I went during dead time 1p-3p, this was my first time at this Applebee's. The whole staff's customer service was great along with a smile and friendly as well. My server was Rayna very awesome and attentive. I'll check Happy Hour next time. I went during Happy hour a month later. Same great service.

I hadn't been to Applebee's in YEARS but my dad wanted a beer with his burger and you can't get that at In 'n' Out, so off my parents and I went! The whole experience was great, from being greeted at the door and seated promptly, to getting our drinks and order taken, then food delivered. Our server, Matt, remembered our order and was friendly and personable, sharing stories of growing up in the UAE. The chicken tortilla soup was delicious and I think my only suggestion for improvement would be to offer it in either a cup (as a side) or bowl (entree). Mom and I both had salads, which were delicious and HUGE, so we have our lunch tomorrow all set. Dad had a steak that was a little closer to medium well than the medium rare he requested, but it was good quality. He subbed onion rings for the broccoli side, and they were just the right crispiness and saltiness. All in all, a great experience!

The mashed potato with garlic was very tasty and the broccoli was just right And although we did not have the Oreo shake we had a delicious dessert cake filled with hot fudge and drizzled with fudge and with vanilla ice cream on the side very good. Enjoyed dinner last night with my family and the atmosphere was very pleasant. It was everyone’s favorite bar tender birthday and the staff/patrons sang and wished him a good one. Happy birthday again Mr bartender.

Great food! Had a much needed steak with garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, and four cheese Mac n cheese. Steak was great, mashed potatoes were light on the garlic but still very good, green beans were great, and the Mac n cheese was pretty good. Service was great; Rihoto was very polite and helpful. We were here around 2pm, so the atmosphere was about what you'd expect.

Went in during a quiet lunch afternoon. Was seated after a few minutes wait even though it was practically empty. Ordered Spinach Artichoke dip with a tomato bisque & French onion soup to start with while we decided on an entree. All appetizers took some time to come out but well worth it for the quality. Decided to split a southwest chicken bowl as our entree. Fresh ingredients with nothing appearing or tasting off. Glad we decided to stop by here than the fast food alternative nearby.

The staff was very friendly and prompt. We didn't have to wait on drink refills or our refills for the all you can eat wings. The prices were reasonable and overall our experience was fantastic. We will definitely be going back!

I waited for a really short time and got my order from Bailey. She was great! She was multitasking and being professional and in the midst of the chaos she was able to be polite to all the customers and make our time there short and sweet. Plus the food was great and the portions are so honest and great. Compliments to the chef and Bailey should get promoted if that’s possible. 👍🏽

We aren't regulars- just had a giftcard to use up. We were pleasantly surprised- particularly with the staff. Every employee was cheerful and attentive. Food came out quickly and orders were correct. When we had a question we were not made to feel like a burden and the young woman who served us preferred to inquire instead of just guess. Staff was friendly to each other and treated one another like friends/ family, and even made small talk with patrons who were clearly regulars. It was just an accumulation of small, wholesome things that reminded me of why eating out back in the 90's was fun and enjoyable. After having been treated like slop at a more local place whose standards are clearly starting to slip, this was very refreshing. Also- enjoyed the food. Beers are expensive for what they are, but I was not surprised- that is across the board when eating out.

As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted kindly by the host and seated immediately! The management and our server Patrick, were phenomenal. I really enjoyed my experience at this location. And the food was 10/10 with GREAT happy hour prices!!

This Applebee’s has created some wonderful memories and has very timely service even though it can get really crowded from time to time. Will is one of the best bartenders in all of San Diego. Kitchen has gotten mostly everything my groups or myself ordered on point and really just above the standards for an American chain restaurant. 10/10 recommend

Unfortunately, we were seated next to a table that was not speaking English, so that annoyed me. There were plenty of tables that we could have been seated at. Our waiter was great and his name is Jimmy. Want to make this clear that Jimmy was not the person who sat us at that table.

Stopped by this location for lunch while in town. We each got a variety of dishes and everything we tried was excellent. Also had an excellent waiter. If you're in the area looking for something good and can't make a decision you won't go wrong with this Applebee's.

