It a very very nice bar thanks to everything there really. For One the owner is a really really sweet and cool person I really really admire her and thank her everyday in my and prayers because if it wasn't for her I would've never been able to start my self employed Boot and Show clean and shine business. That's because she was the very first person to let me clean and shine boots at her bar and she's so sweet she won't even charge me to do it there. Thanks to her I was able to expand and now am able to clean boots at multiple bars. This bar will always be my beginning and I will never forget it or it's people whom Ive known for years ever since I started clean boots about 10 to 11 years ago not everybody there is the same people but everybody there or really nice and good-hearted people it has a really really comfortable fun and nice vibe to it. I'd give it 10 stars if possible but I can't.

Saw Quinnertainment in a video on YouTube. Definitely an awesome DJ. The drinks were cold and delicious. The people were nice and fun to be around. Everyone who sang karaoke was having a blast. When I come to visit Texas again I'm going to The Steer!

ATTENTION KARAOKE SINGERS. This place is a Great place to be on a Thursday Night, starts at 9 ( wish it was a little sooner ) but Karaoke DJ, Eli ( big E ) is one of the best in S.A. This small little pub has friendly staff and a friendly group of people all around. The beer special on Thursday is $1.50 longnecks. Give it a try!!

I enjoy the karaoke night and the crowd is not a young crowd no drama at this establishment. They have 5 slot machines inside for entertainment. Also have drink specials.

This place has awesome mixed drinks right now but the KJ for tonight was not who I was expecting. I'll stick to going Fridays but not Saturdays unless the old KJ comes back which was "Chocolate Wasted".

They have no food there that I could tell other than maybe some snacks the atmosphere was if you're not a regular you won't get served as nice as the regulars that do go to the bar very often and the parking is atrocious also don't go there if you're allergic to cats because in the back smoking area they're a whole bunch of cats and kittens there and unless they close the door very quickly the cats will come inside the bar one of the people that was with my party is allergic to cats so we had to be very careful because a cat entered the bar

My family and an older family friend were thrown out after a miscommunication that she wanted her change back (intending to keep the coins and tip with the cash). Even if she tipped nothing, she didn't deserve to have her change thrown at her, and they definitely didn't have to throw her out hard enough to need an X-ray on her foot the next day. The family friend is 80-something years old and can barely walk up two steps with support, but they felt the need to throw him out too, either accidentally or intentionally choking him and making it harder for him to breathe. If they had a reason to remove her, they should have done it without hurting anyone, or they should have gotten the police involved. Don't go here if you don't want to encounter unnecessary escalation and violence

I had a good time there until I realized that I was charged 4 times. I had an open tab when I signed the receipt my balance was about $80 with the tip then 3 more charges showed up the next day for $25 each. That happen Friday and I have yet to be able to get ahold of anyone at this bar. Its not even worth dealing with having to call them over and over and then having to go through disputing the charges... hell no... Trust me there are like 50 other bars out there that wont do that to you and are better.
