Came in much later than normal. It's was amazing to see how enthusiastic and wonderful everyone was in the final moments of being open. Way to be amazing all the way to the buzzer.

The staff at this panda express are the hardest working panda express employees I've ever seen. Friendly, fast service. If they mess up, they'll make it right. They run the cleanest chain restaurant in Columbia Heights, hands down.

Hello! I just want to say that aside from the well-known, delicious food they cater, Panda Express at Columbia Heights will go beyond what you expect. Shout-out to the Manager Ms. Monica for accommodating my catering orders and really helping me out and going out of her way just to make it happen. I’ll definitely order here again! I do believe we need more person like Ms. Monica, who knows how to manage her staff well and how to accommodate customers with their needs even if sometimes it is beyond what the company can offer. If she can read this right now, I just want to say thank you, I appreciate you and your line of work! Continue to make people happy! 😊

The girl at the register was really great! They made a small mistake and she went above and beyond to fix it for me. This was at 930 on 7/13. People like her make customers want to come back!

Love the food. It's even worth the small extra amount for the Honey Walnut Shrimp. The Orange Chicken, Black Pepper chicken and Super Greens are also my favorites. I always look forward to Payday Panda Day!

The food here is as good as I've had from Panda Express. The service team is the highlight for me. They are always so busy, but they all meet the challenge with a smile and great attitude. It is hard to highlight one person, but Marie was so helpful the other night.

Very clean Panda Express! I was very happy to walk in as it felt like a vibrant and well run Panda Express! The team members were working diligently keeping the kitchen and front of house clean, while also looking like they all enjoyed each other's company! That really shows in the service as it's just a more positive atmosphere! I came in for the original orange chicken bowl, and nothing wrong with it. It's the classic orange chicken I've grown up knowing and LOVING!

Coming from Southern California where there are Panda Express in almost every street, this Panda Express is one of the best Pandas I ever been to. The staff are friendly and kind. You’ll greeted with smile and they actually care about you. 5 star experience here!

The place is huge, easily seats 500! It's also a very beautiful space. However, of any kind of performance is involving sound will need much attention as the ceiling is so high that the sound gets lost in the space before it can be fully heard and understood.

Lost one star because I thought the food could have come with some more salt - having said that, I’m definitely coming back. Everyone was super welcoming and nice. That takes effort on a Saturday evening. Thank you!

Instead, they made it as soon as they got the order and so I had to run over early and get it. I was annoyed because the food got cold sitting there and it wasn’t at the time I asked for. However, the food was still good and the value is there.

Good food - bad portions. I think it depends on the time of day you go, but i've been here around 12pm, 3pm, and 7pm - and it's always been the same. They skimp out on portions as if you aren't overpaying already for a plate of food. There's also a huge cleanliness issue with the tables and the refreshments area. Food is good! Just the portions and cleanliness needs to be resolved.

I had orange chicken, which was good. I also had black pepper chicken, that I didn't like so much. The employees are nice, warm and attentive. It gets a little crowded in the early afternoon, so go before or after lunch time if you can't wait.

Food was delicious as usual but our food order was messed up with missing items, ordered through Uber eats and when I rang the restaurant they said it wasn't their problem and declined any fault, very rude manager

The restaurant was clean but the food wasn't very hot and some looked like it had been sitting out a long time. But, the food was still tasty. Although with the new "super greens" side. The broccoli is not fresh it's from frozen :( The staff was friendly and quick.

The restaurant wants to present their image as charity then they should donate their profits. The price is very expensive for what we customers get.

I just called up the store to ask what comes with a bigger plate and why was I not receiving it the manager Antonio was very rude and disrespectful over the phone. He was yelling at me when I was trying to ask him questions rushing me off the phone. I would like to get in touch with someone above, to help and assist me. Your manager Antonio’s costumer service was horrible.

Panda Express at 14th st, Wash, DC used to be one of my favorite places to eat! However, not anymore! Sometimes, they try to serve you leftovers! You can tell because it looks dried out and when you ask for something fresh the food preparers get a nasty attitude! This one lady there has such a big fresh mouth! She was so disrespectful and the manager allowed her to disrespect me! I've been patronizing this Panda Express for 25 years however I won't be going back if I have to deal with big mouth and leftovers! I ordered the bigger plates for tonight, February 12, 2026, but to my surprise, my order wasn’t completed. The Kung Pao chicken is missing from the order, although it was listed as packed. I will not order there again.

WRNING!!! I would give it -5. Look at this mess i ordered orange chicken, beef and broccoli and honey shrimp. They only gave me 1 piece of beef all broccoli. 2 shrimp. And a portion of orange chicken. I wish I would've been mistery shopping this order.

This location is pretty cool on most days. But on the days that the Asia Lady is there who I’m assuming is the Manager is when I hate coming here. She always and I mean always Skimming your servings. I ask for beef and broccoli and she only put two peices of beef in there. You ask for some actual meat and she say it’ll be extra. I always feel Unsatisfied whenever she serving me. I’m no longer going to order if she’s in there. This is a way I’ve been feeling about her for years and yes she been doing it that long and I’m just tired of it. She makes me feel like I’m getting ripped off whenever she there.

Got a bigger plate and they just scraped the leftover veggies and barely any meat from one of the meat dishes and counted that as one of the entrees. Couldn't even wait for the fresh batch to add some meat nor fill up the space for it.

Like most places nowadays, they charge was too much for how small the servings are.

Rice aren't washed here, food aren't properly present,they are very messy and loud. Food usually under temperature. I wouldn't eat here. I used to eat there but not no more. I love my life than eating somewhere people don't care...

I had a very disappointing experience last night due to the behavior of a cashier named Desean. After waiting over 20 minutes for my order, I approached the counter to ask about the delay. To my surprise, Desean responded with extreme rudeness, saying, “You come inside and prepare your food yourself.” That kind of response is not only unprofessional, but completely unacceptable. Rather than apologizing for the delay or handling the situation with courtesy, he acted like an entitled owner who had no regard for customer service. There was no smile, no empathy, and definitely no apology. I honestly don’t understand how someone with that attitude was hired or trained for a customer-facing role. It left a really bad impression and made me question whether I’d return to this place again.

The lady working night shift answering phone don't want to own up to thier mistake and passed it to Doordash- no food just a 10-12 business day refund. What a joke. Why are you still working and serving people you can't even service? How did you survive 2018 to now with these irresponsible workers in you establishment? Do better or shut it down

It’s absolutely unacceptable. How long the line was in the restaurant this evening. Freddy was the manager on duty, and was sooo disrespectful to us. There was not a GM on site. The line was a complete mess. There was no FIFO, the lobby was dirty, no handwashing and very slow cashiers and line persons. Every time I asked for a leader? He claimed he was the GM and we know that’s a lie. There was so much food left on the counters because of a lack of communication to the line persons to keep up throughout and guest ticket times. The restaurant most certainly needs to be staffed better on a Friday night. It’s unacceptable and disappointing. We won’t be back

Un Professional stuff Phone never get picked up I had to call 6 time just to talk to them cause they cancelled my order and comforted it and cancelled it again I would stay away from ordering from their website or app they cancelled my order when it's time to deliver it Disappointing service !!!!
