Tortillas needs to be cook more, service was good, food taste blend. The tables and chairs were not in compliance, too many tables and chairs together in one room, did check the other room , the first one all the tables were block you could not sit down and there was signed blocking the path to the bathroom.

Nice place. Great service. Good food. Sometimes they have a wonderful family group of Mariachi's to serenade you as you eat. I would recommend this place to anyone. On a scale of 1 to 10 they get a rating of 10.

Went for breakfast. Though they serve the whole menu all day. Food was good, it was quiet. I think I had the gringo is what it's called. It was a lot more food than I anticipated.

The place feels very welcoming. Service is well timed and food is good. We came across the restraunt 2yrs. ago since we were new to the neighborhood and didnt know what tasted more close to home, so when we tried them out, we have continued coming ever since and have been happy with every visit.

My family only wants to eat here. It is a hole in wall place with get service and great salsa. Really it is just great Salsa. They know us there and bring each of us our own salsa. I always make a point of tipping a lot because the food is so cheap. I tip like 40%. The lunch specials come with a tea and they are like 4.99-6.99. It is not the nicest place by far but they have great salsa and chips and decent food. My out of town family has to go there when they come in town. Cheap and good!

Dude I was really skeptical about this place. But is really good. Got the kids pankcakes, bacon, and eggs. They loved it ate everything. For myself got the classic 2 om eggs, beans, potatoes, bacon. And of course flour tortillas. This was really great. Enjoyed myself atmosphere was like I was in corpus and I’m going for tacos in the morning. Very nice for my family and I . Cheese Enchiladas very good sauce perfect. Salsas delicious mild and spicey. Beans creamy and flavored perfect. Excellent home made corn tortillas. Chips addictive. Spot on beef taco. Crunchy hot and loaded with flavor. I'm a visitor of San Antonio and went twice within 3 days.Definitely will seek out next visit. First visit service 100%. Second visit lacking 80% but food too good to not look past it.

I ordered the Green Enchilada Plate Dinner w/tea special for $6.99. My wife ordered the Chicken Mole Dinner w/tea for $5.99. Both plates were delicious and at a bargain price. Thank you Patricia for taking care of us. We will be returning soon. 🙂

We recently moved within 20min walking distance of this restaurant. It’s my spouse and my breakfast date every weekend now. The amount of food you get for the price is fantastic, and most days there are breakfast/lunch specials for anyone who likes to think thrifty. The meal is usually at your table within 5min of ordering. If you’re wanting a full meal quickly and at a good price, this place is my recommendation.

Update: I went for breakfast on my own and asked Patricia, my server, if they had menudo and she said they had both menudo and pozole and recommended the pozole. It was delicious! First time trying it! Came home and told my husband and we're going tomorrow... and I'm having another bowl of pozole. The broth is super flavorful, the meat extra tender and it is served with tostadas, cabbage and lime. Great recommendation... Thanks Patricia!! Everything was so good. Excellent service from Araceli. My husband had the pork chop breakfast and I had 2 tacos- nopales con huevo and machacado. Very good and filling. Corn tortillas are fresh and tasty. I will definitely go again. There's even a drive thru. Update: We now go 1-2 times a week. Great Mexican breakfast. I had the barbacoa taco (my new favorite) n a small menudo.... Both Amazing! Highly recommend! .. Forgot to get photos this time.

We were greeted as we walked in. The restaurant looked clean. As we sat, the waitress greeted us and what we would like to drink as we looked at the menu. We ordered the skillet grilled chicken and beef fajita. It came with all of the extras. It was soo delicious. We recommend this restaurant for big or small parties because it's a great atmosphere and plenty of room and big tables.

