Normally 151 Saloon is a country bar, but every Wednesday night it transforms into an awesome Latin night!! I went almost every Wednesday from August 2017 until March 2018, where they play Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue all night. There is no cover charge and you get a free dance lesson at 10pm. The DJ is great, the instructors are great, the dance floor is spacious enough to move around. If you're lucky, the photographer might take photos of you, too. ;) (who's a very skilled photographer by the way!). You don't need a partner to have a good time, either! I've been here once during their normal country nights. They had a live band that was ok, since they played mostly (what sounded like) "swing" rhythm country. Would recommend coming with a partner for country night. :)

Drinks are cheap wed and thurs. Lots of space and people are friendly. You have to stick to the same bartender though. So pick the one with the smallest line and closest to you.

This bar is great! I've been here three times now with absolutely no issues. The staff is great, music is spot on, and the prices are the best I've seen!

It was a great experience, the only complaint I have is that I was about to close my Tab and order a beer but my server Summer said she had already done so because she did not see me. Mind you it was 11:50pm and I had arrived at 9:30pm, she went on to say "she did not feel comfortable serving me so I could go to another bartender ". I was ordering for 2 other friends so, needless to say I was not intoxicated". This really diminished the great night I was having, and furthermore she was serving men that were stumbling and slurring their words. I'm dead lol. Great Job Summer!! 🤣

Not bad. Its a bar. Im not sure what all they do here, but the place was busy. We went on a Friday night and they had a live band singing country hits. It was a $5 cover charge. Me and the wife had a total of about 6 cocktails and the bill was $26. So I'd say it was either very reasonable or someone else paid for a few of our drinks. Be prepared when you go to the restroom. I was not. There is a nice gentleman in the mens restroom who keeps it clean, prepares the water for you so it's warm when you wash your hands, puts soap in your hands and hands you towels to dry your hands. Please tip the dude. When I go back, I plan to have some cash which I never carry on me. He was so nice.

This is an awesome honkytonk to hang out in. They’ve got a decent sized dancefloor, a TouchTunes jukebox, and live music on weekend evenings. The bands are usually local cover bands, but they cover the Texas regional Red Dirt style music, so I really dig that. They have a full bar with $2.50 wells and domestic beers until 8pm. The only downside is, they don’t have any beer on tap. Bottles and cans only. The beer selection isn’t huge, but they do carry a few Texas brewed regional beers. Plenty of seating on the inside, and PLENTY of more seating on the outside deck and patio. Sometimes they have food trucks outside, but other times, they only have someone inside the front door selling tacos, and quesadillas, etc. The soap dispenser in the bathroom doesn’t work, so you have to scoop your hand into it to get soap - um, no thanks. But that’s really the only issue I had - I’m adding this place to me “keepers” list. It was fun hanging out here!

The dart boards need to be moved. Right now they’re stuck up front near the busiest part of the bar — right by the entrance and patio access — and it’s just not working. Too much foot traffic, constant interruptions, and not enough space to actually enjoy a game. There’s a perfect spot in the back, across from the slot machines, that’s barely being used. It’s got room, power access, and could easily fit the current boards — plus two more if you wanted. It would give dart players a proper space, improve the flow up front, and balance out the game areas with pool in one section and darts in another. This change would make a big difference. Time to make it happen

I was removed from the bar based on video footage not voice footage between an inebriated woman who instigated an argument over a pool table. I was escorted out after being told that I argued back which was correct however I did nothing wrong,on the bright side I feel victorious because after standing up for our group despite my removal the woman was removed and folks got to play.

Called and verified they had the football game I wanted to watch. Arrived, bought drink and food, and it took 20 minutes to figure out they didn’t have the game they had previously promised me. Out both time and money. They have no sound guy, so be prepared to have your ears blown out by average musicians. Went when they had a special for an entire day, Thursday, (per their signage), but apparently the special stopped a hour earlier than advertised. This wasn’t communicated and I was charged full price. Buyer beware!
