The Sushi was excellent. Even though it was a soft opening and the staff were very new, the sushi was great. The server seemed overwhelmed and the gratuity was automatically added, even for a party of 4. Wish we had more time because it was very slow... But again, excellent food!

Great place to eat if u love sushi. Food is always fresh, the shrimp tempura is so good, literally will burn your mouth because it's freshly cooked. Beef hibachi is so tender!

My husband and I love this restaurant. We have been there 4 times in the last two months, even inviting his brother and his wife to come with us one time and they also loved it. The waiters are all very friendly and the service was fast. You pay one price and order as many times off the menu as you want and you definitely get your money's worth. I tried a few different kinds of sashimi that they offer. My favorite is the salmon. The others were good also. We will definitely keep coming back!

From my order Sushi rolls and pieces by themselves all came out in a timely manner and tasted clean/fresh. Service was exceptional. Hibachi steak and Short Ribs were pretty incredible. Also the 15% surge charge for wasted food only applies to RAW FISH ITEMS ONLY!!!!! Other than that it's a good time with good food.

Was here for dinner last night...first time..of many future! The food was excellent and fast.. everything was delicious..but a few stood out..Hibachi steak so tender and flavorful.. tempura shrimp juicy and plump like they just got pulled from the sea... The crab Rangoon were next level... and every roll was remarkable. Excellent and attentive service... clean and fast too... Awesome price for what is involved.❤️😍

You can’t beat the price for lunch. Our food came out fairly quickly and our host was very friendly and give us suggestions on what to order for our friends who do not eat raw fish. The quality of food was also pretty good considering the lunch Buffet was only $20. We definitely plan on coming back.

We enjoyed our lunch here. It was a very clean establishment and they have plenty of tables for dining in. It's all you can eat, with a 15% additional charge for wasted food. The portions they bring out are modest, so the additional charge on uneaten food wasn't on our bill since we ate everything. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was good, and for the price of an ayce, it didn't disappoint. We'll most likely be back for another round.

Having an AYCE sushi place that ALSO has Hibachi, Udon, Ramen, and Tempura. Some of the servings were small but you can just order it again so it works out to try a bunch of things first. Definitely coming back.

X
Xyzo (The masked fox)

For the price the sushi is of acceptable quality, but the quantity is insane for only $32. You can also pick multiple sushi rolls over the course of your meal and unless it is explicitly stated, most items are part of the all you can eat menu. One thing that tripped me up and made me wait for an hour is that you have to sign in on a paper with your group quantity. But it is extremely atmospheric and very pretty IMPORTANT NOTICE: RESERVE TABLE BEFOREHAND OR SIGN IN WAS GROUP QUANTITY AT COUNTER SHEET. This place is extremely busy almost all the time

This has become our new go to place!!! The service is fast and friendly. The food is cooked fresh and made to order. Food comes out hot and fresh. They do personal size portions which is perfect for everyone to try whatever they like on the menu. And you can always order more as it is all you can eat!

Came in for lunch on a weekend and there was no wait. Since it was the weekend it was the dinner menu and price which ended up being great because we were able to get sashimi. The food was really good and came out quickly. Our party shared a few items and definitely felt we got our monies worth which can sometimes be difficult with an all you can eat price. Not the best sushi you'll find, but the value for the price is there and we were impressed considering it was all you can eat. Will definitely go back again.

In a nutshell; a good assortment of sushi, tempura, sides, and other food choices for the buffet. Need a lot of food in short wait times once you get your order? Then this is for you. Honestly a good assortment of food to choose from if you're feeling Japanese food, tempura battered food items, and not too complicated sushi choices. It didn't take that long from when the order was taken to when it gets to your table. Granted it wasn't that busy when this review was made so that might have been a factor. Getting seated didn't take that long either. The booths were comfortable enough to get through a long buffet session. Server/s were nice and accommodating. The sushi isn't the most unique but it makes sense for a buffet when you're trying to dish out a lot of sushi to customers so the more intricate difficult sushi isn't what is offered. Still the sushi was good. The food was hot and fresh. The price is justified for the most part. Overall pretty decent place.

I am blown away. Only two rounds in and the service is fast the sashimi is amazing. Update: They got a lot of options on the menu so if you don't eat raw fish you can enjoy other stuff. The menu is labelled so you can avoid what's raw. If you do partake this is the best sushi buffet in Sacramento hands down. Staff was super friendly. If you get Selena your in good hands. Quick to take my order explained how it works and the food comes out quick.

