Came in for a very late Valentine’s dinner and Joseph took wonderful care of us. From his knowledge of the menu and his attention to true guest interaction to his recommendations and the wonderful surprise they prepared for us at the end of dinner, 10 out of 10. Love this place… The food and appetizers are amazing as usual, always so fresh, every dish is definitely prepared and served with TLC! Our waiter PJ was the frosting on the cake, he made great recommendations that we loved and enjoyed. Great experience all around!

The food was absolutely amazing! They provided bread to start. Pricing was surprisingly very affordable for the quality! Our server Philip was so kind providing me with a birthday plate! I love that he bagged our food for us and even gave us Togo bread! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. We are staying at the Eilan hotel spa and the restaurant there is absolutely horrible and 2X more expensive! The wine was a bit pricey but they gave a generous amount. We will be back!

What do you get when you have a late lunch and an early dinner? Linner? Whatever it may be called, that's when my Alpha Chi Omega sisters and guests gathered together @maggianoslittleitaly today. We had a private room to ourselves. Unsweet tea was served. All the courses were served family style so we got to try everything. The first course included Crispy Mozzarella, Zucchini Fritte, and Maggiano's Salad. The second course included Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo, Mom's Lasagna, and Chicken Piccata. The desserts included were NY Cheesecake and Tiramisu. Coffee and tea were also included. While we were eating dessert, we had a gift exchange, lots of fun opening gifts, stealing, and ready to bring home our final gift.

We visited recently for birthday dinner for a good friend. Seating was nice and atmosphere was great. Our server was very knowledgeable in the menu options available as well as recommendations. My wife and I had the Chicken Parmesan and Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken. Both were very generous portions and were delicious. Table is provided with bread along with oil for dipping and was very fresh. Definitely worth the trip.

We had an issue with another family that was seated next to us making a lot of noise and the staff was quick to move us and because it was our 21st anniversary they even comped us some drinks. The manager was very apologetic and when we got our ticket he even comped our meals. The food was very delicious and our server was very friendly and helpful.

ARI, our server had a level of paying attention and reading subtleties that I have never seen before in this industry. I was a chef for almost 20 years before I left the industry after a long fight with addiction, got clean and become a therapist. I pride myself in reading between the lines but Ari gave me a run for my money! Reading the room/conversation is a skill that many people do not have, and Ari was able to notice that I had a full page blue text on my phone (iPhone message). She looked at me and was not only comfortable, but confident enough to say “that tea looks serious because it looks like someone had a lot to say!” I am not typically one to engage right away because as a therapist I’m used to listening but she read me perfectly, and I instantly engaged, and thoroughly enjoyed it! She was always there but only the second after we had a thought of needing something and then she just appeared with what we needed like she was reading our minds! Absolutely perfect meal with amazing service and Ari is a master of her craft! Give that young woman a raise or have her teach people that skill because it takes service to another level!

Maggiano’s has always been a top favorite but this was my first time visiting the San Antonio location. Kurt and Will were amazing servers, had perfect recommendations and they worked with Chef Sous Ray to make my favorite Alfredo, chicken and asparagus combo. I have been battling bad morning sickness and this was the first meal that I craved that was prepared beyond my expectations. So fresh, so flavorful, SO GOOD! It honestly makes me emotional, I haven’t been able to eat in 4 days but today I’m so stuffed and happy. Thank you!

We had our wedding & reception here two weeks ago and everything turned out to be all we wanted. From the moment I reached out through email, the whole team kept with communication. They were super helpful when scheduling our tasting, day of and everything in between. Genesis went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted, although she wasn’t there day of-Spencer was also very welcoming and continued to make sure we were satisfied throughout the night. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing a banquet or venue space. The outdoor terrace was small and beautiful and the indoor updates make for a perfect space to add your own decor. This trip to Little Italy was awesome! We've been to the location in North Austin, bit this was our first trip to the SA location. The comfortable dining room was perfect for our little 4 piece family. The food was the best we've had from Maggiano’s. I ordered the chicken parmeson, it was huge and delicious. Surprisingly moist for a Breaded Chicken. My husband got the Wagu spaghetti and meatballs. He said they weren't as airy as he usually likes but it was still very good. The staff were very friendly. We had reservations for our anniversary and the hostess acknowledged it on the way in and also on our way out. Our waiter was very chill but professional and helpful. The food was amazing, so much flavor and fresh, made to order. I ate too much! We took home a lot of it and had it again the next day and it reheated perfectly.

