Opinions de Saigon Noodles Salinas
I absolutely love Saigon Noodles. I typically order off of grubhub. The food quality and portions are spectacular. My go to is the pork chop rice plate and a taro milk tea smoothie. The pork chops are always juicy and tender and the rice is always fluffy. Love that they serve lettuce with it as I use it to wrap the pork chops and dip it in the dipping sauce. Occasionally order the pho, the broth is slightly sweet so just keep that in mind. 10/10 would recommend ordering from them. Great lunch or dinner and always quick service.
We enjoyed our phó! I prefer the Noodle House flavor but my wife enjoys the soup base flavor here better!
Best Pho in Salinas! Fried rice and chowmein are excellent. Their boba drinks are 10/10. Never change your recipe or quality and people will keep coming back!
The best Vietnamese iced coffee I have evvvvvveeeeerrrrrr had. And make sure to order the shaking beef - you won’t regret it. I only visit California once a year and I always make sure to come!
Can't say enough good things about our experience here. Delicious food, served quickly, at an affordable pricing. The waitstaff was not only attentive but also greeted us warmly when we first entered the restaurant. I can't remember the last time we were welcomed so warmly. The owner introduced himself to us and somehow knew it was our first time. He recommended some dishes and did not disappoint. Can't wait to return
I ordered the tofu banh mi sandwich and it was incredible! Best one i’ve had. The tofu was very flavorful and the bread was crispy. The staff was very nice as well. I’ll definitely be coming back.
This is an amazing and efficient little restaurant, I’ve had the sandwiches which are all good , my fave plates are the spring rolls appetizers and peanut sauce, lemongrass chicken and shaking beef over the garlic noodles! They also have great Thai tea and bobas and their seasonal smoothies are bomb!
The food here is great and our server was very kind and fast with service. We also ordered drinks to go, which were perfect and not too sweet. There was a small mishap with our order, but the staff were quick to correct it and very friendly - they even offered us a free appetizer to make up for it. This is one of the best pho spots in the area!
Fresh food, generous portions, friendly staff
Saigon Noodles in Salinas has been opened for 5 years. Their restaurant is VERY VERY CLEAN and the decor is simple but nice. The staff was friendly, and was willing to make some adjustments to what we wanted for our order. The drinks are AMAZING....and they have lots of varieties you can choose from. With Boba or without. The Thai Ice Tea is so delicious and our waitress was nice enough to tweak my Peach Ice Tea so it wasn't so sweet! The Mango and Papaya salad was perfect...not too sweet and they give you so much!! One of their popular items is their Garlic Noodle dish. We'll have to try it next time we go. Food was delicious and fresh tasting and portions are large! Presentation was very nice too! Enjoy!!
Always the best , hot and fresh <3 I get this now over any other Asian cuisine in the area. Garlic noodles I’ve had , the beef sandwich is juicy and filled with fresh vegetables. Idk where they get the bread from or if they make it in house ; it’s so fluff. Tried the egg noodles today, server said that’s what she eats. I think better than Garlic Noodles for me! Here are some pics, always nice to eat there if I have time. Thank you Saigon Noodles. Fresh and filling enough for leftovers for lunch as well. 1. Beef Bahn mi 2. Chicken and Shrimp Egg Noodles 3. Thai Tea with Boba
I'm not a huge fan of pho, but the pho here is amazing!! They offer huge portions at an affordable price. This is going to be my go-to spot for pho. I paired it with a mango smoothie, and it was the chef's kiss. It's located in a small area in north Salinas, so it could be easy to miss but make sure to try it out! You don't want to miss out on fantastic pho! You're greeted and seated right away, and the staff is super friendly and are very attentive.
I just had stir fried vegetables and tofu over rice and the tofu spring rolls as my appetizer with hot jasmine tea. Everything was delicious and nicely proportioned. Happy I came here.
As of 2/2023, cash only :( Ate here for the first time on a Sunday between lunch and dinner. Place wasn't packed, felt casual, and the service was super fast. Spring roll (shrimp & pork) appetizer was brought out a minute after we placed our order. They waited for us to almost finish before they brought our medium bowls of pho. Broth is good, plenty of meat too. Definitely want to come back to try their pork vermicelli and banh mi, among other things.
Delicious food, fast service, and affordable prices. We were looking for a quick bowl of noodles recently, and found this place to be exactly what we needed. I had the banh mi (sandwich), and others had soup. All the ingredients were very fresh.

Great food. The fried shrimp, fried calamari and the garlic noodles with beef are amazing! Definitely would drive from Watsonville to Salinas again for this.
Portions are absolutely huge. I had the Garlic noodles and they were so delicious. I recommend it. You get more than what you pay for and they're very fast.

