Squeeze Inn at Sacramento Airport offers decent burgers, especially the cheeseburger with the cheese skirt, but quality is inconsistent. Service can be slow, with long wait times reported. Prices are high, as expected for airport food.

The lady checking us out was so nice, and the breakfast sandwich was awesome!! It was definitely an unexpected pleasant surprise before an early morning flight!
Here at the airport. Very friendly staff. They were nice to give me a cup of ice and a straw, even though we didn't order a drink. The burgers are good-sized, tasty, hot, and decent for the price, considering you are at the airport. The staff seems to be keeping the counters clean, and even cleaned the light fixture on the outside of the store. There are not many places to eat in Terminal A at Sacramento International Airport but this is our favorite.
This was one of few options available at Terminal A at the Sacramento airport. I got the fried chicken sandwich ($11.50) and my partner got the squeeze burger ($13). We both added fries ($7.50/each). So it was quite expensive for what it was. Service was quick we waited maybe 5 minutes. My fried Chicken Sandwich was very good. The fries were a little soggy. The experience that was the most annoying/disappointing was that you had to ask for napkins and condiments. They rationed these quite tightly, so I had to ask for ketchup on two different occasions. Having a station with all condiments and napkins that is self serve would be a welcome addition. Consider lowering prices for French fries. I’d probably skip the friends next time- they weren’t very good and they were expensive and I did t get enough ketchup- kind of the source of most of my dining issues!
Staff was extremely polite and helpful. She helped me make my food choice with a smile the whole time. Ordered the double burger and it was HUGE. It’s the first time I’ve ever felt like I got my moneys worth at an airport restaurant. Ended up not eating the extra patty bc it was so much food. This is going to be my go to spot when eating at the SAC airport. Not too many other options that I’ve been happy with after the 10+ visits to this airport.
Surprised by the low reviews. I ordered the cheeseburger and it was ready in about five minutes. The burger was actually huge, and the cheese skirt was a plus. It tasted really fresh and for an airport burger, was pretty great. I would compare it to Smash Burger. I probably wouldn’t have reviewed if I didn’t see all the one star reviews. Maybe depending on how busy they are, the experience is different? I’d definitely go again.
food was good tbh but there were only like two or three options… and the waiting time was insane - I almost missed my flight! also, the price was little ridiculous
Expectations were low since this is an airport restaurant. The location is a good court so not much to say other than their kitchen and order area looked very clean. The staff was friendly and the prices are about what you would expect eating in an airport. I ordered the chicken sandwich so not much of an opportunity to mess it up. Overall great experience while traveling

Really good fast burger. The guy working today at close was exceptionally friendly and pleasant despite working a late shift. Made a normally mundane experience memorable just w his kind of energy.
Having lived in Sacramento, I was excited to see Squeeze Burger at the airport. Unfortunately the experience was not worth the price. Yes airport food is pricey... but then give me the quality!! Cold fries and burger... directly after picking it up. The worse offense....No Cheese Skirt, just a slice of cheese that was barely melted!!!!! For shame on you sullying the name of of Squeeze Burger.... an institution in Sacramento!

After going through the TSA, the first thing you see is squeeze burger l. Never in my life have I heard of this place. After searching for a McDonald’s and failing I decided to buy one. It was actually quite flavorful and the wait wasn’t horrible. I am still gingery however and the burger was super expensive.
HMSHost closed the Iron Horse and raised prices here at the only fast food left in Terminal A, while removing menu options. Monopoly pricing from corporate overlords smh. But I gotta say, the food was great and the service impeccable. Great chicken fingers and fries for $20. $4 Sodas. Solid portions, made my kiddos happy.
Passable food. $22 for a double burger with fries. For an airport the food was alright, quick and hot.
If you're eating at the airport, this is a good bet. Get the cheeseburger - it's smothered with cheddar (which the clerk couldn't differentiate from American). Burgers were large (1/3 lb), toppings were customizable, and prices were better than the competition. Fries were just okay; would prefer a bit crispier.
Staff apologized for the time it took let's just say it took 20 plus minutes 👀⏰️ Burger was ok as were fries. The cheese skirt on the burger was good and salty. Asked for a tip when you only talked to someone at the end to pick up your order just seems a bit forward. Wish they had the full or more of a menu than the basic things at the airport.
Had a great cheese skirted burger here today. The lady running the grill was awesome, unfortunately, the cashier left a LOT to be desired as far as customer service goes. Not once did she smile, or even offer up any pleasantries. Guess she was having a bad day?? Oh well, burger was definitely worth it with the “cheese skirt”.

