This is my first time there. The first initial couple hours were actually really fun there. I wouldn’t say the bar itself is a bad spot, but I was very roughed up (When I say roughed up, I mean, bruising from my forehead all the way down to my feet) By A huge bouncer due to the fact that one of the bartenders were upset that I went to the restroom before she did. Contexts about the situation is : me and a friend went to the bathroom before we were going to leave after waiting for five minutes in the line. One of the female bartenders came in and told us that she had seniority to the bathrooms and that she would go before us. I let her know that was not going to happen as we had been waiting and she could go after us, she immediately responded with “OK I’m going to get my Bouncers” I am not sure what was told to the bouncers, but as soon as my friend and I stepped out of the stall, there were two huge male bouncers in the females restroom, staring us down and the bartender was in front of the sink so I wasn’t able to wash my hands and she was in my friends face and mine. I ended up pushing her back and immediately the bouncers put me in the chokehold and rag dolled me out of the bathroom. Though I was being dragged out the bathroom, the bartender was throwing punches on my face as I’m being choked out by this huge bouncer. I believe that was very unnecessary as we were the ones being attacked and I’m not a big female. The bouncers there definitely do not have any knowledge of their own strength or perception of when to use it. I will never return there. I added a few pics, but it does not show all of my chest or all of my face that is swollen and bruised as well

Visited this bar for the first time this past Sunday!! Charity by far the rudest person I’ve ever encountered! I was trying to get her attention for a while because she was too busy flirting with customers and playing on her phone! When I finally got her attention, she started to go off on me saying “That I was super rude and don’t ever wave to get her attention, while I’m in her bar” First off she doesn’t carry herself as a true bartender! The owners need to get rid of her!!! She doesn’t offer good customer service and treats your paying customers like trash!! unless you’re a man that she wants to flirt with!!

We walked in at 1am and they kicked us out very rudely when they were still other customers inside, and they kicked us out past their gate. It was a very rude experience, and I would not recommend anyone to go to this bar the bartender with the Man bun and curly hair was the most rude of them all he kicked us out at 1 AM and they closing at three on their website. He followed behind us and forced us out back to our car. I would never recommend this bar at all

Very disappointed visiting from Houston cash paying customer. Then wanna be “bouncers” approach me demanding my chair that I was sitting on at the bar so that way they could set up chairs outside… Even when I’m sitting on chair at bar! Makes no since very rude and aggressive. Thats ok Im glad I’m a former news reporter for Houston and will be glad to share my bad experience on any and every social media platform including my news reports friend.s from Fox 26 news! Now I understand why this place has bad reviews

shoutout Aj and erin i know yall thought i wasn’t gonna find out y’all’s name but lucky me i got it 😝. Apparently at this bar, basic respect isn’t on the menu. Me and my fem friend used the restroom together — something we (and others) do literally all the time — but suddenly when it’s me and my masc girlfriend, the staff (Erin) decides to create a whole “inappropriate” story that accused us of doing “nasty stuff.” Which ended up getting us kicked out. And then when I went back to calmly ask for her name so I could report the situation, she switched her story and said we were “doing drugs.” Funny how the lie changes depending on the moment. When I went back to get the staff member’s name (since lying is a bold choice for customer service), the bouncer AJ decided he “couldn’t give it.” Then mid-conversation, he straight-up started ignoring me. When I called out how rude that was, he tried to hit me with, “a conversation goes back and forth.” Sir… what do you think we were just doing? I asked, you answered — that’s a conversation. Don’t get quiet when accountability enters the chat.

All the bouncers are really pathetic. They don’t even know how to talk or behave. The only good thing is that it’s in front of UTSA, and the place is nice because of the young crowd, especially on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They need to hire bouncers who actually know how to communicate, or they should train their bouncers through RAVE staff, who at least know how to speak and behave with guests. Especially their manager, he’s extremely rude and always seems to be in the mood for a fight. Really pathetic behavior. I suggest everyone not to visit this bar. At least this isn’t a place for high-value people, because they treat you like trash, although everyone working here behaves like trash themselves.

This place IS dirty. I got strep throat from taking a shot. No salt no lime for patron shots.. someone needs to fumigate this place. The restrooms were ungodly horrible. Not to mention that one of the bartenders was trying to flirt with my date.

the bartenders are incompetent, im 23 years old & they were trying to say my ID was fake because I guess it wasn’t lighting up under a blue light or something? *mind you this was after they already served me* this girl approached me after saying that was the only drink I was allowed to have because my ID was fake. The owner or manager cleared it up and assured them that my ID was real and valid. The main girl who accused me of having a fake, gave me attitude after & didn’t apologize for HER mistake. I will never go back, I closed my tab immediately and left no tip.

I never have a bad experience because I go super positive wherever I go. However, let me tell you about this place the entire time I had an amazing experience until the end. The girl kept ringing me up for double beers when I ordered one. At the end I told them that they rung up the incorrect amount. It was Sunday and they had a special for $2.50 i ordered 6 beers however was charged for more. The security decided to come in and check the receipt as if I didn’t know how to do. I was trying to explain that I ordered $31.00 worth of alcohol and there charged me $43.00 I gladly am not worried about the amount because I have money. However they made a big deal over $12.00 dollars believe that. I was trying to get the correct amount to tip the bar waitress the correct amount. However when I tried to tip there ego was acting like they didn’t make a mistake. I still tipped $5.00 and walked out with an unpleasant unprofessional experience. Please teach your bartenders how to correctly take orders and not take anything personally when they make mistakes. As well as having security calculate there receipts.
