Great delivery to the intercontinental today! They apologized for not getting it to my door and left w the front desk. I had to step out to handle my intoxicated wife at the pool. A+ service.
Brooke who delivered my order was the best! Most delivery people are always in a mood or not very kind and she had such a great attitude. Bless her and hope she gets promoted!
Great pizza fast. Easy to pick up. Always has deals. You have to get it delivered or go in to get it tho, they won't bring it out to the car like it says you'll be sitting there forever.
Super tasty Mexican brunch place. Heavy focus on chilaquiles - not really much choice otherwise. Flavors are very authentic, and food is cooked well and comes out fast despite how busy the place is. We particularly loved the appetizer sampler platter (I know, of all things - just give it a try and you'll see). Great kids menu with a large variety of fun options like spiced chocolate milk with chocolate covered marshmallow lollipops. Service is not bad, again, given how busy the place is, although it can feel understaffed at times. This place has always been packed when we've gone. Clearly a local favorite. Highly recommend making a reservation, otherwise expect to wait in line (possibly for a long time).
This was my first time trying Cocina 35. I have seen this restaurant with huge lines before which have turned me off but this time I decided to give it a try. I wish I would have tried this place sooner as I didn't realize how quickly this establishment attends its guest which allows the line outside to move very quickly. The food was absolutely delicious. We tried the chilaquiles with carne asada and the agua de jamaica was delicious as well. All the servers were very welcoming and very attentive. I will definitely be returning.
This waterfront restaurant on the shores of San Diego Bay is a standout in the city’s dining scene. The menu seamlessly fuses authentic Mexican flavors with a refined, gourmet presentation, creating dishes that are both familiar and elevated. Each plate showcases fresh, well-balanced ingredients prepared with precision. Service is warm, attentive, and well-paced, adding to the overall excellence without feeling overbearing. The setting is simply beautiful—offering stunning bay views that perfectly complement the experience. Prices are moderate and entirely reasonable given the quality of the cuisine, service, and location. A must-visit for those seeking exceptional food in a truly picturesque setting.
This restaurant usually have long waits, we were lucky to go on a weekday and it was not busy at around 10am. The service was good but a little slow for my preference. She was very nice though and explained all the dishes we had questions on. Food tasted delicious and it didn’t take that long, maybe because they were not that busy. The concept of this restaurant is good, a little small but still aesthetically appealing. There’s only one bathroom but it was very clean! Parking is in front of the restaurant I believe and it’s $15 or $20 to park unless you find street parking or public parking. I would definitely be going back!
I found this place on my open table app. It looked amazing. One thing is for sure, make sure to make a reservation. I made a 11:00am and that place is busy. If you cannot find street parking, there is a $3.00 underground parking lot or across a street. I am unsure how much it is since we were lucky find parking. Inside of the restaurant is beautiful. I love the atmosphere. The food is delicious. Everything there is a 10 star+. We took dessert to go but I am sure it's fabulous. If you want to take a drive to San Diego and looking for a good brunch place. This is it. Oh and the service is amazing. We had Karla and she took good care of us.
This little Mexican brunch spot is a must try! You're greeted with an inviting display of premade plates, giving you a sneak peek at what’s on the menu—perfect for deciding what looks most delicious before you order at the counter. The chilaquiles here are a standout! Crispy tortilla chips smothered in flavorful sauce, topped with the perfect balance of cheese, crema, and fresh toppings. Each bite is just as good as the last, making it easy to see why they’re known for this dish. Before ordering, they give you a table number, and your food is brought right to you. The laid-back setup and cozy atmosphere make it an ideal spot to enjoy a relaxed, flavorful brunch. If you're craving authentic Mexican flavors and casual vibes, this place should definitely be on your list.
Wow. What an experience. The best chilaquiles I ever had. The “Bomba” habanero-cilantro sauce is the best. Not as spicy as imagined based on the “two pepper” icon. Theresa made us feel like family; gave us a tour of the menu and check in on us frequently. I will fly to San Diego just to eat here.
Excellent food, It was a really satisfying and delicious Authentic Mexican breakfast taste.! My wife, my son, my daughter and myself were really satisfied. I got the Omelette with Habanero sauce which it was something different and really tasty. My kids god the Pancho Pantera chocolate which tasted just like the one from Mexico and brought good old memories, and my wife got Cafe de Hoya. Everything was delicious and there was no complaints not even from my kids who are really picky and hard to please. I will make this spot as my must go every time I come to San Diego!
We visited this fabulous restaurant after our Rock ‘n’ Roll 5K on a Saturday, and it did not disappoint. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere brought the authentic old-school Mexican culture. The Verde Chilaquiles were tasty and crispy. I tried the carne asada, which wasn’t what I expected. I hoped for a more flavored and marinated steak. I could probably do without it. The flan was out of this world - dense, and the cajeta - all truly finger-licking.
