Tip: Matcho is a must-try flavor. If you order dark meat like thighs, the chicken is especially juicy. Be prepared to wait if you order bburing thighs.

Beyond expectations. Chicken was fresh and delicious. Rice bowl is a solid choice and their special was a great flavor as well. Definitely recommend!
Must visit when I heard a new Korean fried chicken restaurant is in town! Bright and clear restaurant with simple decorations. Service: excellent. Very helpful server in explaining their fried chicken with vast choices of sauces. One can sit down and order or go up to the counter. Fried chicken: yummy! The batter of my lunch leftover chicken remained crispy even after 4 hours! Ordered hot fried drumsticks. Meat cooked just right and juicy. The spicy taste would slowly kick in. Loved it! Kimchi cheese fried rice: tasty. Cheese balls: must get! Will return!!!
BHC offers both quick to-go services like a fast food spot and table service for a more relaxed dine-in experience. We tried the drumsticks, opting for the classic and Gold King flavors. The classic drumsticks were perfectly crispy, especially with the dipping sauce, while the Gold King drumsticks were juicy, covered in a delicious blend of honey and garlic. Both options were absolutely worth it! We also ordered the kimchi fried rice and the cheese ball. The Kimichi fried rice is good with the over-easy egg and the chopped seaweeds. While I enjoyed the cheese ball, I preferred the cheese twist as its sweetness and creaminess were more satisfying. The signature chicken burger was a standout—featuring a large, juicy chicken breast that hit the spot. The classic sandwich was a bit of a letdown compared to the rest of the menu. The bread wasn’t as crispy as I expected, and the chicken pieces were small chunks of fried thigh meat—not as satisfying as the burger. They play sports games on TV at night, which adds to the lively atmosphere. Overall, it's a great place for a fried chicken fix.
Finally some new lunch places to try at this business park mall. We always look forward to more food places close to work. I only grabbed a quick lunch and love the Kim Chee Fried Rice with the over and easy fried egg. Delicious and flavorable. I will definitely come back to test out that fried chicken next time. Price Point: Normal as everyone else. Casual Outlet.
I waited 15 minutes for my bburing thighs but they were cooked to order and tasted fresh when i got mine so id say it’s worth the wait. Absolutely spectacular fried chicken that’s juicy especially if you order dark meat like thighs. If you don’t like to wait for your chicken then id suggest you go elsewhere.
Omg. Amazing food. Fantastic service. Great flavors that are unique to BHC. Tastes just like the ones in Korea. The new red king flavor is perfectly balanced sweet and spicy. Owner is very nice and dedicated. Only change I’d say is to add a combo or whole chicken option to the menu.
Go-to dinner place for me and my college friends It’s so good, no other place has better Korean chicken than here. All the workers are so nice expecially Kai. Great server and very good experience. I swear you wouldn’t regret coming here I recommend matcho king and bburinlke. They taste the best together!!
BHC has finally arrived at San Diego!! They have really good Korean fried chicken which tasted THE SAME as those I had in Korea!! Came in for lunch and got their BHC platter for $39.99+ tax. Platter includes: - 8 chicken wings (choice of flavor) ⭐️Matcho is a MUST TRY! - 5 regular cheese balls 💛 - Fries - Stir-spicy rice cake (fish cakes + rice cakes + 2 sausages + 0.5 hard boiled egg) (choice of flavor) - Choice of soda This is more than enough for 2 people and you gotta try all their customers’ fav from this platter! Totally worth it a try!!👍🏻
This place is AMAZING! As someone that doesn't even like fried chicken and I'm not a big fan of Korean food, this chicken was AMAZING. They have this one sweet and sour like chicken and this one very powdery cheese one that were amazing and they have these different cheese and bread dishes that were great too. I tried a whole bunch of items and all of them were amazing. Staff were also very friendly.
After trying all the Korean fried chicken in San Diego, this is one of the best. The size of the chicken is huge! Very flavorful with lots of meat for a great price. The service here is also very good. Staff is attentive and friendly to customers. Will definitely visit again!
The food was great, and owner is such a great person! We enjoyed everything but especially cheese balls. Tastes exactly same what I have eaten back in Korea. One thing is that I tasted cherry on the Diet Coke. Think the syrup flavor for the fountain drink mixed?
It was quite busy on a Friday night at 730 but the servers were nice and stopped by to ask if we needed anything. Chicken was crispy and tasty. Tteokboki was delicious and not crazy spicy. Cheese balls were different than I expected but it was very good!