We were visiting from out of town and was hoping to enjoy there food but got in at 8 and was told only to order to go. Sadly we didn't. We got the pho combo and stir fry noodles with spring rolls which was suppose to be egg rolls. Over the food is good but my medium pho was small. I don't know if that is the actual size for dine in or because it's a to go bowl but it's a small size.
No one to seat me for a while. Only 2 people inside
I forgot how good this place is. Prices have gone up. My only complaint was today they allowed a couple to come in with their small dog. The dog obviously was not a service animal and not properly trained. It was even barking at the waiter when they were taking their orders. I get that the owner and workers are dog lovers and so am I, but I found this inappropriate they were not enforcing any health protocols.
Called in last minute to make reservation, was so nice to get the table ready for me within 40 minutes for 7 people. Ordered pho, shaking beef, banh xeo, and others that I could not remember. Their pho was good, big portion and full of meat. Unfortunately the sirloin was overcooked and the other parts of the meat have too much fats in them, so it was down on the score. Their shaking beef was also meh, very thin and overly sweet, probably not their strongest dish. Banh xeo was full of meat and fillings, but not particularly crispy. All in all, it was tasty but only lacking a bit here and there. Their service was pretty good though. Their restaurants are also huge, which is a plus.
Bought the medium bowl & it was a very nice portion. I believe I went with the #3 or #4 Pho soup.Flavor was decent ,noodles were perfect. If I had 1 thing to critique it would be it had no tendons . They only had 1 soup to choose from that had it. I’ve been to other Pho places where tendons are included in most soups. This was my first time here overall I would gladly return to try more plates in the future.

3 out 5 star pho restaurant. Pretty empty at Sunday noon. I stopped here on my way to Monterey Aquarium. Food is average. I had steak plate with rice and my wife had steak pho and shrimp rolls wraps with peanut sauce. My wife ate half of the pho bowl and half the shrimp in lettuce wrap. It was shrimp with dark green lettuce wrap and a smooth peanut butter sauce. I ate her pho. It wasn't bad and it wasn't great. Just average. The bill was $45.
The two soups we ordered were tasty but unfortunately that was the only food that was good. The deep fried chicken wings and fries were over cooked, bland, and dry while the pork chop was raw (raw pork is not acceptable at any restaurant). The service was good but is not enough to give this restaurant a second chance.
The Banh mi sandwiches used to be filling with pickled vegetables! For 2x in a row, the bbq beef is just half the amount & served with unpickled strips of veggies. Flavor was meh! Gave it another shot some other time, we were provided with the same deteriorated quality. This used to be my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Salinas for 10 years. However, these past 2 years things have significantly changed! I’m not sure if I still want to be a repeat customer here. Sorry for the comment. I really want this food place to be better or at least as good as before.
There are a few favorites in Salinas. This used to be our go to restaurant. However, lately, I’ve noticed the Bahn mi sandwich was served with no flavor veggies when itheyre supposed to be marinated in the vinegar concoction. I asked, the staff said they ran out of it! Another time, giving it another chance, the food flavors were so much different. I asked why the flavor and amount of the food are now different, we were notified , there was a change of management already. Solution to this if the restaurant wants their regular customers to be back is to bring back the authentic Vietnamese flavors, ampunt of food and charm! This post is to request for that change for the better. Sorry.

