Italian themed restaurant inside the Artisan Hotel. Shoutout to Lexi who took very good care of us at the bar. Had the octopus antipasta, halibut and Caesar salad. Didn’t like having to cut up my own salad…other than that…it was a great meal.
A great experience! Took my wife to dinner after some Christmas shopping. We made reservations and were seated promptly. All the food was absolutely delicious! The service was on point as well. Our waitress was very polite and knowledgeable. We ordered the Burrata, Caprese salad, Tortelli Brasato and Rigatoni- all were delicious, good portions as well! Highly recommend!! Thank you
Stopped at the bar last night for a bite just under the wire for the closing of the kitchen. Jordan served me. He is a perfect balance of engagement, professionalism and good humor. Total “manager” vibe about him. He is a great ambassador for the brand. In addition, Alix and Darlene on the front desk are so warm and helpful. Couldn’t ask for more.
Just had dinner here tonight, sat at one of the high tops near the bar and we had the best service ever! The atmosphere and vibes were amazing by the way just so fun! Christopher H was our server and if you can request him I highly would suggest it he was the best I can’t express how good he was giving us everything we needed and more! The fusilli pasta was so amazing and I got the desert rose tequila drink which hit the spot. I normally don’t write reviews but everything was so perfect I had too!
I loved everything about Tuscan Kitchen. The restaurant inside is beautiful the food & drinks were delicious and the service was a 10/10.. will definitely return!
Michael was our server. He's top notch! Excellent service, knows menu inside & out, well-spoken, charming, perfect fit for the stunning new atmosphere. Very trendy. I had ceasar salad-excellent Halibut topped with fresh lump crab, served over a pillowy spinach agnolotti stuffed with ricotta & slightly wilted spinach with a lemon butter sauce. Oh my gawd it was unbelievably delicious! I normally get the salmon which is incredible as well. (Had a scallop and pesto, peach mista, & walnuts appetizer- that was just ok- wouldn't order again). A big disappointment was the nearly all meat based appetizers. I miss the lemon shrimp scampi app too... Bring it back, please Bravo Tuscan Kitchen & Michael! :)
My wife and I visited this location for the first time this evening for our wedding anniversary. With our reservation, we were greeted by the hostess with a “happy anniversary” welcome. When we were seated at our table, we had a card signed by a bunch of staff members. It was a sincere back-to-back gesture after only being in the building for a couple of minutes. Our server, Ron was phenomenal and personal throughout our entire visit. Ron was helpful, fun, snd informative. When we posed questions about wine selections that he was not as knowledgeable about, he introduced us to Chris whom was super helpful as well, and went out of his way to check in on us throughout our 2 hour stay. Food was amazing and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. From our appetizers, to the charcuterie board selection, the wine pairings, and the amazing main entree…we both agreed we wouldn’t have changed a thing. The ambiance is amazing all around and makes for a special occasion for sure. Please ask for Ron or Chris as your server when you visit here and you’ll be sure to be taken care of. Lastly, 2 hours after we had arrived and were leaving, the woman at the hostess desk whom we had never met through the night, had wished us a happy anniversary on our way out the door. This may not seem like much, but this small detail was the lasting impact that will have us return again, and tell everybody about our wonderful experience. Thank you for a memorable night, ~Jim~
Wow, simply wow!! Delicious meals, surrounded by such a beautiful ambience, served by the most courteous staff! And if you are with the right company, you’ll have an unforgettable night!
Tuscan Kitchen delivered an outstanding dining experience from the moment we walked in. Post‑holiday reservations were refreshingly easy to secure, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed winter night out. The atmosphere is gorgeous; cozy and inviting with ambient lighting, a crackling fireplace, and twinkle lights woven through indoor plants that make the whole space feel magical. The staff struck that rare balance of attentiveness and space: they let us linger, chat, sip, and savor without interruption, yet somehow always appeared at the perfect moment to ensure we had everything we needed. The star of the evening was the rigatoni with duck ragu - rich, comforting, and beautifully executed. An honorable mention goes to the Point Judith pearly white oysters, served with the most charming mini bottles of Tabasco that made the presentation as delightful as the flavor. The drink menu was another highlight, full of inventive options that felt both thoughtful and fun. Tuscan Kitchen is the kind of place that makes you want to return before you’ve even left. A truly exceptional experience.
