Tip: Ask about spice levels when ordering, as the heat scale can be deceiving. The appetizer portions are huge and can be a meal on their own.

We do a lot of different repairs for big lots. This location is closed. But repairs still need to be done.
I've been dining here since I was a child with my parents. Now I go with my wife and our friends. The staff has always provided great service. Portion sizes are very filling and I always have leftovers to happily enjoy when I return home. Tonight, we ate the chicken curry puffs, spring rolls, sesame chicken, lemon chicken, and pad woonsen. I also very much enjoy the thai yellow curry. The best desserts I've tried have been their ube ice cream served on top of a rice pudding and the strawberry swirl cheesecake. My goal is to try everything on the menu eventually. I'm looking forward to my next meal there.
The service is great. The food is excellent. What more could you ask for? I've had various lunch combos (all very good) and my favorite dish is the Tom Kai soup; I prefer seafood with medium spice 🌶 portions are large and again the food is wonderful!
Amazing customer service by our waiter (it was Friday afternoon) he was so patient and top of it!! Food was white meat, (you at least had the option to choose) and was not mystery meat.
My favorite all around. Love this place. Highly recommend.
This restaurant has been on my rotation list since discovering it in 1999. It use, to be a market/restaurant. I would buy my blue crabs here, every Friday . Anyway, the service has, consistently been good, as well as the food. Can't go wrong here for Thai food ,or basic Chinese food.
I picked this up as an Uber Eats order and my car smelled so good on the way to the delivery the hubs and I had to come try it ourselves. Staff was excellent and the food was good! Large helpings and delicious. Love the Tai Tea also. A must try! We definately will be back.
One of our favorite eateries for years! Their lunch combo menu is a little short on options, but all the food is really good! Noodle dishes are excellent, especially the pad thai, and they use really tender beef (I'm kinda picky about beef used in Asian dishes). Service is quick, and the prices are reasonable.
Love this Thai spot! The best Pad Thai and the coconut breaded shrimp are a must. If my daughter is craving something warm and sweet, she loves their mango sweet rice. So delicious
If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than Asia Kitchen. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with the aromatic allure of expertly crafted dishes. The food was nothing short of extraordinary; each plate showcased vibrant flavors and fresh ingredients that delighted the palate, making it clear that the chefs have a true passion for their craft. The servers were exceptional, exuding warmth and professionalism as they attended to our needs with genuine attentiveness. What truly impressed us was their remarkable willingness to accommodate our large party on such short notice, ensuring we felt welcomed and prioritized throughout the evening. Our table was perfectly set, and they even modified their menu selections to suit our diverse tastes without a hitch. On top of all this, the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality offered, allowing us to indulge without guilt. This wonderful combination of excellent food, attentive service, and great affordability makes [Restaurant Name] an absolute gem in the dining scene. We can’t wait to return!
One of my favorite Asian cuisine restaurants! Service has always been great and prices are very reasonable me all things considered. I highly recommend the Shrimp Pad Woonsen. It's my all time favorite dish from here because of the prom size and wonderful flavor.
The food was amazing. We had the seafood puffs for an appetizer and they were delicious. The portions were big and priced well for the amount of food you get. Our waitress was amazing. It'll definitely be one of our go to spots. I Highly recommend everyone check this place out. You won't be disappointed.
Food was good. Service was really slow and it's wasn't busy.
Teresa provided the best service I have experienced in a long while! She is very professional, quick, and super patient. I observed as she handled multiple tables with guests sporadically requesting additional items. She swiftly transitioned from the kitchen, cashiering, delivering drinks and taking orders flawlessly. Her attitude remained upbeat and kept a smile the entire time. You rock!! Then, the food came... And OMG, it was absolutely delicious, I had to order a whole entire meal to go. 😊 Super satisfied with quality, portions, and service. FYI I ordered curry puffs for appetizer, the red coconut milk curry meal and Thai tea. Stellar!
This place is always amazing!!! We make a food run here at least twice a month. One plate can easily feed two people. We usually each order a plate to share and take plenty home for next day left overs. I highly recommend the chicken pad thai and the cashew fried rice. They are always a hit and never disappoint.
We ordered the pad thai and kung pao, and it was very delicious. The pad thai was a little spicy and the waiter brought another plate that was less spicy. We tried to order the tla ra plate but didn’t have fish available and the food was served quickly and overall the food was amazing.
