 10-10:30 pm time frame. I think it’s always fallen in a Friday night. I don’t mind all the kids and their hanging out in the parking lot but it feels very unsafe to walk in here with all the high speed action cutting through the parking lot. I’m not here during the week so I have no idea if it’s just been bad timing on my part but I don’t think I will continue to stop in while the teens are gathering in the parking lot any longer.
The blonde haired man who gave us our food (from 2nd window)and we go regularly in morning, never says a word to us. Doesn’t repeat order doesn’t say thank you nothing. Ever. Not a people person. Would do better to have a friendly face greeting you in morning.
The post below was 2 years ago. NOW my fries have been under cooked the last 4 times I've visited this Whataburger. It's the afternoon crew (mostly young teenagers) The lunch crew seem to care a little more. 🤷🏽♀️ I love the customer service at the Palestine Whataburger! 9 times out of 10 my fries are nice and HOT. I have no complaints:)
The cashier was not able to pay attention to get order right. Then the cashier on the other register had to ring it up. If the employee is not register trained keep her off of the register. What a horrible experience. Never been that bad. Guess that what you get when you sell something from Texas that is working fine ... Don't know if I will come back anytime soon...
It was very busy and my husband stood inside for a long time, they somehow lost his order. When he finally brought the food, it was hot and fresh. The drinks were flat and the lobby was dirty.
3/24/22 at 12am ordered 3 milkshakes. We started to drink them only to find that they tasted very strange, metallic and chemically and burned in the back of the throat. So we took them back inside and informed the person at the counter that they didn't taste right.He said they had just cleaned the machine. He called over who I can only assume was the manager on duty where again we explained the strange chemical taste. She then said told one of the employees to taste to it verify we were telling the truth I suppose as if we were trying to cheat whatburger out of three sips of shake as the full cups were on the counter at this point. The employee who tasted it was like yeah this tastes bad and only then did they apologize for it not being good. Our money was refunded. My daughter then asked if she should throw the shakes away to which she was told she could throw them away or take them as if we wanted to drink milkshakes laced with cleaning product. I have worked in food service. If a customer brings back in a full drink saying it's bad you apologize first. Make it right then after check the product. You don't approach the situation from a the customer is trying to scam us point of view and you certainly don't encourage them to take potentially contaminated food or drink with them.
This whataburger has grown progressively worse. Today the cashier was rude, put it order in wrong, then blamed us for it. The manager on duty was more concerned with chastising is for not reading the screen than with his cashier paying attention to get the order right. The food was decent, but not great. The emphasis on quality and friendly service seems to have gone down since the corporate operation sold out to Chicago.... We'll go elsewhere next time we're in town.
The server, girl who took my order and food were all excellent. However witnessing a manager, Lino I think it was, berate young staff about how he was the only one who could do things correctly and that he was watching them was appalling. He was the most unkempt and unprofessional of all of them. In no way should this have happened. His staff was quick reasonable and polite, to speak to them in this manners at all, much less where customers can hear is disappointing to say the least.
Absolutely not communication. I walked up to the person at the register and she just stared at me. As I was giving my order she said absolutely nothing. After a very awkward silence she asked me if my onion rings were supposed to be a large. Long story short I got out to the truck in my order was not right, I went with it anyways cuz I had a 3-hour drive ahead of me and did not feel like going back in. The older gentleman that was taken care of before me seem to be in the same situation.
Ordered food for myself, my wife, and nearly 2yo daughter at 10:45am. Yes, it had some breakfast items. Arrived to pickup the food and advised that they “may” have given it away to someone else. The manager said they would give us something in place of it. But they wouldn’t do the same food since they just wrapped up the breakfast stuff. Hasn’t eaten at this location in a while due to the last time I was here I went through the drive-thru, everything in my order was wrong and not what I ordered; and I have an enzyme allergy to onions and what they gave me was covered in onions, and the time before I had a rude employee taking my order and I witnessed her yelling at another customer.
I’ve had multiple issues getting food here. They’ve given me the wrong order or completely left out things that I’ve ordered around 6 times now
Ordered sausage gravy on biscuit. Waited almost 10 minutes. Order taker was very friendly and extremely chatty. I finally walked up and asked them to check on my order....when I got itI had to ask for fork and knife! Very disappointing. Not the norm for them.
Gravy was very lumpy everything was very salty fires were cold. They are normally very good but not that day. You pay 13.00 for a meal you won't it to be good hot and fresh.
We went to this location after the polar express I have expressed to whataburger headquarters that I dont think that employees are reminded to ask about rewards but anywho I remembered this time around but we had to wait 15 minutes for the food which is cool but when you wait you expect fresh!!!!!! I even asked when placing the order
Usually it's very good but on my last visit I had to wait over ten minutes because the two cars at the front of both lanes had special orders. They should have made one of the vehicles pull up to a parking spot to free up a lane so the cars behind them can exit. I had over half of my lunch eaten before I left the serving lanes...