K

Dinner all you can eat - sashimi specifically for me. Lunch offers nigiri, not sashimi ayce. Rolls are small, but that's a good thing because then you can try multiple rolls. Staff come check on you frequently so you don't wait very long when you want more food. Good price when you compare to other restaurants that charge $15-20 for a single roll.

The experience was outstanding! I went here for the all-you-can-eat dinner (11/4/2023). I had a tough time determining what my favorite item was, but I think it's the Tempura Maki roll. The food came out fast, the waiter was on top of our orders and drinks. I will definitely be back.

Heard this place just opened, so I took my wife to try it out for lunch. Food was great. Sushi tasted fresh. Food came quickly. Wish they had more sushi selections. Fried udon noodles were delicious, so got 3 orders of those. There seems to be more items on the menu that my kids might enjoy, so next to will take the kids and see what they think.

Overall excellent experience with all you can eat. The sushi was good (tuna was meh but salmon was good) but my favorite part was Hibachi shrimp, steak and short ribs; and the Teppenyaki beef fried Udon was excellent (the teppenyaki steak with onions was meh). Shrimp tempura and shumai were good, cheese wontons were okay. Chicken ramen was meh. Service was excellent and food kept coming very quickly. Next time I wouldn't mind just eating teppenyaki fried beef udon with hibachi meats and salmon sashimi (didn't try their rolls, they had cucumber). Will come again

Literally such a great place! My husband and I are visiting for work from Texas and stopped in here for dinner. Rainbow roll and Salmon sashimi were DELICIOUS. We also shared the shrimp and steak hibachi meal which was very tasty but honestly we wanted more of the sushi. I'll be missing this place once we go back home.

This is my favorite place in all of Sacramento. The only all-you-can eat sushi place I really like. I don't go anywhere else for sushi. The staff are super nice, the food is super yummy. Can't go wrong with all you can eat hibachi steak and sashimi. Then there's the ice cream. This place is awesome. I'm satisfied everytime I come here.

Very decent for the price at lunch. Overall, the food was good, although the fried noodle dishes and coating on chicken wings were too sweet. Everything was was above average. Crowded at lunch on a Friday, so service was nice but just OK. I'd go again for sure.

This was the best dining experience I've had with my family in a long time. We went for lunch on a Saturday and despite clearly being popular it didn't *feel* overly busy like a lot of places. Staff were very attentive, food was fantastic and prices were very reasonable with the lunch menu especially. The tiered pricing for child ages was great, as my 4yo only ate rice and an ice cream and I still didn't feel overcharged. The Atmosphere is only listed as 4/5 since it's so new there's some emptiness, and the booths aren't secured in place, but they are VERY comfortable. We will be dining here again.

K

I've been to many sushi restaurants and I really liked this one. 1. All you can eat was 32$, which is very cheap in comparison. 2. They have a lot more than just sushi. You can also order sashimi and avoid the rice. Also, grilled hibachi! 3. The service was great, and food came out fast. 4. You can order one piece at a time. None of those three order rules. Usually somebody orders too much and then you have to pay. One piece at a time really perverts that. If you do order too much and don't eat it you'll still have to pay here.

C
Charlette Brannon

There was a wait about 15min or so but the food is fresh and delicious. We tried alot of different rolls and appetizers and it all was great. The rolls do come in full not half's so shareable with your family. The service was great and very attentive and prompt. The atmosphere was great too. Reasonably priced for all you can eat. We will be back for sure. Loved it.

Went out to dinner here and almost chose a different AYCE place because of the lack of reviews here. I’m glad we chose to eat here instead. Our server, Wendy, was the definition of a perfect server. The food was out in a timely manner and was delicious. Most AYCE places don’t include appetizers and ramen, this place allows you to get ANYTHING on the menu. The restaurant is very cute and cozy. The tempura for the veggies was not too doughy or greasy, the fish was fresh, and the portions were perfect. We definitely found our new sushi spot that is full of friendly staff and delicious food.