Haven't been here in a while but great food. Big portions enough for two. Satisfying and delicious
I've been dining at Asia Kitchen since it opened 25+ years ago. Quite simply, the most outstanding mix of Asian cuisine you can find in one place. The interior is bright, clean and well appointed with plenty of seating and lovely decor. The aquariums are absolutely beautiful. Be careful when ordering, because their spice level is a notch or two above other restaurants. I like my meals spicy, but I order mine medium, otherwise it's a bit too much, even for me. That said, every single thing on their menu is exquisite. I highly recommend the seafood salad, but bring your appetite because it is huge!
Food is great, a good value for lunch , we got it to good but some items were forgotten had to go back, has happened a couple of times, will be checking my order before i leave
Absolutely loved our first visit here! Our waitress was so attentive and friendly. She shared stories with us about the process of creating our new favorite appetizer… the cheese rolls (which include more than just cheese!! You get crab which is shelled, shredded and rolled). The coconut shrimp with peanut sauce is a CAN’T PASS! My husband states “I don’t even like coconut shrimp and this is AMAZING” As for main meals, the sesame chicken was great and my husband liked his red curry with peppers too!! Portions are a good value too! Leaving stuffed! We will be back! Our hunt for best Chinese/Thai in San Antonio has concluded!!
Excellent food and service. Portions are big at low prices. If you don't live in this town but we will be back.
I love getting my fried rice here :) My absolute favorite Thai Fried Rice in this area. I also love the gyoza and Pad Thai. Reasonably priced and usually no wait when i call ahead for my order. (I have not eaten at this location, i always order to-go so i don't feel i can rate the atmosphere properly)
Ethan, you’re such a patient man and we’re grateful that you were our server. Hubs said he will remember not to order a spicy on a 12 anymore haha. We came here for the first time on a random lunch date and it was so worth it. The rice such a simple staple was light and fluffy with so much flavor. My snow peas with beef were delicious and not too sweet. The chicken satay was perfectly cooked and the sauces that came with it brought refreshing with the cucumber and sweet with the peanut sauce. The gyoza was some of the best I’ve had since living in San Antonio. We will definitely be back!
Love this Thai spot! The best Pad Thai and the coconut breaded shrimp are a must. If my daughter is craving something warm and sweet, she loves their mango sweet rice. So delicious. Would recommend to anybody
Food is great, a good value for lunch , we got it to go but some items were forgotten had to go back, has happened a couple of times, will be checking my order before i leave. The minor inconvenience was worth the price and food though, I will still come back
The wait for a table was a bit long but not horrible and they did have a big birthday party come in right before us so it was kind of understandable. We ordered the house delight appetizer which had tempura shrimp, cheese rolls, gyoza, and spring rolls. There was 4 of each thing so it was great for hubby and I. Then we also ordered the Yaki Soba Beef (I forgot to take a picture, I was hungry). The Yaki Soba is so tasty and full of veggies with cabbage, carrots, brocolli, squash and there is a lot of meat plus the noodles are super yummy. Overall yum, yum.
UPDATE: 4/2023 WE STOPPED IN FOR PAD THAI, SOUP AND SAKE FOR DINNER THE OTHER NIGHT..GREAT SERVICE FROM OUR WAITER!! HE WAS VERY ATTENTIVE AND UPBEAT!! 😀 .. DINNER WAS DELICIOUS. This is my second visit to Asia Kitchen. Our initial visit we had the Pad Thai and Sake- delicious! Our server Darla was great! On my second visit my Shrimp Curry bowl and White Rice was hot and tasty🤗 My server Celeste was fantastic! Even brought home Pad Thai for dinner. We will come back soon.
This spot deserves Way more credit than it gets. Curry - on point All the time Noodle soup - best value and portion Try anying in the menu and ask about spice levels, you won't be disappointed the servers are knowledgeable kind and patient We've been coming here close to 17 years and it's a weekly favorite
This place is a little gem that I feel like only so many know about. They deserve so much more attention. My mother liked going here when she was alive, if it wasnt for her I would of never of known it existed. I have eaten in, picked up food and had delivery and all times it has always been good. Staff are always nice and the atmosphere is so welcoming. My favorite dish is the Tom Kha Gei soup. If you want something that brings you warmth and comfort, this is it. It brings back nostalgia for me cause the first time I tasted Tom Khai was when we lived overseas and my mom made friends with another military wife who was Thai. Her Tom khai is made exactly how this place makes it. I have tried a few other places around the city and their tom khai soups seem to fall flat. I have tried other food here, and enjoyed them all but for me i always go back to the Tom Kha Gei and if i want something hot and sour I will do the Tom Yum.
