I went to the KFC in North Utica tonight. The dine in was closed & there was a long line for take out! The woman at the window was multi tasking better than I've ever seen- taking orders, filling soda orders, bringing take out to cars outside (if there was a wait for an order) , & delivering orders at the window!! Her name was Janelle & she was VERY pleasant, didn't appear flustered at all!!! She deserves a huge THANK YOU for the GREAT job she is doing!!!!

I came here for the first time and this KFC is beautiful. It is just like a restruant. Food is very hot and fresh!! Customer service is excellent! The manager Jillian is very friendly, positive and overall a nice person. You can she goes above and beyond for customers. At the front register Jessica helped me with my purchase she was very friendly and positive the people here are very nice.

Props to my girl Jackie called about a delivery order and we asked her to make sure my hot sauce was in there sis came through and blessed. All around a 10 out of 10 food was fresh chicken was hot mashed potatoes and gravy were banging give this girl a raise!!!

In Utica we had a grand opening here that was one of the first people to arrive. I was super excited and I was not let down the place was super clean. Very fast on getting people in and out also courteous. Very friendly also who was amazing nothing like the other KFC and Utica! I'll choose this over Popeyes 2.

What better than a brand new KFC, one that pretends to be a museum of Colonel Sanders lore? While the neighboring Taco Bell does business in an old style TB building, hard to keep clean and tired, this KFC has fresh hot chicken and rather remarkably effective air conditioning. Now I'm not going to say this place flocks with people, like a church picnic in Kentucky. However, it's pretty social inside this roadside chicken bucket.

Nice time and it was quiet. The food was served hot and seemed better than some other KFC locations.

Fast friendly service very clean inside and the original recipe tastes as good as it ever has. Also I noticed the addition of all the fun facts about the Colonel on the walls

As far as fast food goes, I really like this location. It is always clean and the employees have always been very friendly. My orders are always hot and ready in a reasonable time. Once they forgot my coleslaw when I went through the drive thru, but they made it right on my next visit.

They always have a smile whenever my family and I visit. Service is exceptional. My dad found his new favorite place to eat for when we are running errands and want something to fill us up. The lady that I met at the front counter was helpful and courteous. the place seemed very clean and well-organized except for the small food spill on the floor in the kitchen. Something that had probably just happened. But that bathroom sink. It's one of those motion-sensitive sinks. The surprise for me was that it actually works and the nozzle is up high enough so that us men can wash our hands without having to scrape our knuckles at the bottom of a nasty sink, like at Walmart.

Food is pretty good, service not so much. Entrance is a little inconvenient depending on which way youre coming from. Online orders arent always ready when they're supposed to be

Not really much to choose from for vegetarians; 2 biscuits and mashed potatoes with no gravy for me. My son and I needed a quick lunch before heading out to the thruway. At least they are allowing you to eat in, that was a plus. Service was outstanding, very friendly and efficient. My son enjoyed his food, he had a chicken tender meal.

I have had several extended stays in Utica for various work projects over the past year, and this KFC has consistently met expectations. Nothing groundbreaking, of course, but the food is reliably hot and fresh, ready for pickup quickly, and convenient to the cluster of hotels near the Mohawk River. No errors in any of my orders yet, either. In general, the company's online game is quite competitive. The rewards program itself is solid, and you'll find good deals available, particularly if trying to feed multiple people. Recommended, albeit not necessarily over one of Utica's many other local establishments.

I ordered from the drive thru, I don't generally give fast food reviews however the lady working the drive thru window (6/15/23 / 7:10pm) was something worth mentioning. She did her job with such a great attitude I wanted to share it!!!!! She was happy and helpful, even with the chaos going on around her she performed like it was nothing to her. Great employee and I will return again and again because of how she treated us!!!!!

Food very inconsistent famous bowl all gravy and mash potatos very little chicken, however front counter girl was very charming.

Not busy at all but still didn't get order right. When asked to fix it they were quick to do so tho. Had to sit at "table closed" one as the two nearby it still had crumbs on it. Food was fresh and tasty tho and service was fast and apologetic about the mistakes

Food was just ok bowl had dehydrated corn not reconstituted ,bucket of chicken was old and dry, lg sides were just enough to serve 2 / 3yr olds potatoes and mac n cheese they ate both whole sides along with some chicken the price you pay for the sides is not worth what you get.