The signature sandwich was massive and a much better value than places nearby.

I had a great experience at this place. I thought I got my order wrong and reached out to them. The owner John personally reached out to me to explain the process of cooking that particular item and also assured me a full order replacement if I was in the area. Last night I happen to be in the area and gave them a call to which they honored my replacement. Food was incredibly delicious and so was the hospitality. Highly recommend it.

tried the red king wings and they were good, though can’t order 4, just 8 pieces. though a little too saucy for me after the 3rd wing. i probably should have tried the dryer options. sandwich was good as well as the cutlets.
Great Korean fried chicken spot right next to the Sorrento Food Court. I’ve visited twice, the classic fried tenders were perfectly cooked and super crispy. The sweet and spicy chicken was also delicious.
The server was extremely nice and helpful. The chicken was really crunchy and big, but also really oily, but that's to be expected, it is deep fried afterall. The flavor of the original chicken was really good. We also got tteokbokki and it was soft and the flavor was sweet. The cheese balls were a good size as well. The kimchi fried rice is also oily but I think that is expected, it is fried. Overall I think the flavor of the food was good. I specially want to highlight our beautiful server for being such a lovely person.

I love this place. The food was so good and the prices were fantastic especially for the serving sizes. The chicken tenders were delicious and I loved the sweet and spicy dipping sauce. Both of the chicken sandwiches were amazing too! There were so many good flavors happening. The Classic Chicken Sandwich was probably my favorite because I love something with a bit of spice. Everything just really hit the spot, I’m so happy I tried them!

Every time my wife said she wanted KFC in the past, I would only think of the American chain, but now I can only think of Korean Fried Chicken, because it's superior in every way, if done correctly. This small restaurant is located in a small shopping center near the planet fitness gym off Mira Mesa Blvd and the 805, all the way in the corner. It's located next to the barely alive food court and there is plenty of parking. It's pretty casual and you can order take out, but you can also dine and they will take your order and minimally wait on you. We tried the tenders and two of the popular boneless wing flavors. The tenders were spicy, juicy, crispy and tender! The first order of boneless wings was soggy and the second order was a mix of crispy and soggy. Flavor wise, I'd say the sauces were just ok, not awe inspiring or bold in any way. The chicken sandwiches were huge! The bread had a cheese crust and was a little crispy at the corners. The bread is way too dense though and the chicken was soggy even though we ate them immediately in the restaurant. As far as value is concerned, this place is expensive at a little over $2 per wing. The chicken sandwich is pretty big for $10 but it could be done better. If we're desperate for KFC after a workout at the gym, we may consider coming back, but there are better spots a few miles away on Convoy.
The first impression is meh. Ordered: matcho king 3 pieces drumsticks, hot bburinkle 3 drumsticks, gold king 8 pcs thighs, n bburing cheese balls. Total = $53. Take-out. Pro: Hot bburinkle flavor is super spicy, cheesy n delicious. Neutral: Gold king is like soy honey garlic, and matcho King is similar to salty galbi flavor. Both flavors are alright and similar to other kfc. There is a yogurt sauce, and it tasted sweet. We initially thought it was dessert like some sort of cream. Con: Thigh pieces are small. Drumsticks are butterflied, exposing the bone. Doesn't this lose the juice? The chickens weren't crispy either, especially the sauced ones. The filling of bburing cheese balls has a bit of mozzarella n flour, giving it a weird texture. Cheese is definitely sweet. Crunchy mochi balls, though. Overall, I would go to other spots for kfc, like bb.q, which is a block down, or bonchon for better quality at the same price point.
Got the classic sandwich. Mediocre fried chicken - it was lacking something and unfortunately the Dutch crunch was not crunchy but rather stale. The slaw was also ok and it wasn't as spicy as expected. Staff was nice, but would probably try some of the other Korean dishes if I went again.

Where did it all go wrong?! I don’t even know how to describe what we ate. I don’t even know how you get that texture on fried chicken. Basically, instead of being hard and crispy our fried chicken was gelatinous and limp. Maybe it was frozen and then fried? Or raw? I couldn’t even pull the meat from the bone. Honestly this was one of the most disappointing and disgusting dining experiences I’ve had. There needs to be better quality control/assurance. I would have taken a video but we literally through it out in disgust.
