I come here often but since they've changed managers, it has been so much better! The service was great but I really want to commend the manager. I think her name was Lindy, (if I remember correctly). She came over to our table to ensure that we were taken care of and had everything we needed. She was very personable and extremely friendly. She was helping her staff seat, serve and cash out when they were getting slammed. I definitely recommend going there for a delicious breakfast and very friendly management!
Good food & great service! Despite being busy the staff always made sure we were informed of the wait, had full drinks, & everything we needed for the table. The manager, Lindsy, was constantly moving around to make sure every table was happy, checked on personally, and handled everything with such kindness. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guests and her team. Can’t recommend this place enough!
The food here wasn’t too bad and prices weren’t either, but my server Lindy was amazing she took great care of me and my girls, she was very polite, and made she we had what we needed as well as that we were satisfied. She did a great job staying on top of our refills as well we never went thirsty ❤️ more restaurants definitely need servers like this. She earned her tip for sure!😊
Good food. It’s like home cooking so it takes a little longer for the food to arrive. Waitress, Lindsey?Lindy?Linda?, was knowledgeable and pleasant. Kept our drinks filled and informed about our food wait time even though they seemed a little busy.
I had the privilege of having Joddie as my waitress and I would truly like to say she makes this restaurant, she is always so positive and Attentive
Had the pleasure of being served by joddie, I have been coming for years and she is by far their best waitress
Jody and other staff always provide excellent table and customer service. Food has not ever disappointed!
We eat here often. They have the best breakfast for the money. The purpose of this review is to bring attention to their support for veterans. Most restaurants (not all) offer a free drink or appetizer or desert. The best you find is the cheapest meal they can conjure up to give. HUDDLE HOUSE lays out their best breakfast for free on Veterans Day. Their MVP breakfast is phenomenal. We normally do buy this awesome all inclusive meal when we eat here. It was to our great surprise they offered it for free today. They have earned our utmost respect and continued business. The food is awesome as well as very friendly and attentive servers.
Walked in and immediately got sat in a booth. Jordan was our waitress, and she did an amazing job, very attentive, and gave great suggestions. Both coffee and food were steaming hot and deeply satisfying. Making this a regular stop from now on.
The servers Jordan and Lindy were great! My kids and wife drinks were always full and food came out just how we ordered it. It was hot and great tasting! I highly suggest this place to everyone coming through!
We spent $30 on our food. As we walked in, we were seated immediately. The service was friendly and fast. And got what I ordered. Service: I give it an 8 out of 10 The atmosphere was quiet, pleasant, family oriented. They could probably do with a new set of benches because they were worn out. But the high chairs were clean, and I didn’t need to ask for them to be wiped again. Atmosphere/overall look: 5 out of 10 I ordered two fried eggs, Skillet potatoes, Bacon, Toast and one pancake. The fried eggs were just the way I wanted them, medium. The potatoes were very well seasoned, the bacon was crispy. The toast was buttered and the pancake was nice and fluffy, plus Buttered. And was pleasantly surprised that they had sugar-free Syrup that actually tasted amazing. My baby, who is closely turning 2. Had Two eggs scrambled with cheese and ketchup. And one pancake. He ate it up and left nothing! He absolutely loved it. Food 8 out 10 Previously(months back), I had went in the morning and the food wasn’t so great. It was bland. The toast was burnt. The pancakes tasted off. the bacon looked raw/undercooked. I decided I wasn’t gonna come back ever again. but for some reason, I decided to go again not feeling like cooking and it was close by. 🤷♀️ And I was not disappointed. I asked who cooked my food and finding out it was a guy named Joseph and Rosie. Thank you so much for the amazing food. And in the words of Keith Lee, this is just my opinion. Do support them, and God bless
We ate at this location for lunch. When we walked in we were seated pretty promptly. It took a good 8 minutes before we had a waitress come take our drink order. She was kind and pleasant. Drinks were delivered promptly and our food order taken. The food arrived pretty quickly. The food was a good temperature. I got biscuits and gravy. It was average. Not a lot of flavor but just ok. I ordered bacon.. Which was crispy and pretty good. My side of hash browns...well.. they were overcooked and hard. The waffles were ok... Kind of crisp, but ok. It was clean inside the restaurant. It's a ok place...not gonna knock your socks off...but ok.We will visit again from time to time.
My Wife Her Mom and Myself went there for dinner this evening and had a very pleasant experience. Everything was great. The Service, the Food, how clean and quiet it was. our waitress was great. she did a good job in getting our orders, getting the food out which was perfect. So yeah. I recommend them .
Ate here for lunch after church on 2/13/22. Restaurant was still brand new here and it felt like they were still working out issues. We were a large party of 7 plus a high chair and it took us an hour to be seated. They did check in with us 3 times in that hour to let us know we weren’t forgotten and where we were in the order to be seated. The food was delicious and filling. Orders were taken correctly and delivered to our table within twenty minutes. Maybe if you have a large group, avoid Sunday after church. Restaurant was clean as well as the bathrooms. Parking was ample and lot is well lit. Located on the north side of San Angelo on Hwy 87, there’s a huge gas station next door and retail shopping right across the street. Hotels are less than a mile to the south. 4 stars only because of the long wait time to be seated. We will definitely return.