My husband and I went here on a date night to celebrate the birth our upcoming baby boy. Mari was our server, and she was such a pleasure and went above and beyond! The customer service was A+, this is how hospitality is done. Not only was the service outstanding, but the food was immaculate and well presented. We highly recommend the Maggiano’s location at the Rim Shopping Center in San Antonio, Texas; and we will be returning for future celebrations and dinning experiences.

Perfect like always. We had the luck of having a bartender as our waiter which means that you have a guaranteed person with personality! The food was astounding. Always more than you expected when you ordered it. I don't think I've ever left this place without leftovers.

It's been years since I've been so naturally I jumped at the opportunity to go with a friend visiting from out of town. I'm glad I made reservations as this place is packed on a Friday night. Sat at the bar and enjoyed an amazing Cab named Oberon. Apparently, Maggiano's has paired with a sommelier to up their wine game.....A++. This wine was great. The food was phenomenal! I would have like a touch more sauce on my fettuccine, but I'm just nitpicking. Check it out. Two thumbs up 👍🏾👍🏾!

This was an amazing place for a cozy date with my husband. Our waiter, Dre, went above and beyond for us to find a wine I liked, was very attentive to our needs and refills. Food was amazing! Calamari was the first I have EVER gotten that was not chewy. Wagyu stuffed shells were a hit for my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Alfredo. We will definitely be returning.

We have loved this Maggiano’s for many years and we are never disappointed here! Tonight we had a reservation for 6:30 and were taken to our table right when we checked in. When our waiter, Benjamin, asked if we were celebrating anything, my sister mentioned that I recently got a new job. To our surprise, he brought out a dessert with “Congrats on the new job!” written in chocolate sauce! He was very kind, attentive, and upbeat! The food was amazing as always. We had the rigatoni vodka and the Rigatoni D (my favorite)! 5 stars all around.

We just left our mother's day late lunch/early dinner and we were very impressed with the service provided to us by Alejandro. First off, he wasn't even our waiter. We had been seated for about 15 mins without anyone coming to greet us or take our drinks when I finally stopped the first server I saw to ask if they knew who our waiter was. It happened to be Alejandro who ended up taking care of us despite the fact that we weren't anywhere near his section. He went above and beyond to ensure that even though we had a rocky start, the rest of our experience would be great. He was very attentive and friendly. And I want to reiterate that we weren't even in his section! Thank you Alejandro for making our mother's day dinner excellent!

Talk about a great experience! For starters the attentiveness and the friendliness. The service is truly second to none. The show stopper was their food. Quality at its finest! Party of 12 arrived at 6:30 pm on 10-22-2025 for a Birthday Celebration for my wife. Children and Grandchildren ordered a variety of food. Let me say first that the Hostess was the absolute nicest and most friendly young lady. Great smile! She made us feel very WELCOME! This place was as beautiful as some of the restaurants we visited in Italy on May 2024! Very Nice! We were seated promptly and our orders were taken. Bread and Olive oil dip with seasoning were served with our variety beverages. Our Waiter (Never got his name) was also SUPERB! I noticed that everyone worked together as a Team. Never did I see any frowns but plenty of smiles and efficiency at its best! I ordered the Lasagna and there was enough there to take home. My meal was not as Spicy but rather bland in flavor. My Lasagna was slightly warm and not Hot! Hmm! The Cheese on top was melted well and the internal temperature of the meal was warm at best! I did NOT send it back as I normally would lest I spoil my Wife’s Birthday Celebration. I didn’t ask anyone else about their meal but everyone ate heartedly! This was the only “Hiccup” I encountered as everything else was first class! Highly recommend! Christmas holiday, super busy. Wait time was longer than said, and we didn't receive our meal until an hour of being there. It took that long to take the order. I think they did try, so I'm gonna give them 5 stars. During COVID, my daughter and I used to order from them all the time and never had any problems. This is the first time we stepped foot in the restaurant, and we enjoyed ourselves. This may be irrelevant for many, but I was impressed that the waitresses were not wearing skin-tight pants. Many so-called fancy restaurants that I go to, the waitresses are dressed like as if they were at a club; it's is tacky. The food was great and a huge amount.