What a beautiful restaurant, excellent food, and our server Josh couldn't have been better! We went on Valentines Day and they were obviously slammed but you wouldn't know it because the entire staff was handling it like pros.
Had an Amazing experience at Tuscan Kitchen. The insalata Mesite with Salmon was Sooo good!! The Exotic Car show event was THE BEST high end car show I’ve ever been to. Tuscan Kitchen & Tuscan Village Definitely know how to put on an event! Great Food, atmosphere & great time!!
Fantastic time at Tuscan Kitchen on Sunday. The food was amazing Our server Katie was Very friendly knowledgeable and Accommodating. We sat in the room with the fireplace. The ambience was perfect. Definitely a must Restaurant to Make a Reservation. Chuck
I didn't get a chance to eat or sit down and have a drink, but I did go by and check it out and threw a few pictures for people who are interested in going. This is set in the beautiful Tuscan Village, and it looks very beautiful itself. I'm sure the food and service is excellent. I will be going back to check it out at some point.
Thanks to Olivia who made the experience so amazing. I went with my family and she was just very attentive and easy to converse with! Food was perfect and the restaurant is beautiful.
An unforgettable birthday dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the cozy atmosphere and elegant decor made us feel welcome. The food was spectacular; each dish was packed with flavor and presented impeccably. The staff was very attentive and professional, always making sure everything was perfect. We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended!
Beautiful restaurant with a very nice ambiance. I liked how the tables were spread out, so you weren't on top of the table next to you. Our waitress Jenna was a fabulous waitress. Everything from the bread to the calamari, the Tagliatelle Au Tartufo, and the Tomahawk was full of flavor. After dinner, we took a stroll around the Tuscan Market and then enjoyed a beverage at the outdoor Sam Adams bar. Absolutely loved our evening at the Tuscan Village. It won't be our last visit for sure!
Today, my family and I had lunch and a great experience here. Everything about today's visit was great and worth every single star in this rating. We will certainly be coming again soon. The restaurant is new, vast, beautifully, and elegantly designed. The service was immaculate, and our server was super awesome (unfortunately, we forgot her name). We got cheese pizza, pasta with marinara, and salmon with broccolini from the kids' menu for our kids. For adults, we ordered roasted potatoes, the halibut, and the mushroom pizza. You also get a yummy bread basket with delicious olive oil. The food was super tasty and hit every note you'd like to savor. The only comment I would make is just on the portion size of the kids' pasta; it was just too little even for my 7-year-old! Again, we loved it and will be coming back soon.
We ended up at this place by chance a week ago. We did not intend to be here and did not know what to expect, but being a slow Thursday night, and no reservations needed (at least that night), we gave it a go. The atmosphere is very inviting and the decor and appointments very well done - gives you the vibe of being in a cozy place but very trendy; a heart warmer. Plus we ended up getting a very nice table in a somewhat standalone spot, so it made the evening that much more relaxing and enjoyable. If I had to put an emphasis on one thing that made our visit very pleasant, it was the superb service we got from Esteban. From the moment we sat down I could tell that he was not only very knowledgeable about the menu, but had a very warm and friendly demeanor altogether. He made the meal a very personally satisfying experience. And with regard to that, the Tuna and Oyster appetizers were just wonderful. Though, the highlights were the entrees which were just perfectly done. The Filet mignon and the Scallops were very truly appetizing, and elevated our enjoyment of the meal quite a bit. Paired that with a bottle of Chianti reserve and a cap off with an Espresso Martini, we could not have been more satisfied. With having no expectations coming in, but leaving with very high ones, our return visit will have a very high threshold :) Well worth a try if you are in the area.