Ordering was easy via the self-serve touchscreen. Only two employees working during a weekend lunch rush, but both were efficient and polite & my total wait was under 15 minutes. The burger was slightly overcooked, but still quite good and right in line with what I'd expect from a $10 cheeseburger at a casual chain. But it's in an airport so it cost $15. Be sure to grab a handful of napkins, you'll need them!

For airport food, it’s on par. It does take a while, 15+ minutes to get your food, which they do give you ample warning before ordering. Hamburger is pretty good, fries are okay. Definitely like the extras, tomato, lettuce, mayo. Give it a try. Price is on par with other airport prices.
06/21/22: Order some burgers and fries to have with my parents while we waited for our flight to go back home. I have low expectations for airport food (high costs, slow service, etc.), but I was looking forward to the famous cheese skirt on the burger. My parents approved of the burger and said it was pretty good, which is a very big plus since they are super picky. I thought it was decent, not the best. With the limited restaurant/food selection at this airport, the service was super slow. The employees were working hard. It’s just not enough of them working. It took probably 20-25 minutes to get food and that doesn’t include the 10-15 minutes waiting in line. I realized after waiting that they had a self service line. *face palm*
The burger is super-delicious, greasy, and messy...make sure to get lots of extra napkins. I bought the bacon, cheese, double-burger combo; the amount of fries that came with the combo was on the smaller portion size. Over the lunch hour, there was only Order Taker and one Cook, and they were struggling to keep up with the orders.

I travel about once a month and when I do, my one pleasure is to stop at squeeze burger and get the Bacon and Cheese squeeze. The cheese squirt from the cheddar cheese is the highlight of eating the burger. However, I was so disappointed on this recent trip. When I received my burger, it didn't have the usual cheese skirt. They had replaced it with American cheese. It's unfortunate that they made the decision to make this change. I will not be ordering from Squeeze again.
Basically only place to eat unless you sit down in the wine bar. Says best burger in town, well I eat plenty of burgers on the road so I had grilled chicken sandwich. What a disappointment, cold and others said they grill them early n reheat them as ordered. Will say fries were hot n good but sandwich was bad. For the price I would be embarrassed to serve t h at sandwich. Won't be back!
6/26. Maybe the oil was old because the fries tasted ramped. Yoon edible. Hamburgers, marginal, and the famous squeeze burger no longer comes with a cheese skirt overall, very disappointing.
It’s AI self served to order. I couldn’t tell that nobody was there. I placed my order and never saw anybody and couldn’t hear any cooking. Other people were already waiting. One of them was an airport employee. I started saying hello, hello and was just looking around when, finally a young woman walked up and asked what’s ups and I said is there anybody working here? I told her I placed an order a while ago and other people had placed orders as well. She said she has to leave during her shift often and has no idea how long she’s gonna be gone and she turned away. There was more people that she turned away, than she served. She didn’t apologize for it being unattended to her work site and actually was a little upset people wanted assistance. Had I known how to get a refund from the AI register, I would have. I was trying to find somebody for 20 mins. Other people that were waiting to order, over head her and just left, after she told them I have to leave and have no idea how long I will be gone This is the Sacramento airport where people are catching planes and needing to be served. I will pass next time on 2 things. 1) AI ordering and 2) #SqueezeBurger at the Terminal A, at the #SacramentoInternationalAirport.
Expect a 20+ minute wait for your food. Fries were old and a bit soggy. The burger was decent but not worth the price or time it took to be made. Airport food, what can you say.
Our flight got delayed for one Hour. This is in the morning around 9:30. We ordered from the Breakfast Menu. My Burrito did not have a good flavor. Sandwich was not that great at all.
Had a few hours before my flight. I decided to try this versus your typical airport bar and restaurants. Never heard of or had Squeeze Burger. The burger alone was filling. Good 1/3 lb. patty. I gave 2 stars b/c they forgot the bacon. Too much trouble to stand in line again and wait.