Authentic Thai food created per entree with love by the owners Sally and Patrick. The items are superfresh, cut to order with skill and seasoned absolutely perfect. Someone told me this is the oldest Thai restaurant in San Antonio and after talking to the owners it may be true...generations of cooks and wait staff have served tirelessly through the years but with the same high bar of presenting real Thai Food at an affordable price for a memorable experience. I highly recommend this little gem for your flavor bucketlist.
The consistency of Asia Kitchen is the thing I love the most about this place. I have been coming here since I was a kid, I'll be 40 in October. Ethan, my guest service person this morning who handled my order, was absolutely AMAZING!!! And made sure I left with everything exactly the way I was craving it. His guest services performance was beyond par and I set the standard high, being in the service industry myself. I give Ethan his own five stars today and hope he's there for my next visit. Thank you Ethan, and Asia Kitchen, for consistently keeping a smile on my face as I walk out the door, for the last 25+ years. My family and I thank you. For everything and keeping it the same for literally over half of my life.
It was our first time trying this place. We got the lemon chicken dinner, chicken pad Thai and 4 egg rolls. The rice was amazing. The lemon chicken was also delicious. I loved my pad Thai but wish I would have gotten it a little spicy. The best part was the egg rolls. It was abt $57 with a tip bit it was all fresh and they were so sweet there. We will definitely be back for lunch and dinner again. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area and looking for some authentic Asian cuisine. 10000/10
Been going for years and has been consistently good every time. Really tasty Chinese and Thai dishes that never disappoint. The portions are huge and oh so good. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and very attentive. Asia kitchen offers an excellent value and unique dishes at an excellent price. Parking is not a problem. Will continue to visit.
Good food and the server was attentive. The appetizer is freakin' huge!! It's practically a meal on it's own. I ordered my dish as spicy as possible. It was a good burn, definitely spicy...enjoyed every bite. For comparison, I think jalapeno peppers are medium-low heat. So, be advised.
We are so happy that we found this little place for delicious Thai food. When you order you can expect Big portions, for amazing prices!!! I ordered Mongolian Shrimp, Pork Broccoli, and the Red Thai Curry bowl. All of our meals came out at the same time and were really hot ( Temperature and for some of dishes, in the Spicy department! ) like it should be! Our server was so nice and helpful with what we might like to order. I give this place 😋😋😋😋😋 Yummy faces!!! Little side note; We did have to wait for a little bit for our food, we didn't care but if you're super hungry and want food NOW! You might want to order an appetizer to hold you over. I recommend the Vegetable Spring Rolls, they're really good. We also ordered the raspberry tea to share😋 This place is worth the wait!!!
A friend and stopped in for a late lunch she got the curry and I got the shrimp pad Woosan(sp?) We tasted each other's dish, I liked her chicken curry but I fell in love with my shrimp pad Woosan!
Took my daughter after shopping in the strip mall. The place was busy but we didn't wait long to be seated. The drinks took a while but like I said, they were busy on Sunday afternoon and the tea was fresh so all is forgiven. Despite the food being less than piping hot because the server had lots of tables I loved the curry and my daughter got the Shrimp Pad Woo Sen and she enjoyed it! Over all a good experience. I'll be coming back with my husband so I can try their drink 🍸 selection
This place isn't too bad. It's a favorite of some of our friends so we've met them there a few times. The noodles are pretty good. The sesame chicken was very good. One of the apps we ordered (can't remember which one) was recommended by our friend so we were looking forward to them but they came out cold. So hopefully next time we go, they'll be better. Everything else that we all had was nice and hot, so I'm chalking it up to an anomaly. Service was above average. We will continue to go back.
Tried this for my first time but my Wife recommended it as good food so we arrived for lunch. Service was good and the food was tasty as was the stir fried rice, my favorite! One problem! My wife and I ordered to share a plate, no problem! However, my tasty food was cold. The plate was cold to the touch and the beef and Broccoli were stone cold! Even cold the food was tasty and was presented and arranged well. I did NOT complain to the waitress! PS: I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Management plus I have been trained in two culinary schools, managed restaurants successfully, I’ve taught exemplary customer service to wait-staff, I’ve waited on tables and had my own successful catering business. I am now retired and look at restaurants from the other side of the Apron. Blessings!