S
Stacey Gutierrez

I can't say enough about our family's new favorite spot! Amazing service. Amazing food with incredible flavors! We had a party of 9 and were seated within 15 minutes while they were very busy. Everyone in our party were raving about how delicious the food was. I enjoyed the teriyaki salmon, hibachi asparagus, and beef fried udon. It's all you can eat so the portions are perfect to allow you to try as many options as you can stomach. But be careful, it's so good you'll want to keep going. The tip is already included in the price. 😲 We'll be enjoying this place as long as they stick around! Please be kind to the servers... We unfortunately witnessed some rude patrons while there. If you need anything at all, just ask. It's all you can eat, not self service.

A
Aurora Azevedo

I just went there last night for the first time and it was by far one of the best AYCE sushi spots I’ve had here around sac. I should have taken pictures but the food was so delicious it was gone before I could take photos. The presentation on the sashimi was not the prettiest but the fish smell, looked, and tasted extremely fresh. The rolls were amazing, and the hibachi had great flavor and was so tender!

Sushi pizza is my fav and their steak. Not a fan of their ramen. It's the broth that kills it for me I had the beef ramen. Party of 8 at about 1pm, seated quickly, and no limits as long as you eat all your food. Plus I loved that the music is not loud so it was nice to not have to yell or strain to hear one another.

C

I've been here Twice, for a Birthday and also for business lunch. The vibe here is great, the place is very clean and open, the music is perfect, and the food just keeps coming! Hibachi Steak! Ice Cream! All you can eat! The servers are on top of taking orders, getting them out to the tables, and are very welcoming / friendly.

J

Yesterday my husband and I finally rode our bikes to try out our new AYCE sushi spot in the neighborhood. The food comes out quickly, the staff are polite, the vibe is 10/10, loved the music, the bathroom is clean, and the food was yummy. The only items that didn’t hit the spot were the grilled chicken and shrimp, (no flavor). Other than that, the best thing we ate was the unagi nigiri which is on the menu as sushi.

Was looking for an AYCE sushi but my boyfriend wanted more then just sushi, so this was the perfect place to satisfy our cravings! Amazing sushi rolls, tempura, habachi style cooking, and other foods we didn’t get to try out. The ordering was easy and the time the food came out in was super fast!

We drove 2 hours to try this place and we will definitely do it again! They’re located in a really nice shopping center, the interior is very clean with modern aesthetically pleasing decor. Service is phenomenal! Our server was great! She was very sweet, attentive, explained everything with detail and gave very good recommendations. We tried several appetizers, Rolls and Hibachi. I can agree with other reviewers that this is not superior high quality meats/seafood BUT for the amazing, affordable all you can eat price you really do get your money’s worth! The servings were great, flavor was good and they served us fast. We loved it! Totally recommend, must try!! Overall 10/10 price, flavor, servings, service and atmosphere.

The food was amazing! We love that the portions are small so you can try a little bit of everything. The miso soup was the best we’ve ever had and the caterpillar roll and the sweet potato roll were a favorite. My husband and I enjoyed the all around service and food. We will be coming back for sure!

L

The food service is fast, like within minutes of ordering. Other AYCE places would make you wait 10-15 minutes. The waiter was accommodating to my many requests for my kids like extra bowls, forks, etc. The short ribs were soft, freshly cooked vs other places where it's been sitting for a while, overcooked, tough and chewy. I love a place that lets you eat sashimi without limitations.

Tsukiji Sushi offers an impressive variety of food options and flavors. The highlight for us was definitely the sashimi, not just for its freshness, but also for the beautiful presentation on each dish. Another great feature is the addition of cooked steak on the menu, which is a nice change of pace when you’ve had a lot of raw fish. The price is very fair for an all you can eat place and is right next to a Walmart, so you can go shopping beforehand. My wife and I absolutely love the food here and it’s become our go-to spot whenever we’re craving sushi. Overall, I’d highly recommend Tsukiji Sushi to anyone who loves sushi. The comfortable atmosphere and diverse menu options make it a standout choice.

The quality of raw fish was just okay, but all dishes were pretty good. I highly recommend all Hibachi dishes, especially beef short ribs. The place is clean 4 out of 5, the service is fast 4 out of 5 and the price is reasonable 4 out of 5. If you're hungry and want to try some Japanese food for good price this is the place to go.

