We went for dinner with two children, and I can only praise the place. The food was excellent, very tasty and balanced, with generous portions. The price was more than fair. The service was impeccable, even though it was quite busy; attentive and professional. Definitely worth repeating.

I was there in December 2024, in a perfect Christmas atmosphere. A truly positive experience, the venue was perfect, the food was top notch...we'll definitely be back. The service was impeccable, the waiter a true gentleman! Definitely the best place I've ever eaten. Highly recommended.

I’m here on a bike tour and this is where they sent my group tonight. I was blown away by the uovo dish: egg cooked with milk and parmesan and caramelized onions. It was to die for. I’m contemplating going back tomorrow, because this doesn’t feel like the sort of thing I can figure out at home. I asked if I could have decaf coffee for my deconstructed tiramisu and he said yes, so I will sleep tonight😅. I am mostly vegetarian and the waiter was able to tweak several different dishes, so ask. Some they weren’t able to change, but many they were. I haven’t had such a lovely dining experience in a long time. The tour paid for it so I don’t know what to tell you in terms of price per person.

September 16, 2023 Another amazing dinner. The menu changes monthly, and last night we had pepper rolls and seafood tart, walnut and Bra sausage risotto, and gobbi (a type of gobbi) with butter and sage. We asked the kitchen to surprise us with some surprise desserts, and they did. I can't increase the stars because I've already given it my all, but every time it's a sublime discovery of flavors and combinations. The dining room team is also top-notch, with extremely friendly staff. A must-try, highly recommended for a romantic dinner. October 2022 I didn't think it was possible, but they've outdone themselves in their new location. It was already top-notch before, but now it's truly exceptional. Upon entering, you find yourself in a restaurant in the historic center with brick vaults, a simple yet refined table setting, soothing lighting, and attention to every detail. The extremely kind and knowledgeable staff are ready to accommodate guests' requests, and they also have an excellent wine list. Last but not least, the restaurant's crowning glory is its sophisticated cuisine, where tradition and innovation reign supreme, not to mention the gourmet presentation of the dishes. Absolutely not to be missed.

The tavern recently moved to a more central location near the town hall, while still keeping its name. The restaurant has a modern style, with meticulous attention to detail; even the bathroom sink area displays some items sold in Saluzzo shops. I really appreciated the marimo detail on the table instead of the traditional plant or candle. As for the menu, it changes based on seasonality and the availability of ingredients. They also welcomed us with an amuse-bouche, a truly delicious cherry tomato focaccia. We ordered: - Fassona steak tartare on a bed of Castelmagno fondue and Langhe hazelnuts - Ravioles, potato gnocchi, and Melle tomino cheese, typical of the Varaita Valley - Fresh egg pasta tajarin sautéed in butter on a pumpkin cream with coppa powder - Long-cooked braised capocollo in Barbera wine - Half-portion of cheese square - Rum Bavarian cream with dried figs and almonds - Langhe hazelnut cake with zabaglione sauce I really appreciated the fact that even though we ordered an appetizer and a first course/a first course and a second course, they always brought one dish each at the same time, so those who didn't have an appetizer didn't have to wait. The dishes, besides being aesthetically pleasing, are also very tasty. The braised meat melted in the mouth, and the tartare was truly fresh and delicious. The first courses were a bit more bland, although their quality was absolutely unquestionable. The desserts were also very good, the hazelnut cake melted in your mouth.

Everything was perfect! From the attentive and friendly staff to the quality of the dishes. After ordering, they gave us a complimentary savory cookie with a cup. The same went for the coffee, where they offered us delicious cookies. The prices are truly reasonable for the quality of the dishes. I'll definitely recommend this place!

Bellissima e romantica location nel meraviglioso centro storico di Saluzzo... Accoglienza super animali compresi capo sala giovane ma veramente professionale e servizievole... Cucina piemontese molto curata con ottime carni ma non mancano portate di pesce il tutto in dosi giuste e con buoni prezzi per la qualità dei prodotti... La carta dei vini può soddisfare tutti anche i più esigenti... La quinta stella era in mia compagnia perciò non fa parte del locale... 😉... Locale da provare tranquillamente farete un figurone👍

Provato nella nuova location attigua all'hotel Antiche Mura. Materie prime di qualità, ma qualche difetto tecnico non gli permette di raggiungere le 5 stelle. Ad esempio i paccheri ripieni di ricotta e salsiccia di Bra, si presentavano troppo secchi e la ricotta era coperta completamente coperta dalla salsiccia, mentre ottima la crema di melanzane che le accompagna e si sposava perfettamente con la salsiccia e la maggiorana. Personale molto gentile. Rapporto qualità prezzo ok. Nel complesso locale sicuramente da provare.

The service and cuisine were both excellent. The dishes were wonderful, traditional fare reimagined with a modern twist. The value for money was excellent, and the wine list was decent, with prices more reasonable than average. The only downside, even though we had a reservation, was that they put us in the breakfast room of the adjacent hotel. There were still a few crumbs here and there, and the atmosphere was very different from the rest of the dining rooms, which were decidedly more refined. In any case, this didn't impact the experience in the slightest, which remained top-notch.

A bad experience - in twenty years visiting Italy and eating around - this is the most disappointing. The quail was almost raw, the veggies overcooked. When remarked upon the quail was taken away and 'redone'. When returned the quail was barely okay, the vegetables by then were cold. The staff is well intended but inexperienced and overwhelmed. Other than 'I'm sorry' there was no response. There are many alternatives around saluzzo that offer better food and dining experience.

We had to wait quite a long time until our meals were served. Even longer it took until we could pay our bill because we had to wait for the chef to come out of the kitchen to make the bill. The waitress was not allowed to... The food was good except for the sauce the for the gnocchi.

To forget It's perhaps the worst dining experience of my life. The atmosphere is completely out of step with the historical context of the building and the area in which it's located. All the walls are white and lit by false frames that are more suited to a nightclub than a historic trattoria. Even the chairs (without cushions) are white, as are the tablecloths...everything gives the impression of a hospital rather than a restaurant...anyway, a matter of taste. But now comes the best part. I ordered a rump, expecting something tender and tasty, but instead I was served a piece of dried meat that would have taken a saw to cut. You can imagine how I felt putting that morsel in my mouth...I left everything else behind. I asked for the bill and the waitress told me she'd give it to me at reception...There, the chef arrived, all sulky, with my plate in his hand and all the meat sliced, declaring that it was cooked perfectly and that the dish couldn't have been any other way. It's a shame he didn't try it...but that's how things go....I paid and I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone.

Claustrophobic restaurant on a narrow street in the center of Saluzzo. Menu with limited choices and banal dishes. The quality of the dishes lacks flavor and quality. Slow and confusing service. High prices for a trattoria that claims to be a restaurant...
