OMG... Probably the fastest to go in the city. I walked in after seeing the line outside I took my luck in coming inside to order some tacos. I sat down and started to look at my social media and within two minutes my order was way ready. And they have very good tacos and very good tortillas. And the lady at the counter I think her name was Christina she was very smiley and great!!
Came for a family dining event after a (Funeral). The event options are great. The service was really good. The servers where very busy with about 80plus guests in this party. And they did a good job staying on top of drinks and making sure people had food. The menu was pre selected for the event and included a taco, rice, beans, and 2 flautas. All were very delicious. The portions where great and filling.
Amazing service! Amazing food! Everyone was kind, helpful, quick and efficient! Absolutely will be coming back here again! I ordered a hot chocolate, and she was kind and put cinnamon on it. It was delicious. When I ordered food to go, as well, they were quick to help me. They made sure I was checked on the entire time! Highly recommend coming here!!!!
I didn't get the waiter's name but on the receipt it read Camacho C. So to the waiter that served us deserves a huge shoutout for the excellent service he provided my son and I on Christmas Eve. He saw my son shoot his straw wrapper at me and kept handing him more straws and it was the funniest thing. Small gesture like that made the meal and time spent more enjoyable. Great food, great service- even my 9 year old said the same. Thanks a bunch! Merry Christmas!
This is my go to place to grab a torta and some breakfast potatoes. I've only had bad service once out of countless visits. Everything was fresh and perfect. The salsa was so delicious and just the right amount of spicy. I'm not a big fan of their fries so I eat their breakfast potatoes which are always on point. The ladies in the kitchen and the gentleman that waited on me did an awesome job.
Had a wonderful experience here! Food was delicious & authentic! Was a Sunday, but the wait was not long. Our waitress was very attentive. My husband said to be sure and include in this review that the cook should should get a raise& not ever be let go! Lol We went to the location on 281 for years until it was no longer there. Food was good back then too, but yesterday's meal just took me waaaaaay back to my Abuela's cooking. You know the food's gotta be good!❤️
Our family of 28 had our Christmas dinner there, and the wait staff was fantastic. Not only did they accommodate us quickly, but they were patient with our many requests. Sylvia, our server, was working our table alone, and she managed us very well. It was personally my first time there, but I was impressed with the quality of food, their prices, and their drinks. We will be back!
I recommend this restaurant We went today (Saturday) it was really busy but the service was great and the food was delicious It also has a drive thru if you dont want to go. Its kid friendly There lemonade was so delicious and refreshing We were starving so no pictures were take lol but over 5 stars
My first time coming here and the food was really good. The fried fish was so flavorful I’d definitely recommend that plate. I recommend it for myself also because I was stealing bites from my husband’s plate. The only down fall was our waitress. Not once did she come check on us for refills or more alcoholic drinks. Or anything period. A gentleman saw me looking around and right away came to ask if we needed anything. So that was nice. Either way I’ll definitely be going back for a painkiller 🍹
Their restaurant atmosphere is really lovely! The food presentation however is very boring. We ordered a Ranchero Plate and Chilaquiles plate. I feel like it could be better. Refried beans are very runny. Tortillas are very soft. Waitress only brought food but never came back for refills. We had to ask for refills when we paid to leave. Restaurant was very empty so not many people to tend to 🤷🏻♀️ I plan to go back during lunch time soon to check out this place again.
We took our nephew and niece for a late breakfast, early lunch. Not too busy but the place is pretty big. Can sit large parties. Food and coffee was hot. Waitress was helpful and fast. We ordered the pozole, the Brianna special, enchilada plate and nacho supreme plate. The pozole was good. Comes with lime, cabbage and onions with 2 tosadas on side. The Brianna plate is one enchilada with fajitas rice and beans. My nephew ate all his nachos and my niece could not finish her enchiladas but she did say they were ok. She's picking but did like the salsa and chips and tortillas.
Takeout as fresh made to order!!! 10/7/2020 - This Tink-A-Tako is probably the best one of San Antonio. The food is always great, whether you are having breakfast, lunch or dinner. With the pandemic affecting all of us for the last nine months, it is good to see, that they are taking the extra precautions to social distance their customers and applying cleanliness to the tables after a patron eats. Today's breakfast was excellent and delicious!!!! Our server took care of my wife and was very attentive in making sure our glasses were full and making us feel welcome!! Masks are required and social Distancing is practiced!!! Good Luck Tink-A-Tako!!! Happy Eating Folks!!!
Usually have good experiences with this establishment, both in the drive thru and with delivery. Today was a disappointment. I placed my order and my delivery driver was there within 15 minutes. He was stuck waiting an additional 25 minutes for the food. I can't imagine ordering something and having to wait a total of 40 minutes for it to come out. To top it off, the advertised queso for the asada fries was nowhere to be seen. I had a plate of fries and huge strips of less-than-fresh-tasting asada. I had also requested no cheese on my son's egg and cheese taco, as there was no option for just an egg taco. It still came loaded with cheese. Hoping this was just an off day but I'll keep my distance for the time being.
Still 3 stars: Now, I was gonna give 4 stars since the food was actually warm and salsa cold like it should be but disappointed when I got my receipt and server giving me attitude. Told her I didn't order a sweet tea, nachos and 2 bean & cheese. I ordered one bean & cheese. She said oh the margaritas not on here, it's more. Ok, so first off I ordered 1 bean & cheese and no tea or nachos. Then she says ok she forget to charge me the 2 to go cups. The first receipt was $5 more than my actual receipt so I filled the to go cups with salsa since she charged me 25 cents each for 2 lil cups. Then she's all upset saying I should of told her so she could charge me more for extra salsa. Sure, trying to charge me $5 more in the first place for someone else's receipt and not apologize for that. Lucky I still gave her a $2 tip for trying to make me pay more in the first place. Doubtful will be back, my daughter said Bill Millers bean & cheese is better than here anyways. 10 months ago 3 stars: $5 for queso. That's pricy. Same price for cheese quesadilla and for steak quesadilla? Not worth it. They know how to overprice their food. $30 and they forgot to give me my most expensive meal. 😒 enchiladas are better at Jalisco's on Marbach rd.
Older waitress was condescending. Food came out quick, but my potato and chorizo had barely anything in it. Had to ask for more chorizo, which they charged me $4 for a tiny plate of it. Bean and cheese barely had any cheese, had to ask for more and charged me $2 for a small plate of it. After my tacos came out and saw they needed more, it had to wait almost 10 minutes just for my waitress to come back around. By then my food was cold.
they took forever to sit and serve us on a slow afternoon.... the people sat after us got their beverages first. it wasn't until we walked out and were damn near our car did they actually care to run out and give us attention.
Placed my order got charged. After waiting over 10 minutes, I get told they are out of tamales. Had to wait another 15 minutes to get refunded. Plus now have to wait 3 to 4 business days for the money to be refunded. All I wanted was tamales 😭😭😭
The borracho beans were most excellent. But that was the only thing I ate. I tried the cheese enchiladas and their gravy is totally tasteless and Bland. I'd rather have enchilada sauce out of a can than this slop. And the flour tortillas don't even get me started. They were paper thin and so chewy they weren't worth eating either. I will not return to this place it's a hard pass.
The chicken fajita was pink and not cooked all the way. It didn't have that fajita taste I was expecting. I live in Houston, and our fajitas come out-sized and have that fajita taste. It felt as if it was just half-seasoned chicken thighs. My husband's steak fajitas were cold. The bean dip was good, and the new waiter was friendly.
