I never leave restaurant reviews, but I feel obligated to for this spot as my meal was amazing! I have eaten at so many restaurants and was blown away by the food here. My mom and I went for our first time after seeing some posts on Facebook. We ordered the Wedge Salad, which came out split. I had to double check that we didn’t get two orders because the portions were gigantic! The salad was delicious- one of the best wedges I’ve had! We also got the Spinach and Artichoke Dip, which was very good. I was worried the crostini’s would be too hard, but they were cooked just right to pair with the dip! My mom and I were full after just the appetizers, but I wanted to try one more thing- the steak tips! They were perfectly cooked and marinated. The drinks off their specialty cocktail menu were also 10/10. My mom got the Peared Up Martini, which she loved, and I got the Fields of Blue, which had a splash of fresh blueberry puree in it. The bartender, Janelle, was super kind and knowledgeable of the menu. We will definitely be back and I’ve told my friends about how good this spot is! Thank you!
Excellent food and service. Great atmosphere. The drinks were skillfully crafted, the menu was well thought out and had great options. Steak was cooked to perfection. The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. No detail was ignored when creating this establishment. Great work Sear! We will be back soon and often!
Amazing restaurant in Dracut. Wednesdays there's a dinner special for two for 69.99. Pick one appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert. We chose the Caesar salad for the appetizer and it was amazing. Picture a wedge salad but as a Caesar... phenomenal dressing. My wife had the steak and I chose the Filet mignon tips. Both were spectacular. They come with mashed potatoes that were very good and we chose an additional side of Brussels sprouts. Trust me even if you hate Brussels sprouts you will absolutely love these... they're almost candied with bacon. For dessert we chose the affogado. Vanilla ice cream with espresso poured over it... run don't walk to this restaurant... you won't be disappointed.
My husband and I’s first time at SEAR Steak Lounge & Cocktails in Dracut. Great service by Amanda, delicious food/drinks and good music. I got the salmon and my husband got the ribeye with bearnaise. We also added the creamed corn for a side which was sooo yummy. Highly recommend!
Fantastic new restaurant in Dracut a little upscale but we needed a place like this. The food was outstanding and made a great date night. We will definitely be going again soon
Been going to Stir for years now. It our favorite restaurant, and when we heard they had opened Sear yesterday, we HAD to come! Sear did not disappoint! Food, Drinks, and Service are what we had expected and we of course will be back. Thank you guys! See you soon
This is a cozy spot that absolutely kills it every time I come in. $1.00 Oyster night is dangerous. The fries might be addicting.
Really chill vibes here & the food & drinks are on another level! Great music and awesome bartenders!
Excellent service and delicious menu and drink options.
Great price for amazing steak tips
Janelle and Sabrina are great!!! Delicious affordable meals Plenty of parking Great service and awesome drinks Date night specials are awesome !!!
We have visited Sear a handful of times over the past 6 months, and each time our experience was excellent. It's a very unassuming little place but the ambience is great. Service is exceptional, the staff is very friendly, great food and cocktails. This is our go-to spot anytime we can get away from the kids for a few hours.
My husband and I enjoyed our experience here. The restaurant itself is small but the dark modern atmosphere is chic. His steak was cooked perfectly and was very well seasoned. The shrimp scampi tasted very fresh and the sauce was light. We also saved room for the cinnamon bun dessert and demolished it! The server was extremely friendly and outgoing. I love that we don't have to drive into Boston anymore for a great steak house. We will definitely be back.
Excellent New Restaurant in Dracut. We have been to the Westford location called Stir, which was excellent!! We were really looking forward to this opening since we live in Dracut and there are barely any good upscale restaurants! Went last Saturday and it did not disappoint! Exceptional food, and awesome cocktails! Steak was awesome as was the chicken parm dish. Awesome atmosphere and fantastic bar. Big shout out to our exceptional bartenders Janelle and Destiny they were awesome and so attentive and on top of everything! This has most definitely made our favorite list!! We certainly will be back again soon!!
Fabulous place … just paying now from a much needed date night out .. service, drinks, food and desserts were fabulous. Small so ideal for couples or 4 max but so worth it!
The food was amazing; the braised short rib fell apart on the fork it was so tender... and the stuffed pork chop was sweet, tangy, and a touch of char DELICIOUS. Drinks and cocktails were top notch. Most important: The Service - Never rushed but always observant; the atmosphere was perfect.
We've visited twice. Awesome steak-filet which was seasoned and cooked exactly as ordered, the pork chop was fabulous. Plank Salmon was excellent. Sides were all delicious. They also have a nice wine list. Staff and atmosphere were warm and welcoming. Excellence all around.