I celebrated my birthday at Tuscan Kitchen and our waiter Alex made the evening awesome. He was friendly and personable and incredibly attentive. He made sure our dining experience was perfect. The food was amazing but Alex’s outstanding service was above and beyond. Thank you for making my birthday dinner the best ever!
Went for the first time and was very impressed by the quality of the food and the friendly employees. Darwin was the best server I ever had. With such a positive attitude, he made my night better. Would definitely be coming back!
Amazing Market with Amazing Food. They make so many things particularly speciality dried Sausages and fresh Pasta of kinds sold in supermarkets all over. From deserts, meals, cheeses, take home deli foods and so much more. The Atmosphere is so nice. With all the wonderful fixings you will definitely pay more. All in all it’s a beautiful experience.
Went for my daughters birthday dinner and it was amazing start to finish. Katie and her trainee were so helpful, attentive and extremely patient with us while we navigated through the menu!
Huge shout‑out to Tuscan Kitchen in Salem, New Hampshire — especially to Jordan and his incredible bar team! Jordan and his staff are truly top‑notch. Their mixology skills are unmatched: every drink is beautifully crafted, balanced, and thoughtfully presented. They know their products inside and out — from wine selections to custom cocktails to spot‑on food pairings — and their recommendations are always superb. What really sets this team apart is their energy. The personalities, the chemistry, the vibe… it all just works. They create an atmosphere that’s warm, welcoming, and effortlessly fun. You walk in feeling comfortable, and you leave feeling genuinely happy every single time. Jordan leads with heart, supports his team, and it shows in every detail. Another huge shout‑out to this amazing group — they are a true asset to Tuscan Kitchen.
This was our first time at the Tuscan kitchen and will not be our last! Every detail was phenomenal! Our server Darwin was spectacular, he went through a he menu with us, checked on us regularly and was very welcoming and friendly. Our food was absolutely delicious. We cannot wait to come back!
We went to Tuscan Kitchen the other night and had such a great experience! Our bartender, Nina, was absolutely amazing — friendly, attentive, and made some of the best cocktails we’ve had in a while. She really made us feel welcome and took the time to chat and make sure we were enjoying everything. The atmosphere was warm and lively, and thanks to Nina, it was one of the highlights of our night. Highly recommend grabbing a seat at the bar if she’s working!
I travel quite a bit, and want to recommend this place. It is fantastic. Been coming up here fairly regularly. The staff is amazing. Want to thank Brittney, Grace, and Dan for the outstanding service they always provide. They are absolutely fantastic. Again, I travel globally and this spot is one of my favorites. Have a seat at the bar and the team will take great care of you.
This is a trendy, new restaurant in the redeveloped Tuscan Market. I went with some friends in a Friday night. We made a reservation, obviously, and got right in. The decor is super trendy. I had an octopus appetizer and a couple of dirty martinis which were excellent. The service was very good, my friends and I were chatting so we appreciated the slower pace. The only thing I didn’t like were the very loud children at the table next to us. I thought a 7:30 reservation would be late enough to avoid the kids but next time I’ll make a later one.
I went to Tuscan Kitchen in Salem today for lunch. I parked at a garage near the restaurant for free which was nice. Upon arrival, I was stunned how beautiful the restaurant was! Open kitchen, properly set tables, beautiful furniture, clean utensils… The front desk lady was very kind as well as the waitress who served me. I felt appreciated to actually eat here! I ordered fried calamari for starters which was just amazing and the sauce just topped it off! Then, I ordered a Prosciutto pizza which was good but not to my taste unfortunately. The ingredients were fresh; however, the crust of the pizza was way too thick. It felt like I was eating a loaf of bread. My experience was good overall, prices were set at an acceptable level (this is based on the service you get with your food order like the properly set table, the environment you sit in, the ingredients of the plates etc.). I wish the pizza was better - would recommend trying a pasta or any other dish for mains.