Delicious food the service is great. They are very friendly. 😋
Food is great and the portions are generous. Our only issue was our server. We arrived 2 hours before closing and were constantly rushing us out while there were many tables available. We spent around an hour dining. We were not even 20 min into our meal and she was already handing out or ticket. 10 min. later, she is handing out to go boxes. We had been sitting for around 30 min. Not even 5 minutes later she's already telling us she's going to see us at the register. It felt like she did not want us there. We left at 9:10 pm.
Recently visited Asia Kitchen around 6PM for a dinner outing and was immediately greeted by the hustle and bustle of a busy restaurant. Despite the evident rush, it was hard not to notice the team’s dedication, especially since there were only 2 servers managing the floor. The restaurant had signs up indicating they’re hiring, a humble reminder of their plea for support to keep the place running. Given the quality of food and service, I truly hope they find the help they need. The food, where do I begin? Each dish, including the must-try Thai fried rice and the savory kung pao chicken, was a testament to their commitment to freshness and flavor. The vegetables in the kung pao chicken were perfectly cooked, tossed in a sauce that was just divine. Despite our large party, every dish served was a hit, leaving us completely satisfied yet somehow longing for more - if only we had space for dessert! Asia Kitchen proves that even on the busiest of days, quality doesn’t have to be compromised. Their food is a delightful journey through taste and aroma, making any wait worthwhile. For those looking for authentic, flavorful meals that feel home-cooked and are served with care, this is the place. My only wish, aside from having saved room for dessert, is for this local gem to continue thriving and sharing their culinary art with many more. Highly recommended for a truly satisfying dining experience.
Love the food. The lunch specials are phenomenal. Dinner portions are definitely enough to split. Pineapple rice is excellent and even better (somehow) the next day.
Food is amazing, but their online ordering process is terrible. You cannot place orders in advance...you cannot place them until they are actually open. I've never seen an online order process that will not let you place an order in advance, like for the next day. That's a very frustrating way to do business. I knew we needed lunch for the next day, so I went to their website and it's not even an option. Get it together guys. Such great food and I have to wait until 11am the day of to place an order? It's 2025, not 2001. Get w/the current times.
I had an exceptional dining experience thanks to Ashley's outstanding customer service, which made the atmosphere feel even warmer and more inviting. The elegant fish tanks added a touch of sophistication to the overall ambiance. The food was, as always, amazing, and the Sauvignon Blanc selection was impressive. My only minor complaint was the inconsistency in portion sizes - I ordered a 9oz and a 4oz, but they appeared to be the same amount. Nonetheless, I'll definitely be returning
Very delicious and big portion food. Pad Thai was phenomenal. Fried rice could use more flavor but still good. I really liked how clean the oil tasted, unlike other Chinese restaurants where they reuse oil (we can tell the difference). If you get the seafood puffs, I recommend letting it cool for about 5 mins because once you bite into it, the piping hot cheese will splurge out. The only thing I did not like about this restaurant was that once you step into the front door, it smells like urine or homeless people. I'm not sure what it is, but the smell went away once we got to our table, so it might be the front door mat? My wife wanted to leave after we got to the door, but I wanted to give this place a chance and glad I did. We will be coming back!