Listen..I had the BEST steak I’ve ever had in my life. I didn’t even mind spending $45 dollars on it! (this is extremely expensive for me and was only done for a special occasion) I ate EVERYTHING on my plate and still craved more (even after dessert) I will say I ordered a $15 drink and it seemed like it barely had any alcohol at all, our waitress also did not ID which made me wonder if maybe no alcohol was used Place was a little crowded but we were still able to have our own private seats that felt away from the crowd. However the floor plan was very open so most of the restaurant was within clear view. Overall everything was absolutely amazing and I would go again for any special occasion and will keep salivating over my memories of this lunch for months

Easter Sunday lunch. We had a party of 8 adults and 4 children. Everyone was happy with their food orders. I had lasagna it was very good BUT, it seemed a very small piece. Especially for the price. It was about 3-4" W X 3- 4" H X 1 -1/2" D. Surprisingly thin in depth. Plenty of good sauce on it. All of the children had spaghetti w/ a huge meatball they all loved it! I can't remember what the other Adult plates were. They all seemed to be very pleased with their plates. I'll try to post some pictures. Our server was wonderful. Over all I would recommend Maggianos. But I'll have to pass next time on the lasagna.

My family and I have come to Maggiano’s twice now, and both times Stephanie has taken incredible care of us. She’s attentive, friendly, and genuinely makes the whole experience better from the moment you sit down. Great service can really make a restaurant stand out, and Stephanie absolutely does that. She made sure everything was perfect, was quick to help with anything we needed, and made us feel really welcome. We’ll definitely be coming back, and we’ll be asking for Stephanie on our next visit. My husband and I truly enjoy dining at Maggiano's at The Rim in San Antonio! If you're passing through San Antonio and looking for exceptional Italian food paired with wonderful service, this is the place to go. On this visit, we sat at the bar where Charlie was incredibly helpful and provided delightful conversation. He expertly multitasked while still making us feel well taken care of. We also had the pleasure of meeting the manager, Edward. He struck up a conversation with my husband about Italian-style spicy flavors and went out of his way to ensure those flavors were incorporated into the Pasta Lobster Carbonara -much appreciated! As someone who is gluten intolerant, I highly recommend The Finest Fusilli Alfredo with Grilled Chicken. The portions are very generous, so sharing is easy, or you can ask the kitchen to split the meal and package part of it to go. A consistently enjoyable experience with great food, friendly staff, and excellent service.

My fiancée and I visited Maggiano’s at the Rim in San Antonio around 2:30–3:00 PM on a Friday, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our server, Charlie, provided excellent service with great manners and attentiveness, making us feel well taken care of. We started with the stuffed mushrooms and crab cakes—both bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The mushrooms were rich and savory, while the crab cakes were crisp on the outside with a tender, flavorful inside. For entrées, I had the blackened salmon, perfectly seasoned and complemented by its sauce, and my fiancée enjoyed the chicken parmesan sandwich, which was hearty and delicious. The atmosphere was calm, the music set the perfect tone, and overall it was a fantastic dining experience. Thanks Charlie.

I photographed a wedding at Maggianos last weekend and it was beautiful! There were a little over 100 guests but they didn’t quite fit in the courtyard for the ceremony. The courtyard looks like it would fit around 50 guests max. The courtyard (pictured) is stunning and the hall is stunning as well. Food was superb. I recommend them for dining in, catering and events. I gave 4/5 stars because although the location is beautiful, the servers who served the wedding vendors were rude and off put by having to serve us. As vendors we don’t sit and eat in the same place as the guests. This made them have to walk out to the patio to bring our food and they made it visibly known that they were unhappy about this. Their service to the couple and guests was great.