The Chilaquiles were amazing and the meat was seasoned amazingly! The restaurant was set up to allow you to see samples of each of the available meals and when the food came out it was even better all the food was great but the Chilaquilles were especially good definitely recommend this place for breakfast, brunch, and lunch!
I love coming to this place for lunch! We parked across the road at a parking lot for $10 for 2 hours, wasn't the best but we weren't able to get street parking. We stood in line for a table for a couple minutes before being seated inside with social distance from other tables. You place your order at the cashier and give your table number. The food came out pretty fast and the waitress brought us our drinks, salsa, and extra napkins. The staff was very attentive and kind. I think in the past couple of months service here has improved. Before we couldn't get through on the phone to place an order but I think they have more staff again so things are flowing smoother now. Overall the food was great, their chilaquiles are the best in town by a long shot. Def check them out!
Wow just wow, amazing food and fantastic service, I'm so glad I found this place I would definitely recommend

This place has amazing food and drinks. We were looking for traditional, mom and pops Mexican food and this was spot on. Would visit again in a heartbeat. It's a must go to while in San Diego.
Everytime I ask for square cut & i always get triangle. Not only that but they always make uneven cuts
Great staff. Very friendly and helpful. Sometimes they go a bit light on the cheese and toppings, could have a bit more attention to detail it would go a long way.
Edited on 11/06/25: I went in person and omg yassssss best chilaquiles in town and awesome Service as well. Avoid delivery though because the 30 minutes it sits in the container gets them soggy even if you get the “deconstructed”..idk if maybe they didn’t follow this request but just go in person. Pro tip, make a reservation online to avoid long wait. I really want to like this place since they are known for the “best chilaquiles in town”. Overall I wasn’t too impressed. My chilaquiles were soggy, apparently because I got them “constructed” but since I ordered delivery it really was not, they were simply placed in a to go container. It seems silly to charge extra for “deconstructed” version to maintain the crispyness, it should just be common sense to use best judgement when it comes to that. I was confused in regards to why the beans were so watery, am I suppose to drink them? Also they were nasty and tasted like they came from a can, I threw them away. I was initially mostly pleased with the $6 freshly squeezed orange juice but was expecting something extra since they advertise it comes in an “adult cup”. I later found something floating around in there..coulda been mold from not cleaning their squeeze device properly? The flavor of the chilaquiles and carnitas was really good. I have yet yet to experience the “best chilaquiles in town”. Soggy is not it.
The food here is always delicious. It's always fresh and full of flavor. I recommend getting the Tochomorocho instead of a full order of Chilaquiles. The Tochomorocho has a smaller portion of chila…

Looks nice and clean, service was good too. Unfortunately one of my two pizzas was really burnt... And they didn't even mention it. Sadly I only noticed once home and it was a 15 min walk so I just ate from my partners pizza...
I ordered a medium pizza with buff wings. The pizza was good but the buff wings I paid $13 for were disgusting. Barely any sauce and the wings tasted like they cook them in the microwave. I literally threw them in the trash. And why are there no prices on your menus? Won't be back $30 for medium pizza and wings.
Let me preface this review by saying that I never order chilquiles from any restaurant. It is a dish that has always been made at home, so I'm used to it being a certain way. Mainly, very spicy and more on the mushy side. The atmosphere is pretty all over the place. Nice clean place. Was very busy. At times they play music very loud, then turn it way down you could barely hear it, then blast it again. The service was also a lil weird. Everybody was very nice. Our server was good but after we ordered we saw her maybe twice after that. Didn't get my water refilled till the end of the meal. Food didn't come out all at once. Different people brought out different dishes so there was a little confusion there. Starter came out last as we were finishing our main. As far as the food, wasn't for me. The pancake was good. The burrito de machaca was probably the most flavorful dish I had. The chilquiles were underwhelming. Not much flavor. And the beans are very watery. By no means was the food bad. It's good Mexican food for the masses. Also a bit on the pricey side. Like I always say, please try it for your self. It was packed for a reason, a lot of people like it. Just wasn't for me. I'd go back to try the torta ahogada tho.
Not gunna lie the style of restaurant just isn’t for me. They don’t have menus and I couldn’t remember what I wanted and the way it was formatted was confusing. I hate saying it but very white washed Mexican food. It gets very busy, there will be a wait. The food is OK but I wouldn’t go again.
Favorite chilaquiles ever. Used to be an amazing restaurant, but the prices have become outrageous and the portions get smaller every time I go. Food is great but not worth the price anymore sadl…
Poor customer service. If they mess up they’ll laugh with each other about how ridiculous it is to compensate guests for their mistake. You’ll have to wait even longer to get the right order. Why is the delivery driver nicer and wanted to make things right when the woman at the counter is so rude?? There are too many Dominos that are better to deal with rude women.