Fairly new ayce sushi, hibachi restaurant in natomas area of Sacramento. Had to try the place as my friends and coworkers raved about this place. In all not bad. Went for lunch. Very reasonable price. Ordered off the menu which was not restrictive or limited. Everything is made from scratch, you can hear the pots and banging and I watched the cooks roll dough for shu mai, and cheese rangoons. The sushi line was impressive. Try it for lunch. 11:30am to 2:30pm.

I'm so glad we finally have AYCE in North Natomas, and it looks very promising. Husband and I visited during lunchtime, and you can order everything on the menu. You get good value for $19.99 per person. This place has just opened, so I urge everyone to give it a try.

Came to watch a movie, decided to eat here for dinner. It was a great choice in the end, but I think we came when they were in a shift change as the service in the beginning was struggling a little. We had to wait awhile for someone to finally come sit us down. Our server, Helena, was a champ, though! She powered through 9 tables, including us, as best she could until the next shift arrived. The girl was taking orders, refilling cups, and cleaning tables nonstop. The kitchen staff was also amazing as our food consistently came out within 2-3 minutes of us ordering. The food was pretty on point as well! The miso soup appetizer was a white miso variation which was nice and light and also served as a nice palate cleanser midway. The Salmon Fire Sushi was lightly torched to bring out the flavor of the salmon without drying it out. And the siu mai tempura! It just hit differently, especially with the tempura sauce! Mm, chef's kisses! The salmon sashimi was also very fresh, and the 10-piece version even came in the shape of a flower! Very pretty! The Red Tuna Fire Sushi was also pretty good, which was torched at just the right level to bring out the fatty goodness of the tuna. I think my rice underneath got a little too much torching, though. The Yellowtail Fire Sushi didn't sit as well for me as I think mine was slightly too torched. It was a little dry towards the end. However, the salmon teriyaki was bomb as it had just that perfect ratio of flavor and sauce! Mm~! 🤌🏻 The beef sirloin was also very nicely flavored, it left a good impression on me. What surprised me the most was the seafood ramen! The soup was actually pretty light and it tasted pretty good! The Beef Fried Rice wasn't too heavily seasoned but it was at the right consistency to ensure one wouldn't get tired of eating it midway. The tomago sushi was also pretty balanced on the sweet versus savory as well! Overall, while it still falls short compared to my favorite spot for sushi, as an AYCE sushi and hibachi spot, I definitely would come back again! Just, maybe not when they're doing a shift change! LOL

I enjoyed my time here. Their Tsukiji roll is amazing, freshest crab I've ever eaten. They have 3 menus, a bit confusing for first timers. Tskukiji Roll: Loved it, Spring time in my mouth. #9 Roll: ...tiny?.. both rolls ordered was same price but this roll was 2x smaller than the Tsukiji, why?.. The tempura didn't taste too great either. They used the tempura normally put in bento boxes, deep fried, rather than fresh tempura. Finally, a restaurant with music. 😂😅. The waitress informed me of everything which was nice of her. Place is expensive compared to others with only one good sushi roll. Their menu should revolve around fresh crabs, my personal opinion. Will definitely come back and hope this place improves and thrives.. with a more variety of sweeter side adult drinks. 🤪☺️

The food was beautiful. My date ordered practically everything on the menu, the plates looked very nice, a little bit lacking in flavor, and also, they don't have do the hibachi in front of you.

I had lunch here today. The food is really good and the all you can eat deal is amazing. The service was excellent and the food came out so quick! I will definetly be back.

This place just opened, and there are some kinks that they need to work on, like taking the orders. We needed to flag the server, and they really didn't explain how the ordering system worked. The bottom line is that you can order anything on the menu. The sushi, sashimi, and handrolls came out fast. The tempura, fried rice, and ramen took a little longer. The food was above and beyond my expectations, especially because of the made to order concept. The variety of choices is very accommodating for people who are not into sashimi, sushi, maki, or handrolls.

1st time going. Liked that you can pick anything off the menu for your AYCE. Sushi was good but lacked spunk in my opinion lol lacked like more toppings, more sauce drizzle, deep fried sushi. Most of it was very good either way. Service was good and wait for food to come out was like 5min after placing our order all of 3 times, yes 3 times, we were hungry. I will definitely go back.