I’m updating my original review after speaking with Kimmie, the manager. I called her when the restaurant opened the next morning since I don’t like to leave a bad review without first speaking to the owner/manager. Kimmie was fantastic. She did explain to me, that the restaurant does not take returns of food if it’s too spicy. I was not aware of it as it was our first time ordering and felt I was pretty clear about what I needed over the phone. I was able to return the food we had for new food. And Kimmie promised it would be correct and delicious. And it was!!! She ended up giving us our spice on the side, which was great. I could make mine how I wanted and the kids could make theirs how they wanted. My child said it was the BEST kung pao chicken he’s ever had. My pad Thai was delicious too. Instead of getting the cheese rolls again, Kimmie suggested the Seafood Puffs…and those were AMAZING! Waaaayyyy better and did not get soggy. I’m very grateful to Kimmie for making things right. I did still leave a 4 ⭐️ review because of there is that much inconsistency with food when she isn’t there to supervise, the employees to need make sure the quality is to her standard like she is there. We will definitely try again to make sure things are great! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I must have gotten them on a bad night or something because my review will not at all reflect what others have mentioned. I placed a “to-go” order for pick up at 8:15. I was driving from about 30 min away. I ended up arriving at 8:20. Took the food home. The cheese rolls were soggy (given the time to drive home, I’m not surprised, but I don’t think there was any crispness to them to begin with). Our food had sooooo much oil in it. The egg rolls I received were actually over cooked and so crunchy my kids couldn’t eat them. So I had them, but had to throw away one as I bit into something hard…bone like. I couldn’t continue eating it at that point. I was shocked to hear they had a 0-15 level for spice. When I placed my order, the gentleman on the phone (who was fabulous and ever so polite) said he’d make our dishes a level 5 since it was for my kids, who can normally tolerate a medium spice elsewhere. We ordered Sesame Chicken, Kung Pao chicken, and chicken pad Thai with extra chicken. These dishes were so incredibly spicy, my kids couldn’t even eat them. I usually get medium hot and I couldn’t eat them either. I’m really not sure what went wrong with my order. The pad Thai noodles were over cooked. The chicken even tasted funky and we all had stomach aches this morning from the small bites we had. I’m overall incredibly disappointed. I tried calling as soon as I could to talk to management last night, but it was a couple minutes past closing time. I do plan to call today. I never like to write a review like this without notifying management about why. I do not plan to return here. I was really disappointed because of the fantastic reviews there were and it had been on my list to try for over a year. My experience does seem to align with a few others. So I’m assuming they just had an off night since the majority of reviews are good. My advice…eat at the restaurant so you can be sure the product is what you asked for. My kids ended up eating cereal last night :(
First time here and probably the last time unfortunately. Service was great, it was the food. My food was dry and more breading than meat. Fried rice and the pad wansen lacked flavor and was dry. Wasn't what I was hoping for.
The food was great and big portions. We came in for a quick lunch before rush hour and were told that the kitchen was backed up. After waiting for an hour and few minutes, we finally received our food. We had to rush to eat and pack some food to go, which is why I am giving a rating of three stars. Although we liked the food, the waiter were polite, we had to actively search for the waiter for refill. I do not expect to come anytime soon.
I ordered through ubereats and had it delivered but have done so 3 times at this point. Tonight must have been a bad start to their night because the pad Thai and was oily and crazy saucy, the broccoli dish was also super super saucy, the egg rolls were super greasy/over fried. I’ve had the pad Thai before and it wasn’t this saucy. The best part to our meals were the sweet rice with mango. This is probably going to be what we’ll only order moving forward.
First time eating here and ordered take out. Received my order wrong I was missing my spring rolls and got triangle wontons instead that had some kind of crab filling… not really what I wanted but oh well. I ordered the pad thai combination and it was extremely oily and not enough meat and we also got the panang curry dish which my husband enjoyed.
8/16/24 this is a edit review, I’m truly disappointed I’m writing this review when this place has never failed me. But today my family and I went for the same thing combination pad Thai, and beef num prig poa, the flavor is off the beef tasted like it was going bad, it was not the same at all. The plate usually comes with beef, onions broccoli, mushrooms and shredded carrots today it did not come with mushrooms or shredded carrots, the beef was not what it normally is. It did not have the grilled flavor it usually has. It was not edible as far as the beef. My husband ordered the combination pad Thai and he said his flavor was off as well he said his plate came with chicken more than anything and only 2 pieces of shrimp and a few pieces of beef. Not what it usually is either. It usually come very flavorful with grilled meat today it almost tasted like if it was steamed it was bland. The flavor profile has lost a few notches this was our favorite place to enjoy Thai. I’m truly hoping we don’t have to find another place. The waitress asked if we were gonna order anything else as she brought us the ticket. We said no we told her something he changed in food and the meat was not right. She was going to tell the kitchen cooks but I didn’t bother. Please bring back the old grilled flavor on the meat and keep original recipe. She did mention there was a trainy today so idk. Really bummed this is our go to always . As you can tel from the comments below I had previously left a 5 star review now I have to go with a 3 star. I didn’t take pictures this time and around. But there is an obvious change. Love the combination Pad Thai and spring rolls. They don’t have much of a kids menu but it’s okay. The servers are always friendly the food does take a while to come out but it’s good so worth the wait. Love the white rice this is white rice should be. My new fave is Num Prig Poa beef and my husband always does the same thing combination pad Thai. Great place to Come with the family. My kids love the aquariums too so that’s a plus.