We walked passed this place on a Thursday at 8 am it was completely empty and we decided to go in the next day after. We are from Texas and we're visiting a few days and didn't want to eat hotel breakfast. The Friday we went in it was pretty busy but were sat fairly quickly. Mind you just myself and my husband, we waited about 10 minutes for someone to come over, while another family of 5 got sat and within 30 seconds someone was there to take their order. Our server was walking passed us and stopped in her tracks and was quick to ask if we were ready. We made our order and it was out within 7 minutes before our drinks came out. We both got "hot" lattes but they were warm at best. The food was good, again not hot but the flavor was there. Our server never came back after dropping off our food, we had to get another server to grab our check after waiting another 15 minutes after we were done eating. We're not the type not to tip well, but this was a $65 check for 2 people for breakfast, so no she did not even get a 10% tip. We decided to give it a go again the Sunday we were leaving. It's about 8 am, empty, like 2 families of 2 or 3 people there, she asks if we are walk-in or reservation. I was confused because there was literally no line and a bunch of tables. We were sat, the server comes over, we both got the caffe de olla, again warm at best. The food again out within 5-7 minutes, flavors seem to be there but it definitely feels like they rush the food and the service. Server came back a few times to check on us, waited about 5 minutes after we were done to get our check. I asked her for our check and she comes over and asks "has anyone given you you're check?" I was again confused since she was our server and had her little handy dandy machine on her, like was someone else supposed to give it us. Service absolutely needs to be improved and maybe take a look at turning up the heat on the food and coffee because everything is warm/lukewarm.
Pizza came shaken up and apart, wrong toppings no the correct sauce. They said they will deliver it again and stopped answering the phone. After an hour trying to get a hold of someone , someone picks up with an attitude, ask for an address & Places me on hold . Still hasnt comeback to the phone.
Delivery was over an hour after ordering (was supposed to be 21 mins. They are a couple blocks away). App wasn't updating. Called and was given the "5-10mins" excuse. Food came Luke warm and a mess. 👎👎
I ordered cinnamon bread twists and they sent me this (bread with butter and Parmesan cheese, zero cinnamon)
I am disappointed with this pizza tonight. overcooked and sloppy :( But the kids are hungry, so I won't make them wait any longer. However, we should have taken it back. *We started eating before photos were taken.
Greasiest food ive ever seen and their manager just hangs up the phone when I try to complain. Going straight to customer service with this. Edit different time ordering February 6th 2026 for this order. They sent my cookie brownie so ridiculously burnt its almost completely black and is rick hard. Why would they still send this out its actually inedible because its so burnt
If i could give this place 0 stars , I would. I ordered my pizza at 10pm and the delivery driver didn’t even deliver it because he supposedly didn’t have access to GPS and said he didn’t know why they let him do deliveries tonight because his phone was supposedly disconnected. The Delivery drivers name is David and he had a girl in the car yelling at him when I called him & asked where my food was at 1AM. Mind you, I ordered it at 10pm. I came to the location and the guy at the front wearing glasses was so rude & said david was 5 mins away from my airbnb. I go back to my airbnb & the food still wasn’t there. I called david and he said he was on my street and didn’t see me. That was an absolute lie because I was outside waiting for him and he was 2 streets over. He was acting dumb like he didn’t know what I was talking about. They are scammers & take your money without providing you with the food you paid for. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
Terrible customer service. Ignorant employees who hang up the phone when customers have an issue when the app says the pizza is delivered. Lies. When the pizza was finally delivered an hour after the app said Carlos delivers it it was cold and all dried out. Save your money and go elsewhere. Absolute garbage employees and garbage pizza.
The store was really bad service from the beginning. I ordered the food with my correct phone number, because I was able to order food off of there using the same phone number. Then I called the store. They put me on hold three separate times for about four minutes. A lady answered the phone gives me attitude, then hangs up. Then the driver does the same. I don’t recommend.
I have been eating at Domino’s for as long as I can remember, and this is by far the worst Domino’s Pizza I have ever had. It had no flavor and we even tried to distinguish if it tasted like cardboard it was very odd and the pizza was just not good. This is the first time I’ve ever gotten a Domino’s Pizza. That has been so bad they forgot one of the toppings that was supposed to be on half which was a sauce when we brought it up to fix it they put it on the whole thing so the rest of the people who are supposed to enjoy it could not eat their half of the pizza because they did not like that sauce, which is why it was only supposed to be on half. They did make it in a timely manner and they were nice enough, but I would never recommend this Domino’s.
Worst dominos I’ve been to, the one guy that was working was extremely rude. I asked for red pepper seasoning, and he responded in such a condescending manner about it being a chargeable item like I had asked for a free meal. Not going to return. Hire better staff!!