Tsukiji offers a unique all you can eat experience featuring hibachi dishes, appetizers, don bowls, and sushi options. Highly recommend getting sashimi for dinner, hibachi dishes and tempura. The hibachi shrimp, short ribs, steak and asparagus are all pretty tasty. As for tempura, they have many options like broccoli, mushrooms, shrimp, and cheese. They also offer stirfried udon plates and fried rice. Be sure to get multiple orders as portions are sized smaller. The sushi rolls are pretty mundane here and fairly average. Our sashimi was slightly frozen the last time but still tasted very good.

Update from 6/30/24 Pictures are from our first visit didn't bother taking new ones this time as the presentation was lacking. Staff is friendly both times we came here so nothing negative there but I don't know if it was an off day but the food quality was not great. We ordered sashimi and it was just slapped in a pile on the plate and cuts of most of the fish was so thin it just didn't have the right texture for sashimi. We ordered fire nigiri and no matter how many time we asked if they could put a light sear on it so it is still raw they still arrived fully cooked all the way through. It felt like we were just eating grilled fish instead of lightly seared raw fish. It almost seems as though the fire fish was prepped elsewhere like the kitchen and the sushi chef just sears it with a torch after the fact to give it the seared tastes because even when they barely torched the fish it was fully cooked all the way through. I'm talling not a bit of raw left and the rice! The rice is just way to overwhelming it was huge above the average amount of rice other AYCE spots in Sac normally use. Unfortunately there's to many AYCE spots in Sac that this one is low on our list of sushi spots hit up for the price. Original review Been wanting to try this place out and it didn't disappoint. You won't find to much speciality items for sushi but their menu has a lot of choices and is pretty good for an ayce. Well worth it for the sashimi and fire nigiri. I did have to ask our server to see if the chefs could lightly torch the fire salmon as the first couple orders were pretty much cooked all the way through and seared nigiri has a much better texture with a light torch to draw the fish oils out but if they do it to much it burns off all that and taste more like fried fish. Spicy salmon handroll reminds me of a sushi restaurant I use to go to in the early 2000's in the bay area so I ordered a few of those. BC roll salmon avocado and cucumber also a fave. Their salmon and hamachi sashimi was good. Hamachi collar was good they cut it up though I'm use to it being left whole it makes it easier to separate the fish from the collar bone. Would go there again if in the area.

We came in on a Sunday night & it was dead. Almost all the sushi rolls are filled with imitation crab meat and almost no fish. Very basic rolls. Reminded me of cafeteria sushi / food. Food came out quick, which was nice, but our server was slow, so it still took ages. Not worth $32.99 pp for low quality food. I suppose if you were a picky eater it would be okay. Restaurant was clean, though.

R

Not too impressed with the place. It was okay the food was good but basic, not a lot of selection for lunch, also charged for fried rice which was not indicated on the menu and our server didn’t tell us. I even asked him if everything on the menu was apart of the all you can eat. Service was fine just wish the server wasn’t so soft spoken so I can hear him.

Food was bland, especially the Ramen. Sushi was not great but not bad either. Service was good and food came out fast. Lots of people inside. Would I ever come again? Most likely not. Would I recommend it? No, not for the price and how bland it is.

R
Ronika

Good food, plenty options for everyone that eat sushi or don't. From tempura to ramen to rice dishes to sushi and sashimi, they have a wide variety of foods made to order. Cons: Service is not all that great. They kinda seem like they're over it every time we go in.

place is clean and good music. i constantly ordered tuna and never received tuna. i kept getting served escolar and they stated it was tuna. escolar is white. the waitress came over and placed a roll on the table. said it was spicy tuna. ordered salmon. then she stated “oh, then it’s salmon. it all looks the same, i didn’t check.” i’d say this place is okay if you haven’t had sushi before.

Inside and outside was pretty okay, but the food was not that good than I thought. Also the service, some of them were okay but most of them are scary and annoying, giving us looks. We wanted to order but one they are busy working cleaning tables and some of them just ignoring. Not bad but not good, I won't come here more than twice I think. (Look at the picture, it made me literally laugh)

Thought it would be bad, but wanted to try anyhow. At least I know now and won't be back. Nigiri salmon had the gristle part on it, if that was actually what it was. Tempura was doughy, yaki udon was actually Chinese chow mein. Had a couple rolls that were tasteless and soggy. But if you are into quantity over quality this will fit your bill. If you want good sushi from Japanese master trained sushi chef's, opt for Fin's House or Chef Frank's. Steer clear if you want good sushi as this place doesn't have it.