Ordered the big clucking chicken sandwich and the bacon cheese burger both were $10 menu items. They were great. I picked them up curbside and the curbside service I received from Tina was superb. Before I even turned on my app to let them know that I had arrived. Tina came out greeted me and brought my food out. Very friendly and great service. Would highly recommend for both food and service.

Just went here and had a great time. The food was good and was served in a timely manner. But most importantly, our server Kim was amazing. Refilled drinks at the exact right times and brought new food (had the endless chicken/riblets/shrimp meal) within a timely manner as well. Overall, an amazing and attentive waitress, she definitely deserves a bonus of some sort. Will be coming again in the future :)

We probably go to Applebee's to maybe three times a year but we didn't go for a while because our previous experience was not great but this last week we decided to go again there's a group of six of us. We were taken care of by the staff member that went by the name "Flash". His service was outstanding. He was on point with the order, with time, and definitely understood giving excellent customer service. So thank you for the comeback service that helped us decide we will return again.

My second visit to Apple Bees and satisfied again. We sat at the bar and was served by the greatest bartender on earth! He was also there on my first visit months ago, so I'm not telling lies here. Lol I ordered the Grilled cheese Cheeseburger with tatter tots and tomato soup. Man!! The grilled cheese Cheeseburger was delish. It was juicy. The meat was cooked perfectly. The tomato soup was delicious as well. It felt like a warm hug. I have not had tater tots in a very long time and they did not disappoint. I went there for some fun at an all-you-can-eat, and to my surprise, the food was really good. The shrimps were impressively large for a buffet, with a satisfying crunch and delicious taste. The riblets and chicken were also tasty.

So we had not gone to an Applebees in a very long time. But early last week we decided to stop by this one. We were like shocked at how great the staff were, how good the food was and we were craving it so much we came back again tonight (5 days later). Again, staff were so nice and helpful. The place is clean and again the food quality was great!! Rihito was our server both times and he was wonderful. We both worked in the serving industry for years and this is the first time in a long time that we left this satisfied and excited to come back. So thanks to them for that. Side note their HH is great, we are addicted to the chicken wonton tacos.. the spinach dip stayed piping hot almost the whole time we were at the table.. Pretzels were hot, soft and delicious.. and I LOVE the honey pepper flavored boneless chicken. So check them out and we hope you love your experience as much as we did! :)

I haven't been to applebee's in over twenty-five years. Went back for the endless boneless chicken wings and french fries. It's such a great deal for only thirteen dollars. They had buffalo comma honey pepper comma parmesan cheese comma barbecue and asian. Every single one was really unique and kept your taste buds fireing. We also got the molten lava cake to wash all the french fries and chicken down. All that for forty five dollars after tip can't beat it. We probably had about four orders of french fries and forty chicken pieces. The deal only goes until September 15th of 2023 so you can make it in time. I would go for it.

Came in for lunch on Sunday after Church. Our food was delicious and they offered a happy hour half-off the appetizer and drinks. Our meal portion was huge. I always enjoy dining at Applebee's Grill. For starters, we had the Spinach and Artichoke dip. It was very good. That went away very quick. For the main course, we had the Double-glazed Baby Back Ribs with fries and the Fiesta Lime Chicken with Spanish Rice. The baby back ribs was very good. The bbq was quite a blend with herbs and spices. The fries was excellent, nice crisp on the outside, salted lightly. The lime chicken was cook perfectly, and seasoned well. The spanish rice on the other hand was completely the opposite. It was very dry and hard to chew. I told the waiter about the dry Spanish rice but he just apologized and not even offer to a fresh rice for me. Also, while waiting for our orders, I've noticed scattered trash on the floor. It was quite a sore eyes. I repeatedly asked couple waiters to clean up but no one did till the 3rd waiter. Now i can enjoy my eating food . The staff were friendly. The portion were fine. Plenty of parking. I would suggest to get there early for lunch or dinner. This place get busy quite a bit. I will eat here again. Good eats.

Wasn't too bad. Me and a couple buddies went in got seated had friendly service. It was pretty quick. The prices are iffy but good food. No one of the 6 had an issue to report. That whiskey burger was fantastic! Loved it!