First time here. Went for dinner on a Friday night. The spring rolls were fried, which was unexpected, but they were good. They scared us a bit with the 0-20 heat scale. Don't be afraid. My bf chose 10 for kung pao chicken & it had barely any heat. I got 15 for the Gaeng Ped & asked for more red pepper flakes. The flavor was good in both, we just wanted more heat. Fyi, we both like a lot of spice. The server was fabulous & very helpful. I'd go back again, I'll just order a 19-20 on their scale.
Used to do take out quite a lot from them. In particular ordering the lunch special. I ordered yesterday a sesame chicken to go. Nothing special. Chicken pieces were not tenders. Not flavorful. In the end with taxes came to over 18$. I understand that after Covid everything has become outrageously expensive but, for that price, I can get great, really flavorful chicken tenders at a place like the Pearl in downtown. Not sure if someone else is managing the kitchen but, for me, yesterday was the last time.
On 10-24-19 ordered curry chicken at work and very different with what im used to. First time eating plate and too much potatoes, not enough veggies and chicken. Potatoes soaked up spice of the curry😔 Rice very different also. But all in all it was ok. I would try different plate though
UPDATE 9/1/25 Food gets 11 out of 10. Service is still poor. If you’re craving good Thai food, get it from here to go. It’s unfortunate that this place is a miss for me these days. While employees are always friendly, service time and lack of attention to detail are the reason for the low ratings. My chicken was over cooked and resembled chicken jerky. There were spots of my entree that were literally black. I miss the Asia Kitchen of 15 years ago.
Consistently great food over the decades... When I met my wife 17 years ago I was excited to show her my favorite restaurant since I was a kid. We continued to go to Asia Kitchen often, taking our babies in their carseats over the years. As our family grew into a party of 8, we continued to go to the restaurant and have always ordered the exact same order. Every single time. Having little kids, 5 combination plates have always fed our family of 8 very well. Today we ordered our usual order, and today we were penalized with fees for not ordering 8 plates. We were puzzled by the new extra charges, asked about it, and then calmly paid them. It's sad that we won't be able to return because of these new fees. After years of being loyal customers, with our kids growing and loving the place, it seems that current management is unaware of who their loyal clientele has been. Great food. Great memories. We'll miss it.
First time ordering from here, got it delivered. Everything was still warm and exactly what I ordered, but this was disappointing after spending so much to pay for the convenience of having it delivered. I ordered the kung pao beef and the portions were big, but there was hardly any beef in it. I’m attaching pictures to show how filled my plate was after eating all the meat and quite a few of the veggies. Don’t get me wrong, love veggies, but I didn’t order a vegetarian plate. I would have liked to have had more beef. My steamed rice was also mostly mushy so that wasn’t great either. Overall, the flavor was ok, but I’ve enjoyed mall food more than this. I don’t think I’d order again anytime soon.
I’ve been here a few times and have had great experiences.. but tonight not so much. Called in an order of pad woonsen , asked for a little spice which I’ve had before and the amount of spice is way more than a little almost unbearable .. also had a nice chomp on some egg shell. The amount of meat was also unacceptable I’ve had this plate plenty of times and this time was all glass noodles..pretty upsetting overall .
Service and food here are spotty, sometimes they're good other times you'll be treated like an inconvenience because they messed up your food. My money is better spent elsewhere.
Been a customer for over 16 years. After today, will not be returning The food isn’t the same anymore. About a yr ago we ordered sesame chicken. Chicken looked cooked but it was raw inside the breading! We decided to try again today. Sesame Chicken was cooked this time but lacked flavor and was very dry. The sauce was just sweet not much to it. Chicken pad thai had maybe 4 pieces of chicken. All of it was noodles and onions. We tried to give it a second chance. This used to be my favorite asian restaurant. 🙃
Our food was horrible, when I opened the lid it was a grey looking sauce and looked so unappetizing, took a taste and had no flavor what so ever, I ordered chicken with basil. I also ordered fried rice and it had no flavor and it wasn't fried rice it was Mexican rice with no flavor, I had to toss it, my friend had diarrhea the next day. So two meals and 3 burnt springs rolls and a tea was 54 dollars!! Never again!!
I’ve been here twice and the first time I did take out, and the customer service was average and the food was okay. The second time I went, dine-in and the service was below average in my opinion and the food (lunch specials )! We were told they could not take peanuts out of the dish, yet if we wanted to get the “dinner” then the peanuts could be taken out of that, so yeah no more tries for us.