The waitress was quite rude. I was a party of 2 and wanted to sit and start eating because I had limited time for lunch. I was as meeting someone there and couldn’t be seated till we were both there. Needless to say that cut my dinning time. Next time I’ll do a party of 1 and see where they put me then join my friend when she gets there. I tried to explain to the waitress and she didn’t care. Will have to think hard before I go back. There are other places like this that are more flexible

C

It's good for first timer only, there not alot of selection. Depends who ur server but mine guy suck, he don't come a refill drinks or take more order. I have to tell other to get him or refill my drink.

This place was clean, updated, and the service was great. The thing is the quality was very much buffet food, the sushi reminded me of grocery store sushi at best. The ramen was bland and not very good, the quality of the food over all was not great. The only things I really enjoyed are the beef short ribs and the cream cheese wontons!

J
James Windust

Food was very bland or not fresh. I believe they buy frozen ingredients because the food was lacking freshness. For example, the teriyaki chicken was tough and dry. The imitation crab was very low quality and had the worst texture and flavor. Only good thing I ate there was the spicy tuna roll and water. The service was great. They were polite and the atmosphere was comfortable. Places like Azukar and Raku have a much better AYCE.

P
Peace_Love_Infinite Possibilities

I want to like them because they made me a Hibachi lunch with scallop gluten free. It was loaded in a sauce and so salty. I think I got my salt intake for a week. The rice was a bit hard. Very one dimensional plate. All cooked in the same sauce. Not worth the price.

B
Brianna Ruiz

I loved the customer service. The environment was beautiful, very clean. The only thing that slightly bothered me was not only Did the food taste like it was Starting to pass due, but the portions were small and very skinny but the prices were hi, I’d have to say I’m disappointed. I had a lot of people recommend it and it was the closest one to my area. The shrimp was fully cooked, but it was placed in Burns sauce. You could taste the burn in the sauce me personally I don’t think I’ll be coming back, but fully respect everyone else’s opinions on it.

First time there today for the All-You-Can-Eat. We were a group of 3 and ordered a little bit of everything and tried each other’s food. Quality and taste of food was not good. The sushi didn’t taste fresh and the other dishes were either bland or too sweet. We won’t go back. Service was below average.

R
Ryan Jeffers

I don't like leaving bad feed back. But not worth the 24.99 all you can eat. Safeway has better rolls, the only thing good was the tempura, and edema.

S

Went for the ayce option for sushi. Do not recommend. There's so many better places. It does not taste fresh, too much rice. One of their waiters I felt stared at us for so long throughout our time. Like, periodic check-ins are fine but it felt uncomfortable. Went for an evening dinner around 7pm on a Wednesday and there was barely anyone. Had quite a few rolls and ordered some vegetable tempura and the tempura batter was too think for my preference.

Went in during the weekend, on the first order we ordered 30 pieces of salmon sashimi and some other stuffs. Sashimi was not in the quality we usually get from this restaurant, but still finished and ordered 30 pieces more. Same bad quality but almost doubled the quantity. Not sure if they served us short in the first order or just decided to give us more the second time, we didn't say anything only feeling a bit confused. However it turned out that we didn't get to finish them all, had maybe 10 - 15 pieces more left due to the obvious reasons above (and I think it's worth to mention that their sashimi slices were actually pretty thin). Asked for the receipt, our waiter came and told us that they are going to charge us extra if we can't finish them all. So we told him the story (which he should have known already), he then went to talk to the manager. We thought this should be settled at this point. But no, receipt still not came after about 10 more minutes. Wow.... So guess we all understand what is going on now. Well I do feel pretty sad at this point, I really do. This used to be my favorite ayce sushi restaurant at the Sacramento area, or maybe even the whole Northern California. Due to them never tried to serve you short on the stuffs you ordered (which a lot other ayce restaurants do) before. But now all has changed, not only them starting to play the quantity games (serving you more than you ordered and then try to charge you for the extra that you couldn't finish), but also the quality (fish was definitely not as fresh as before now). The extra star was only given for the good memories this restaurant has brought to me. Sadly I won't be back again.

