Orders come out fast, and the young staff is super sweet. They take their time letting you try samples. They’re always playing good R&B hits. If you give them an ID, you can play board games-UNO is our go-to every time. My favorite order- mango sticky rice, 50% sweet/ more ice/no boba. Snow Jasmine milk tea/ less ice/ w boba. You’ll also notice a lot of people working on their laptops, so it’s a nice place to hang out or get some work done. Parking can be a little hectic, but you’ll eventually find a spot. Bonus: they’re open late.

Love this place so much! We love dark phoenix the most! Mango sticky rice so special! Salt strawberry is nice!! Dargon well tea taste so good! Wanted to try out every flavor!! Will definitely comeback soon!

This place is a good boba spot! Ambiance is nice and staff members are friendly and welcoming. There is this one worker named Kurumi who was super sweet and kind. I got three drinks and my favorite one is their mango sticky rice drink it is so good!

Tried the Monkey Milk Tea and loved the customization! 25% sweetness is clean and light, while 50% sweetness is much richer and deeper in flavor. Great tea quality. Highly recommend!

if you like more (green) tea in your boba milk tea, try Dragon Well (50% sugar + boba). this is the best I have had. once or twice+ per week i use my lunch time at work to go here to get boba 🤤 cheers 🥂

You can smell the tea when you walk in! My kids and their friends love this place- great alternative to other boba places filled with sugar you can barely taste the tea. I’m picky with my tea abs I also go to this place now.

Yun Tea is the kind of place you keep coming back to because the quality is consistent and the drinks actually taste like real tea — not just sugar and syrup. Highly recommend if you love good boba and well-made drinks.

Wow! I stayed in San Diego for three days, and I made it my mission to try as much of their drinks as I could—it was just that good. I tried their top 4 drinks, which all tasted absolutely amazing. Such strong & unique flavors. Service was also great. Drinks came out quick despite the place being pretty packed.

I visited 2 times. Saw it as a recommendation from a instagram video. It is a viral place because both times I was waiting. The first time there was only one girl making the tea and taking orders, but second time there were more employees and still it took approx 15-20 min. I liked the tea. I was unsure the first time and the girl gave me samples of what I liked as description. The second time the refrigerator was not working so no samples but I risked to try new tea. It’s good. Not overpriced. The atmosphere is nice.

Parking may be slight challenge depending on when u come. Cute aesthetic place to vibe and chill. I see people doing work on their laptops here so they got WiFi and apparently they have board games. Line wasn’t too long and moved quick. They have tea scented perfumes each for $25 and smell so good. Once u get to the front to order you can sample their teas! We got the dark phoenix and emperors red robe. Both are light in flavor. Very quick service. Thanks to Christina, Livian, Cheyenne, and Kurumi!

I’ve only ever ordered their mango sticky rice icy and I’ve had it many times. I still haven’t been able to move on to anything else because it’s just that good. I get it with light ice and 50% sugar, and it’s absolutely perfect, ultra creamy and honestly tastes like heaven. I’ve been here only during weekends. The place is almost always crowded, and parking situation can be bad during busy times, but if you order on your phone once you arrive, the wait is much shorter than standing in line. Totally worth it though.

Beautiful new spot, very packed with customers studying inside/hanging out. I don't tend to like sweeter drinks but I got the Match Made In Heaven(icy) and it was absolutely delicious!! I got it with boba but I honestly think I would be better without it it, definitely did not ruin it!! It was more of a slushy and it was hard to mix but the cream had was very sweet, should have gone with 25% sweetness but I chose 50%. Would be back! Match Made In Heaven(icy) 10/10

Another boba tea invasion from China has landed in Kearny Mesa — Yun Tea House — and it’s definitely creating a buzz. We stopped by while visiting our son over the weekend, and the place was absolutely packed with long lines that didn’t seem to scare anyone off. I went with their most popular drink, the Dark Phoenix Tea with boba, and it was fantastic — fragrant, smooth, and well-balanced in flavor. My wife tried the Sticky Rice Tea, which had a unique and pleasant taste you don’t often find elsewhere. The interior is modern and Instagram-worthy, with “clouds” floating on the ceiling and water features on the tables that add a fun, dreamy vibe. Even with the crowd, the staff moved things along quickly and efficiently, which made the wait totally worth it. Great drinks, great atmosphere — definitely one of the better new tea spots in town.

What a wonderful visit! The boba here is hands-down some of the best I’ve ever had. Wendi went above and beyond, and Michael and Alice were equally kind and generous baristas. Wendi gave us so many samples to try and really made us feel welcome. The shop itself is beautiful, bright, relaxing, and just a great place to hang out. Every tea we tasted was flavorful and perfectly made. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area! We can’t wait to come back!

First time here and had an amazing experience. The baristas (Elijah, Irene, & Tori) were great and attentive. They let you try whatever they have already made, which made the decision process easier to figure out what I would like to try for my first drink from here. After a handful of samples, I went with their top drink (Dark Phoenix) and I love how strong the tea flavor is. Would love to enjoy more of their other drinks in the future. It’s such a cute place. Whenever I’m in the area, would definitely come back!

I had a bit of a mixed experience here. Here is the breakdown: • The Drinks: The highlights are definitely the beverages. The drink quality is great and tastes good—clearly the strongest part of the visit. • Cleanliness: This is where the experience fell short. The restroom was quite dirty. has no toilet paper and I noticed several other areas of the shop that weren't being kept up well. Some spots definitely needed a deep clean. Overall: Come here for a solid drink to-go, but the seating area and facilities could use much more attention from the staff.
