The staff was so incredibly nice. They took really good care of us even though we sat at a table outside. I absolutely loved the Jamaican sauce and the tempura crunch bits. I've never seen those at a poke place before.

I went here yesterday for the grand opening and had such a great experience! The food is delicious. I love that you can get seaweed salad as your base. Everything is really fresh and healthy, and the staff are all friendly. I was surprised that this is a fast casual place, but it actually has service- people refill your drinks and take your trash away when you’re done eating. I will definitely go back ASAP!

Island Fin Poke has a food truck. Yup, serving up their food goodness in a mobil format. A few weeks ago, I caught a weekday lunch. The two gals working the truck were fantastic. When I asked questions about ingredients, for the items they were unsure, they offered to quickly call the shop to ask. Despite my questions, they worked quickly providing customer service that didn't feel rushed. The salmon poke bowl tasted great. Fresh tasting ingredients. Quality tasting salmon. Yum. Beautiful presentation. But hey in this economy, the poke protein serving size is on the smallish side as is with all other similar restaurants. I’m not complaining, I understand supply pricing is bonkers now. At least Island Fin is consistent with their serving sizes, which are weighed. I also bought a Hawaiian Sun fruit drink. Luv that stuff, it's not a common product at mainstream grocery stores. So it's a treat to find. Hawaiian Sun comes ins a variety of flavors, made without HFCS. Plus the truck sells soft serve Dole Whip. $6. That good stuff is made without lactose and HFCS. The menu also includes spam masubi $4 each or 2 for $7.

If you're looking for a delicious & fresh alternative to the burger spots at the Delta plaza, this is it! My first time here, they just opened about a week ago! It was great!! My favorite poke spot that I've had so far in the Elk Grove/Sac area. Excellent customer service too! The owner was so friendly and let us try some of their sauces, and gave us free samples of their spam musubi and Dole pineapple orange ice cream! Everything was so good, I know I'll be a regular. They have indoor and outdoor seating in the shade as well. Great vibes.

Kathy and Melissa were very helpful to my dad and I today! This was my second time, but my dad’s first time here. We had lots of questions and wanted to try different things and Kathy was very patient, I ended up getting a matcha drink with crystal boba and I didn’t really like the boba, so Melissa recommended the popping brown sugar boba drink for me, and even switched it out. they even gave my dad and I some dole whip. It was a overall a very good experience!

Cathy is a great person both inside and outside of Island Fin Poke. A very cranky employee at another store got mad at my 5 year old son for knocking something over and made him cry. She invited us to have soft serve at Island Fin Poke and completely turned a terrible situation around. I will definitely be back! The service is beyond amazing and the food is great too. I highly recommend going here to everyone 👍👍

Almost everything here is gluten-free except for a few crunchy toppings which are kept very separate.

Some of the best service we’ve had in a long time at Island Fin Poke. The food and drinks were great, but Layla and Alan truly made the experience. My daughter and I had our dog with us, and Layla warmly welcomed him on the patio. She even brought out a bowl of water and some plain rice and chicken from the kitchen, which was incredibly thoughtful. Alan was fantastic as well. He patiently took my daughter’s order, answered all my questions, and made great recommendations. My daughter is gluten free and had tried to order poke twice earlier in the weekend without success, so third time was the charm. They had a great variety of gluten free options, which made it easy for her to order. He also surprised us with samples of the mango pineapple swirl Dole Whip. When my wife and other daughter joined us, he went back inside and brought samples out for them too. They loved it so much they went in and ordered their own. Huge thanks to Layla and Alan for the outstanding hospitality. Highly recommend Island Fin Poke at Delta Shores — management should be proud to have them representing the restaurant. Service like this is exactly what keeps families coming back. It’s always great finding a place that treats families and even the family dog this well.

Food is legit here the, all of the ingredients are well presented in-front of you behind clean glass windows. The restaurant inside was organized, well kept, bright, and festive in regard to their flagship tropical vibe. As soon as you enter the restaurant you feel as if you were taken on a tropical beach vacation to the Keys or Waikiki. The ingredients, especially chicken and tuna, seem and taste relatively fresh. Additionally, the selection of topping and fixins offer plenty of variety along with unique and more exotic flavors such as their coconut strips and wasabi peas. The workers here are always above par as I have continuously received consistently polite service from them. The one guy who helped with our order was outstanding in his execution of our order- I believe his name was Allen. They serve you in such big bowl. The wahine and chicken makes a good combo - kind of like teriyaki chicken. If you are hungry and nearby, make sure to give this spit a try!

I had been curious about this place for ages, but felt just a little intimidated. I have a feeling many of you probably feel the same way, as I have rarely seen the place get the traffic it deserves. Turns out, there was no need. I ordered one of the pre-made combination bowls-the Korean BBQ chicken. WOW. So it's maybe just a bit more than your average fast food place in cost. The flavor? While being vastly healthier? Damn. If you're frankly just a little tired of Chipotle for the millionth time and want something that can be healthy, filling, delicious, AND priced alright, you're in luck. Give it a shot. Just do it, you'll thank me later. The Korean BBQ chicken in particular had the perfect amount of heat and savory balance that you could hope for. There are many more other options that play around with savory, sweet, and spicy. You CAN have it all today. It's so worth it to be just a little adventurous. ✨️ The employee there was absolutely spectacular. One of the friendliest, kindest, most patient and gracious workers I've come across. Also? She did it all. Knew it all. Smart and subtle with that free froyo sample that hooked me in. The Dole mango is excellent, but the pineapple? THE PINEAPPLE. The serving (which is anything but skimpy, hallelujah) is like the cost of a Starbucks drink, but has way fewer calories, and DID I MENTION THE FLAVOR??? So. I highly endorse the place with my quiet enthusiasm. Treat yourself. Treat your body. Treat your sense of adventure.