We came to celebrate a birthday and told the front desk we were celebrating something special yet nothing was done as far as complimentary dessert or anything else like that. For the price you pay, which is a lot, you could at least do that… Place is gorgeous. Patio is exceptionally well done. However, the bathroom is so far. Our server was interesting.. always had a weird comment to add at the end which made it awkward but he was still attentive and did everything right. Dessert menu lacked any sort of creativity. Bolognese was okay. I expected more from here.
Tuscan Kitchen in Salem NH is beautifully decorated, a bit sparkly, and still feels brand new. The atmosphere is welcoming and I can see it getting loud and lively when the dining room is full. The staff are genuinely friendly, attentive, and professional, and the food is very good with real care put into the preparation and the quality of the ingredients. A solid go to spot overall, and it was a 4.5/5 experience for us.
I have eaten at Tuscan a few times now for dinner . I made a point to take pictures of my food because when I was looking to try this restaurant there weren’t any good pictures to show the different items on the menu . Artichoke app 2 out of 5 it was difficult to eat and small portion Duck rigatoni was delicious the pasta was fresh the duck was tender and the sauce wasn’t too heavy and very flavorful. 5 out of 5 Shrimp pasta was very good as well. The basil pesto sauce was light and refreshing. It came with 4-6 full shrimp. 4 out of 5 Short rib tortellini was a heavier pasta dish. The sauce was strong . It was good but it’s more of a winter pasta dish. 3,5 out of 5 Lobster gnocchi melted in your mouth. The gnocchi were pillowy and delicious. Portion size was just enough it’s not a huge dish but it is very filling. 5 out of 5 Tagliatelle I was happy to try it but I wasn’t impressed for the price. Again Tuscan pasta is fresh and tastes good on its own but the aged cheese was ok. 3 out of 5 Hope this helps someone who plans on trying Tuscan. I’ll definitely return to try other items on their menu . The restaurant is gorgeous and has a great atmosphere with lots of different types of seating zones.
My mother and I went there for Christmas. It was a busy day, but not overly busy to be on any wait. We had reservations at 345. I like the variation of water they offer, drink/wine list is impeccable. Our server was fantastic. I dont remember his name, but very good at explaining some dishes to my mother. Downside of my experience, we both ordered Tagliatelle al Tartufo, which is sold at market price, but wasnt able to be done tableside, due to staffing, so was told it be prepared outback. When we got the food, it wasnt even Luke warm. It had some good flavor, but was not excited. Working in the industry and being a chef myself, I went with it, as all they were going to do was heat it up? The so-called sauce, was not a creamy sauce, more looked like a cloudy water. We disclosed our concerns to our water, he apologized, but wasnt going to send our dishes back, to be heated up more. It lacked the creamy velvety sauce it should have been. Our waiter told the manager, which by the way, didnt even feel the need to stop by and apologize, and he came back with "buying a round" of drinks, which was maybe $22-$25 (glass of beer and a glass of moscato.) I am honestly not sure what "market cost" is for the dish, but for a delicious espresso martini, another glass of Moscato, the "assorted cookies deset," and a coffee w/Baileys & pistachio whip (which was also a good choice for after dinner drink,) our bills was $225. If you go out often, you can probably figure out what that cost per plate was, and I'd say atleast $75 pp. We are ones to not really complain about food, but I feel more should have been done, than what was done, knowing as the server pointed out, "its a very expensive dish." I will not order that again, and probably should have gone with one of the pizzas. We also ordered a chicken Ceaser togo, and the next day, the lettuce was all brown and rotting, even when I cut my lettuce with a knife, which most may not know, thats what wilts the lettuce, ita never been brown like that was, the next day. Attached a picture of the left overs,
The expectations were not met. The food is ok, yet does not stand out. The bread was nice and warm, yet when the server stacks multiple baskets defeats the purpose as the fluffiness is gone. Had the tuna as a starter, not extremely fresh and a bit chewy. Rigatoni were ‘al dente’ yet watery and bland. Atmosphere is enjoyable.