Went for breakfast was gonna have an early morning picnic in the my vehicle, the food was great but no fork and no napkins, it's hard to eat biscuits and gravy with no fork. lucky I did have napkins but only had a plastic knife! Had to take my food home to eat cause they failed to put what I needed in my sack! Lately it has been horrible here twice the coffee was bad, the first time it was barely warm and tasted like it had tea in it, second time it was barely warm.
They are so busy, because they are so busy they are rude. I told them they were out of both teas and they said we don't have time right now to fill them.
Visited 4-30-25. Ordered two burgers, two Whatasized fries, and two Whatasized sweet teas. The whole food order was placed in a tiny brown paper sack. We thought odd. When we got home, the two burgers were smashed at the bottom. What? Are they going out of business and couldn't afford a paper sack for each burger and a big plastic bag to put them in. Visited 5-1-25 in the morning for breakfast, told staff about smashed burgers, and we were told that we should have brought them back. Funny considering that we live 25 minutes away. I have included a picture. I do not know what is worse getting smashed burgers or the answer we were were given. Irritated to say the least. Would have given 4⭐s; however, severely long line. That usually does not bother me; except tonight 10:25pm, it was slow moving. All made no difference when I saw they offered a new flavor of shake...peaches and cream. Since moving here in 2017, this is, by far, the worst Whataburger to buy chocolate milkshakes. There is not enough chocolate syrup to hardly tint the vanilla, and there is even less chocolate in the bottom half. Plus, they do not blend them long enough. [EDITED 4-20-23] They should rename them as "Almost Chocolate".
only giving a 1 star because you cant give a half star ordered in the app for delivery over half the order was wrong and they refused to correct the issue had to call the corp office to get the issue fixed the manager was useless and in my opinion should not be allowed to be in customer service at all in any way so with all that said a word to the wise its probably best to go elsewhere when you actually want to be able to eat the food you pay for
They messed my order up so I had to go back around and get them to fix it they messed up again the food was cold burger wasn’t fresh neither was the bacon on my burger or my fry’s can make some one sick
This place is terrible the employees are very rude to each other it’s pitiful the management doesn’t do anything about anything that happens they sweep things under the rug my opinion this place is a disgusting 🤮 environment to be in i have also seen a rat running around where they take ur order outside there’s rats now
EVERY time I go to this place and order through Drive-Thru, my orders are ALWAYS WRONG! They need to hire people who can read tge orders on the screen! I've worked fast food for years, there's mistakes, but than there's employees who just don't care.
Came in around 12 at night. The guy at the counter doesn't give me time to scan the menu before asking if I'm going to order. I remarked that I'm looking at the menu to see what I want. He turns to look at the menu. I should have left but I ordered anyways. Paid for a meal and didn't recieve a cup for my order. I see good reviews so this must be a night shift thing.
I was supposed to have got the number 13 chicken strips meal with drink. I did not get that. The boy charged me for 3 chicken strips .. toast .. gravy .. and small drink. They were priced separately. NO french fries. The boys name was Justin
9/12/23. Well this time I did drive through and they once again gave me Mustard instead of my Oder for Mayo both buns and they left out my gravy I got for my fries. So no improvement !!! 7/23/23 Not sure what happened but 4 out of five of our orders had mistakes. And the burger was just not up to par. Fries were not hot. When someone ask for Mayo both buns put mayo on both buns. Burger was dry, and the bun semi tough. Not fresh! The guy walking around asking if you needed anything was the only positive. Cashiers were nice as well. The kitchen/ cooks Ummm well they need training.
Teri D at whataburger is rude & disrespectful, i went in to get a chicken sandwich, she was taking my order & telling me what comes in it, i said that was fine & told her to add grilled onions, cheese, & pickles, i couldn’t hear her at first when she was repeating it back, she talks to low for me to hear, i then said to put whata sauce she said something back but it sounded mumbled then she let out a big sigh & rolled her eyes & proceeded to yell at me that “it comes with mayonnaise & whata sauce now, is that okay?!” she was so rude & disrespectful, she was speaking to low & was mumbling obviously i couldn’t hear her & understand her, not sure how this whataburger has 5 stars when some of their employees are very rude, inpatient & disrespectful I didn’t come off rude at all & she did not have to speak me that way, she’s grown & i’m just a kid, not a whole grown adult yelling at a kid. Not sure if it’s just the Night Shift employees that are rude or the whole establishment is rude, inpatient, & disrespectful, I hope I don’t find anything in my sandwich tonight & i hope i don't get sick other
Food is good. Workers are pretty terrible, always have an attitude. Food is always made hastily and orders are regularly wrong.