It was pretty messy in the lobby, granted I went a little after noon. The food was cold and I had to keep asking for things. Like the capri sun for my child and sauces because they didn't give me any.

Finally got a chance to try this place. Entrance is Right Turn only coming from Route 5. Food was on point. Atmosphere is good as dinning room was clean and popping. Well lighted. Service was the down fall here. It took away from the Atmosphere and was disappointing. Front counter was managed by one person who also prioritized online orders and also preferred cashless transactions, which isn't bad as many have tap and pay. It took like 10 mins to get my order taken as because I was holding my phone they thought I was doordash or Uber eats, which is understandable but limited interaction and no greetings. The staff did crush the service from order to eating. Even made up for lack of item that woukd have made a longer wait, which is amazing. I believe if stop just order online if possible prior to arriving.

We had trouble communicating with the employee inside while going thru drive-thru. We ordered 2 meals, an all wht.,orig, 2 pm w/ biscuit & a 2pc with biscuit. Both also had med drinks. Food was hot and good, driveway to exit is somewhat cumbersome with the way installed adjacent to bldg. We ate in car. Seemed like headset or operator was malfunctioning at that time.

We stopped in for some fast food as we had 45 minutes before an appointment. We ordered at the kiosk inside and chose to dine in. We waited almost 24-25 minutes for our order while multiple other people walked in and received their orders quickly. At that point, we had to eat and run. When we received our food, it was hot. However, the boneless chicken strips we ordered were dry like they had been sitting under the warmer for a long time... maybe 25 minutes or more? The decor was fresh as well as the tables and fixtures. The one person who served us was polite even though the order was quite delayed.

Hate drive thru. Ask for 2 PC combo, got home, no side. 2 times later, ask for 2 thighs, got thigh and leg. Tried to call No answer

I went in there expecting to buy a 5.00 box. I end up paying almost 20.00 for nasty rubbery chicken supposed to be extra crispy and coleslaw (my fav part of the meal) made me throw up immediately after eating it. I had to go back inside cause they forgot a side. & I told the guy I was going to write a nice survey... But after that. I can't find myself doing that. Sorry 😐

I just ordered here at the drive thru. They forgot eating utensils, my drink and put the wrong sauce in the bag. I only ordered 1 meal. 😆

Food was okay. But when my husband picked the food up the lady at the counter was pretty rude to him thinking he was an uber driver. Got home to realize they gave 3 orders of honey garlic wings and 1 honey bbq when it was supposed to be the opposite. Went back down there and I went in, politely explained and showed them. The same lady tried saying my husband grabbed the wrong bag and rushed out of there (I was in the car when he picked it up and he didn't come out to quickly) so I showed her the tag on it and told her that IS in fact my name, so it was the right order, they just switched the amount of each I was supposed to get which is understandable. Then she shows me the bottle of the sauce from the line as she's remaking it and points out the name to "prove" it was the correct one. She also was rude to another customer before she had assisted me when they asked her for a tray because they were eating here and rudely said her screen showed it as a takeout order (multiple times) and she was the one who was taking orders.

The chicken sandwich was hard chewy and over cooked. The nuggets dried up and hard to chew. $14 is a lot of money to spend on food you can’t eat ! Done with KFC ✌🏽

Don't go here if you're not fine with several parts of your order being missing and them not doing anything about it. Also, it's super slow. I saw 5 employees just standing around while 2 others handled the many orders that came in while I was waiting for my (late) pick-up order.

This place is an absolute hole. I'll never ever visit here again. My last experience was terrible after waiting about a half an hour for cold food. I gave him another shot this time and they gave me fries that felt like they came out of the fridge they were so cold. The customer service is terrible.

I ordered a 3-piece. Technically, I got one. Do they serve super quail? Either on accident or employees didn't care because this was a to go order on my lunch break. Please re train your employee or have them leave if they cannot perform. Chicken tastes good. Dissatisfying experience.

They close at 10....we got there at 820...no crispy chicken, no chicken patties for sandwiches, no fries, no wedges. Didn't give us tips for our drinks, straws or forks. When I asked for these things, the girl gave me a dirty look, never said a word and just put them in the counter, didn't even hand them to me! Hire some decent staff!!!!