Went here the other night, sat at the bar,the arancini app was delicious, atmosphere was delightful. We ordered a chicken Caesar salad which was mediocre and went unfinished and scallops lobster risotto which was relatively bland and unpleasant fishy flavor that implied it was not fresh seafood. To top it off the female bartender was unpleasant and rude. We are avid restaurant goers and former industry people and rarely complain unless its a real bad experience. we spent over 200.00 for mediocre meals and to be treated poorly. We did still however tip 20% for the sake of the other very pleasant bar staff. There better experiences for same or less money elsewhere
This was my 5th visit to the kitchen and my wife and I normally love our meals and service. Today was a different story. We arrived right at noon and we got a seat promptly, as there was nobody there. But the wait for everything after that was extremely long and the food was just mediocre today. Our bill was extremely high for lunch. I’m sure we will be back at some point but we definitely won’t be rushing back anytime soon. Very disappointed.
First off, it was extremely cold where we were placed, it wasn’t super busy so we asked our waitress if maybe we could turn down the air a little, and instead of offering to move us somewhere else we would be comfortable, we sat in front of a freezing cold fan. Then we order our 2 steak dinners and 1 salmon dinner, a couple comes in, sits next to us, is served probably 15 minutes before us…keep in mind it took close to 45min to an hour to get our food, by that time we weren’t even hungry for it. The 2 steaks were way overcooked and burnt, tasted awful. Brussel sprouts, burnt to a crisp, taste like they were rolled around in char. Absolutely disgusting. Took almost 2 hours just to be cold, have horrible service, and bad food. I have had better steak at longhorn steakhouse. I have gone to the Tuscan with my family MANY of times and spent thousands on dinners easily. I have show Tuscan so much support just to be let down like this. I would love to return but after that last time, you’d expect a little more for paying $70 a steak. Now it’s questionable.
We had a gathering of 6, I came in time, was the first and was not seated at our table, had “to wait for the rest”. It’s really unpolite and stupid) I could start drinking and would drink more) one person was late, was driving from her work, they did not want to let her in saying it’s not enough time, she was served with the main meal at the same time as the rest of us. My dish was too sour with lemon juice, it was just pasta. Servants were walking around and yarning all the time. Do they have shifts around the clock? Well, not plan to be back, really surprised to have that experience.
We arrived 10 min early for our reservation and still had to wait for about 10 min to be seated. We were sat and ordered our drinks and meal about five min later, the drink order (2 glasses of wine and a vodka tonic) took about 15 min to show up and meal took another 45 min. A steak, two pasta dishes and a pizza. My pasta was luke warm but the sauce was hot, my son's steak had bites of gristle which is odd for a filet. Was it even a filet? We were there to celebrate his birthday and had a hard time communicating with how loud the restaurant is. The slow service that rarely checked in and the average food don't add up to the bill we received. We will not be going back, its just not worth it.
Festive atmosphere. Food just isn’t good. Drowned in sauces, mid to smaller portions, and pretty expensive. Not one good thing really. Service fine albeit slow. The atmosphere excellent.
Went here to celebrate a friend’s birthday on a Sunday evening as a party of 10. It took 25 mins after our reserved time to get seated (the place was half empty), and our server was borderline hostile the whole time. She was brusque, rolled her eyes at requests for adaptations to dishes due to food intolerances, or asking for things like more bread or a paper napkin for a spill, and left us alone for long stretches. We were charged for a birthday dessert we didn’t order (she took it off the bill when we asked about it, but no apology or explanation). It took an hour for our drinks to arrive, and then another hour for food. Dishes were mixed: some delicious, like the steak, others, like the pasta dishes were so-so and not worth the price. One diners salmon was bone dry, while the risotto was bland. Overall, the food was a letdown, and the cocktails were not that flavorsome and seemed watered down. At the end of the night, we were left to figure out the bill since they wouldn’t accept separate payments, and the server abandoned us and we had to hunt her down to pay. We arrived at 5.30pm and didn’t leave until 9pm. Everything was torturously slow and we seemed generally to be unattended. Overall, overpriced, mediocre food and terrible service. I would stay away!