Overall a nice experience, though it is pricey for what you get compared to other excellent Italian style restaurants we usually go to. Party of 3 on a Thursday evening. No wait to be seated. Server took several more minutes than usual to get to us. Time from order to food was acceptable (24 minutes). Had to flag down server for drink refills the first time....after that, no issues. Food taste was fine, but for the price they charge, I was expecting something more special/unique.

maggianos definitely felt like a little piece of italy. the restaurant did look a little understaffed and it makes sense since we did decide to eat the day after new years. the wait time was an hour plus which definitely made the experience uncomfortable like. nonetheless besides the wait time the food was delicious. my table ordered different items off the menu but i had a chance to try each individual item. i personally loved it. my rating is 7/10

The temperature of the restaurant was way too cold and really brought down the overall experience. I also found the chair I was sitting in uncomfortable. The booths looked very inviting and much more comfortable but I was with a large party so we were at a table. I liked the aesthetic and ambiance of the restaurant. I thought the food was good but it seemed overpriced for what it was especially compared to other similar restaurants. Pasta at $27 without meat seems a bit high. I had the blackened salmon with shrimp. It was good but it only had a few leaves of spinach (more like a garnish instead of a side) which I think could have completed the dish better with more. I appreciated being able to swap out the side of mashed potatoes with pasta instead. My entree cost $31.00. It took a very long time for our order to be taken.

The food was plentiful and portions generous and our server was on point. I recommend the fried zucchini. We had a mushroom ravioli,regular ravioli, shrimp fettuccine and chicken fettuccine. The chicken looked a bit an afterthought. Good "chain" food. For sure left stuffed.

It had been a long time since I went to this restaurant, but a friend wanted to do her birthday lunch here. It was almost worth the traffic headache of 1604 that I endured to get to it. The bread appetizer that comes to the table was severely delicious. I could not remember what I liked as it had been so long since my last visit. I ordered the Chicken Marsala and it was OK. (I think I used to order something different) Our server was attentive and easygoing and the atmosphere was a nice as always. They still had the takeout deal if you order a main dish, so I made sure to take advantage of it.

This has been a regular place for me and one of my besties. At one point the service was a bit off but on my friend’s bday the place redeemed itself! We had the usual seafood pasta. We ordered two each dish to take out for $6? (Special deal when you order a main dish)! They rearranged and added modern touch to the place. I e always liked their ambience!

The bruschetta topping was good, but the ricotta was unexpected. I prefer a classic bruschetta without ricotta. The mushroom ravioli was delicious, just wish it came out hotter. The real star of the evening was our server, Stephanie. She was so attentive, great service, lovely voice. She made sure everything came out on time and correctly. My mother's steak was undercooked (she eats it will done and I don't approve) and Stephanie tried to make sure it was cooked correctly and then went to the manager when it still wasn't. She was honestly the best sever I've had in a while and hope to be seated in her section again.

Great dinner experience! Our waiter was very helpful and quick to get us everything. The family style menu options is a great way to try the menu, and share lots of food for more than 4 people. The price is very reasonable, and the food is well worth the price. The mussels and calamari where great! The saladas were very tasty and well seasoned. The best entree was rhe cod, very rich in flavor and the pasta served al dente! The dessert's were good and plenty for everyone to try more than one piece.

This was my first time here. The food was good but lacked that gourmet quality. It was more of a quality chain restaurant feel. The trade off was that the price was low enough for a casual date type event. Service was very fast for the quantity of people and everyone was friendly and professional.

Went here on thanksgiving this year the food was good and I love how they serve it family style meaning you pick a few options and they bring you big plates of it to pass around the table to everyone the only thing that was kind of annoying was the fire alarm going off every few mins for some reason hopefully it’s a issue they can fix at first it was only every hour but towards the end it was like every 10 mins it seems the wait staff was awesome it was about 51$ per person on thanksgiving not including drinks! But hey not having thanksgiving dishes and a mess to clean up is PRICELESS!