The last three times we have gone to this KFC we find out when we get home that they have not given us an item. Also today the size of the chicken has gone mini… I have never had a piece of chicken so small ever. This will be the last time I go to KFC. I do not recommend.

I literally spent 25 min of my 30 min meal break in the drive thru line. It wasn't busy at all, yet it took forever! When I went to pay, the girl asked me what I ordered & then typed it all in to the computer. It took another 10 min to get my food after I paid. I wasn't given the correct items, but I was late clocking back in to work so I wasn't bothering waiting another 25 min to get it corrected. Never going back to the Utica NY location

The worst KFC I ever had. Ordered a 12 piece meal and the chicken looked like little nubs of chicken, the biscuits were dry, the corn looked like it was made 3 days ago. I will never order or eat from this KFC ever again!!! For what I paid for it was not worth $2.00 I am very disappointed and would not recommend this business

The assistant store manager was extremely rude to me today. When I returned the attitude I was chased out of the store and almost physically assaulted in the parking lot by the same manager. I'm currently filling a police report as well as a formal complaint with corporate. Extremely unprofessional, especially from the assistant manager!

I arrived at 6 for my 6pm online pick up of a family sized chicken strip meal and waited 15 minutes with a crowd of other pick up people. When I did get my order they had forgotten my chicken. They gave me biscuits instead. I couldn't get anyone by phone so I complained online and have gotten no answer after 2 weeks.

Arrived at 10:45 AM, bought an 8 piece bucket/combo. Got home and it was no good. All dried out like it had been there for hours and since it wasn't, they must have just re-heated yesterday's chicken. It's unacceptable for what they charge for it not to even be edible.

Me and my family stop by after visiting the zoo we come from all the way from Albany we picked up some pizza for the children on the way over we were only there for 20 minutes one of the staff there stole our food then they said they couldn't give us a refund and to make matters work supervisor that was there was lying for her saying that someone must have picked it up which should be impossible because they said that you have to show ID to pick it up and my mom had her ID with her the entire time we have to call customer care and they said they give us our money back in a couple days i'm never buying at a KFC ever again this was the last straw their business and service always sucks I only wish I could give this a lower star review

I made a moble purchase while leaving the Utica Zoo and when got to the store i was told that my order was already picked by someone else. The so call manager and supervisor said that they can't do anything about that. My kids and I had to drive 1hr and 40mins back to albany with no food or a refund.

I have never left a bad review for a restaurant but my service today was so bad that I feel the need to. I waited in the drive-thru line for 20 minutes just to be told my online order was lost and I needed to park and wait for my food. I asked if I could just get a refund if it wasn’t even ready but they said it would be a hassle since I ordered through the app. I waited 10 more minutes and went inside to check on the status of my order. There were 5 people waiting in line in front of me and everyone in the back was ignoring them. Nobody was working the front register so the people in front of me eventually left after receiving nothing. Right after they left, 40 minutes later, my food was finally ready and given to me. The food was fine but my advice: save yourself from time and just eat somewhere else.

Ordered for takeout and just tasted bad. Not really anything specifically wrong with anything, it arrived warm and no missing ingredients. Food is just not very good unfortunately. Fries have a funky after taste. Chicken is flavorless. Pickes also had a weird after taste. The Mac and cheese was just awful mushy overcooked pasta with bad bad cheese sauce. Their food used to be so good :(

Multiple things with my order I didn’t mind when the biscuits were smashed on top of the chicken then I didn’t mind that it wasn’t crispy. It was original when I ordered crispy and then third of all, they gave me three tiny pieces of chicken and three pieces, a full size chicken.

I have been going to this location for years. I do not know what is happening lately, but the food is served dry, the service is not what is used to be; the staff seems tired, not motivated and lack of CS skills. I had to ask for napkins and a fork and was embarrassed to ask for ketchup because this is something that they should ask or provide. I guess not anymore. Not from KFC. The pieces of what is supposed to be "original" chicken were small and the food was cold and overcooked (even the skin was saggy). I think that this is the last for me. I bring a lot of customers there, but they don't seem to care. I took a picture of how I got my food when it was hand to me. If they do not care to serve, I do not care to spend my money there.
