Oh my golly, this was AMAZING. The heavenly fries love up to their name and the breakfast tacos are delicious. The tortilla is cooked enough to have that slight crunch without being over cooked. I definitely recommend breakfast here! Sugar free latte tasted like a delicious normal latte.

Came to this place randomly to meet up w: family & surprise them & this place was really good. The menu had a lot too choose from it was hard to pick what I wanted to eat lol. I didn’t order the bottomless mimosas but for the price & how it tasted it’s a price you will be satisfied with.

Nice clean spot with a lot of natural light and air flow. Stopped in for a lunch and was happily surprised on the quality of food and drinks. The staff were also attentive and helpful...I'll likely go back again to further explore the menu.

We enjoyed our brunch at Capitol Garage. The staff were very friendly and did a great job even with our large party. Highly recommend the banana bread and the home fries from heaven! Will be back!

We had "Brunch" on a Saturday prior to a Broadway performance. They were quite busy but able to seat us right away. It is so noisy that we considered going somewhere else but werent sure we could make that happen in time. The hostess and servers were really awesome, professional and friendly. The Brunch menu is very limited and does not offer much for people with dietary limitations. They do not offer anything from their regular menu during Sat Brunch. We both ordered their brunch burger (med rare). In spite of being packed and having 2 large tables (14-15 people each) they got our food out in plenty of time for us to make our performance. I ordered mine without the bun so the egg on top was very visible. It was raw..I mean the egg white was raw with a paper thin fragment of white on the bottom. They did cook the burgers perfectly which is difficult to do when serving multiple people. The fries were ..well unremarkable. For some reason, when you order a burger without a bun all restaurants and I mean all .. seem to need to fill up the space with extra lettuce, making it difficult to cut up and eat without food going everywhere. Due to the noise and raw egg we will not be going back

I really want to like this place. We have eaten there about 4 times. All 4 times we have been seated by the hostess immediately, but then waited at least 15-20 minutes just to be greeted by a server, (once waited 30 minutes), despite the dining room being mostly empty. Waited another 10 minutes for water, or a soda, and don't expect to be checked on during your meal, even to refill water. It also seems that the staff often check in on patrons at the bar much more often than the dining room. But we keep going back because the food is always 10/10 amazing! So we keep going back for the food, and hoping that the service improves this time, but so far it has not. Summary: Great food. Expect to wait a while for everything. Not very organized. Maybe sit at the bar.

Bad first impression. A lukewarm greeting by the host/bartender, oddly aggressive when we asked not to be seated in a dark back corner of the nearly empty dining room. The menu was not the same as was shown on the website. Apparently there is a new chef, so the menu didn't have the items we were hoping to try. I chose the tofu mushroom sandwich which was tasty but could have used a paper wrap as it falls apart when picked up. It came with a side of fries (lukewarm like our greeting). No side was mentioned on the new menu because it would have been nice to sub a side salad if possible. My companion ordered the taco salad, kind of pricey to not come with a protein, so paid extra to add garlic seared chicken. The rather small and not very cold salad arrived. The chicken was tender but the taste was uninspired. On the bright side, our server, Joe, was helpful and attentive considering he was the only one waiting tables at the time, but we won't be coming back.

This food was really good but unfortunately our server could use a little more customer service skills. We had to ask where our drinks where after waiting 20min after ordering them. She didn’t really come over to check on us unless we waved at her.

It took over 45 minutes to get my food. Yes, I get it that it's the lunch hour but 45 minutes is totally unacceptable. Server who took my order looked annoyed that I even asked her about it. Meanwhile, everyone in my group is tipping her 15% for a take-out order. Total lack of care for the customer. Food was mediocre at best. Salad was overloaded with bitter greens - vinaigrette was on the side in a small plastic capsule that was grossly insufficient to flavor the salad - it was also super sour and did not complement the flavors of the salad. Fried artichokes were tasty, Chicken was good but one piece was undercooked, making it inedible. All in all a place I would never visit again.

I want to like this place, but the handful of times I've been here have been fairly underwhelming. The food is fine. The ambiance is mid, but the location is convenient. We went on a Wednesday night, and the waiters never checked in on our table to realize one member hadn't been served their food. It took us 20 minutes to make sure wait staff understood the problem, and then 15 minutes later they finally brought out the food. Most restaurants would have comped the meal and more. They did a $20 discount on a $160 ticket that already would have received a 10% discount. Service snafus and corrections aside, there's just better food and beverages for better prices near by.

Pretentious and disrespectful. A small group of us wanted to spend enjoy some time here but were completely ignored. When we sat at a table we were told to get up because "we have reservations", meanwhile there's 2 other tables with customers at all. We were ushered outside and made to feel like an inconvenience, and when we sat at the table we thought we were taken to, the server literally threw a different table into another to and grunted to indicate that's where he wanted us. It was covered in bird poop. He said he would he right back to clean it but never came back. After 10 minutes we got up and left while he watched us from the bar and laughed. The worst service in Sacramento!

Made reservations while we were on our way. Our son had a convention to attend to across the street at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center. We were seated right away even though we were 10 mins late to our reservations. The place was almost empty. The server then kept on asking us if we are ready to order. We asked for a few minutes and he kept coming back and we are not ready. A little annoying quite honestly. We were having a hard time mapping the photos on the Google Map reviews to the menu in front of us. Everything seems fried! Nothing was appealing. It was 100F outside and we are not from the area. We felt pushed to order. Now we are waiting for our food, and now do not want to stay in this place. First time in this predicament. Let’s hope the food is okay. Well, the food came and it did not look appetizing at all. We ordered Salmon and Polenta - the polenta is cold under the Salmon that is overcooked topped with bottled sweet and sour sauce (the Vietnamese brand used as sauce for friend spring rolls). The Salmon smells as well. It has overcooked asparagus and chopped zucchini that looked reheated as well. Not fresh. We also ordered the Vegan Chili and Cornbread. The Vegan Chili is super salty! The cornbread - cardboard. Maybe because it is vegan. The photos on Google Maps reviews looked better. I should have listened to Yelp who gave this place 3.0. Had I seen Yelp, I would not have made reservations to this place. Lastly, we order the CG Burger medium. It came well done and dry. Fries looked reheated as well. The only thing we were able to eat was the side of fruit bowl. That was fine. Maybe this is better as a drink place but not for food. I paid for food we did not eat. Bottomline, we paid for food that is inedible and server that was pushy but not helpful.
