3 people ate for under $40! Can't beat that! Good lunch specials and awesome food! Was short staffed when I went... so the wait was kinda long for 3 people eating there at the time lol. But it was right after Christmas so it's to be expected. Other than that... the food was SPOT ON!

i’m proud to say that my server Emily was the pleasant and sweetest person that I have been around all day. She made the end of work day turn from issues to relaxing. I will be back. Please keep trying your employees this way but I think it comes from the person first.

"Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in..." I will start with that quote. I didn't want to give another bad review of food places here, but this location asked for it. My beautiful Wife and I decided to go to applebees and use a BOGO coupon. Here we go. First the place has gone to crap in looks and quality. This location lately has had a horrible smell of sewage or lack of cleaning in the restrooms. I've smelled truck stops better that this. To start my wife ordered a white wine, her glass was dirty. We ordered wings (which in the past were better than other wing places.) I ordered them extra extra extra crispy (like we like them), well they came back soggy and raw, blood dripping after taking a bite. Also ordered a bacon cheeseburger with smokehouse sauce or something like that, well as the burger shows, hardly any sauce in it. I asked for mayo, and they brought out smears of mayo. The response was, "that's how they do it". I asked for another mayo, they brought out another "that's how they do it". Horrible service and food, dirty glass, smelled like we were eating in a port-a-john. There was a manager walking around asking other tables if everything was OK. We were avoided the whole time, for the price we paid, even with a BOGO deal, we should have gotten more than we did. It is unfortunate, because we really liked applebees, maybe a management issue, or probably crew just doesn't give a crap. (no pun intended). Would be nice if this place straightened out, because there is a real lack of restaurants in Palestine. Well that's all I gotta say about that. Revised: Well after a few discussions, we made it back to Applebee's Palestine. I will have to be very honest...The food and service was 11/10. We were very pleased with the service Vanessa provided and the food was a 10. We tried to go back over this past weekend, but Vanessa was not there, we were told. We will be going back and try those wings again...I'll cross my fingers. Overall, my Beautiful Wife and I were happy customers again. Keep up the good service and food quality.

Great people, great drinks !! They forgot part of my daughter's meal, wasn't a big deal but they still have it to us free. It was super clean, and everything was super tasty. Not a big menu but still not a bad eat.

Excellent food and great service. However the building is badly in disrepair. Both entry doors are damaged, booths have tears in them, carpet is filthy, ceiling tiles are warped, stained and woodwork needs spruce up.

Ultimately it’s an Applebee’s. 4 stars is the best I could give it based on what it is. The food was decent but the service was lacking.

With less than 5 tables total it took an hour to recieve basic lunch stuff. Waitress blamed it on the kitchen being backed up... customer service has rapidly declined. Chicken was sad and dry... but pasta was good.

The place was good enough because Chili's was crowded (our first choice) it was a bit rundown and in need of repairs. The roof was leaking so badly that they had a bucket right behind our table. I feel like they could have seated us in a less inconvenient spot.

Bar tender did great. New drink Double Jacks was pretty good. They've added a patio eating area since I was here last. Didn't like the fried food batter or oil, if you like sonic' s fried food you will like it here. Didn't like the cut I had of steak, about half of it was too hard to eat maybe because it was the 6oz or left over cuts.

We ordered the BBQ wings as an appetizer and we're disappointed when we were served buffalo wings. Took about 10 min to get our correct appetizer and then our food came out 5 min later. I ordered the 3 cheese chicken penne and it was hot and delicious. Overall it was an alright experience, but there's definitely room for improvement. The bartender was very good with her customers and seemed very friendly.

Usually we order to-go, and never have any issues with the food, but we actually went inside to eat this time and it was not that great of an experience. Our mashed potatoes and French fries were cold, and shrimp wasn't really grilled. Our server wouldn't just stop and listen to us, he almost seemed uncomfortable stopping at our table for longer than 10 seconds. We would ask for something and he cut us off, said "ok" and took off before we even finished. Plus he didn't write anything down, he tried to remember everything, so he ended up forgetting things. The manager was very kind though, she did make sure my meal was fixed and personally came to make sure everything was OK. A separate server stopped at our table to ask if we needed something more times than our own server. It was weird. Maybe he was just new or nervous. But it made it uncomfortable.