Tried for the first time tonite. Filet was delicious. It was cooked perfect, mashed potatoes were creamy. We ordered the carrots and creamed corn. Both were delicious. Finished off with the cinnamon roll and ice cream dessert. Just need a bite of that. It was hot and the ice cream melted quickly but it was GOOD. Glad we tried it. Will definitely go again. The chicken parm with vodka sauce is very tasty we were told. 2 people at the bar were eating it. It was a big portion. Great bar, and they had New Zealand Sauv Blanc. You should try it! 10/10!!
Food was really good and the drinks was crafted really good and our server Johnathan was the best ask for him trust me his recommendations do not disappoint
I did not take a picture but my husband and I went this weekend and it was great ! We first tried the oyster(s) (the first time for both) and it was fresh and my husband who does not like seafood enjoyed it as well. This place was more for my husband then me since I am not a huge steak person but they had amazing options , the ceaser salad and lobster bisque , The crab cake (OMG so good) and my husband got a steak (which he said was great) and the mash potato was "prefectttttt". Overall, will return my only thing was they could have added more lobster to the soup but they still get a five star from :)
Great brand new restaurant in Dracut, all four of us had a excellent dining experience from the Cocktails that were chilled to perfection to appetizers, entrees, deserts and friendly staff to top it all off. We will definitely be back.
Finally!! a higher end restaurant spot 👌 Let me just say food and drinks 🍸 😋 are spectacular 👌 and the bartenders and waitstaff are the cherry on top! Very professional 👏 . I love love ❤️ 😍 . Its worth every penny.
Food was absolutely amazing and impeccable service! I went with friends last week and couldn’t wait to take my family tonight! So happy to have a local restaurant with amazing food and service!
Staff is wonderful and the food & drinks are delicious. Steaks cooked to perfection and all the sides are delicious.
Good food at a decent price. Steaks come with starch and the ala cart prices are reasonable.
Excellent service, and vibe. Wait times expected for a new establishment! Happy to have a new, and classy restaurant in the area !!
Best martinis and steak in the area
Food and service was fantastic! So nice to have an upscale restaurant in dracut.
A great overall experience. Can't wait to go back.
Full disclosure! Sear was our second choice for Valentines Day because we were late for our reservation at our “first” choice restaurant and all I can say is I’am SO HAPPY our first choice didn’t work out because Sear did not disappoint!! Our waitress Jenelle was amazing! She explained that all the staff worked together so anyone could help anytime and as a small business owner myself, I knew this place was a hidden gem within the first 5 minutes! My boyfriend at I had the pork dumpling app, he had the steak tip dinner and I had the spicy penne vodka dish, everything was 10/10! We will be returning very soon to try the croquettes and mudslides! :)
My wife and I finally got around to trying the Sear Lounge and we both left totally satisfied. I didn't expect an upscale restaurant to work located in the Bridge St. Plaza, but it does. The decor is beautiful, the service was great and all of our food was delicious. It was a little on the pricey side but sometimes good food costs a little more. We'll be back for more!
Service was top notch Jonathan took great care of us and helped us to celebrate a special moment. He was full of information and great conversation. We enjoyed a burger, Mongolian beef, and the filet. Everything was seasoned well and cooked perfected. We then enjoyed the coconut cake and the chocolate flourless cake.
Food was great, steaks were slightly overcooked in my opinion for med rare, but to no loss of flavor and were really, still very good. Place was nice, clean, staff was unbelievably nice and attentive. Due to a strange layout it did feel a bit like we were eating off in a side room. Bar wasn't too loud, music was not what you'd expect for a place like that but it was modern so we didnt mind it at all either. I did sit against a wall by the kitchen which was my only real complaint, kitchen is loud and busy ( as it should be ). Every 15/30 seconds there was a loud thud of what i can imagine was a freezer door slamming shut. Sometimes very loud, but always shaking the table and my seat. Wasn't enough to ruin my experience by any means, but maybe they arent aware that the seat closet to the kitchen door is more of a war zone than s relaxing date light table lol. Overall great food, enjoyed out night and would stop in again if we are back in the area.
Stopped in and sat at the bar after avoiding traffic on the highway. Great cocktails. Had the Manhattan and wife had an old fashion and not were crafted perfectly. Went straight for the entrees. We had the 14oz. NY Strip med. seasoned and cooked perfectly. Had chili garlic asparagus. Cooked perfectly but needed more seasoning. Tried the sauce flight and the chimichuri and herbed butter were delicious. Dessert were espresso martinis dark made perfectly.
