Dinner at Eberly was fantastic. The drinks are outstanding and clearly crafted with care, and the cocktail program alone makes it worth a visit. The menu is thoughtful and well designed, with dishes that feel intentional and balanced rather than overly complicated. Everything we ordered was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The overall experience really stood out. From the food to the drinks to the atmosphere, it all feels carefully curated. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the night even better. If you’re looking for a great dinner spot in Austin with excellent cocktails and a well-crafted menu, this place is an easy recommendation. Totally recommend.
Celebrated a birthday on Feb. 11. The food was perfect, and our server Brittany was wonderful; she gave us hard-hitting recommendations for the food and wine. We ate here two years ago and it has skyrocketed in quality on all fronts. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Austin.
Fantastic place. From the exquisite food to the amazing customer service! Yesterday, me and my boyfriend had the luxury of being served by Jillian. She was incredible. Always making sure we were having the best Valentines and that our food was great! She is the definition of what being a server is. Will definitely be recommending this place!
The food , the service, the atmosphere are good. We arrived friday night and it was crazy getting the parking but they have a vallet that made saved us from finding a parking. After that it was all a breeze. The foods arrived on time and the waiter explained everything that is on the plate which I really appreciate. The quality of foods are really great. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is really nice. Despite the noise of the people dining, the place still feel cozy.
Attended a social club dinner here and had the wagyu steak. It was amazing! The whole vibe of the restaurant was cool and the decor is pretty unique especially the amazing bar. The staff was outstanding and friendly. I didn't really get a good chance to check the rest of the restaurant out as we were at an event but I am definetly going back.
Took my girlfriend out for her birthday and she loved it. It took a while to get the food but everything tasted amazing. The food is cooked to order by professional chefs. The customer service is one step away from perfect. This is a great place for a romantic date. Valet parking was free. If you order steak it will take longer to get your meal.
Very delicious food! Good service and very attentive staff. We got the bread, chick pea fritter, wagyu steak, short rib, toffee cake, and chocolate cake. All delicious! Chick pea fritter appetizer was surprisingly large and a highlight. Temperature of the space isnt controlled very well in winter so dress warm.
First time at Eberly and it won’t be my last. This place is so lovely, beautiful interior, the food was great. I got to try the bread which was meh but the wagyu strip was very delicious. Ordered a medium rare but it came out as a medium which was abit disappointing but didn’t want to make a fuss out of it so I ate it.
My experience at Eberly was one of a kind. My colleagues and I went here for dinner and could not stop raving about the food. Every dish was unique and full of flavor. I had the Texas Wagyu entree and the meat was so tender I could not stop eating. The side of roasted potatoes and Japanese rolls are a must. Also, the ambiance is beautiful. I can't remember the name of our server - maybe Matt? - he was fantastic and coursed out our dinner perfectly. Oh, and the best part is that they have complimentary valet. Can't wait to take my friends here!
Photos of dinner weren’t taken because that is how GOOD the food was. If you are looking for a restaurant that can master seafood, steak, AND chicken. This is your place, down to the dessert every bite left our plates completely empty. Can’t wait to come back again and again. Having experienced such an amazing experience in a while, great date night, birthday dinner, girls dinner, your parents are town visiting, ANYTHING just come here. And best of all not overpriced like every other place around. Run don’t walk here 💯
The Eberly hosted my sister’s wedding reception, and I wouldn’t be able to recommend the Eberly enough! It’s a beautiful location that’s cozy yet classy. We had the reception in the Study, and it was very romantic. The service was amazing. When planning the event, the team was very communicative and kind. At the event, the staff was incredible, being very communicative, personable, and professional. Being the maid of honor/wedding planner, they eased my mind in making sure everything was perfect and went smoothly. The wedding party felt well taken care of, and the bride and groom were able to relax and enjoy the night. The food was actually insane (positive) and much better than any wedding food I’ve ever had. We were a little worried with the party arriving later than arranged that the rush on the orders might negatively affect the food, but we had nothing to worry about. Everyone loved their orders! I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering the location for their reception or special event. Thank you to the Eberly and staff for making my sister’s day so special!
Came early and managed to get a seat but had to leave by 7 pm due to other reservations. Looks like a popular place and best to make a reservation. The mushroom tempura appetizer was very good and highly recommended. The spaghettini is also highly recommended as the sauce is wonderful. Overall a bit pricy but good value. Service was also prompt and attentive with each dish carefully explained.
The atmosphere is always great. We sat at the bar and enjoyed chatting with a few people nearby us. I ordered the fried mushrooms and scallops for apps. The scallops were perfectly cooked and fantastic flavor... highly recommend. The mushrooms are tasty but a little too breaded and oily for me. The lobster pasta was delicious and had a generous portion of lobster. Lobster was slightly overcooked but still very good. The burger was perfect and a great choice anytime. The fries were also very good while hot. I enjoy the food here very much, even if the bartender (female) was a bit snooty. Maybe just having a rough day, wont stop me from returning.
