The food is pretty delicious and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommend if you up for a quick bite! Will come back!

Food is always freshly made! It’s our favorite local spot for when we crave Hawaiian bbq chicken and chicken katsu

The chicken katsu is very good and crispy. There were a lot of defferent good Sauces. The crab Rangoon was filled with flavors and had a lot of crab in it. The place had good and kind staff. There where a lot of seats to chose from.

Delicious! We just moved into neighborhood and had to check this place out... We got the family meal with BBQ chicken , teriyaki chicken and BBQ beef. We enjoyed everything. The rice and macaroni salad also were very good. And the cabbage was crispy and tender at the same time and a great side. It said it feeds 4 but it fed the 6 of us, with quite a bit leftover. We will be back soon!

Everyone is talking about the cashier so imma chime in. Today was her first day. I guess they fired the rude one. She was nervous but very sweet. I'm a shrimp lover and when I come here I usually get the island fire shrimp. It's really good. They would give rice and macaroni salad with that but I prefer all rice which is an option you can choose. The shrimp isn't that huge but they give a reasonable amount portion size, it has alot of chopped onions, pretty tasty, and it is a little spicy but if you like a little spice in your life then it shouldn't be too bad for you. I highly recommend trying this out if you really like shrimp and spicy food. Had some of the crabcheese wonton things it's not bad as well and the sauce that they gave with it is not what I like but you guys might like it. Oh and fyi the wait can be a little long when it's busy but usually it's like 10-15 minutes for the food to be ready

They have good portions and a large variety to choose from. You can also get the mini-meals which are smaller and perfect for a quick lunch.

I haven't done my usual "2nd to be sure" visit, but my first visit was awesome. Portions are huge, food is great. We did have to ask for them to clean a table for us though. Most places fo not have an outlet for me to use (for medical device) but there were a few available here for me to use.

They have very tasty meals and Great Menu for you to select from but their service is not very warm most times and I don't mean that they are rude and all, but they are always looking too serious.

Sunshine Hawaiian BBQ on Folsom blvd has great food. Large portions of everything ordered. The rice is moist and fresh, the macaroni salad is perfect. I had the chicken katsu twice now, both times it was a bit over fried but still juicy inside. Mu husband had the hawaiian bbq once it was great juicy and tasty, the secind time he got the teriyaki chicken and it was practically charcoal. He just had the rice and mac salad. We will go back, the service is fast and friendly. And the prices are average.

It was good. Not the best Hawaiian bbq I've ever had and a little on the expensive side, but they do give you ample portion sizes.

This was originally a chain store, but now as an independent Hawaiian fast food restaurant it has remained very good food. I'm a little disappointed at how expensive it's gotten, but not sad that I went here. $20 for a combo plate and spam Musubi it's 30% more than I think I should have had to pay, so I probably won't go here all that often, but I am glad this restaurant is in the neighborhood.

Still one of the best hawaiian food restaurants in the area. Whenever we're in the neighborhood, we like to get food from here. Moco loco and fire island chicken are great.

This place is a complete rip of L&L Hawaiian BBQ. The price is costly and the taste is not too great. taste like spam even tho i didnt order the spam entry. Tastes also likke their sauce is just ketchup. if this place is like the food in Hawaii i dont want to go. The cashier she was great and very friendly.

I had high hopes when I saw a Hawaiian BBQ place that want L&L and seemed like a local mom and pop type place. The food was ok. I definitely ate it all, but way over salty and not anything fantastic. The prices are reasonable and service was good enough but it was definitely lacking

Not impressed with customer service. Lady was not very friendly and when I asked about egg rolls she says “what we have is what’s on the menu” so because I didn’t see it right away I assumed they didn’t have any but they actually do. Then she brings our food to our table and just slides the food on the table and walks away without saying a word. RUDE! I try to support small local businesses but I won’t be coming back here

I ordered the combo chicken plate. The portions were large but they used chicken thighs and didn't cut out the fatty parts/veins. They did not provide any sauce for the chicken katsu, it definitely needs something. I will try the place again but maybe order something else. The place was popular for lunch so they must have something tasty there.

I had the fire chicken combo with rice and macaroni.The macaroni does not taste the same as before at all, chicken and Macaroni used to be really good I used to look forward to eating there maybe new owner or different cooks I'll give it one more try and I'll update my review.

For $15, Beef was tough/chewy, and was served a tiny portion of rice (for my standards). The shrimp was okay; deep fried and a good portion. Definitely my favorite part of the meal, especially with tartare sauce. Still did not make up for the taste of the beef. I hope you guys make some changes to the quality of your beef meat. Thank god I’m going to Hawaii next week and can eat GOOD Hawaiian food. Probably won’t be back. Change my mind.

Very rude cashier she was on her phone the whole time I was trying to order. She had a very bad attitude and gives off a very negative vibe ...changed my order to go! I really wish they would get rid of her so I can actually enjoy my food fresh and hot.....

First time I went it was very great, the second not so great. I got a veggie noodle soup & the cabbage & chicken had mold in it. I took it back & they were nice enough to give me another one but once I opened that one I noticed they used the same exact items as the one I returned.

This use to be ok now its just no good. Meat is plain overcooked and the mac salad taste like ... well nothing there is no flavor. Avoid this place save your money for real Hawaiian bbq LNL.
