Excellent Ice Cream shop with an assortment of custom flavors you will not find anywhere else in the area. Pricing is competitive with other places, even though their ice cream is of much higher quality.

This place is quirky and cute with a walk up window. It is in a nice little spot on the river with paths to take a walk with your desert. There is a decent selection of delicious flavors although they were unfortunately out of mint but that is just my restaurant curse. I will come again when I am in the area!

The place has a menu that covers all the basics. Cones, cups, and sundaes. Right next to the river so it's a perfect place to eat your ice cream while walking it off as you walk along the river. Prices are decent compared to some other places I've been to lately.

After a long hard day I wasnt hungry enough for dinner and decided ice cream sounded great after a 10 hour day and two hour commute. I bellied up to the bar and ordered a double waffle cone ( black cherry and strawberry...mmm...) As I pulled out my wallet I was told "congratulations. Amazing! Came in today with my son, the lady was so helpful and patient while we decided what flavor to choose. Always love going to Foxys! I discovered it several years ago when we moved to Yorkville and even after moving to Oswego, we still go regularly. They have so much to choose from and it's all delicious. My personal favorite is Kitty Kitty Bang Bang. They also have great soft serve. The portions are generous and the service is amazing. The staff is always friendly, courteous and the wait is never too long, even when it is crowded. I highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

One of the few local places where you can get REAL Superman ice cream and blue moon ice cream!! They have a lot of unique and hard to find flavors, as well as "visiting flavors" that are only offered for a little time. They also have your standard beverages such as water and canned sodas should the desire arise. Foxy's is always gracious with showing up to school and team fundraisers when they aren't serving treats up at their location right next to the Fox River Dam. With Riverfront Park located very close, as well as a couple of good local Yorkville restaurants, it's a perfect place to do dinner and ice cream with the kids, or cool off after playing at the park or after doing some of the river activities. The hours are a bit flexible during those shoulder seasons where we have those hot days in early spring, or those warm spells in late October where they'll announce temporary hours on those days via social media. Definitely worth stopping by if you get the chance! Then you can argue with the rest of us on exactly what flavor Blue Moon really is!!!

One of the many BEST ice cream places in Yorkville! Got the Worms 'N Dirt (Zanzibar) ice cream, and a bag of freeze dried Skittles. They were the BOMB! My dog also enjoyed the Doggie Treat!

This place is really good. I've had four or five good flavors. My wife has enjoyed others. They have always provided great service. My one knock is that some of the limited flavors go quite quickly but that's not their fault exactly.

I love ice cream shops that are a destination, either walking, biking or water sports. Great view of the fox river. Real ice cream, but I do like a good soft serve. Butter Pecan is my fav. Tables to sit by and a dog water bowl for those hot pooches. Make sure you are not in a rush, to get your order, it does take some time.

This is one of our favorites local gems. It’s tucked away in downtown Yorkville on the River. Only complaint would be parking can be tricky. The ice cream is amazing, service always friendly. It’s a great day with kids to get ice cream and go play along the river behind it. The prices are also very reasonable.

Cute little ice cream place. Lots of unique flavors, but I got the Fat Elvis Fat Elvis--a combination of banana, peanut butter, and chocolate. It was very tasty. Prices were reasonable comparatively. The location was nice as well with a park right next door. Also, they have little toys for kids to play with while they wait for their ice cream. My daughter really liked that.

Such a beautiful place with a great selection of ice cream, yum and delicious 🤤, I order the twist vanilla-chocolate and banana split, I was a little bit choked about the size of the ice cream 🍦, the banana split was so good with a really good and fresh strawberry and banana, the girls that are taking the orders is so beautiful, sweet and nice . Not the last one but the place is so beautiful you can enjoy the Fox river and an ice cream. Definitely recommend it to come and have a good experience.

First time at this ice cream shop and I am incredibly impressed!!!! I've never had much of a sweet tooth, but now I eternally crave Foxy's in Yorkville. We visited for a special event where we got to fill up our Stanley cups with ice cream, which turned into a fantastic introduction to this lovely shop. I got the Fat Elvis ice cream which is banana with peanut butter and chocolate. Looking forward to coming back in the future :) My friends live nearby and they say one nice thing to do in the warm season is to pick up some ice cream from Foxy's and walk down the Fox River!

Ice cream is on point. It's not your usual soft serve, but more of a sticky ice cream. All the flavors have been a hit with the family. Extra points for the ice cream dog treats.

I'd give it 5 stars, except is it obviously run by High School kids after school and they only had one employee working She did a great job, but she would take 2 or 3 orders, close the order window, go make those orders and then come back and take 2 or 3 more orders. I felt bad for the single employee working. I hope this isn't the normal experience.

I was excited to see that this area along the river is trying to develop a draw for people. The ice cream was good. A nice selection on the menu. My only criticism would be was that my ice cream was more on the soft side than what I prefer. I like my single scoop to be frozen.

Love this little place. It did take a while for them to bring me my smoothie, though I'm not really sure why, and it was just a tad expensive at 7 bucks. But I love the place all the same and it's right by the river so it's has a relaxing atmosphere outside.

Review for Foxy’s Ice Cream I had a quick and interesting experience at Foxy’s. Despite having five people ahead of me in line, my order was called out surprisingly fast—so fast I almost missed it! It caught me off guard because others who ordered before me were still waiting. I had two items, but only one came out initially. After sitting down and waiting a bit longer, I finally received the second part of my order. The service was definitely quick, but the timing felt a little disorganized. As for the ice cream itself, I suspect they might have changed providers—something about the flavor just didn’t taste the same as it did five years ago. It seems like the overall quality has dipped slightly. That said, their vanilla remains a classic staple that hasn’t lost its charm. My husband really enjoyed his chocolate peanut butter ice cream, so they’re still doing something right!

We went there specifically for Italian Ice, but whatever it is we received was not Italian Ice. We got something that tasted more like melted push pops. What made the experience a little more unpleasant was the fact that they had port-o-potties very near to the pick up window and the terrible smell coming from them just made every seem unappetizing. The shop is in an ideal position right by the scenic river's edge, they just need to work out the logistics of their restroom situation a bit better.

The ice cream is great but PRICEY. I used to take my kids there quite a bit but the prices have dwindled it down to a couple of times a year. I'm seriously considering making my own. We do that now with pizza. We've perfected our sauce and dough and homemade Italian pizza sausage. (2) Four topping mediums for $80+ is crazy. This place is decent, the people are polite but the prices are just too high. Just about $12 for (2) single scoop waffle cones..?!!! Holy Schnikeys!!!! It was much nicer before the BBQ place opened up next door a few years ago as well. It gets pretty noisy and loud and that takes away from the peaceful riverside atmosphere that it used to have.

We love going to Foxy's and it is in a great location. We have been going there for over a year now. When we originally started going we loved it however this summer every time we have gotten ice cream, it's already melting off the cone as they're handing it to us. This has happened on multiple visits. We are hoping it'll get better as we really enjoy going there however, it makes it extremely difficult to enjoy the ice cream.

I can't say much as we had placed an order then waited as everyone after us got their order, yet we were still empty handed. When we asked we were told it would be at least another 15 minutes, we had already waited 15. There is no ice cream worth waiting 30 minutes, the price was already a bit higher than one would want to pay, add on that wait. We left, we won't be back, we never got the ice cream. Would have been nice to know it takes them 30 minutes or more to get an order to you before you pay.