We ordered our food via Uber eats so can only review the food. Rate roast beef pho - rare beef not rare when you put it in the broth to package for delivery. Wrap in plastic wrap and let the customer add it. No sauces were provided to spice it up. Flavour of broth was mediocre Shakin beef over garlic noodles - absolutely NO flavour whatsoever! Dull and flavourless
I get it that it’s Sunday and it’s very busy… but fully charging me for drinks I never received and extremely cold food? Never again.
Never got my food I was ignored lol i waited over 45 min lol and then they tried to charge me for my drink.
Normally I’m very excited to eat their Special combination Pho soup, but this time that I ordered delivery, the broth itself was completely watered down with what tasted like faucet water. I know it was watered down because I usually leave leftover broth for the next day to enjoy and I noticed it was not gelatinous like how it always is. I’m very upset to have spent $25 through DoorDash on literal watery noodles, I hope you guys take this review into consideration.
Very disappointing experience due to extremely poor and unorganized service. We went to Saigon Noodles in Salinas with a group of four. We ordered seafood noodle soup, stir-fried garlic noodles with shrimp, stir-fried noodles with beef, and popcorn chicken with fries for a kid. Only the seafood soup and the popcorn chicken with fries came out. The other two noodle dishes never arrived. We also asked for 3 extra bowls, which didn’t come either. After waiting, we had to wave down a man walking around the restaurant to ask for the bowls, which arrived about 7 minutes later. The waitress disappeared for about 15 minutes. When we finally waved her down and told her we were still missing food, she said she would check but never came back. Since two people had already finished eating, we went to the front and asked to have the remaining two noodle dishes made to go. She apologized and said okay. After waiting another 20 minutes, the waitress came back and asked if we needed anything. We told her we were still waiting on our to-go order. She then said she thought we had canceled the two noodle dishes, which we absolutely did not. She said she would check to see if the kitchen could make them. At that point, after so much waiting and confusion, we decided to just pay and leave to get food elsewhere for the other two people. When we went to pay, the cashier tried to charge us for all the food, including the two dishes we never received. Thankfully, those were removed, and we only paid for what actually came out. The service was very poorly managed, slow, and disorganized. No follow-up, no communication, and way too much waiting for such a simple order. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back.
Tofu Sandwich / Bánh Mì Đậu Hũ were both very salty. One hardly had any tofu and covered with salty sauce. I had to remove the stuff and rinse and changed bread on both. Hardly any veggies. The 8B. Will not buy again

Gave me a water with the cup dripping water all over like they just filled it from a bucket, no straws, kitchen looks dirty, pho was blend, place sucks.
This place used to be decent for Uber Eats... up until 2025. I gave them too many chances. They often list items that aren’t even available, which is really frustrating. Why have it on the menu if you don’t have it? On October 12th, 2025, I ordered ox tail soup and a plate for my partner. When the order arrived after waiting an hour, the ox tail pho was missing. The delivery driver was polite and mentioned that the restaurant supposedly called me about it... but I never received any call. All I wanted was some soup since I am unwell, and instead I got a disappointing experience for the price and wait time. Don’t trust the overall 4+ star rating on Google! Pay attention to the recent reviews! They tell the real story.
You need to hire more staff. I understand it gets busy especially on a cold/rainy day. When I walked into the restaurant, half of the tables were uncleaned , flies everywhere. I had to ask for the menu and order right away because I knew the servers would not come to me unless I call them over. I saw couple of families leaving because no one was watching the hall. Put some smile on your face because no one wants feel unwelcomed.
NASTY AND RUDE!!!!! Nasty place, with nasty service, asked for fresh limes and the “manager” said that was all they had, because apparently they pre cut all their limes so they definitely never have fresh limes for your soup. This place used to be a favorite. But her shitty attitude and nasty ingredients this place quickly went down. The lemon and jalapeños looked like they were dry for over a week, makes you think what all the other ingredients looks like. Def not the freshest, and it’s not like it’s free, people pay for this! Asked to speak to someone else and there’s no one else you can speak to because they don’t speak English, good luck to anyone who dares coming here.
It’s been about 3 times now that I order for pickup, I show up and they tell me they can’t complete my order. The things I’ve heard: they don’t have the ingredients and they can’t cook anything at the moment. Then why be open? Why accept the orders? Why not cancel the order? I show up in person and that’s when they tell me my order will be cancelled. This business wasted my time, money and gas.
This is my favorite place for pho but lately the service has not been great at all. I like eating here in person but today I decided to order takeout. I called, a man picked up and the service was good. Sent my dad to pick the food up and I talked to an employee there to confirm what was included in my order and everything was correct. When my dad gets in the car there is a missing item so he had to go back and talk to them about it. They made the order but once he got home we realized they had given us the wrong soup. Decided to call the restaurant to let them know that they had given us the wrong order but when we spoke to them it’s as if they were trying to blame us for their mistake. My family and I come here often so we know who the experienced servers are but these girls seemed to be new. I understand mistakes happen but when they do it’s also important to own up to them instead of blaming the customers for it. Especially when they had already messed up the order by missing an item and making us wait longer for it when it should’ve been there from the start. Food is great but the service lately has been disappointing. There are servers with excellent service who make our experience here great but the last few times that I’ve been here it seems as if the new servers are lacking to provide good service. Won’t be coming back here for a while.
I don't usually leave reviews but I had to for this one - service was ridiculous. Came in on a 30 minute lunch break, ordered a single order of spring rolls. Nothing else. I don't know how they messed it up this bad but I never got them. I waited 25 minutes and made myself late for work, but they still never came. There was barely anyone even in the shop, it's not like they were busy. I had to go back to work hungry and very angry at how poorly this place was ran. I'm sure the food is good, but I wouldn't know. Was given a refund, at least, but no other effort to try and help me out
