Glad I decided to make a random stop at this little shop for lunch. The owner, Eli, is so hospitable, and the food is made with love. I had a hot, fresh-out-of-the-oven meatball sub that did not disappoint! I can't wait to come back again to pick up a pizza. Update: Had a chance to try the pizza today (7/19/2022), and it was so good. My husband and I love the crust - good clean taste, nice chew on it. Generous toppings. Hubby ate half the pie himself. Also got to meet the other owner today, Maria. Wonderful folks 🥰

These incredibly sweet folks sliced up some cheese and so warmly shared it with us! I felt like I was at my Italian aunt’s home and she was preparing her best meal for us! But wait, just when we thought they couldn’t be any nicer- we were treated to waters while we waited for our food and just the most genuine welcoming vibes and smiles! I, HIGHLY, recommend this local hidden gem! If you are looking to support our local businesses this is definitely one to add to your regular schedule of takeout! The food won’t disappoint and you’ll feel so welcomed as soon as you arrive! The subs are out of this world! The calzones are stuffed- like me the day I thought I could be a size 0 and nearly passed out! The dough! Oh my word! The dough on the pizza! Sweet Baby Jesus! I was glad my mama wasn’t around so I wouldn’t be tempted to slap her! That’s all will say about the pizza because I don’t want to drool anymore… But don’t take my word! Experience this gem for yourself!

Looking for great pizza, made by very friendly people? Look no further! Not only was the pizza mouthwatering upon first glance, but it was delicious 🤤 I literally annihilated one of their large pepperoni pizzas in less than 10 minutes. It was so good, and I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

I tried the pizza for the first time and was greeted by the owners who were making the pizza from scratch. I felt like I was taken back to a time when restaurant owners took pride in their work and developed individual relationships with their customers.

It took 45 minutes to get my pizza but it was well worth it. Pack your patience and prepare for fresh food from friendly owner. They even gave out sodas to those of us waiting... So awesome!

Eli and Maria were delightful. We were in the area and decided to give them a try. Absolutely delicious. I forgot to take a picture of the entire pie because I couldn’t wait to eat it. Super friendly and so good. I’m not usually a crust eater but I ate everything. Definitely recommend!

Thinly slice crispy crust with a crunch. The cheese is good and the sauce is good. The pizza is definitely different in taste. Small establishment but definitely worth a shot.

Pizza was okay but not great. Reasonable toppings and sauce but the dough, like most in SA lacked flavor and appropriate texture. The deli sandwich was bliss. The real winner is the kind and hospitable people that own and operate Maria's Pizza. They are primarily a take out establishment.

They were incredibly kind and helpful, and the pizza was amazing. They make great homemade crust and the over all taste of everything was great. I was looking for a new local pizza spot and I’m glad I tried Maria’s.

How did I just find this place? Wow! Such amazing pizza. The owners are a humble and proud brother and sister who have been in business 30 years. They made my family feel like their family when we stopped by to pick up a pizza. Maria and I spoke about the challenges of the restaurant business, and we both became emotional because of how hard the business can be physically and mentally. Please give this location a try and help support your local small business! Highly recommended!

This guy still understands customer service! I haven’t been greeted in such a friendly and welcoming manner at another restaurant in years. He really made me feel at home. My calzone was terrific! I’ll certainly be back next time I’m in the area.

Had family over and wanted homemade pizza. Found this on Google search and because of reviews decided to try it. Drove 15miles which made us cross our fingers. When we got there the place was small but cozy and homey. We ordered an Xlarge pizza and calzone. When we received our order in took less than 15minutes we were not all all disappointed. Awesome pizza awesome calzonw and the owners frequently came over to ask how we were, how was the food and if there was anything else we needed If your looking for a great tasting on the spot freshly made pizza or calzone you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend

The only drawback was that you can't enjoy it there when it's nice and hot, and the restaurant is crowded and kind of sad. It made me want to help them fix it up and make it presentable.

We ordered a large supreme pizza and meatball sub, which was $37. The crust and toppings are not very flavorful. The italian sausage tasted off, but the sauce and cheese tasted good. The meatball sub was comforting, nothing to complain about there.