Quite possible one of the worst chicken parm’s I have ever had in my life. The chicken was hard and somehow soggy at the same time . Also got the shrimp scampi and the shrimp was hard . This is my second time going here with bad food experience. This place is way over hyped with poor food quality
It was the worst dining experience we've ever had. We have been here multiple times but today was unacceptable! From the start, the service was absolutely terrible. Our waitress took forever to even take our order, and we ended up waiting over an hour and a half for our main entrees. When the food finally arrived, it was clearly rushed and of extremely poor quality. My salmon was dry and overcooked, and my husband's pasta was unbearably salty and more like a watery soup than an actual dish. To make matters worse, when we spoke to the manager about our concerns, he still charged us for the entrees we didn't even touch. We only ate the appetizer, but the main courses were completely inedible. We've also shared our frustrations with friends and family, who take our feedback very seriously since we dine out often, and this experience was unacceptable. IF I COULD GIVE IT O STARS I WOULD! Overall, it was a disappointing and frustrating experience, and we will not be returning. We hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements.
We chosen the Tuscan Kitchen on Dec. 21-2025, to celebrate our son his birthday at lunchtime. We come in 1:30 our reservation time. Order appetizers and after 10 minutes order the meal. Waiting until 3:15 then the waitress comes coupled time during our waiting times, and gives us excuse. She doesn’t charge us for appetizers, by the time we decide to live. Sad and disappointed, we couldn’t celebrate his birthday. I have been many times to Tuscany market place, I used to love that. First impressions at Tuscany Kitchen. My only advice, think twice. You needs to address the management issues.
We were really disappointed with our experience at Tuscan Kitchen. The cheese wheel pasta was $60 per plate, which we only found out after ordering because it was listed as “market price.” That’s on us for not asking, but it still felt extremely misleading. For that price, the dish was nothing special—definitely not worth anywhere near $60. The presentation was flashy, but the flavor and portion size didn’t justify the cost at all. It felt like we paid for the gimmick, not the quality. Lesson learned: always ask what “market price” means here, or be prepared for serious sticker shock. Unfortunately, this experience made us feel more foolish than satisfied, and we won’t be rushing back.
This restaurant was my favorite place to go when it first opened now as of 12/26 will no longer be going back I found a hair in my oil and and a hair on the table I told the waitress bit she just made a joke about it. I feel like they really should be wiping the tables before they sit anymore down and whoever is in the kitchen preparing food or even touching the food should have a hair net
⭐☆☆☆☆ Terrible Service and Disappointing Experience Our lunch here was a complete disaster from start to finish. The server was rude, dismissive, and clearly incompetent. Our order was missing items, the food that did arrive was wrong, and what we finally got was cold — including the worst burger I’ve ever had. It took forever for the food to come out, and even the bill was incorrect. When we pointed out the issues, the server belittled us instead of trying to help. After asking several times for a manager, she eventually came over — she was polite, listened, apologized, and was generous in adjusting the bill. Unfortunately, by that point, the lunch was already ruined. I rarely leave bad reviews, but this experience was unacceptable from every angle.
It was busy at the Tuscan Kitchen so we walked through the bar area thinking maybe we could sit there. There were 4 or 5 empty circular tables available. We walked up to the front desk and asked if we could sit at a table in the bar. The neatly dressed young man with a beard barely looked up. He said that he had 300 people waiting. Thinking he misunderstood my question about siting in the bar area I clarified myself. He rudely repeated “I have 300 people waiting”. He left us with a terrible impression. Never again!