Beautiful spot with excellent greens. The Caesar salad is enough for four people. It's a good level of salty and umami. The salty comes from the cheese and the umami from the egg, so there's no sardines and it is vegetarian. The charred cabbage had good moistness with the sauce reaching the core. This is also for four people so make sure to order wisely portion-wise. The short rib was good and tender. The crudo you should make sure to have a piece of fur with each piece of fish so that the acid makes the tiger's milk pop better. The atmosphere is lovely, either for a date night or a big get-together. Definitely a memorable place to visit with excellent staff.
The atmosphere is really awesome! The setting is really unique and beautiful. They have unique dishes. We had the milk rolls, cheese board, half chicken, rigatoni, and fried cabbage. The pricing is decent for what you get. I find it off putting to get charged a “3% Health and wellness” extra tax on the bill. I would prefer to be charged more for the food instead of seeing a random extra tax fee. Long story short, If you are looking for a fun night out, I would recommend!
Hey, I came to this place earlier today and I really liked it. I enjoyed the food — I especially liked the cheaper filter coffee, which was cooked perfectly with a great taste. We ordered chicken roast as well; the top layer was crispy, the inside was cooked well, and it was very flavorful. We also ordered pasta, but it wasn’t cooked properly. Overall, the food was really good
Had a mixed experience. The vegetarian appetizers didn’t impress, lacking both flavor and creativity. However, the seafood dishes were outstanding. The scallops were perfectly seared, tender, and the halibut was flaky and fresh. If you’re a seafood enthusiast, I highly recommend these two dishes. Overall, the seafood made the visit worthwhile, but I’d love to see a stronger selection for appetizers.
Stopped here with a group of six ladies out to dinner. It started lovely with a hostess and server who were personable. We got seated quickly with a reservation and got water immediately. We began with mixed strings and Wine Japanese buns and a cheeseboard. We ordered the half chicken, two pasta dishes, the halibut, the short rib, And the chickpea fritter. I had the halibut. They tried to get a crisp on the skin, but the halibut wasn’t very warm, and the skin was chewy rather than crisp. It was a tiny portion for the price, which I expect at a nice restaurant, but if it’s a small portion, I expect it to be cooked exceptionally well. The wine was lovely. The cheese plate wasn’t great. It took at least 45 minutes for our food to come after we ordered. The food service was slow, though the staff checked on us regularly and was very attentive. I probably would not stop here again. It wasn’t as good as I wanted for the price.
The service was great and the restaurant is beautiful. It was however cold in the room with the skylight and we had to move. Unfortunately, the food was the downer for us. The bread and butter was $7. I could see that if this was an artesian 🍞 with a luxury butter but this was simply a roll with butter and salt on top. The half chicken was bland, the broccolini and cabbage were undercooked and the mocktails were bitter. We would come back for the staff and the ambience but sadly not the food.
Went for a wedding dinner. The booth was comfortable. Parking was limited and confusing because it seemed to be shared with Pavement. The food was good for the most part. The oyster dish had a bad taste and a weird texture. I love going to oyster specific places so I wouldn't return here for oysters since there is only one dish. I loved the zucchini dish and the crab cake dish. I’m not sure if it is customary for the restaurant to give a celebratory dessert. We didn’t receive one. The wait for the entrees was very long. We had to ask our server when it was estimated to come out instead of being told. Our server was Stratton and he wasn't very active about filling up water for everyone or the pitcher. Instead of wiping up some water that was on the table from a dish, he tried to place things, like the check, down around the water.
The food was okay but definitely not what you’d expect for the price. Very limited menu and definitely not kid friendly even for a 10yr old. On top of that, they automatically add a 3% health and wellness fee to your bill, which you find out about at the end when you get the bill. The service was extremely slow and the place was uncomfortably loud despite the fact that it was not packed. I won't say it was a disaster but I will probably not go there again.
This place- never will go back. We had a date night there/ birthday and sat at the bar. We ordered the rolls- not hot at all- pork chop was very good. My boyfriend offered off the menu special that they were having and ribeye came out rare and was $110. Was never informed of the price or how we liked it cook. We ordered the cabbage and wasn’t informed it was spicy at all. Lack of communication with bartender- Call Friday and spoke with Danny who was suppose to talk to management Monday and give me a call back and have not received a call back. It’s like if you want to complain about your meal- you have to keep on calling over and over to just say, I will call you tomorrow. Still waiting on the call. Never would go here again.