Unfortunately we didn’t have a good experience. One of the plates I ordered had hair in it, so we will not be returning. When I called they asked when I wanted to pickup another plate, I said the same day but by the time I got to the restaurant my son decided he didn’t want another plate. He was disgusted by the first plate. So I asked for a refund and I was told no because they already had made another plate. So I will not be returning. It wasn’t are fault the food had hair in it and I should’ve had to make another trip in 5pm traffic and I should’ve been given the option of a full refund. Prepare food more carefully so you don’t have these issues and wear hairnets that cover all your hair.
I’ve been going to Asia Kitchen for over 30 years—this place has been part of my childhood, my family dinners, and so many memories. But today, on my birthday, I had one of the most upsetting experiences I’ve ever had with them. I ordered online and chose “mild-medium” like I always do, but what I got was so spicy it was literally inedible. I called, hoping for a simple solution… but instead, I was met with rudeness, no accountability, and zero compassion. The woman on the phone told me no one could help me until 9:45PM, as if my birthday dinner didn’t matter. Over $50 wasted, my evening thrown off, and honestly—I’m just heartbroken. After decades of loyalty, this is how we’re treated? Not even an apology. Not even kindness. Asia Kitchen didn’t just lose a sale tonight. They lost a customer of 30+ years. Me and my family will never be back. -000000 stars especially for the woman at the front!!!!
I been going to Asia kitchen for 18 + years and always had a good experience . Their customer service has always been wonderful until today. I called in a pickup up order. The ladies up front were very nice. As I was walking to my car I realized there wasn’t any sauce in my bag so I walk back in to ask for some sauce. As I’m talking to one of the ladies at the front desk I realize I ordered the wrong salad. So they offered to make the salad. Because I know it was my mess up on the order I told them don’t worry about the $3 refund. As I’m waiting for about 15 minutes on my new order Gloria is yelling in the kitchen at a worker about why my does my salad look the way it does in the container and if I touch it, that’s not how it looked when she made it,Why I ordered the wrong salad. So I tried to explain to Gloria that all I did was walk to my car and Gloria yelled back to me “ I can’t hear you.” Gloria not sure if you were just having a bad day or that’s you everyday. Just know you got me on a good day. Gloria you’re too old to be acting like that over a damn salad and went way too hard for a company that isn’t in your name. Ms Gloria kindness is free and goes a long way, The salad only cost $16.
Sheesh! I just ordered 40 dollars worth of food for lunch and asked for extra peanuts and hot sauce and was told I'd be getting charged extra for the peanuts and hot sauce smh been going there for over 20 years and this is a first. You must be in bad shape to charge extra for this👎🏽👎🏽 I will pay buy I no longer will tip the usual 3 dollars on my to to go orders.I'm embarrassed for y'all!
Not friendly place to an autistic and egg allergy family don’t allow to introduce food the especial kids and invite us to leave 🥺 the waitress was sweet but not the manager i hope one day this mentality change !!! The food is delicious but im not going back!!
Picked up an order on 09/21/2023 for sesame chicken. It was burnt beyond edible, missing the side of rice, and sauce. I am attaching the photos to show proof of the burnt chicken and the melted styrofoam plate it was served on. I called to complain as anyone would and the girl that answered said the plate is supposed to have vent holes in it. Those are not vent holes! I have been ordering from this location for way to long for this to happen. Just nasty! I'd like to see the workers at Asia Kitchen try eating this burnt trash! You are serving this to your customers and should be very ashamed.
My wife and I ordered the most simple item at an Asian restaurant, combination fried rice. I got the order and when I got home both containers were swimming in orange colored grease. It also tasted funny. I am writing this as it happened. It looks like I will be skipping dinner tonight. Even pizza or fried chicken doesn’t get this greasy.
I always get pad thai here since I was pregnant but this time the pad thai I ordered is waaay too spicy to be medium spice level. A lot of flakes and the first bite I took literally burned my mouth. I usually order medium ever since and this time their medium is like Hot level. They don’t even tell you that they can’t fix if u order medium or above. So disappointed. Chef or manager even said she doesn’t think it says on their website site that you can’t get your order fix if it’s too spicy than it used to be. We most likely won’t go back to this place
The only veggie item on menu was fried veggies. It was just warm and not at all cooked plus had a lot of grit. I could eat only the white rice. The first and last time. $10 down the drain. Don Goodman 9/18/25