Very sad and disappointed in my experience here at Tuscan tonight. I came with my family to celebrate my birthday and as it’s a Monday night, the restaurant was pretty slow. When we first came in the host tried to seat us at a smaller table, when I asked for a bigger table (one with a booth) she told me (oh that table is only for our VIP guests, my manager won’t let me sit you there)…. There was about 30 open tables that could’ve been sat so I found it odd we couldn’t sit there. The whole time from 7pm to 9pm when we were done and the restaurant cleared out not once did anyone sit there. There were also 4 other open booth like tables just as the one I asked to sit at. Next, I had ordered a drink and the server never brought it but I just left it as is, then when our meals came I asked for my steak medium well, when it came out it was very rare so I jokingly said “Can you just throw it on the grill for a couple more minutes”. My original steak came back CHARRED… they then added another butter on top of it so I was eating charred butter at this point but I assumed since they didn’t give me a brand new piece it would be taken off the bill so i just let it be. It was never taken off the bill. The icing on the cake (literally) when desert came out was there was a black hair in the cake. I was very very disappointed with the service here tonight as well as the food. I wonder what you have to do to get part of the “VIP” club there…
We were very disappointed with the service we received at the front desk. We fully understood that it was a busy Sunday lunch and we respected the fact that we did not have a reservation. However, the way the front desk staff treated us was completely unacceptable. When we approached and asked for a table, we were told to wait for one hour, yet no one asked for our name or any information to add us to a waitlist. After waiting for approximately 40 minutes, we checked in again, only to be told that there was no record of us and that we would need to wait an additional hour. During our last visit, we spent over $500 on lunch, and it is disappointing to see a reputable restaurant employ staff who treat customers this way. Unfortunately, we will not be returning—regardless of how good the food may be—unless the customer service is significantly improved. We were very disappointed with the service we received at the front desk. We went to the Tuscan Kitchen for our anniversary Saturday and being familiar with Tuscan Brands, the bar wasn’t set terribly high. Somehow they managed to miss that mark. In making the reservation, they inquired if there was any special occasion. Why? I have no idea. Outside of a lethargic “happy anniversary“ at the door, that was the only attention given to the event for the rest of the night. Box checked - great work. Our server was very enthusiastic, it was early (5pm reservation) and she had time to chat. She brought us a bottle of sparkling and some dry limes probably from a past service. She was kind enough to review the menu with us while we got settled in. Told us she’d give us some time. She did. We had plenty of time to figure out our order and then wait on her while she was busy dancing in the kitchen. Appetizer and salad arrived together as we asked. The artichoke was great, salad was forgettable. We ate the artichoke quickly which worked out well so we could free up space for the bread that finally arrived. Whatever that undercooked loaf of bread that was presented as focaccia was is an insult to focaccia. We had time to finish our app/salad but then the table never was bussed or set for the next course. It’s glaringly apparent no investment is made into the service or support staff. There are no bussers, no server assists, and I think one food runner? We watched multiple tables left dirty for extended periods of time because the servers couldn’t possibly manage it. When the food runner came out with our entrees, we had to awkwardly hold our plates from the previous course so he could put down our meal. Once he torched some compound butter on the steak he was able to relieve of us our dishes and we had to then flag down our server for a steak knife. Cook on the steak was good and my wife enjoyed her sea bass. Which was a good thing since our server couldn’t make it back to check until we were halfway through and she now had 6 or 7 tables. We were finished with our entrees for a good 10 minutes before we saw her again and managed to get a dessert and drink order in. We then used the next 45 minutes to use the restroom, finish our drinks, and enjoy each other's company on our first childless date in years before our dessert came. Yes, 45 minutes for a flourless torte to arrive with some sloppy whipped cream and berries that my 4 y/o could have presented better. And then we waited another 10 minutes after finishing that to see our server “who no one told that our dessert came out”. We paid our bill and left. This place is pretty, most of the Tuscan brands venues are. That’s where it ends. No precision, no hospitality, and a menu that relies on flashy gimmicks like torched compound butter or table side pasta cooked in a cheese block hoping to distract you from the fact they’re charging you high end pricing with Applebees service. I have more thoughts but there’s a character limit. At least the company was great.