Palestine doesn't have a wide variety of places to dine so Applebee's is one of the options. I have been there a few times over the years and the restaurant is getting progressively worse. The service is adequate but the food is terrible. During my last visit there, I ordered some ribs and a steak from the 2 for 28 deal. The ribs were fine but the steak was awful. It was dry, bland and had zero flavor. Even with steak sauce the meat tasted like it was old and inedible. I don't recommend this place if you decide to eat but if you're there for a drink you should be fine.

Rather ignored by staff. Had to ask for menu. Strong drinks. Manager hung out with staff, and called out for someone to answer the long ringing phone. There was a baby in the bar. Didn't notice the touch tunes until almost leaving. Paris the bartender was good, but training, supervising, working and cleaning all at the same time.

Nice waitstaff, food came quickly bartender served responsibly, seen him deny service to minors and would only allow a limited number of beverages that were of higher alcohol content. I applaud that, overall good adult atmosphere.

Well, my pregnant wife and I waited for a good solid 8min before even spoke to. Once someone acknowledged we were there. We waited another few minutes to be seated. They look understaffed for the most part. A lot of uncleaned tables. Seemed to be only 3 girls for the whole place. No One Cleaning table but the servers and the ones who are there are just to overwhelmed. Once we finally had a server. You could see the effort for customer service, but again being overwhelmed starts taking a toll on how well you can take care of a customer. The atmosphere was uplifting I seemed to be in a club to an extent. Music was at a good volume, and despite the lack of staff everyone was at least enjoying themselves for the most part. With more staff, I feel like I would come back, but with it being dirty and how long it took. I wouldn't really come back.

Service was horrible, we waited over 20 min and no one came to even get our drink order or introduce themselves as our waiter/waitress. When we walked in we saw a large table with five or so plates of food. Looks as if only a bite or two was missing from each. We just thought maybe they had an emergency and had to leave in a hurry. Had to wait for our table party of 4, to be cleaned. We ordered and about 20 minutes later the waitress told us she only had one half rack of ribs. We reordered, crispy chicken salad. Could not get extra dressing for the dry salad until chicken was to cold to eat. Last half rack of ribs finally came and was almost to tough to cut and to dry to eat. We will not be back for awhile. Not sure if they had a new cook or what the problem was. Waitress just said they had been swapped, yet several empty tables.The manager of the Palestine Applebee's did comp half of our meal, which we appreciate, but would rather go away full and happy, rather than comped.

They went downhill. We went for drinks. I got a margarita that was basically all mix so I told them and it took 10 mins to get me another which was the same thing I had because I watched her pull a glass up out of the freezer that was already made, she poured it in a shaker and added water and even told me she added water. Um dont think margaritas have water. Service was messy. We didnt get drinks

They microwave their vegetables, barley clean glasses and silver were. Bar drinks are terribly over priced and are weak. Margaritas taste of dish soap. They switched from franchise to corporate a few years back and fired people who had worked their for 10 years. Dropped their good beer got rid of their neon bar signs. Untrained staff, soggy food, and unclean eat/drink ware. I've seen people send a steak back 4 times for being undercooked. I like to places to eat just to watch other people's experiences at other tables. Some have a good experience but I have noticed a significant decrease in quality, service, and value over the last few years.

The salt tasted like salt. Everything else here is just plain low quality and bland. My early father's day celebration was ruined.

Absolutely HORRIBLE service. Wouldn't even give one star if I could. We got there and sat at the bar, ordered our drink and was ignored for a good 30 minutes. Finally asked if we could move to a table and then got no service, again. Had to finally flag someone down to get help. Got our food and it was missing items, could get no service to get the items. Then finally we just wanted to leave and we're waiting and waiting and saw our server sitting down at the table next to us and had to say can we please tab out? There were literally employees sitting around ignoring people. People even came in and were just standing around and I think finally left due to getting no help. Will NOT be back to this location.

Server was great . Food at proper temps..there were less than 5 people in the restaurant and it took 15 to 20 min for a refill on wongs? Sorry guys that sucked. There should be some kind of false advertisement lawsuit against them because those weren't boneless wings some of the pieces were smaller than nuggets literally come on you can do better than this

The slowest out of things no customer service

Absolutely terrible service and will not be returning. Tables were dirty. Waitstaff wasn't very attentive or was able to answer our questions about certain things. We had to wait 15 minutes or more for just our drinks 45 mintues for our food and this was after leaving a funeral. Management wasn't able to hold up the lunch special of 12 minutes or less or it's free. Absolutely terrible!