This place was outstanding. The food, drinks, and service were absolutely top-notch. I am so pleased to have a gem so close to home. The cocktails and food were only outdone by Amanda's service. Will be back.
I liked this place. They where out of a couple apps but the waitress tried her best to makeup for it. Drinks where great and steaks top notch. I was pleasantly surprised
Updated Review – Much Better the Second Time My first visit to SEAR LOUNGE in Dracut was a letdown—the ribeye was overcooked, dry, and lacked flavor. It was a big disappointment. But I gave it another chance, and I’m glad I did. This time, the ribeye was perfectly cooked to a juicy medium, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. It completely redeemed my opinion of the place. SEAR LOUNGE can deliver a top-tier steakhouse experience. Worth trying—just hope they’re on their A-game when you go. I did ask for extra seasoning on my steak and it made a big difference! Well done 👏🏻 INITIAL REVIEW: I had high hopes walking into SEAR LOUNGE in Dracut, but those hopes quickly vanished when my $68 ribeye steak arrived. I ordered it medium, and what I got was a dry, overcooked slab with the texture of cardboard and zero flavor. For that price, I expected a perfectly cooked, well-seasoned cut of meat—not something that tasted like it had been forgotten on the grill, flavorless. Even the sides couldn’t save the meal, and the service was nothing special either, just mediocre. For a restaurant that markets itself as a high-end steakhouse, this was a major letdown. Save your money—and your taste buds—and go elsewhere.
Very good first time experience. Reasonably priced.
I had high hopes for this place that had great reviews throughout various Facebook blogs. Came on a Friday night, about 530ish. There was a packed bar, and only 2 tables up front occupied. Nobody waiting in line. Was told there was over an hour wait. I asked should we have reserved and the hostess said no. We had a toddler with us who was getting hungry so we took a walk and came by 15 minutes later to pop in and say remove our name we are going somewhere else and they said there had been a table open for 10 minutes now. Kind of odd, but we sat down. We placed orders right away (truffle fries for the kiddo) and 2 orders of wings, garlic parm and pineapple bourbon. We got 1 order of wings with 2 sauces on the side - assuming 1 was honey mustard and the other perhaps the pineapple but I couldn't tell the flavor. Wings bland and tasteless, like they were previously frozen. No effort went into this appetizer. Plus we only got one order not both and luckily we did because they were not anything to rave about. Our waitress, Elizabeth, did not ask if we even wanted the second when we mentioned it was incorrect. We ordered the double petite filet, the short rib and for our toddler the tips. The tips were tasty but bordering raw. Sent them back and the second order was not even well done, a few were medium rare the rest medium. He didnt even eat them. Wasn't bothering a second time to get a third order. My short rib was amazing. I ate the whole plate pretty much and gave my son 2 of the carrots. The filet was good also. Our waitress asked once how our meal was, but only as soon as the food went down to the table, and I had not even had mine yet.... cant comment on what I dont even have nor food any of us tried. Our waters ran dry and it took 10 minutes to refill, even finding Elizabeth to get her attention. She was bubbly and friendly but not that attentive. At the end of Service a couple sat next to us and we heard their waiter give them a run down of specials, none of which we were told about. I ordered dessert to go, the GF flour less chocolate cake and when the item is described as rich, it was VERY rich. I feel that while it comes with a Gelato, some may want whipped cream, a berry coulis or something to accompany and cut through that heavy slab of chocolate. It was similar to a lindt bar, soft but firm. I asked to swap the vanilla bourbon Gelato for pistachio so my son could enjoy it and that was delicious. There was a fly that kept hovering above our food and I know its the season but it was kind of annoying. I wish service was apps were better. There should be a better system on waiting for a table because if we didnt stop in to say we are going elsewhere, we would've waited the hour and 15 minutes to come back. There's no waiting room to sit and wait, especially with a fussy hungry toddler, to be called 5 minutes after you were told 1 hr 15 minutes. I wanted to like it but theres nothing that would make me want to come back.
The great things are that the service was excellent, food appearance and presentation was excellent, food tasted great, and the overall place was clean and very nice in appearance. The balance of the entire place was off because there is a big bar area in the middle with booths and a few tables around the perimeter of the bar. The music was what I would expect to hear in a dance club. As the bar area got louder, we needed to lean in towards each other to have a conversation. The balance is off because is it primarily a bar or a great food restaurant? It would do great as a nice restaurant, which is needed in the area, but the big bar area throws it off.