Service is excellent as our waiter came often & food came out quickly. It's nice & simple inside, nothing to complain about on these two topics, but.....the quality of food is the lowest tier. Pre made Bel air/Raley's sushi rolls is luxury compared to any roll you can order here, the Ton katsu ramen broth had absolutely no flavor, & the Korean BBQ short ribs (Kalbi) was the cheapest cut of ribs I have ever seen. Lastly on our party of 2 they took out a automatic 18% tip. Is that even legal? We usually are good tippers anyways, but that option should be up to us. On top of that on the bottom of the receipt, they have the option to leave another additional tip of 10% to 20% extra. At the end almost a 100 dollars for a party of 2 for all you can eat fast food of sushi.

New ownership just took over and had the soft opening today. They have increased the price and took away a lot of the rolls we liked. They also seated a family.of 4 and a lot of the new rules include that you can only order 3 rolls to the table at once, so not everyone cne choose what they want. They are adding a salad bar and cake bar, good way to fill you up with non sushi items. Unlike the original owners, anyone over either 10 years old or 4'6" is charged at the adult price of $38.99 per person for dinner.. Guess we won't be going back.

Too pricey for $32.99. They serve imitation scallops for $32.99/head. Ramen and the broth is bland. Steaks from the hibachi are too small compared to those earlier pictures. Stir fry udon is bland. The server don’t want to serve 2 sets of wasabi/ginger at once even though I want 1 for me and my partner. We’ll not be back sorry.

People running it have no manners. You walk in and there's no greeting no eye contact. Give me your money, eat, and move on is the vibe you get. Our kid serving us looked like he was out of it and scared of his bosses. Ambiance was bad as well, took a fam pic and looked like we were in a compound. Food wasnt good either, had better food at I love teriyaki where I spent $10. $40 for AYCE was legit the worst quality and service I've ever seen. Had better at a $14 lunch special place.

We didn't eat our edimame cause it was not fresh any more and my friend didn't like one of the rolls that she ordered but we ate everything else we ordered and she wanted to charge us $10 for wasting food. Then she pointed to the suggested tip and told us that's how much we had to tip. It was a good experience and then it just turned very weird and uncomfortable. We felt like kids in trouble for not eating all of our food whether we liked it or not... yikes

UPDATE BELOW! original post: first off, the service was immaculate. Harvy (hoping i spell it right) was awesome and sooo patient with my party of 15! He made sure and took care of everyone! The food was amazzzinnnggg. It came so fast, he got 5 orders in and all my food was already coming out even while they were busy! There is no limit on the amount of food you can order! The atmosphere is so cute as well! The cherry blossoms and green wall is so beautiful and is a great place to take a picture. I got some of everything, the hibachi, rolls, hand rolls, udon soup, tempura, dumplings and ice cream and probably more yet I do not have a single complaint. They were very prompt with reordering and filling waters. Please come support this new business! EDIT: The quality has depleted intensely. I had to leave after ordering one round which consisted of the caterpillar roll, miso soup and sashimi salmon. Caterpillar roll had a millimeter size eel in it and it was all cucumber and avocado, the salmon did not taste like anything….it tasted like water, was frozen in the middle and CRUNCHY the sashimi was CRUNCHY. The waiter we had was patient and nice but this old lady waitress who was just leaning on the wall across from us was just mugging me and my wife THE ENTIRE TIME, i felt so unsafe and unwelcome. Idk if they under new management or what but it was shocking how much the food had changed.

Today is June 11th at 1:25 PM. I called to ask if I could arrive at 2:20 for the all-you-can-eat buffet, which is clearly listed as open until 2:30. I was told I had to be there by 2:00 instead. When I politely suggested they update their posted hours to reflect that, the person on the phone hung up on me. If this is how they treat potential customers over the phone, I can only imagine the in-person experience. Won’t be returning—save your time and money.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this All-You-Can-Eat restaurant was such a disappointment that I feel obligated to share my experience. Let’s start with the food quality: it was downright poor. The sashimi wasn’t fresh at all—especially the tilapia, which was clearly pre-frozen and thawed. After eating it, I experienced stomach pain and diarrhea. The “crab meat” was nothing but cheap imitation crab sticks. For a price of $32.99 per person, this kind of food quality is completely unacceptable. I’ve had far better meals at $15 Chinese AYCE buffets. The hibachi dishes were just as bad. The yellowtail hibachi, in particular, was made from scraps and edge cuts rather than proper fillets. It was dry, chewy, and unappetizing. The udon and ramen were no better—the broth tasted like instant soup base, and the toppings were an unappealing mix of overcooked vegetables, broken seaweed, and other random ingredients. The miso soup was equally disappointing, with a strange artificial flavor. To make things worse, the ordering system was completely disorganized. During our first round of orders, many dishes simply didn’t arrive. We assumed that the portions were small or that the restaurant had a limited menu. But later in the meal, all the missing dishes suddenly started arriving at once—long after we were already full. Then, the staff reminded us that there would be a $10 penalty for any unfinished items. That felt incredibly unfair, especially since the delay in service was their fault, not ours. The service itself was also unpleasant. The staff were cold and dismissive, and one server in particular stood near our table watching us for most of the meal, making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. In summary, the food was low quality, the service was poor, and the $32.99 price tag is completely unjustified. From missing dishes and strange delays to unprofessional staff and harsh penalty policies, this place was a complete letdown. I would not recommend it to anyone. There are far better AYCE options out there for a fraction of the price.