We arrived a little after noon, a few people, but not very busy. One thing I liked right away was the person taking our info asked if we were celebrating anything. Very nice touch and we were. Love the atmosphere and since it wasn’t crowded even better, not so noisy. I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo w/shrimp and husband, ordered spaghetti w/meatball and meat-sauce. Huge portions and food was very HOT, which I appreciate.The Fettuccine Alfredo, really had a lack of seasoning and the shrimp, while nice and big had zero flavor. I am used to garlic in FA and if it had garlic I couldn’t taste it It was ok, but I wouldn’t get it again. NOW, my husband was saying how good his was and so I tasted it and WOW, seriously the BEST meat sauce I’ve had at a restaurant since I lived in Italy. I was jealous and wished I’d ordered that. Usually my experience with red sauces are zero flavor, the flavor in this was out of the world good. I will be ordering that the next time. Of course the bread is always good. Our server was very nice and checked on us often. For my birthday a beautiful desert and so tasty. A nice enjoyable lunch. We live out of town, so don’t go often, but now I want to try the spaghetti and will be back. I really would like to order off the children's menu, as the portions are so large. We both brought a whole container each home.

He really enjoyed his meal where I felt mine lacked flavor or maybe lacked Alfredo sauce. Our meal was served with complimentary bread and seasoned olive oil. The service was friendly, but we did have to search for our server and flag her down a few times. Since this was my first time here, and reviews have been positive, I will definitely come back and maybe try another dish.

The front desk staff who took us to the table was very polite and friendly. The server needed some training as it constantly keeps coming to our table to ask “do you need anything”. It likes he is on mission to make more sales for Owner or wants us to finish the meal and get out. He was however very respectful in his constant sales pitch. The ambiance was great however it was crowded and very noisy. Everyone was talking and it turns into noisy stadium. The food was delicious. The “free” bread was limited (not sure why they don’t give more bread). The pasta was tasty and sauce was also in perfect mix. This is pricey Italian joint but food is worth that dime.

Had the fettuccine Alfredo which was not too bad but nothing special. I hadn't been to Maggianos in a while and was shocked at how expensive then lunch menu was. 26$ for a bowl of pasta and a small piece of chicken. No side salad no drink. I won't be back here in a while. There are so many other better options.

It seems everyone wants to change a good thing just to make more money. Maggianos used to be friendly great family italian restaurant. The food is still great however everything has changed. Prices of course have gone up for the same amount of food. Service was ok but a restaurant with very few people, service could have been alot better. Some of our favorites plates were missing. No candles on tables. Very disappointing. It will be a while before I will go back.

I’m a big foodie, and I was so ready to be wowed by Maggiano’s. Instead, I left wondering if I accidentally ordered from the kids’ menu. Everyone hypes this place up like it’s the Italian holy grail, but honestly? I think Olive Garden had more flavor. I think that says a lot 🤓 Maggiano’s wasn’t terrible, but for those prices, I expected to hear angels singing while I ate. Nope. Just the sound of my wallet crying😢 I’m not cheap. I'll gladly pay top dollar for good food BUT it better knock my taste buds out. This one didn’t even nudge them. Just my opinion. Not great. Just okay. But hey, the decor was nice 🫩

"THE GRAND" CHICKEN PARMESAN was lacking. The chicken was fried to a dark brown and tasted like old oil was used. The rigatoni marinara was just bland. The stuffing in the mushrooms fell apart instead of staying clamped together. FETTUCCINE BOLOGNESE was really good although it seemed closer to a vodka than a ragù maybe because it was cooked with a cream or wisked. The star of the meal was the complimentary bread with salt served with butter.

I have been coming here since I was a child and as soon as we walked in and they served us bread It looked like the bread from Texas roadhouse with the cinnamon butter. That’s when I knew. It was all down hill I had asked the waiter several times what did y’all do different? What’s new on the menu what had changed he barely had any answers for me. He looked confused. My favorite dish. Is there mozzarella sticks and now they serve them like triple dippers from Chili’s if you google, they’re trying to be like a Chili’s basically I will never go back again. It’s not giving homemade warm Italian vibes like it used to. They went corporate like Chili’s.