The optics of the location kept me away. After the terrible tacos at Sandra’s Tink a taco up the road, I stopped here, thinking, is it possible to get a better taco? Not better, but, very good tacos! Cooking on a grill is not easy, the chef in this kitchen knows how to use the grill. The tacos are also made to order. This is awesome, I will sit and wait for a good taco. Well? I had to visit the next day in order to see if I would receive the same. Two days in a row, and it was great. I’ll have to keep trying looking for a disappointment. 😂 Well? Finally had my disappointment in two recent visits. Bacon and egg tacos were the tortillas were edible. Not sure what happened? New cook? Not good. On one of my visits, they saw me come in, said, good morning, and never came to my table🤷🏻‍♂️ so I walked out🤦🏻‍♂️

Alright google familia let’s be real. If you do not want to leave the country but want to resonate in some delicious comfort food say hello to your new favorite friend. I have been in need of good food and decided to stop on by and was not disappointed in any sense of the way. To top it off the service was impeccable very sweet and the food ordered was really quick to come to the table. Ever in need of a good time with family over good food visit them.

They have some good dinner specials and the tacos are good...the barbacoa tacos are the bomb order the cilantro n onions on the side with the green salsa..oooh yeah..Patricia was a nice,good friendly server thank you

We come here all the time but I feel like they treat my husband different when he goes to order he don’t get a thank you and the tacos don’t look full like they do when I order them I don’t know if it has to do because he is black but if so that’s not right and that’s not good business their food is good but they shouldn’t be treating people different because of the color of their skin we spend good money there if this continues we are going to have to find another place to go hope they change their ways or else they are going to lose business

First timer here tacos are really good wasn’t to sure about this place but hey it’s a first time for every taco restaurant. I got 2 bean and cheese an 1 Carna guisada always love bean and cheese but the carna guisada was awesome the meant was really soft not all chewing I highly recommend to stop by it’s pretty good 👉🏻🌮👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 oh and the tea was amazing not to sweet or watery just right 🙌🏻

I got the chile relleno plate, beans were great, rice was good, the chile relleno was not too good, the meat was over seasoned like for tacos, the breading was soggy, the Ranchero sauce was tasteless and watery. The staff was friendly and helpful. I asked for tea refill to go and they did so. Their sweet tea is great.

I love going there because it's close to my job and the togo lady in the mornings is very nice, But they Always forget my green salsa. I ask for extra green salsa because i dont like the red one for my specific tacos. And i always get the same two - a red salsa / a green salsa. The same two no matter how many tacos i order. I don't mind being charged a little extra for my extra green salsa. I'd just like to enjoy my tacos the way i like them. Anyways, I'll still go back. And I'll still tip the nice lady. 😞 I'll just double check my bag EVERY time i go now.

This is another one of those great little hole in the wall Tex-Mex joints. They have great breakfast tacos, lunch specials, and serve beer with dinner all at a reasonable price. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area, but nothing to go across town for though.

Had breakfast tacos there this morning. I had the papas ranchera on a flour tortilla. Very good and INEXPENSIVE. Only thing keeping them from 5 stars is it was smokey from the grill. They have lots of fans around so I have a feeling this is a regular occurrence. I will try it again though and see how it is.

Definitely one of the little hole on the wall around the area but we love the food. It's best to bring cash to avoid the card fee. The service is fine just never more than "hello, what would you like? More tea? Anything else?" Which is fine with us because we get what we need then get left alone. Not too many tables but we've never seen it terribly full even during lunch. They do have lunch specials which is nice to take advantage of!

Love their breakfast tacos! They could add little more portions to it but I understand they need to survive but sometimes a taco will be filled with little filling to where it's just Tortilla really.

I like this place food is pretty good I'm satisfied but this last time I visited I was disappointed because they took forever just to get our drinks and chips. There wasn't but a couple of tables and us. I noticed a sign that said due to the meat shortage all plates containing chicken or beef would be an extra $1.50 And tacos an extra.50 cents but here is the problem I had a cheese enchilada plate so how in the world are they going to charge me extra for that???It didn't have any meat!!!! I didn't think that was cool. The waitress wasn't that friendly but there are a couple that are i haven't seen them though. Also there are no paper towels in the restroom.

Guisada was tender and good. Not the best I ever had but still was pretty good. Everything was above average. The only fault is that I asked for flour tortillas and the server brought me corn tortillas. It wasn't that busy at the time we went so that is not an excuse.