Burger was overcooked and fries were cold and bland and sparse. Basically bad Wendy’s fries. $19 is way too much even at the airport. And they want to charge for a side of ranch for the fries. Service was equally average. There really aren’t other options at the airport but if you aren’t starving and can wait, I would skip this place.

Took 22 minutes to get my double cheeseburger, and almost missed my flight due to the excessive slowness. They only have like 5 menu items, so there's really no excuse for it to take so long. None of the employees seemed to have any sense of urgency or efficiency. The employee serving food up front was divying out tips to the other employees, wearing the same gloves she was using to serve the food (pretty sure that's a health code violation). I would say to go elsewhere in SMF terminal A for food, but there's only 1-2 "quick" options anyways, and this was far from being quick!
$23 for burger, fries and drink and it was sad. First, it took very long to get it partly due to only one kiosk to order from. The burger was under seasoned, overcooked and the cheese skirt thing was stuck to the paper so it all had to come off. Very disappointing. Very expensive. Very below average.
You would think that after paying $25 for a hamburger, fries and a drink that the food would be spectacular. Not at all. Cold burger with little to no flavor. Fries were decent. Service was great!
The worst food in 20$ ever. Their burger was not only hard but so full of bad oil taht it hurt my throat. Manager is just loud and not helpful
Horrible service, they are the only place open with real food in the airport and they act that way, The manager or owner, absolutely rude, Told him of a dietary restriction and was told they serve it one way only. I would not buy anything from this place with his money! This type of attitude and poor customer service doesn't belong in an airport. He is looking for a fight and to antagonize you. A take it or leave attitude. I would rate it zero or less for service. If you value your health skip it. NO SEATING!!
Airport squeeze burger location 45 min wait My number got passed I asked where 101 is at. Response “ oh I’m sorry we gave that to someone else. We will remake it for you” Another 10 min wait. Burger was burnt and honestly the worst burger I have ever had. One cook with 4 people watching and the manager no where to be found.
24 bucks for a burger that was very small for the price with hardly any fries and no beverage that tasted just a little bit better than cafeteria food. They also ran out of ketchup. What kind of burger joint runs out of ketchup? Complete waste of money. I will never eat there again.
Prakash the manager was horrible. Used Kiosk and got double order. Asked to change order and was told we need to go to the office downtown. Told him we had a flight in 20 min. He said sorry, that’s the way it is. Soggy fries and horrible customer service! Way overpriced and terrible quality!
I had 40 minutes until my flight boarded. I thought that was enough time to order a pressed burger and fries. NOOOOOOOOPE. I didn't realize that 4 other orders were in front of mine and the staff only work on a single order at a time. Maybe catch on to how slow your operation is when everyone that places an order has to ask when they will be receiving it! Don't waster your time and just go over to the Iron Horse tavern. Service will be faster! What a joke!!!!
Just know the burger comes with fries. They’re purposely misleading with that detail when you use the kiosk.
The airport location does not serve the same burgers as what you’d expect from Squeeze Inn. Cold patty, American cheese(no cheese skirt) cold bun and highly priced. Worst airport burger I’ve had and that’s not a high bar in my opinion. If I’m the original owner I’d have a conversation with this location for changing the signature menu item.

Can’t really knock it for atmosphere since it’s in an airport, but my order was wrong, the cheeseburger was served cold (and they don’t do the cheese skirt here like the original location), and the staff actively tries to hide from customers. Easily the worst $20 hamburger I’ve ever had, nothing like an actual squeeze burger, and I’m surprised they are comfortable putting their name on this sad thing.
First, they sever you with burger that already been cooked and they just put on the grill for 4 seconds to warm it up the food is cold and bland! The cashier and the cook have attitude. This is way different from the original squeeze burger, McDonald taste way better.