I’m not one to complain but my experience was awful. All staff seemed short tempered and annoyed by us. First off we got our appetizer and the chicken wings were RAW. It was hardly even cooked. All we got was “oh well get you a new plate” and that’s it. Then they brought us out our burgers and all three were classics when we ordered for bacon burgers. The lady seemed annoyed that we told her the order was wrong. We were not mad because we knew it was the people in the backs fault. But she should have checked.

You need to uncover your 3005 sign. Put it where it can be seen. If it weren’t for the fact that no one came to greet us and seat us we would never have seen it. We won't be back to Applebee's

Bartender was rude. We only ordered 1 drink and 1 dessert. We were the only patrons there so she disappeared for about 30 min and we couldn't order anything else. We could have just walked out but we waited. When she got back she said she was in a managers meeting. When I paid as she handed me my bills then backed away. I got up and she said very nasty "don't you want your change" then she handed me my change then made a smart remark like I'm out of pennies so here. I'm not sure what I did to make her mad. We left a nice tip. So I'm just not sure. We won't be back though.

Since our power went out due to a winter storm, we went to Applebee's for dinner... HUGE mistake! How is this place even in business still? I don't complain about restaurants much on here but $100 later before the tip, and my husband left still hungry on an ALL YOU CAN EAT, because it took 30 minutes or longer in between to even get his 2nd round. My meal had wings, the wrong ones! The drink I order they were out of the mix, so I had tea instead, and they were out of other stuff. The waiter/manager tried but maybe they should hire more people or not have all you can eat if they can't keep up with the demand. And the bathroom stunk like last week's toilet issues! 🤢 And, $100 something before the tip is not worth it when the food taste like warmed up cheap hospital food! Never again! 😒

They took 90Mins to bring us our food. Then it was cold. 🥶😧 Very disappointed. Apple bee's is usually pretty good. Then the server spent more time with her "friends" then paying attention to her costumers who would tip her. If she was super busy. I would have understood but there was maybe 3 tables she was serving. They need to get their servers trained.

We ordered, & couldn't get the condiments for the order, then our waitress went to the bar & waited on someone else while we waited for the cheese for the spaghetti,.. it was getting cold, & only 1 slice of bread with a platter of food,..... There was only two tables counting ours, & waitresses standing around. We spend between $40 & $50 usually , & had tea & coke! If we order mix drinks their continuously wanting to refill them, but they do not ck on their tables well at all !

There were only 4 tables with customers and yet we had to wait a long time for our meal. Chicken and shrimp had so much garlic, we were unable to eat it and we love garlic. Only saw our waitress twice. She didn't bring the sweetener back as asked. Tried to check out, didn't have our check so they had to find her, she was outside. A man brings our chips/salsa who promptly spills it all over our table and says sorry he will be back, he doesn't so I cleaned it. It was a horrible experience. Our waitress never smiled.

We waited 45 minutes to receive the appetizer and then the meal was served 7 minutes later. The appetizer appeared to have been left under a heat lamp for awhile. The chips tasted old, the cheese sticks were hard, and the edges of the quesadilla were burnt. I handle one disappointment when eating out but when you have to wait so long. I will say they looked short handed but this was unacceptable. I will not be coming back to this Applebee's.

In general service and food was good while attending. But prior to receiving our meal the wait staff came to our table to inform us that “ we are ok, but from here forward all guests must wear masks in the restaurant.” At that point management and other staff members began taping signs to windows and doors stating this new policy as we tried to enjoy our meal. Poor customer courtesy in my opinion.

Edit...they did reach out to me ONCE (both the survey folks & supposedly the GM) and asked for contact information, which I gave them. HOWEVER, they have never followed through with actually speaking to me even though they expressed their interest in doing so. None of me & mine (or my friends) will ever drop even a penny in their parking lot again after all these years. Sad how they don't value they loyal customers. A month & a half I've given them to address the issue. If I could give them zero stars I would at this point. That goes for local & corporate. If you give a good review is the only way you get a response apparently. DONE. My order was burnt/cremated. When the manager was notified, she never came to even speak to me. Even though there were only 3 tables when I was there. It was relayed through my server (who was great) that it was the fish's fault it was burnt. I could reorder if i liked, but it would likely come out the same way because the last order of fish that came in was bad. Not human error...fish! As if the fish was running the fryer. I've worked the line in several places. Adjusting cook time is a simple fix. Highly disappointed since we've been earing there since it opened. If it can't be cooked properly instead of cremated then it needs to be 86'd. Or train the line on watching what is actually frying.