The parking area was recently renewed. All the staff parked near the rear, west side of restaurant out of clear view. One vehicle was parked near the front of building. An orange cone was near the parking lot entrance. I drove by a couple days earlier, and the restaurant was closed due to the parking lot renovation. I thot it might still be closed, as I drove by. But, there was a car near the front, so, I turned around to see if the place was really re-opened. As I entered the lot and came closer, I saw a small, red lighted sign in the window.."open". A couple was just exiting to go to that parked car. I entered the building and was greeted by nice wait staff. I ordered food and drink, which came quite fast. The food was excellent. The waitress came back to the table a couple times to check to see if I needed anything. The price was reasonable and overall a good dining experience. I gave a 5 out of 6 stars, as it was confusing whether the restaurant was even open or still under renovation. I think if a few of the staff had parked out front near the entrance, it would have indicated the restaurant was open. I recommend the restaurant based on good service, and tasty Mexican food reasonably priced. I will return soon.

The parking isn't that great. Our food came out before we got our drinks. The food was good & hot. The Restaurant was clean and so was the Restrooms. The service was okay we placed our drink order with 3 sweet tea's, we got one sweet tea & two lemonades instead of the tea's. I understand it was alittle busy, but the server needs to pay attention to the customer's

Revised review. Still my favorite place for breakfast tacos but... I can't recommend the barbacoa because it's extremely greasy, chucky, and too much fat. Big disappointment because everything else breakfast related is really good. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I've been looking for a Mexican restaurant down Potranco with a drive thru and good breakfast tacos. I found it! These tacos are big, delicious and incredibly cheap. Highly recommend!

Customer service was awesome! I woke up craving enchiladas so I figure I try this place out. I had tink a taco enchiladas last night they were awesome but I wanted to try a "real" Mexican restaurant. I was very disappointed these were the worst tasting enchiladas I have ever had.. Taste like I Was eating enchiladas from McDonalds #DontEatTheEnchiladas

Quite pricey for the quality and quantity of the food. Server was very nice and attentive but still got one of our orders wrong.

Everybody else says this is a good restaurant but I had a bad experience. I called ahead right before closing. I got there and the door was locked. I took over 10 minutes for the lady finally answered the door and they didn't start preparing my order until I paid. I forgot, Never go to any restaurant when they're trying to go home.

The food was great... Why only 3 stars you ask? Because we went through the drive through the lady acted like she got it perfectly (i should've made her repeat the order) we got home and the whole order was WRONG! not one taco was right.

Great Barbacoa , good Carne and Red salsa. Service was really bad, I was the only customer at the counter and was not addressed for several minutes while 4 different workers looked at me as I entered. They ignored me for minutes staring at me occasionally. Finally a girl came out from back and told me my order was not ready. She verified I called in the right phone number at 7:00 AM, it took till 7:38 to get my order, after being told to wait an additional 5 mins in store. The annoying part of the whole experience was that while I was waiting and being ignored 2 of the ladies behind the counter started to check their makeup in a large mirror on the wall. They just continue to ignore me while fixing their eye makeup and lipstick. FOOD - 4 stars, Service - 1.25 stars. Overall 3 stars. I will most likely order Barbacoa take out from them in the next 6 months to a year.

I just went there to get some tacos for my friends at Valero on Military & Loop 410. I don't know how they were made nor how good they were. My order was messed up cuz I had asked for bacon in the strip but they gave me the chewed up bacon. Had to wait longer while the order was fixed . . .

Steak/Asada was burnt and barely edible on 2 different plates. Waitress only came twice to get our order and leave food. For 80 bucks not worth it.

First time trying this place and right off the bat the entrance/exit and parking area needs work. Arrived and the place seemed dusty. It was kinda dark and tv was set to a disconnected channel. The service was pleasant and our waitress was nice and actually spoke Spanish. The food was decent but nothing worth going back for unfortunately.

We were served are food and beverages extremely fast however TVs were not on to watch local news after the waitress bought our drinks we did not get offered a refill until we were already leaving but the biggest plus was the food was hot hot hot hot ho t hot temperature wise Default was the beans were not made fresh they w ere canned beans and sweet tea was not sweet it almost taste like unsweet tea

The day I chose to write a review I was disappointed. I’ve came to this restaurant at least 3 times before today. I ordered 6 bacon and egg, 1 potato and egg, 1 bean and cheese, 1 chorizo and papa & a menudo. They gave me an extra taco of chorizo and egg. As the picture shows there was hardly any egg in the potato and egg. The bacon was two big chunk of bacon pieces. And the papas were hard as if they weren’t freshly made. Hubby said the menudo was good but overall not satisfied today.

