Surprisingly great quality and price. One of the few Mexican restaurants that don't skimp on the quantity; the breakfast tacos we had were more than full and we couldn't even finish 2.

Our new go to! I recommend the bean & cheese nachos with the beef fajitas! Every time my husband comes home with them & opens the box they come in the steam comes out & they’re very fresh & hot still! Also the barbacoa super delicious!! Love how they stuff the tacos too!

Birria is very flavorful and light! Menudo is just so tasty and fresh! Not thick broth, and the tripe is cleaned well!

Visiting from Austin we were looking for good enchiladas And we very satisfied! Portions of plates were plenty. 2 plates of Enchiladas and another Gordita plate all very delious! Plus side is that restrooms are clean I think they even have drive thru around the back.

We order here almost every weekend ! We love it , they’re super fast on getting food out. As well as the staff so kind & attentive. Food10/10 taste like its straight outta grandmas kitchen.

Food is always great here. The only thing I don't like about this place is the prices in the DT are not updated and they don't tell you when you order. It says breakfast tacos 1.79 but a lot of them are 1.99. It doesn't look a lot but if you come frequent and you buy 20 to 30acos for friends and family or co workersyou can feel the difference.

Loved this place! It’s a peaceful Place to come eat Mexican food, there was no yellow cheese in sight which was a good sign! I got some red chilaquiles and they served it with some friend beans with chorizo and potatoes 🥔 The server was really nice and attentive! I noticed they have buche! I’ve been having such a hard time finding restaurants that service buche since I moved to San Antonio, I didn’t try the buche this time but happy to see it on the menu.

Ordered cheese enchiladas with carne guisada gravy and a over easy egg on top. Let me just say man oh man! They’re delicious! First time here and might be back daily during my lunch to eat. Staff was great. Store was clean. I will return

Great food. The waitress doesn’t speak English well but she’s always so sweet so please be patient and enjoy the food. It’s delicious and always served super hot and fresh. You can’t go wrong with any of the food, it’s all great.

This is a small operation that works hard for your business. It was clean. The service was quick. Lunch specials were very reasonably priced. And I was impressed with their warm corn tortillas (they seemed very fresh). Not high end dinning but definitely worth stopping by.

This is a good little Mexican restaurant. The food has always came out fresh and hot. We normally stop here for breakfast and get breakfast tacos. The tortillas are homemade. The tacos are packed too! They have breakfast taco specials during the week. I've also had the tortas and those are great also. I have yet to try the plates but I'm sure those are great also. This restaurant took over the spot where Bahama Bucks used to be. The staff is very friendly here. They do have a drive-thru also. It does get busy here and the parking lot is small but it's not the restaurant's fault. Don't forget to try the green salsa!!!!

The carne guisada was moist and came apart with each bite. Wow, flavorful, best I have had in a very long time. Extremely generous serving in one taco. Filled me up. I hesitate to give it 5 stars only because, I've only tried 1 item from the menu.

Overall very good. Needed more seasoning on the salsa, with chips. Lengua was absolutely tender and delicious. Waitress was cold but efficient. We did not have to call on her for anything. She checked on us frequently but not too much.

This is actually my dad's favorite place for breakfast. So once in awhile he'll offer to take me with him and my stepmother to eat. I really like the tacos and the menudo is not too bad. And the wait staff the girls were really great.

We’ve been going here regularly for breakfast or lunch on Sundays for a couple of years. The food is always good. From the breakfast tacos to the nachos. Unfortunately the service has fallen off significantly in the last few weeks with all new waitstaff. Hopefully it improves soon - we will give it a few more tries.

The food was good but I was a bit turned off at first because no one greeted us so we seated ourselves and it took a good 10 min before we were acknowledged. However , once the waitress came by and took our order then everything was good. I give it 2 stars for service.

A sad day. This will be our last meal here. This was my go to taqueria since it opened. We come here about 3 times a week. However I've seen the prices continually increase over the past couple years here. I understand inflation and some increase but I also know greed when I see it. 6.99 for a breaktfast plate. I can bring my own eggs. When it increased to 5.99 a while back I was like if it goes up again I'm gone. I recommend going to fajita express off culebra. Great food and great lunch specials daily and it comes with a drink, $7.99 with a drink and chips. They got my business now. Save your money and go there.

Beyond horrible, never received half of the order and the young lady at the counter still charged me for everything. The Tripas we really greasy! Meundo had good flavor but it was all soup no meat or hominy. I would not recommend anyone to spend their hard working money here.

I had a waitress by the name of Lucy and her service was terrible took too long to bring out my order and she had a bad attitude overall i will not be going back..

Although this was once a favorite place for us. We stopped going due to the quality. We kept getting cold food. Sometimes still frozen in the center. We stopped going for a long time. I am sad to say that it has not improved. It's even gotten worse because of the small quantities they give now. The quality is still not great. This has easily become our favorite place to go. Went through the drive thru and ordered only 3 items not large items just 3 simple items, waited at the window almost 30 min, 2 cars behind me and I had to drive up because the waitress never came back to window, when I got off after ordering through drive thru I went inside and it looked like it was only her and the cook working so not only was she working in the window She was also working as a waitress inside with at least five or six tables if you guys want to have service hire more waitresses y’all close at nine that’s a long time to just have one waitress for both. Drive thru and inside won’t come back here again or at least at this hour. I was upset but it wasn’t her fault . However she could’ve had good customer service and apologize for having us wait that long but she didn’t.

Ordered couple of sweet teas and side of bacon with order about a month ago. Got home; tea was bad and bacon not cooked thoroughly (like partially cooked). Still went back couple of times, just never ordered tea or bacon. Ordered 2 tacos today and side of bacon (though checking bacon before leaving), turns out they gave me one sauce. Asked for an extra. Was quoted "2 tacos, 1 sauce". Responded that have ordered 2 tacos many times before at same place, same time, and ALWAYS got 2: 1 red, 1 green. Lady stated can have another, but I have to pay!?! Sorry, but there are too, too, too, too many mexican food restaurants in SA that they have no problem giving you ONE more sauce. Asked for manager, but told will not be in for 2 hours. Drove off writing this place off for good. And the bacon had no flavor to it.

I ordered the tacos rancheros, and my daughter got chicken fajita. The meat was unseasoned on both plates. The salsa was watery and didn't have much flavor. The rice was the only thing that tasted good. We did not finish our food.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that the table was filthy & seems like it struck a big nerve when I told her to please clean it with an rag that was sopping wet. I had to get napkins to dry it off. Finally she takes our drink order, brings me my canned drink without a cup of ice or a straw & no lemon for the iced tea. At this point I'm annoyed since it was my 2nd time here & the same crappy service. Got a Mexican burger with fries after about 25 minutes & no ketchup, grrrrrrrrrr! All this time, no smile from the waitress, seems like she was angry at the world, but I can't blame her as she was the only one there serving the tables & on top of that, the pesky drive thru. I blame the management for all of this. We won't be returning after this. There's a much better place on the same side of the street about 1000 feet down.

I used to come in the mornings when Celina was working, and the service was always great. She was friendly, helpful, and made the experience pleasant. Unfortunately, I usually only see her on weekends, and because of my work schedule I now have to come in the afternoons. On more than three occasions now, the same girl working in the afternoons has been very rude. When you call to place an order, she answers the phone in a bad tone and barely says “hello,” without even greeting properly or saying the restaurant’s name. When I asked her to simply explain something from the menu, her response was basically “just read the menu.” That kind of attitude toward customers is unacceptable. I’m leaving this review hoping the owner notices and addresses the situation, because customer service like this reflects very poorly on the business and pushes customers away.