Service was amazing! My wife and I have been frequent flyers for many years now, especially around the holidays. However, we were sad to see the Spinach Artichoke Dip was removed again. They had it last year around Christmas and we always ordered it many years prior. I agree with another customer on here who said it seems they are lowering the quality of food items for the sake of saving money. The new Cesar dressing was horrid, and the salad tasted like it was blended with water and a little bit of grey unappetizing dressing, couldn't even find the parm they use to fill it with. They removed angel hair pasta, favorite appetizers, and certain Entrees. It's just all around different now, it use to feel cozy and warm, now it feels cold and tasteless. the atmosphere has changed so much, and the food quality is definitely down. I understand new ownership, but to change soooo many things.... I'm just not sure what will keep us going back :/

Very bad experience ordering over $400 worth of food for my son’s grad party. I will never rely on placing an order like this again. The spaghetti with wagyu was awful. Alfredo was good. 1.5 trays of each. Late in processing my order so not sure if they rushed making it or not. Thank goodness we had other food to feed our guests. College kids didn’t even go beyond small tray We have been patrons for over a decade so giving 2 stars but honestly should give 1 for this particular experience. Very disappointed. Just been busy with everything and finally have a chance to post.

Have been to Maggianos a bunch of times over the last ten years and it seems like it’s declining. We went for lunch today and ordered 2 apps and 2 individual salads. I had no idea the bread had been changed and was thrown off by it. What would be the reason to change the bread? I was already seeing the change in even just the seasoning they would put in the oil and was hating that change. The bread doesn’t taste great. It’s a little sweet with salty flakes and remind me of a pretzel. The flavor on our apps were less than with everything needing salt/ less lemon. We gotten through half of each our apps and seemed to wait a super long time for our salads to get to our table. By the time it arrived, we were already over it and ready to leave so we ended up just packaging it to go. Service was so so and I never got a refill on my soda. It wasn’t all that super busy and was closer to noon. Overall, paying almost $100 bucks for 2 apps and 2 salads for subpar food/ service is not worth it. Highly unlikely that we will go back anytime soon.

We went here for Valentine's Day. It was our first time here. My husband ordered the filet mignon and when it came. The steak that was on the plate definitely wasn't a filet mignon. The place is beautiful the food is NOT the same very salty. I guess it’s new management. Also if you by a gift card it takes 4 hours to activate 😅 Our waitress was amazing and so so so sweet nothing to do with her.

First and foremost, the food was incredible! However, I placed an order for a 5:30 p.m. Christmas celebration dinner for 24 church youth leaders, which cost over $750. I had placed the order five days in advance and had confirmed the pick-up time of 4:30 p.m. the day before. The restaurant was located 45 minutes away from my location. I arrived at the restaurant at 4:30 p.m. and was informed by the server that they were only just boxing up the bread and that the total wait would be only five minutes. However, after waiting for 50 minutes, I still did not receive any food. Finally, at 5:20 p.m., I received the food, but it was missing the salad and dessert. The salad arrived 20 minutes later at 5:40 p.m., but the dessert was still not ready. This situation put me in danger of missing my entire event due to the long drive. To make matters worse, when I got home, I discovered that the pasta with my chicken piccata, which had been advertised as spaghetti, was missing. Consequently, I missed half of the event, and the youth leaders went without food for almost the entire event.

Service is always good. This was our “go to” place. They are changing the menu and ingredients. Seems like the quality is dropping for cost savings. The new bread was like a cheap yeast roll from a chicken tender place. The lasagna has changed… not sure what it is but it is not the same. Cheese stick appetizer cheese was very loose, almost watery. It had a plastic feel. My kid ordered the chicken Alfredo and the sauce was like discolored water at the bottom of the bowl. My wife ordered the salad with salmon. It was good but noticeably smaller. The meal totaled $238. With the drop in quality, I would go to Olive Garden. At least you get what you expect for less.

