Our Server Dale was awesome, very attentive and knowledgeable of all the menu items and specials. Looking at the menu, I thought the prices were a bit elevated. However, pleasant surprise, once the meals arrived, those portions were generous, worth the price. Everyone complimented the flavors and fresh pasta. A few of us didnt care for the table olive oil, its mixed with pepper seeds and grated cheese. if you like spice and grated cheese, you will like it. So, we asked for plain olive oil and a we were given a mini can of olive oil. The bread was warm, with crusty exterior and soft interior. We had a variety of dishes, The Rigatoni Arrabiata, Pollo Marsala, Pollo Francese, Gnocchi all fresh and tasty. We told the waiter that 1 dish will be shared, they actually divided that dish into 2 for us. The only disappointment was the artichoke, the leaves had no meat, but the breading was very tasty.

The meal was fantastic… One of the most flavorful meals I’ve had in a long time. I have celiac so the server was very attentive to my gluten-free needs and made excellent adaptations. The server was very knowledgeable about gluten-free options that were available. I am absolutely looking forward to my next return

Excellent food and service. Our waiter had great recommendations. Our daughter with a peanut allergy was able to safely eat the bread, the homemade rigatoni, and the homemade tiramisu (which was all delicious). We had a lovely meal.

Went for an event and had the best service by Brianna…she was servicing a large group of the individuals at the event and did so with such an amazing polite and beautiful attitude. Even with so many people she was timely and didn’t miss a beat in always responding to our request. Will definitely go back and look for her. Food was amazing as well and the Christmas ambience made it a beautiful evening!!!!!

This place has that hometown Italian family restaurant vibe with some of the friendliest staff there is. From the owner Joey who greets everyone and insures their comfortable, the bartenders and dining room staff all top notch. The portions are plentiful, enough to share with everyone at the table and the food is top notch. Some favorites are the soups of the day, chicken parm, Nona’s meatball, the imported meats and cheeses and dare I say the best, I mean the best dip for the Italian bread. I stay here in Downers Grove weekly and visit this place a few times a week. Feels like family and Nona is in the kitchen ready to feed everyone!

We made this dinner reservation mint knowing it was in a hotel. I was a little annoyed when we got there, but my mind was immediately changed. The service from the second we walked in was fantastic and the food was incredible. We had calamari and the meatball as an appetizer. The bread was great too. We had a party of 7 and everyone loved their food. I was super impressed and highly recommend coming here.

Went there with family & grandkids and it was probably one of the best Italian meals I’ve had! Shout out to Esmeralda our waitress and Eduardo our server. They (and all the staff) treated us as if we were family. Polite, friendly, helpful and all around wonderful people! They answered all our questions and Esmeralda especially was amazing as I asked her if the cooks would make me something not on the menu. She smiled and said “no problem, I will do my best to make it happen”. The food was superb & a wonderful hidden gem inside a DoubleTree Hotel. **the 70’s dance music was the hit of the evening!

I stopped in after work while in town. Food was absolutely amazing, drinks a must have! Old Fashioned’s (I’m an KY girl) and Wine amazing. All staff very accommodating and friendly. Felt like I was at home. I love Italian food and have been all around the US. This one is a must! Definitely more than you will ever eat!!

I don’t usually expect much from hotel restaurants—especially at DoubleTree—but this Italian spot was a real surprise. The food was fresh, tasty, and comforting in a cozy setting. The salads were crisp and flavorful, and the filet was cooked exactly as I requested—rare and perfectly done. Everything felt high-quality without being overdone. On top of that, the staff were genuinely warm and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. A hidden gem inside the hotel!

Our server was attentive and made our experience worth 5 stars. On to the food, we started with stuffed gnocchi. It was good, definitely Americanized Italian though. The vodka sauce was spot on, which is a great sign for the main and the star of the stuffed gnocchi. We shared the pork chop, it was the reason we ate here. It was one of the best things we've eaten in Chicago. I will be thinking about that chop for awhile, especially since I live on the other side of the country. This restaurant will be on our permanent must visit list every time we come to Chicago

I had my daughter’s birthday/graduation dinner here, and it was absolutely perfect! The food was incredibly good, and the service was wonderful! The room where we had the party was beautiful, spacious, and the decorations were spot on to what I asked for! Everyone at the party commented on how good the food was, and how much they loved the room and the ambience! I would definitely have another dinner party here again!

From the moment we walked in, Joey and the entire staff made us feel so welcomed and cared for. The romantic ambience and charming Easter decorations added such a warm, festive touch. They truly went above and beyond — consistently checking on us, surprising us with kind gestures, and even sending us home with fresh bread and a sweet Easter gift. It made dinner with my mom extra special and deeply memorable. The food was absolutely delicious — the gnocchi was my favorite dish of the night, so soft and flavorful! Not a single complaint. Thank you to everyone at Osteria by Capri for making our Easter evening so magical.

If you're looking for the perfect date night spot, this place is it! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was cozy, elegant, and welcoming! The service...top tier!!! I ordered the filet well done (I know, I know) and I've never had a well done filet come out this juicy and flavorful! We also got the sausage and peppers appetizer and it was delicious! The ambiance is perfect for a romantic evening, but we noticed families emitting their meal and having fun too. They have live music on the weekends, which makes it a fun spot for a field night as well! We'll absolutely be back! Loved it so much that I even secured an event for May! 10/10 recommend

It was good. If you're looking for some Italian food this is a pretty good bet. Unfortunately the prices are higher than they should be and servings much too large. Taking home a white sauce pasta is almost worthless as the sauce is going to break when you chill it. A good sign that they make them in house, but when your serving size is so large you have to take it home it's almost a waste. Servers are nicer and attentive which is appreciated. However the check automatically charges 3% "fair wage" so I guess you're not needing to tip as the wait staff gets paid appropriately which is good for them. Then there is another 3% fee for the convenience of paying with a card. I understand small places doing it to save a few dollars but when you're easily over $20 per plate....your covering it. Regardless, food was good. Arribiatta sauce was actually spicy which was nice but for the price, some peppers or Italian sausage would be nice. Tiramisu was adequate but nothing to really brag about as it tasted pretty basic and not an overly large serving like the dinner. Table bread was good and hard as well.

This place is wonderful. Nice ambiance, wonderful servers and great tasting food. Will definitely be back. Ask for Julio- he’s wonderful, super helpful and attentive.

My wife and myself decided to do alittle get away and stay at a hotel. The restaurant at our hotel is awesome. The food quantity is a lot. 2 people could eat off one plate. Everything is great, but the service is even better. Great job guys!

Service is kinda slow. Need better customer service. What's fair compensation when your leftovers get thrown away instead of wrapped to go? Intentionally I was offered an apology and was charged full price for my food. When there's a mistake i think steps should be made to make it right. After speaking to a manager received $10 off