The drinks and appetizers/sides were great. However when it came to the steak it was ok definitely not worth it. Very fatty and just bad quality, no flavor either. The server was great but I think more help would’ve made the experience better. For the price paid for dinner I would go to Boston instead and pay a little more.
Kinda disappointed in how look it took to receive order, especially drink. Food portions were kinda small and the cornbread was like one slice!
Definitely not a bad experience but did not live up to the “upscale restaurant” comments I’ve seen about this place. I got a ribeye such tasted good, however it was only about 1/4” thick, not the usual 1” thick steak you’d expect from a restaurant listed as upscale. I was however really disappointed with the jasmine rice, it was quite literally microwaved rice that comes in a cup at a grocery store, I could tell by the fact that it was half cooked, and gummy. The cocktails were great, but definitely not worth the hefty $17 price tag. The server was very friendly, and I had a good experience, just not something I’m craving to go back and experience again.
So disappointed. Went tonight to celebrate my husband's birthday. His steak was over cooked and tough. My steak was under cooked. The manager was defending their grade of meat. She took mine off the bill but was not very apologetic for our bad experience. Definitely not a top notch steak house as expected. Drinks were great, server was great. Atmosphere so so. Sitting there and a squeegee came flying out of the kitchen with a worker laughing chasing after it....
Went to Sear for dinner on New Year’s Eve. There was a limited menu, which was not advertised on their site or open table when making the reservation. I was hoping to get a burger, but they told me they could not make one. The buffalo chicken appetizer came out cold. My husbands green beans that came with his meal were cold as well. My pasta was room temp and mushy. I attempted to email the restaurant regarding the experience and never heard back. Disappointing experience.
Visited this weekend after seeing a huge rave about this place on Facebook. Got a bad taste immediately with multiple intoxicated people outside smoking. Trying to navigate through a poorly designed parking lot with what seems like a "upscale" restaurant in between two rowdy dive bars, it's hard to tell where the outdoor smoking traffic began and finished. Drinks are the only reason I gave it the stars I did. Well mixed Onto the food. The wait times were astronomical. Well over 45 minutes for RARE steaks. By the time they came out the side of mashed potatoes was cold and very glue like in texture. The steak was cooked properly, but was just bland. Lacked even the basics such as cracked black pepper or salt. My husbands lobster was a bit rubbery. For our bill to be well over $185 | was grotesquely disappointed in the quality. More time spent making the bar look pretty than serving quality foods. Personally ill just continue to go to Boston. At least there I know to anticipate drunk people in the streets and the food is worth the elevated price point not just the granite bartops.
UPDATED: The response from Sears Lounge below was insincere and written to look better for Google - after 2 emails to them - they didn't give the courtesy of a response - extremely disappointing after our experience. This is not a service oriented business. But I've shared my experience and others will not be patroning this restaurant either. Go to Kelari's up the street - great food and atmosphere! After seeing the menu and not having many local restaurants I picked this one to take my parents for their anniversary. I was SO disappointed. The bar was relatively busy, but the dining room was not. We did not get our drinks until the FIRST meal was delivered. That was AFTER our appetizer. The remaining meals were not delivered until 10 minutes later - very awkward for my mother eating by herself. The steak tips were good but undercooked and had to be returned. We went in for the date night - but was told that it was only Wednesday and Thursday - we told the waiter that was not listed on the website, and he said he would make sure to correct it. The bill took forever to get, the waiter was chatting with another employee for some time. VERY disappointed. Our friends have had a good experience at the bar, and we often meet up with them - but given this experience, we will only meet them elsewhere. This was a celebration gone south......
My boyfriend’s steak that was supposed to be medium rare and it was RARE. They brought it back threw the same steak on and then the majority of the steak was fat. Out of a 14 oz. Ribeye, he only ate about half due to cutting around the fat. The waiter was great and accommodating. For the price we paid it should have been a lot better. The quality of the steak should have been at the 99 for $15. Not worth the price at all. Maybe a good place to go for drinks but that’s about it. The atmosphere was a little off. The restaurant wants to upscale really bad but they are playing trashy club music while you’re trying to enjoy your dinner. We won’t be coming back to this place. But at least we know.
Unbelievably bad service, and we give servers a lot of latitude in general. This was above and beyond bad, over an hour and a half to get food, and the waiter was no where to be seen. Didn't even acknowledge how slow get were. Never even got water refilled even once. Food was mid at best, nothing special despite trying to be fancy. It's really a faux fancy bar that has a few tables. The central bar is loud and clearly the main focal point, the tables feel like being on the sidelines.