The service here is always amazing. Maggianos used to be my favorite restaurant. However, they have a new CEO because everything changed. The new bread is atrocious. It tastes like a roll from Bush’s Chicken with a bunch of salt on it. The butter is like margarine you get at walmart. We got chicken alfredo and we received the tiniest portion of chicken. This is not our first time ordering it, we used to get a normal amount of chicken before all these changes happened. The alfredo tasted like I reheated it in the microwave. The food this visit was so disappointing. They’re cutting corners under new management and it shows through the food. I’m letting everyone know Maggianos has changed for the worse and to not waste your money here.

This review comes after having multiple celebrations at this restaurant including 3 baby showers and one bridal dinner. I called about a week in advance to reserve for a party of 4 for Mother's Day dinner. I was not informed that there will be a set menu that gives you only particular options for appetizers and entrees. I got the reservation for 7:30 pm, we showed up at 7:38 pm and had to wait for about 30 min to be seated even though there were multiple tables available. Not once have we been offered a glass of water. We got seated, had a pleasant server PJ, he had nice and friendly energy however the service lacked. We got seated around 8:10 pm. We received the "opening" act plate and one Caesar salad from the appetizers. It was around 9:10 when the server stopped to check on us and we asked about the rest of the appetizers. It was 1 hour later and still no appetizers. He apologized and mentioned that the kitchen was a bit backed up but should be coming soon. We asked again for lemons (asking twice prior to that) and another Caesar salad since the other appetizers are still taking a while. Never received the Caesar salad that was promised. We got the rest of the appetizers at 9:15 and our food 5 minutes later. The timing was bad, we mentioned it to the food runner we barely got our appetizers and he seemed a bit surprised asking if we would like the entrees to be taken back to the kitchen. My sister's salmon unfortunately was not tender at all, she had to return 1st made plate and the remake, and ask for another dish. My lobster carbonara was a bit disappointing, lots of noodles, some bacon and 3 pieces of lobster propped on top. Our drinks were delicious and brought in a timely manner, minus the waters that did not get refilled until we got our deserts and because we asked for more water. Probably the worst experience . Went for a work function and the place had horrible service and the food was not as great as I would expect. Def could have cooked it better at home. The room they put us in was hot and we had to go back and forth with the place about what we were allowed to order and not. If you have a big party , don’t go here . Either they were not prepared or chose to not properly tend to us because they thought our host had no money? Whatever it was I did not feel welcomed at this establishment. It took almost 3 hours to finish a 3 course menu . The pasta was watery, steak bits chewy and over cooked, the best thing I ate was their meatballs which they took cuz they said we couldn’t take leftovers home. They all go to the host? Honey I doubt he wanted our leftovers . Which he didn’t . Never will go to this place again . I had suggested it to the team cuz I went one prior time with a dr I worked for and service was exceptional then. But the difference I saw was this crew is more colorful than the last one I worked for . Could race play a part? When I discussed this with other people. They said Maggiano’s is racist and probably didn’t serve us that great cuz our host was black . Which is how it looks since my previous employer was white . We will stick to the Brazilian steak house for our department functions .

My husband and I used to come to Maggiano’s on occasion and genuinely loved it, which is why this visit was especially disappointing. Unfortunately, the flavor and overall quality of the dishes were not what we’ve experienced in the past. The fettuccine Alfredo was overly soft, watery and oily, and also bland in flavor. The chicken lacked seasoning and didn’t add much to the dish. Even the bread service seemed different—previously it was served with olive oil, salt, pepper, and balsamic, which we really enjoyed, but that was no longer the case. My husband's linguine and clam was off too. The sauce tasted like pure clam water instead of a seasoned, well prepared sauce for flavor. The only thing they got right was the pasta. Maggiano's has changed and not in a good way. Our server was exceptional and that was pretty much the only upside. Also beware when paying. Our bill was originally about $75 and when we applied the 20% tip the total came out to $95. The calculations are incorrect. So, make sure everything is mathematically coming out as accurate as possible if you're that kind of person to trust but also verify.