Service was good. Could have been a lot nicer experience if the staff were at least a little happy or joyful. They did everything one might expect, but the general mood and average face made me think somebody's dog must have died. Remember, guys n ladies, you guys are selling an experience, as well as a meal. A night out should be better than staying home. Smile and act like you care until your shift is over.

Two of us had the daily lunch special that on Friday is $9.99 for a chicken and bacon sandwich with fries. I don't eat meat so there wasn't much choice. I had the Caesar salad. Would return with the same people.

As soon as we were sat down, we had a server ask us what we’d like to drink. Being we were sat in front of a large TV playing my Texas Longhorns, we each ordered a Passion Fruit Mai Tai to celebrate great football. We ordered the 2 for $26-$28 deal and were not disappointed at all. Mom loved her Classic Cheeseburger and I was all over that Sirloin Steak with perfectly seasoned mashed potatoes and broccoli. Although I wanted my steak medium well with some pink , but not bloody in the middle— or better said, “Dead, not still dying”, I received it well done. It was still tender and enjoyable. I chose to not return it. I just don’t do that. It was good, but not as good as it would have been had it been pink and juicy. Oh well, maybe next time? This is why 4 stars and not five. Our server, Arianna, was attentive and very helpful when needed. She answered some of our curious questions and remembered to bring us extra napkins. This establishment was very inviting and worthy of returning to when we are in the area again. Hopefully if I order steak again, pink means pink.

Came here for the first time on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch and it was great experience, not too busy. It’s located next to a gym so parking can be congested. Our waitress was amazing, she did everything almost perfectly from getting our food to us pretty fast to checking-in if we needed anything every now and then. The food was just as good if not perfect as well. The restroom is one of the cleanest of all the Applebees I’ve been to as well! Only complaint I have is that this is the first Applebees I’ve ever been to that doesn’t give a Military discount if you get any of their menu “specials.” And I’ve been to a lot as it is one of our favorite chains, so it was pretty odd. Great food just takes a long time before they bring it out, I was their for about an hour and 40 minutes. Most of the time we were there it was just waiting for the food. The waiter would take a long time to bring things out for example we asked for a to go box at the end and the waiter took 15 minutes. He also took a while during the food we asked for ranch, and he took so long a different waiter brought ranch and than after he brought ranch about 10 minutes after the other waiter had brought it. My food had hair in it as well but it’s a small mistake overall the food was great, but the service isn’t good.

The fries had an awful amount of salt rendering them unable to be eaten. And this was the case for all 3 dishes we ordered, and all were different items. The server almost seemed annoyed at the fact we were there. We were constantly looking out to ask for drink refills, and anything else. And what the hell is the point of the little kiosks on the table if they don't work! Seems like the beginning of the end for the chain.

Very understaffed on my most recent visit. Really made a big difference to thd whole experience. Four groups of us waited over 20 minutes at 4pm,to be seated. The staff that were there were very friendly and tried their best to keep up. I had the salmon and to the kitchen's credit, it was very tasty. Overall not a bad experience, but clearly they need to figure out their staffing.

Went for the first time in years because we had a gift card. The food was mediocre, the drinks weak, the restroom was dirty. No, it was foul. A sure sign of its cleanliness was the flies bumbling around the window seals. Our hostess, Tina was very polite and friendly. I would rate her higher if I could. I can’t even remember the last time I dined in at an Apple Bee’s. Came here because it’s been on my mom’s bucket list and we were shopping at H Mart afterwards. I would say this chain is still great for sports, drinks, bar food, family and friends gathering. Their food is not the best quality but still decent and have a great time with drinks. The sampler is always the best choice to have a little bit of everything. My favorite has always been the spinach artichoke dip with their thin crispy chips. The quesadilla was good, boneless wings not so much. It was like starchy and really sweet. Can’t go wrong with crispy mozzarella sticks. We also got fish and chips and shrimp fettuccine. Both are not the best and I’ve had better. The fish batter was burnt and the fish was too thick with no flavor. You could tell by the color that the oil was not fresh. My pasta tasted like store bought suave but the shrimp was blackened to perfection and great salt and pepper flavor. The bread stick was seemed old because it was chewy. Overall, I think their appetizers and drinks are the way to go. Expect to have a long wait. We had two parties ahead of us and waited 20 minutes. They had lots of empty tables but only had two servers running around and one hostess.