Before we walked in the outside smelled of sewer and then inside it was smelly too. No one was at the bar we attempted to find a seat at the bar that was clean and nowhere was it clean and no one was there…we addressed the bar tender and she had to walk to the front door to get a bar rag to clean the bar counter…something is wrong here. We asked for draft beer and she stated all drafts were not working and our choice of beer were their bottle beer of not much better that corona or bud…I have not words except we walked out.

I rarely post any negative comments. This was a disaster from opening the door. The smell of old grease and sewer was repulsive. My first mistake was not turning around at that moment. It was about 2 p.m. on a weekday and after waiting for about 5 minutes no one ever came to seat us so we took flatware and a menu and sat ourselves in the bar area. Not 1 employee in sight on the floor. I could hear them laughing and talking behind the door to the kitchen so I finally went to the door and asked for service. The drinks were very good. It was all you could eat wings and we ordered boneless and our choice of flavor. When they arrived I took a bite to discover they were both soured and uncooked in the middle. The manager gave a very light apology and removed them from the tab. I have been in this business from fast food to very high end restaurants and I would've comped the entire tab for such a disaster. 2 drinks and 1 order of wings but he did not. We will NEVER go to another Applebee's anywhere. Do NOT visit this store.

All you can eat special with shrimp, chicken and riblets was disappointing due to shrimp being almost raw and riblets full of bones. This was a favorite restaurant for our entire family but this experience makes me think of spending my money somewhere else. I would suggest that you select another restaurant.

I can not give a proper review being that we waited roughly 30 minutes before we received our drinks which were contaminated by the bartender's hair. After nearly two hours of waiting for our food which had still not begun the process of being prepared, I cashed out and left.

My family spent $90 on 4 take out meals for dinner last night. They forgot to include 2 side dishes and got one of the side dishes wrong. My bourbon street steak had so much salt on it I couldn't eat the mushrooms or onions and I had to cut off the outer part of the steak to even choke down a few bites. The rest of the meal went to waste. Not to mention, there was no garlic sauce included. We called the restaurant and requested a partial refund for the side dishes we paid for but didn't receive (not even mentioning the incorrect side or the mostly inedible meal I attempted to consume since they were technically included in the order). However, the woman we spoke to outright refused, claiming "their system doesn't allow them to do that." This may have actually been the worst experience I've had with a restaurant before.

I called 30 minutes early to be on the waiting list for Christmas Day. THEY WERE NOT BUSY and PLENTY of sitting places. One, the " person " who greeted us said we were not on a waiting list and all the empty tables were for Togo orders. I have cooked for multiple years and this was my very first time to ever go eat for the holidays.. It was absolutely ridiculous. Extremely disappointing.

This place need to be torn down or gutted. It smell like they have a serious mildew problem. The food was ok . The thr people in our group pasta was dried had to ask for more alfredo sauce. The chicken tenders and sandwich could of been better. Would not recommend this place until they do something like update and get the smell out.

The bathroom is leaking sewage and is moldy, you will notice the smell the moment you walk in the door. Ordered the nachos. The ground beef was cold. They put raw jalapeños on them. Who puts raw jalapeños on nachos? Disgusting smell, disgusting food. I got food poisoning from their mozzarella sticks as a kid and haven’t visited in nearly 20 years. If the owner is too cheap to hire a plumber, and let sewage seep into the carpet to save a buck, imagine what cost cutting shortcuts they are doing to your food. This was my first time back in 20 years, I should’ve listened to my childhood self. I hope my girlfriend doesn’t get food poisoning from the cold ground beef.

Tenders and fries were cooked way too fast and really hard. Bartender did not even no how to mix up the drink I ordered,she asked a waiter what all came in it... I was the only customer in the whole restaurant(which said a lot),but Liz was a great, supportive bartender. Will not be going back again,waste of my money and time.🙄

I was at apple bees around noon on 02/08/2026 waiting in the parking lot for a friend to arrive. What I witnessed was absolutely absurd. My windows were down as I was enjoying the weather and I observed 3 employees walking to converse. As my windows were down I couldn’t help but to listen as the short Hispanic lady with black hair started screaming and threatening the other two employees! From what I gathered she was the manager and the way she was speaking was not only belligerent but disgusting. She was threatening to physically assault the white lady even screaming at the the other black lady! Her profanity and violence in how she spoke made me leave the Applebees and me and my friend ate else where! I would never support a restaurant that allows their management to treat employees like that.

expensive puppy food - taking order home to our dog... it REALLY was that bad. The steak was so tough you couldn’t cut it, the bread cold, and four cheese mac and cheese has NO cheese and presents mainly as flour and skim milk w chips of bacon. Service was polite but we did have to request silverware. Other items ordered was queso (bland and chips stale), onion rings were hot but not tasty, chicken was luke warm. Garlic mashed potatoes were ok. However - nothing we ordered would we order again. Floor was also filthy. NEVER AGAIN!