Man I usually love this spot. Today I ordered 8 tacos and they only charged me for 7 . Not sure why , if they didn't understand me or if there's a limit. Anyways I come home and see that they aren't event putting the full ingredients in my tacos anymore. Such as lettuce , tomatoes and cilantro. All were missing in the tacos they were supposed to come with . On top of that they are charging more for the tacos and plates, i dont understand why. Lastly my sons bean and cheese was more like cheese and tortilla with maybe like a salsa cup amount of beans in his taco. Service was poor. The food was bland. The sauce wasn't great except the one that came with the chips. The tortillas looked and tasted like the HEB mini flour tortillas. The place was clean along with the restroom.

Food is always fast and great. We were sat by the waitress. She then quickly walked away before even asking if we wanted a drink. We tried getting her attention but she just walked away. She seemed to be more in to her cell phone. Our appetizer came out right along with our meal. We had to push our dinner aside so we could enjoy our nachos. My dish was very spicy and delicious but I needed to continuously have something to drink because my mouth was on fire. I waited for our waitress because the other was busy with other customers. I politely walked up to her and asked for another coke because I was completely out. She had the nerve to tell me she would get someone else to bring me one. Then she proceeded to scroll back thru her very important FB message. I’ve gone there a lot but that experience was my worst. Her projected attitude has caused me never to want to visit again. It’s such a shame. Management talk to her please.

So when I got thier for breakfast and they have discounts and we got thier at 10am and we finally got served at 10:45 and when we where paying they wouldn't give us the discount because it was already 11:30. So we ended up paying 40$ so worst place ever food also sucked

I just picked up “tortilla soup” from their drive thru and I’m not impressived. The charge is 7.99 plus tax and when I opened the cup, all of the ingredients the soup contained was chicken, water, 2 whole slices of avocado and melted cheese. Not one single veggie was included. I’m sorrry but if I’m paying over 8 dollars for a drive they soup, it better have at least tomatoes and onions in it. I’ve never made a soup at home with those simple yet basic ingredients. The taste is below mediocre. I will not be coming back.

Very bad service. Looks like waitress had her whole family in the restaurant and forgot about us. We were the only people at the restaurant and it took a long time for us to get our drinks and our food, waitress just came to give us the food and never came back again to ask if we were needing something else, we finished our drinks and were wanting to order other drinks but she never showed up at our table. We order tilapias and they were over cooked and fish was not fresh at all. Very bad food.

Menudo had very little hominy and meat mostly stew, al pastor was super salty, bread was super hard, enchiladas are not good, server was in a bad mood. Definitely not authentic mexican food, more like tex mex.

I was so excited to have Mexican on vacation. This was absolutely the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. I normally don’t even leave reviews but it was that bad. First off the food was awful. They do not have queso which was surprising but I was willing to look past that. The ground beef had potatoes in it and was really greasy. I could actually see a pool of grease on my food. The ground beef in my boyfriend’s tacos wasn’t even all the way cooked. Instead of giving us a fountain drink, we got canned drinks which I thought was odd but not a huge deal. The worst part was the service. I waited at LEAST 5 minutes if not longer for the cashier to get off her phone so I could pay. Keep in mind, she never brought my check. I had to go up there. I ended up having to ask her to check me out. I wasn’t rude at all so don’t go thinking that but I was highly aggravated by the time I left and ended up getting a small pizza from HEB because I could only stomach to eat a few bites of my food at this place.

I went to get tacos for the office. I gave the cashier my card and tipped. The full amount with tip was debited. Then 3 days later the tip was debited again and also another 7 days later. Then someone tried to send money to Mexico on my card. Don’t go here because they steal your credit card information

Bad service. First we got there and took them 30 minutes to acknowledge us then she finally bring the menus but never see her any more so we just left. If they were taking forever picking our order I didn’t want to imagine the wait for the food to come. And all the waitresses had a long face. If you don’t know how to multitask you are at the wrong place.