This is my first visit since the Covid 19 pandemic. Todays visit could be used as a teaching moment regarding service delivery. Upon our arrival, we were immediately greeted and sat at our table. Our server came in short order and took our order for drinks. From here everything went down, product/service delivery fell apart. The drinks were wrong, our appetizers were SUPER LATE, my cheeseburger, HAD NO CHEESE!! The server had several missteps and failed opportunities. She was a very nice and polite young woman. That said, Its reasonable for a guest to expect the server to be his/her advocate to the kitchen. Its also reasonable to expect an experienced server to be able to recognize the color difference between Pepsi Cola and Iced Tea. Don't get me wrong. While I was especially disappointed, the server made a genuine and sincere effort to recover from these missteps. The manager also did the right thing by picking up our check and took immediate ownership of the errors. What makes me shake my head at all of this is that there were only 2 or 3 tables with guests needing service. Id give a little more slack if the restaurant was busy..... But it wasn't! That fact just added insult to injury.

The service in this location was pretty bad. On a sunday it took the waitress about 35 min to just acknowledge that we sat down and didn't even check up once during the whole time we were there. Didn't even ask us once if we wanted refills or to see how the food was. She didn't bring us our food as someone else did that or our drinks. Food was good though. Honestly I understand if a waitress or waiter is busy as I have worked in resturants myself... the proper way to address the new people when they sit down is to say somethiing as "I am a bit busy, but I'll be with you in a bit." And you check up on them during their meal to make sure they have water or want to order anything else. You do not ignore them and expect them to leave you a tip.

On Monday I went to eat a beef burger with bacon, the service was very bad, we ordered ranch 3 times they never gave it to us, the sorry person who served us was the bar tender gave us terrible service with a very bad attitude, the burger I ordered made me intoxicated. I keep trying to give this location a chance. Every time they have failed me. This last visit was the worst out of all the others. I was seated quickly, not a problem there. However, I waited 10 minutes before being served. Ordered a drink and appetizer. Didnt get my drink and the bartender had to bring my drink because my waiter completely forgot & was too focused making sure the big table was waited on though I was seated WAY before them. I am an amazing tipper but no one deserved a tip tonight. Customer service, compassion and consideration is lacking at this location. I would have been fired when I was a waitress for providing this type of service. Oh well, I guess they were having a bad day. 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️

I ordered food online. A full plate of ribs with 2 sides. Mashed potatoes came in a 6 oz. Cup. A good serving. My second side of coleslaw was in a 1/2 oz. Cup you would serve hot sauce in. Very disappointed that a company who charges a lot more than everyone else for delivery, would under serve people for their prices.The food was ok at best delivered cold. For the prices Applebee's charges you would think 🤔 that they would make sure their customers were very happy. I have ordered the same dinner in person at the restaurant and have always been satisfied, which makes me believe you take advantage of those who pay more and order online. Very sad 😔.

I had came here with my boyfriend when it rained and the storm and flooding happened I decided to come get some food . They had a deal for all you can eat for 14.99 and all the options I received which were Riblets and boneless wings. It was SO GROSS and a WASTE OF MONEY!!!!! Never again will I come there all the items were burnt and hard and not tasty at all the only thing I enjoyed was my drink and fries!

We orderd some onion rings right off. They weren’t too bad. I had fish and chips and my wife had a chicken bacon sandwich of some kind. The fries weren’t too bad and the chicken and fish portions were OK. However, the fish was mushy without texture. You couldn’t find any flakes anywhere. The chicken sandwich looked great, but it was dry and stringy. The menu prices weren’t too bad, but I end up paying over 70 bucks for a very poor meal. I will never go back.