Food was good. It was busy so had quite a wait to be acknowledged and be seated. Wait staff buss tables, greet, and seat customers. I asked for gravy on my hashbrowns and got less than a couple tablespoons and was charged $2.09 and was not told about the up charge. Pretty pricey for such a small amount of gravy.
Upon arrival at approximately 8:00 PM, the establishment appeared to have a low customer volume. My companion and I, therefore, decided to explore this new venue. We were greeted by a staff member, Lucy, who seated us in an area that could have benefited from more attention to cleanliness. After placing our drink orders and reviewing the menu, which appeared promising, we received our beverages and awaited our meal. However, during this period, we overheard a staff discussion concerning a coworker, which was conducted at a volume that was disruptive to the dining experience. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere. I wish Lucy better luck in her choices in life but would also know her audience better and maybe work on her attitude towards her other coworkers or find a different job if she doesn't like who she's working with.
Nice place, and clean. They made the place festive for Halloween. We had mozzarella sticks and they were mediocre. Wife had the patty melt and was really happy with it. I had the stuffed hasbrowns with ham and cheese. It wasn't too bad. The saddest part of the meal was we got pancakes which by the way are pretty big so you prolly only need one. But the pancakes were good looking and fluffy. They just had no taste. Might just be us but that's what we thought. Overall it was OK and service was alright but there was no one else so not sure how it is when they are under pressure. We will probably not be back for breakfast but might try again for dinner if we are tired of everything else in Angelo.
For starters, I was super excited for the new restraunt that opened up in town. I was honestly hoping it would be just the thing to give a bit of life to Angelo. Up until it came down to the service. Our waitress seemed like she either didn't care to work there or was extremely new and placed by herself. Normally, I don't send food back to the kitchen, however because of lack of communication from our waitress, there was items on my plate that I don't eat. Not to mention I was served a biscuit as hard as a "hockey puck" as the head man in charge put it. I also had to bother two other waitresses ( who keep in mind, we were not seated in their section ) just because our waitress didn't want to work. ( so it seemed )She was often times nowhere to be found the entire time we were visiting. She definitely showed back up when it was time for the check... The gravy was definitely delicious as well as the tea. That however is probably the best part of the whole experience. Even though there were leftovers, neither my friend nor I decided to take them with us. It just didn't seem like the food would be good heated up again. Overall, the experience failed to hit a home run for the both of us. It will be a while before choosing to return.
We had a very good and friendly waitress, Joddie. However, the food was not so good. I do not recommend the chicken stripes, mac and cheese or has browns 👎. The mac and cheese is overcooked and looks cheesy but does not taste like that. 2 of the 4 chicken strips were not edible due to being so overcooked! But the hash brown was under cooked.
Spent some time in San Angelo last week (10/16/25), and found this place. I'd like to say I had a great meal and it was money well spent, but I can't. I ordered the MVP meal, because I love bacon, but the bacon was burnt and my eggs where not cooked they way I asked for, (whoever does eggs, needs to be retrained). My waitress, Lynda, or whatever was barely around, we had another server get most of our food, and drinks. If you like to hear the employees talk trash about other employees go here. If your not into gossip, like me, stay away, because I know I will forever more. Add more to the parking lot, because it would be better suited than this place.
This honestly was super surprising to me. I recommended this place to my buddy as he had never had it before and I had years ago, but I can't go back. The lobby is very warm, but no worries as the ice-water takes care of that. The waitress we had was fine, not overly attentive or kind, but perfectly fine. However while waiting on our food, the waitress admitted to another table that she had been sick recently with an awful stomach bug. Then out of the kitchen, very loudly, a cook exclaimed that he had herpes. Then proceeded to explain what herpes was and how it is contracted. The waitress then assisted in the explanation. Strange visit, ruined appetite. Unhappy experience.
Horrible experience. The entire restaurant was completely empty with the exception of one other table that left shortly after my family's arrival. The cook used the all the salt in the restaurant on my burger. The cook under cooked the egg on my son's burger and the egg on my wife's meal. They did not cook the egg how she requested. Being the only customers in the restaurant the waitress spent more time on her phone then attending to us. The waitress only came to our table to sit us, take out order and bring our food. I had to wait for a refill my drink and she only did so when she brought our food. I had to interrupt her tiktok time, or what ever she was doing on her phone, to ask for our bill. While paying, the waitress only offered my wife a drink to go and ignored my son and I. This was the worst service I've ever had. Ill never come back to the huddle house. If anyone thinks about eating at the huddle house, run as fast as you can to another restaurant. They do not deserve anyone's business!!!!
Visited this restaurant on 6/9/23. I ordered a MVP breakfast which I soon regretted. As you can see in the picture there a burnt flakes on my " buttermilk" pancakes. Which would have been fine but the pancakes tasted burnt. I was the only customer and the lady still neglected to put syrup in my bag but that was fine because the pancakes were not eatable. They were horrible. I also had a biscuit with sausage gravy and the gravy tasted burnt also. I'd like these guys to clean the grill and issue me a refund.