The team is amazing they show passion and value. They asked if we need more toppings mid meal, and I love that attention to care. Also, they offered a sweet treat at the end of our meal. Thank you for the amazing experience, and the poke bowl is full of deliciousness.

Absolutely fantastic; great for celiacs as it’s almost entirely gluten free, they have the very few toppings that aren’t completely separate as well. Even their sauces are all gluten free! Plus, amazing customer service throughout, and a really good value for their bowels. The soft serve is great, and their soft drinks are different but I really liked their Kola Cola, different but in a good way.

I am a huge poke person. Gave this place a try but not really a fan. The fish tasted extra fishy, less fresh. I wanted salmon but it looked very odd, so I picked ahi tuna. The topping choices were ok, but I wish they had that classic creamy crab salad. Staff were friendly and place was clean.

The fish didn’t taste very good. It was kind of funky but I got a build your own with only salmon and tuna so I can’t speak for the other protein options.

This is a review for their food truck. We got the chance to try Island Fin Poke’s food truck when Sactomofo had their food truck event in the area. You can check online for details about this food truck event, but I’m surprised about the high rating for in-store. If their food truck is anything like their indoor products, it is not good. I ordered the salmon signature bowl and it cost $17 flat. The bowl was mostly rice and the salmon was very tasteless. The whole bowl itself barely had any flavor. I had to add soy sauce and some of my own furikake seasoning to try and save it. I’m sorry to leave this review but I feel like I had to post this for others because this was really disappointing. I already finished my food bowl as I am writing this review which is why I don’t have any photos, but I hope the owners of the food truck can take some accountability. I don’t know if I had a high mark for poke, but it definitely wasn’t worth it. I’m a huge fan of sashimi and this was just not it at all.

The staff were very sweet and helpful especially since it was my first time here. The vibes of the restaurant was also really nice. I liked the dole whip. I got the salmon bowl and I couldn’t finish the salmon- it tasted extra fishy to me and the color was off. Luckily I didn’t get sick but I wouldn’t eat it again.

This poke spot is located in Delta Shores, and from the vibe, it feels pretty new—though I could be wrong. Walking in, it looks like your typical poke place: a counter, some menus, and someone ready to take your order. They advertise Dole Whip, milk tea with boba, and a few other drink options which caught my eye. When we entered, a staff member greeted us from behind the counter, came around, and handed us paper menus while explaining how things worked. We were already looking at the same menus on the digital screen, so it felt a little odd, but I appreciated the effort. That’s kind of where the awkwardness started, though. We chose to build our own poke bowls, which I usually enjoy because I like customizing everything. I went with white rice, tuna, and spicy tuna. The spicy tuna was premixed with what seemed like spicy mayo—more creamy than I expected. I’m used to spicy tuna being mixed with sesame oil, sriracha, maybe some soy. So this version threw me off a little. When it came to marinades, there were about five options. I asked the employee which one she recommended and she responded, “Oh, I don’t eat any of the marinades here.” That answer was kind of surprising and didn’t help me decide, so I went with the OG sauce. She mixed our bowls and added the toppings, and at the end, there were some finishing sauces to drizzle on top—which I added, but more on that in a bit. Also avocado was extra. So for a base price of almost 18 a bowl it was kind of steep for fast food. At the register, we ordered drinks and paid. Then we were told, “We’re a full-service restaurant—I’ll bring your food and drinks to your table.” That caught us off guard. As we turned around to find a seat, she was already behind us with the food. It was confusing because the bowls were clearly ready, and we could’ve easily taken them ourselves. She then brought over two half-full cups of water, even though I had asked for a fountain drink. I went up to ask, and she said the water was free. But I specifically said “fountain drink” when ordering, and I didn’t get a receipt to check because I clicked “no receipt” after tipping. It all just added to the awkward vibe, so I let it go and started eating. The fish was super fresh and the toppings were solid. But my bowl was *very* dry. There just wasn’t enough sauce, and it made the bowl tough to get through. That was disappointing because I know how good poke can be when balanced right. To add to the confusion, the staff refilled our water cups once a few bites in, but then we never saw them again. If it’s full service, do I wait for more water? Or go get it myself from the soda machine tucked around the corner? The setup was just... unclear. The restaurant seems like it hasn’t quite decided if it wants to be full-service or casual counter-style, and that made the whole experience feel a bit off. Toward the end, they brought us a sample of Dole Whip, which was tasty. But overall, we left feeling confused and a little disappointed. With a few adjustments—like clearer service expectations, more generous sauces, and a streamlined ordering process—this place could really shine. As it stands, I don’t think we’ll be back. We paid over 45.00 for 2 poke bowls for lunch. There’s potential here, but the awkward service and dry bowl just didn’t do it for us.