You guys need a new hostess, we went last night and the hostess told us it would be a 30 minute for us to be seated. We questioned why as there were 4-5 open tables that apparently needed to be “cleaned”. There wasnt a single thing on those tables and the other workers wern’t doing anything. 30 min just to clean a table?? C’mon guys

I love love APPLEBEES, I even sing the Kevin hart songs before I go or on the way, however this location is always missing food, then can't find my order, or it's made wrong, call the store no manager is ever working or returning calls, still waiting for a remake, or gift card for the mess they make, do urself a favor, go somewhere else, outback steakhouse is close and great food and staff and prices

Don’t order from them!!! Ordered from the APP and this was the worst experience ever! Cutting out apple bees period after this one. Horrible customer service…I am too angry to even explain and hungry because I never received my food, due to a lazy manager who couldn’t help me out or work with the delivery company to make sure my order got to me after not being delivered the first time! DoorDash called like 6 times and she wouldn’t work with them to resolve the issue! I’m talking 3 hours of going back and forth!! Claimed she didn’t know how to work the system, told DoorDash the internet was down (but worked fine when I called)…and I’m going to bed hungry. I have had to get an order redelivered through DoorDash after ordering off the Panera app once..and I know for a fact they had to request something on their end in order for a new driver to pick up the order. She refused to try. She didn’t even bother asking them for instructions on what they were telling her to do to complete my order, and she pulled the card that the Internet wasn’t working. Beyond angry, don’t even bother with another excuse I’ve had enough from you guys ha.

Ordered the the upgraded 8 oz. Steak...... But couldn't eat it. Due to a very long black hair hanging off of it. Ordered it medium rare. And it came to the table well done. Paid a lot of money for food I couldn't even eat.

Where do I start? Every time I come here it is to-go. For the first time, we went to sit down, expecting a decent night out. What we ended up getting was a salad absolutely BATHED in dressing and even my husband who normally would just quietly deal with it, was blown away by the dressing. His broccoli was undercooked, too…like almost raw. We waited 25 minutes and when the waiter never came back after dropping off the food, even though we made eye contact with him multiple times, I finally went to the bar to get steak sauce for my husband, and about five more minutes went by before I finally asked the hostess if there was a manager on duty. I noticed the hostess picking up a lot of the slack of the waiter. I saw about three different people asking her for sauces and things that shouldn’t be her responsibility. She ended up taking my salad Instead of asking me, if I even wanted it, she just took it back assuming I wanted to wait another 20 minutes while my husband was finished before I was even able to send it back. I wanted a refund, to be honest but I dealt with it because I didn’t want to escalate it. When I went to the manager, she gave me attitude immediately, even though I was being overly nice about it. I was laughing about it and joking with my husband, he was getting very irritated (and usually he’s the chill, “let’s just be cool and deal with it” one) and for him to get mad is saying a lot After realizing she was going to remake and not ask if I wanted it after all that… I went and asked the manager for the sauce on the side, she very rudely said “YA I know.” Then about five minutes later, I brought my tea that had been empty at the edge of the table since the food came; over for her to switch it out because again the waiter was missing still, In fact, he walked right past us when I tried to get his attention and completely avoided us again. She again, rudely said ok and got it, then made the waiter drop it off which was awkward. This is probably the 4th time I’ve had an experience with this manager and every single time she seems unhappy at the world. I’m surprised she is still there because it’s always like this. My husband tipped a minimal amount on the card to the waiter, but he definitely still tipped. I ended up tipping a couple people who helped us get sauces and sugar that didn’t need to. All in all we tipped 30% which is funny because that’s possibly why the waiter never came he maybe thought we weren’t tippers cause my husband was in his work boots and we have a lot of tattoos (and yes this is absolutely a THING). 😂 boy is he wrong. I love tipping 50-100% (and I’ve tipped much more because I worked at a bar for 16 years) when I get awesome service and 25-30% when it’s just average. Even with this atrocious service I tipped the people who didn’t even wait on us. lol. Even if he’s new or he’s just slower, I wouldn’t have minded if he just checked on us once or twice instead of avoiding us. OR Even apologizing would have changed everything To the evening manager with the dark short hair (she’s about 5’2 maybe?) , maybe next time don’t get rude with customers who are doing nothing wrong. Coach your staff instead, and don’t be rude to people. Super duper simple ☺️

Joined our friends here. The place was not busy at all. Took 15 minutes to get a coke. Took an hour to get our food. Chicken was raw in the middle. I cannot recommend coming here. The manager did her best to make it up to us, but just wanted to leave. Still took a long time just to close out.
