Had a excellent dinner after a long workday, sweet tea was excellent and plentiful, the chicken fried steak was delightfully tender while it’s breading had a good crunch, and the sweet potato fries with the marshmallow sauce were crazy good, I waitress was Emma and she was extraordinary good. The staff was also super awesome, they put the Stars game on so we could watch.

Jake’s is one of our favorite spots. We always find ourselves there when we’re looking for great food and a great atmosphere. A big part of that awesome atmosphere is how wonderful Emma is. She’s extremely friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, and very attentive. From the second we walked in to the second we exited with our delicious leftovers, Jake’s delivers top notch service and top notch flavors. You rock Emma!!

Had an awesome experience at Jake’s tonight! The food was super tasty — everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. You can really tell they care about what they’re serving. Our waitress Chelsea was amazing. She was super friendly, on top of everything, and made us feel really welcome. She had great menu suggestions and kept checking in at just the right times without hovering. The vibe at Jake’s was great too — relaxed but still lively. Perfect spot to grab dinner with friends or have a casual date night. Big thanks to Chelsea for making the night even better. Definitely coming back soon!

It's been a while since we had Jake's Burger. I forgot how was tasty it was! The burger never disappoints. We got the Jake's Special. It's huge and filling, and the fries were crisp. Too bad they don't have one closer to where we live but we will be stopping by again soon.

Chelsea was absolutely amazing! From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcome and taken care of. She was friendly, attentive, and really went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was perfect. She checked in often without being overbearing, gave great recommendations, and made everything feel smooth and effortless. Chelsea truly added a personal touch that made our night extra special. If you come here, definitely ask for Chelsea—she’s the best!

Last night, the family and I went out for dinner, and while there was a bit of a hiccup at first, the staff truly turned it around. After a 20-minute wait for a server I alerted management and the manager quickly sent over a waiter who sincerely apologized and provided excellent service. The kids were even treated to complimentary desserts, which absolutely made their night! Sometimes, it’s not about the bumps but how they’re handled—and this team did a great job of making things right. Buddy told me this place had amazing breakfast on the weekend. He wasn't wrong. Very much enjoyed it. Business was slow. Bartender told me most people don't know about their brunch menu. Very much enjoyed the food and coffee and service was great. Would certainly stop in again and visit. Overall great place!

Nice looking place, clean, plenty of screens for games. The server Xavier was really friendly and attentive. I got the double cheeseburger. I thought it was just ok. The cheese was not fully melted and the patty was so so. The fries came separate and it was hand cut but needed to be crispier and the center was a tad undercooked. My wife chicken fried steak did look good and my son’s chicken tender looks good too. Overall food was fine but not at its best if my particular order was a one off. I get my dog bathed ata shop near by and a great place to have a meal and kill time.

My first “Jake’s burger “ was in 1985 On Skillman in Dallas Jacob “Jake “ Keller’ was the nephew of Jack Keller ( founder of Keller’s Hamburgers ). Jake grew up in San Antonio and moved to Dallas to start Jake’s in 1985 He sold the business and over the years others have owned it. Current ownership has done a fantastic job of providing great burgers a more diverse menu and a sports bar atmosphere. April at the Sachse location greeted and seated us. Her attentive service was excellent! Had a cheese burger and onion rings. It was very good and the poppyseed bun was delicious. The Frito pie is a winner. They also have a breakfast menu. If you are looking for a classic burger in a sports restaurant, this is perfect.

It was Wednesday date night and we had tried Jake's in the past when it had just opened. The first time our family received bad service by the door staff to the level that we left to another place. This was our third visit so I feel it was time to give the place a review. First, parking is limited due to the design of the area. On a busy night, parking will be at a premium. When you enter, you have to be seated by the host. It's a very spacious sports bar set up. The individual who sat us had a wide open venue yet sat us by the bathroom in front of glass windows with the sun shining right on us. By the time we were done with our meal, the sun was in our face. Our server came by to take our order, her approach was a bit rough for us on date night. We ordered the loaded cheese tots as an appetizer and our drinks arrived. The bathrooms are located in the back on the right side behind the kids game area. The restrooms are clean and well kept. The tater tots had a great flavor with the spicy salsa and cheese. The mother of cashew ordered the chili dog and I had the breakfast burger. This establishment charges you mad money for a side to your burger. As stated, the tots were 4 stars, burger was cooked to order and egg yolk was not hard. The sweet potato fries for 5 bucks were small and came with a candy like dipping sauce. I really don't know if our server was angry, pushy or a bit over but she did come around enough times. I recommend this place for couples but for a family of 5 like us, we'll pass due to budget reasons. Effective food, good environment and just customer service need a taste of Chick-fil-A

Service: fast and very friendly. Texican chicken salad: pale slimy matchstick carrots, dry flavorless chicken, BUT the greens were fresh and the corn croutons were delicious - like tiny fried cornbread bites. Oiginal margarita, frozen, $10 version: aftertaste reminded me of smelly feet. Probably should have sprung for the $12 version. My husband got a burger and a hemp-a-rita and both were good, but the fries were very undercooked

I came in for a to go order. Taylor assisted me, she was super sweat. She did not write my order down and I repeated what I wanted twice. Cheeseburger no pickles or onions with tots. I ended up with a burger, no cheese, no tomato only meat, lettuce, pickle (that I said I did not want) and bread. I came home and added my own cheese after taking off the pickle. I got the single patty and boy is it small. This is not the Jake’s I remember. Quality is not there. Write the order down Taylor if you can’t remember. Disappointed!

I ordered eight items to go. I picked them up, and the lady quickly handed me the bag. I didn't check the entire order because there were several items, and besides, the receipt was stapled to the bag. When I got home, I realized the chicken burger was missing. The restaurant was empty, only three people at the bar, so there's no excuse for them being super busy. Also, one of the orders of fries was only half full. I think for the price, this is ridiculous. People need to learn to do their job properly, that's all.

12/17/2024 Uber Eats spontaneous order review. Was really hoping for the best based on other reviews but sadly, just about everything we ordered was extremely disappointing. We haven’t been ordering-in much the past few months but with the weather change, whole family getting over colds, just needed a break and decided on trying something we haven’t visited before. Everything was soggy, cool>cold temperature, and with virtually no flavor. I give credit to the marketing team on the menu photos as most *looked* exactly as pictured but have had better burgers, fries, and even onion rings at fast food spots - at least that wasn’t soggy and flavorless. 100% NOT recommended. Do better Jake…