Just left Maggianos in San Antonio and hadn’t been here in about 8 months. Pretty much everything has changed from the table tops, to using a battery powered table light instead of candles. The food has changed. My fettuccine Alfredo didn’t taste like Alfredo at all; pretty much butter and seasoning and was really runny. The kids mac n cheese had a funky taste to it. And they don’t use the same bread and oil any more. This place has lost its appeal and lost the value of the atmosphere. It’s pretty much turned into an “upscale” Cheesecake Factory. Not sure where they pulled the “chef” from but they should send him back.

Used to be our absolute favorite restaurant for special occasions but it must be under new management because it’s been absolutely awful recently. They removed multiple of our favorite dishes from the menu, they changed out their classic Italian bread for some Texas Roadhouse type crap (I love roadhouse rolls but grow up this is supposed to be fine dining), no more olive oil for bread, no more parm for pastas, the dishes that are left are significantly decreased in quality (they all taste very cheap now) and on top of that they all cost MORE than they used to. The ambiance and service are still great but it is in no way worth the price anymore. Sad to say we will no longer be going.

Our server arrived promptly and took our drink orders, and poured the obligatory olive oil onto a plate for dipping the bread. No seasoning added to the olive oil, and we waited a while for the drinks (lemonade and Diet Coke )and bread to arrive, even longer for my wife’s peach Bellini. My Diet Coke was given a straw, my daughters lemonade was not. The salads arrived along with our order of fried mozzarella, which was once a highlight of Maggianos. The mozzarella, all 3 pieces, were 3 different colors, obviously not all cooked the same. The Maggiano salad, underwhelming. Gone is the flavorful burst in your mouth, now it’s just average or even slightly below. Now the wait for the main course. Not a short weight. Somewhere in the area of over 45 minutes approaching one hour. This was on a Monday, so it was busy, but not slammed. My order of the Beef Medallions was decent, but not great. My wife’s order of the chicken parmigiana was not good at all, and was very different than my daughters, who had ordered the exact same dish. We waited for our server to return in hopes of having it remade, but she didn’t return until well after we were finished. I asked another staff member to summon a manager. The manager arrived and apologized, letting us know they were having a supplier issue and offered to remake the dish or provide an alternative. We declined, and the manager removed the item from our check. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I would recommend going elsewhere, which is a shame, because Maggianos was once a great place.

I’ve been here a few times, and decided that the food at Maggiano’s was good enough to warrant eating out at (I cook a lot at home and obvs that usually tastes better than eating out). Taking a break from cooking and letting Maggiano’s make dinner tonight sounded like a great idea, so I ordered some food for me and a friend. I immediately noticed they changed their chicken that they use for the Chicken Alfredo, now dubbed “World’s Best”. The chicken was very bland. The Alfredo sauce was different in both taste and texture, it was extremely watery and bland. That’s not to say the Alfredo was GREAT, beforehand, but it was decent enough to be palatable and for you not to feel like “I wasted my money, I should have just cooked at home.” This Alfredo was disgusting. The bread tasted like sweet Hawaiian rolls, and my Caesar salad was not very good either. Tastes much better homemade, (it’s supposed to be “house made” isn’t it?), theirs tasted like poop, which is surprising because it never used to taste like that. :( If I had sat down to eat in person, which we decided against last minute because the carpet and the noise level in Maggiano’s is awful, I would have just asked for a refund after the first bite and left lol. I won’t be coming back, which sucks, but at least it’ll save me some money. They also stuffed a LOT of noodles into the containers, which left the top of the noodles very dry and inedible, so we had to dig to the bottom to get noodles with sauce. The chocolate cake is also very mid. All of this reads “Sysco Foods” to me. Fire whoever made these changes. Also, most of the salt in an Alfredo comes from the Parmesan. Are y’all using the fake cellulose Parmesan, or what? Disgusting.

This was doordashed but yea I ordered the shell with wagyu beef. Look to be honest it tatsed delicious until i LITERALLY BIT INTO A STAPLE. Like an actual staple you staple sheets with. It wasnt something that fell in either. It was inside the shell and i thought i bit a bone or something. I wish i could give a good review cause it was tasty but i cant justify it after that.