Service was so bad. Their was only 1 girl working counter and 15 people working in the back. This was a friday night after high school football game. No sugar in sweet tea . The milkshakes were not even mixed well. They forgot part of our order and by the time they brought it it was cold nasty greasy chili cheese fries.. $48 down the drain will never go back
My bacon cheese was so loaded with mustard that all you tasted wad mustard when I ask for mayo. French fries was Luke warm . Next time I will check my food before I leave the place.. The workers were more concerned about ordering their own food.
Not a good experience at all. Staff was not professional and shake machine not working. They got both orders wrong. And I noticed while eating this horrible meal the staff was cutting up and at least 5 drive thru and dine inside orders returned to be redone because they were made wrong. Seems like a attitude adjustment is needed for the staff. Plus being from Corpus Christi,the town where Whataburger started ,I would have never had this type of experience.
Sorry for holding up the line a few minutes ago. They forgot my fries. Just got home. Fries are cold and I mean they are not warm. Didn't get my jalapeños I ordered. Hamburger flattened again. That's it. I don't like this WAB anyway. Nothing but Juicy Burger from here on out. If you want to experience a REAL WAB. If you ever go to Midland stop in at the I20 WAB as you come in. The service here is absolute trash. The night manager needs to check their staff. Wouldn’t add something to an order because it was asked for at the window. And on top of that she had a nasty attitude. News flash to you people that’s why nobody likes you. And the reason why places lose customers. Absolute trash.
Came in during the night and waited. A blonde girl, I think the manager, told me the lobby was closed, but there was no sign indicating such, and when I asked if they were doing to go orders, she just walked ignored me and away. Felt pretty disrespected and it was an unpleasant experience for me, and I didn't get to eat.
Went through the drive through and ordered two chicken sandwich meals. My total wait time was around 25 minutes. Multiple people ordered after me and got their before me! When I complained I was told “it’s being made fresh”. Isn’t everyone’s food made fresh? I was offered an Apple pie for such a long wait. They won’t miss me as a customer but I’ll spend my money there again!
Went thru the drive thru and while attempting to place my order, the person taking the order kept interrupting and giving us a smart mouth attitude. Stated we were going too fast, but he kept interrupting instead of just listening. Worst drive thru experience ever.
This is the second time I've had a run-in with this particular manager (Tiffany), my wife has done a mobile twice and my sandwich has been made incorrectly both times. And both times I have been given an unreasonable amount of attitude over having to throw away food which was made wrong. If you see her, find somewhere else to eat, cuz it ain't gonna be worth it.
So I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich combo with fries and a drink. I pull up to the window. The employee does not confirm my order. She just hands it to me. I asked her if I could have some spicy ketchup for the fries. She says yeah it’s in the bag. I say OK thank you and I open the bag and I don’t see any ketchup for fries. So then I see a young gentleman walking by and I asked him if I could have some and he says he will go get it. Then she shouts really loud was there no ketchup in the bag? I said no ketchup in the bag and also no napkins. She was like oh my gosh I can’t believe it. Then I look at my chicken sandwich and I see that it’s grilled. I had ordered a crispy one. I also notice that they put my sauce on the side in a little container to go, but they didn’t put a plastic utensil in there to apply it with. So all in all I would say that this Whataburger is not worth going to because you’ve got someone working the window who won’t even look in your bag to doublecheck something when you ask politely. They just flat out say it’s in there when it’s not. On top of that, won’t even confirm the order to make sure it’s the correct order.Then they act surprised when you point all of this out to them.Just pure laziness. It’s amateur hour over there, and we can’t even supply our customers with napkins let alone get an order correct.
I literally order the picture on the menu. A number 1, no additions, no deletions. Not only that, it was an app order, literally spelled out in black and white. The tag on the bag literally said 1 -WB. When I got home and opened the bag, did I have a number 1? Nope. I had a single patty, grilled onions, sweet and spicy sauce. Nothing remotely close to the number 1. I appreciate fast food, but does it have to be so fast that you can't even get the absolute original menu item correct. And the price... when you're picking up food through a windiw for more than the price at a sit down restaurant... c'mon, give me some effort. They were not understaffed and they were not too busy. I saw plenty of employees and the line was not wrapped around the corner. I'm not sure what the excuse was this time, but I'm sure someone has one.
I ordered online and came in today to get my food i put NO ONION AND NO MUSTARD the only things i took off and they put absolutely nothing on there but onion. pay closer attention to the orders workers.
We went through the drive thru, and ordered two chocolate shakes. When pulling into the window, we were informed that the chocolate needed to be made and mixed and asked if we wanted a different flavor. We said no, and asked for our money back. The lady at the window scuffed at us and closed the window. We waited a few more minutes before she opened it again and told us that someone mixed up the chocolate in our shakes for us, handed them to us and told us have a nice night. As someone in customer service, I'm upset that the lady did not inform us when we were taking the order(since she was the one who took it), and instead of getting us our refund she just improvised our drinks. She could've given us the choice to take our drinks back or still want a refund instead of simply handing us the drinks without another word of us wanted our money back.