⭐️ 1 Star (only because I’m required to give one) A group of us went to Applebee’s after work last night and arrived at 10:45 PM, well before their posted closing time of 12:00 AM. We stood at the front for about 10 minutes waiting to be seated, with no acknowledgment at all. Eventually, the manager told us they had “run out of food” and still had several to-go orders to complete, and essentially refused to serve us. The interaction was rude and dismissive, with no attempt to be accommodating or apologetic. It made us wonder if we were treated differently because we work across the street at Jalapeño’s Tree — regardless, that should never affect customer service. On top of that, the restaurant itself was run down and dirty, which only added to the bad experience. Overall, the lack of professionalism, poor management, and unwelcoming attitude were disappointing. After reading through the many other 1-star reviews, it’s clear this is an ongoing issue. I will not be returning, and ownership seriously needs to reconsider management.

Arrived about 1040pm. Waited 10 minutes for anyone to come out of the back. Bar was covered in unwashed glasses. Bartender came out at 1050 and called last call said the bar was closing at 11 pm because she was tired. Note restaurant is open until 12. They used to have good service there.

Did curbside to go they were late, ordered two fries they gave us two containers but not enough fries for one order, ordered a full rack of ribs gave half, but broke it in two. Then while going in to get it because they were unable to go out they made an assumption that it was our order based on skin color. All ready followed the link that they will give for leaving a poor review and no response.

In from out of town today and stopped in here for a brew, horrible service. When you’re the only person at the bar you should never have to wait on a beer. Was gonna eat too but honestly I’m not spending my money at a place like this. Literally the worst Applebees I’ve ever been to.

I ordered a salad without any chicken, there was chicken on the salad that arrived. I nicely asked for a remake with no chicken as I am a vegetarian and lack the enzymes to digest chicken and other meat. The same salad came back with most of the chicken picked off and multiple pieces at the bottom of the salad. When I pointed this out I was told “sorry,” nothing was done about it, and i was still charged for the salad. customer service felt very inconsiderate, unwelcome and rude. Restaurant was clean, would have been nice to at least have the salad taken off the check.

It's always something, every time we go, there is always a problem. Whether there is no a/c, no servers, bad servers, food was wrong or cold. We haven't eaten there in almost a year and we decided to order online. My husband was going to use the 'grab n go' and they told him they won't go out after dark. So he needed to wait inside (understandable), but now its been an hour since we ordered and still haven't gotten our food. They are busy and only have 2 servers. (I suppose they are short staffed in the back as well.) I was hoping to have a better experience this time since its been so long and we have heard better things. Most likely will cancel our order if its not ready soon and they haven't updated us. If the food comes out fresh then I will revise this post, but I doubt it.

They charged us for an extra shot twice and blamed it in the system. Please check your receipts and make sure they aren't pocketing that extra money for whatever reason.

We just ate here, and sadly, the experience was frustrating from the start. They were out of basic supplies — no spoons for soup, no breadsticks — which clearly shows poor planning or management. The air conditioning wasn’t working, and while our server seemed nice, he appeared to be juggling way too many roles — bartending, waiting tables, fixing the front door, and even working in the back. Maybe that’s why he vanished when it was time for us to get our check. But with only two tables in the entire restaurant, it shouldn’t have been that hard to find someone to help. As I stood waiting, I noticed two employees sitting around on their phones. A what it looked like, the manager went over to them, saw me clearly waiting, made eye contact — then turned away and stared out the window. No offer to help. After nearly ten minutes, I had to walk over and ask for someone to find our waiter so we could leave. The girls didn’t even look up, and the manager just said, “Oh, here he comes,” with no apology. The whole place felt disorganized and poorly managed. No spoons to eat soup? Really? We won’t be back.

This establishment need to get the AC fixed it is 7pm and at least 80 degrees in here. There could be a potential for profit here but why would a customer want to sit and try to enjoy their meal or drinks while they sweat ro death In the Texas heat. NOT to mention the employees I could only imagine how they feel being here all day. I left here feeling sick from the heat. The bartender was amazing and did everything in his power to take care of us. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE COME HERE UNLESS YOU ARE CHEAP AND LIKE TO SWEAT!