So the place is under new management and i think it is now called Harumi. My sister and I went today on a Saturday for the Lunch Ayce. We were surprised that lunch ayce is no longer offered on a saturday but only dinner ayce which is $40 per head including tax. My sister was so hungry that she said we are already here so might as well but I was kind of hesitant. At this point we still did not realize it is under new management. We ordered our usual firsts - the fried items. The shirm tempura is heavily battered and the shirmp was so tiny you can hardly taste it. The tempura sauce was extra sweet to our liking. The calamari was the same, heavily battered and tasted like frozen boxed food. The gyoza were fine. I ordered the tuna tataki. They do not look like tuna tataki. They were super thinly sliced I felt like eating tuna flake douched in ponzu sauce, it was terrible. We ordered 2 rolls, the dynamite and lady pink. The amount of rice was a lot in their rolls, overpowered everything. It was painful to finish. Their hand roll did not look like any handroll I have had before! Too much rice! It also looked like a taco. The seafood ramen has one crab cake. This used to have a lot of seafood in it. The unagi(eel)sashimi was fully cooked and had a lot of bones, was super dry and thinly sliced. Normally this was not dry and was just smoked.. The short ribs was fatty and overly sweet. The food were heavy and overly sweet far from the old menu were it was lighter and the portions were smaller but that was the beauty of it because you get to eat different items without getting full quickly. I think the new managemnet trick is to get you full quickly so you can get out of the door early. We never felt loke this with the old menu. The servers were promt but we were given our bill without asking for it so felt like we were rushed and we were there for less than 60 minutes. By the way they have a max of 90 minutes dining time rule. They had fruit/lettuce bar which was okay. We did not bother to try the ice cream. I did not take any photos because my mind was occupied with disappointments. We asked one of the servers if the restaurant is under new management and he said yes and so the menu is new. He asked if it is better from the old menu and we were honest to tell him it was not and were disappointed. He apologized. We are not definitely coming back to this place again.

First of all way too expensive for what they offer… sushi is cheap quality, the udon smelled old, worst fried rice I’ve ever eaten in my life, I ordered a few different types of rolls and happen it only like one of them which was the spider roll then tried to reorder it since it’s all you can eat and I received a completely different roll that had actual lettuce inside of it, yuck! (Attachment- Exhibit A) Then I ordered the dry noodles and the picture on the menu is something completely different then when I pointed it out the manager tells me “it’s just a picture” it’s FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. (Attachment- Exhibit B & C) When I finally asked for my tab the lady tells me I’ll be charged an extra 15% convenience fee since I didn’t eat all the food… they must of lost their minds thinking someone’s going to pay $32.99 per person ($19.99 per child) then be changed extra because they decided to serve out some cheap low quality make someone sick type of food. I will NEVER recommend nor go back. Such a waste of money! Attachments: Exhibit A: sushi roll that has lettuce inside Exhibit B: photo shown on the menu they give out at the restaurant Exhibit C: the actual noodles they serve you 😭

THE Worst Teriyaki Hibachi I have ever had!!!! We ordered to go and when we got home I opened the containers and could see it was not going to be good. The hibachi chicken was dry and tasteless, the vegetable tempura looked like Styrofoam and tasted like it. I don't even know if any vegetables were in it, the fried rice was also dry and bland. the only thing they really couldn't screw up was the salad and even that was not great. Wasted 44 bucks on crap, we had never been there before and needless to say we won't be going back. I didn't want to give it even one star it was that bad.
