Was here at 10:15am on New Year’s Day 2026. Kenya was working and was extremely attentive to us. We are from OC and this was our first visit. She talked us through their specialties, coffee options and food. She was sweet and all her recommendations were on point. We love this place and will be coming back every time we’re in SD!
Absolutely loved this place! ☕ The coffee is rich and flavorful, and the sandwiches are delicious fresh ingredients and perfectly toasted bread. The atmosphere is cozy and ideal for working or just relaxing with good music and friendly staff. Definitely one of the best coffee spots in downtown San Diego!
The breakfast sandwich was probably the best I’ve ever had. Just unreal. The pastries sell out super fast, so plan to arrive early if you’re going to indulge. Ice coffee was great, too. Plenty of indoor seating and the outdoor patio was so cute!
I came here because I wanted somewhere to sit and enjoy a coffee and a pastry. This place provides many options Amber, the barista, was wonderful and had no issue answering my myriad of questions. There is a decent amount of seating options inside and outside. The music is at a decent level and not overpowering, great background. They have loads of food options and make all their pastries in house! I got a cream cheese turkey jalapeno croissant, it was awesome. I got my standard Mocha, and they nailed it. Perfectly put together and one of the best I've had. The larger the size means more milk, so I'd you want a weaker espresso flavor just go bigger.
Coffee and food was tasty. The barista was nice and welcoming. The location was not ideal.
I intentionally went there to try the horchata latte (hot). I was NOT disappointed, it was delicious. I will be returning for sure. They have a cute little outdoor spot to drink your coffee and scroll through your phone to unwind for a moment. They have an indoor seating area too. I tend to prefer outdoors. They also had a self serve kiosk although in didn’t try it. There was no line when I went in. I definitely recommend this place over the big chain coffee places. It was very clean too. There to go coffee cups were great. I love the plastic spout lid. Posting pics (Please don’t mind my little doggie giving me the side eye, she was judging my picture taking skills.)
We are visiting out of town and decided to walk to Starbucks and looked across the street and seen this place decided to come here instead. This place is amazing!!! Coffee is delicious!!! Pastries and omelet was delicious!!! Nutella croissant I ate in 5 minutes.
Wonderful place to have a morning visit. The coffee was excellent, there are varietals for sale from around the world snd it’s clear they care about the coffee. My cappuccino was very close to perfect. Breakfast itself was amazing. I had the salmon toast which had a generous portion of avocado and salmon and fueled me all morning. Wonderful.
Absolutely amazing customer service. They welcome you with a beautiful smile. Most coffee shops downtown don't offer a large indoor seating area, so I decided to check this place out. Plus I wanted to experience a personalized cafe, not the traditional starbucks. This cafe was very comfortable, spacious and their service was outstanding. Free wifi, beautiful area to chill, delicious cup of latte and excellent service, you can't beat that. They have free filtered water!
I live for pastries and my bf lives for coffee. We constantly go to in searching of new Coffee spots when we travel and we absolutely loved this place. The gentleman who seemed to be the owner, was so welcoming. He helped my bf pick out a pound of coffee, which is roasted in house btw. I on the other hand got my hands on all these pastries for myself. I like to apologize for not showing you the ham and cheese croissant, I scarfed it down on our way out. It was all delicious. We also got a dirty chai and americano, all great. And when we got home we had a fresh cup of coffee to enjoy the much needed rain. Thank you to both guys for making our SD visit delicious.
Enjoyed an afternoon iced coffee from this small shop! The individual working there was very friendly and got our drinks to us quickly. I also enjoyed that they showed where they got their beans from. Cool place to check out!
Was very excited when I found out about this coffee shop as it was really needed in this neighborhood. Amazing workers, very kind and friendly! Great food, legit croissants 😉 and always playing good music. Open till 5pm , wish they were open later but it's all good )
Yum! The Aloha latte is simply delicious - with coconut, macadamia, and milk, how can you go wrong?! I don't recall the name of my food, but it was toast with Nutella, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and honey. Also excellent! My daughter got the same thing, and my wife got a granola and fruit parfait. My son got the chocolate croissant, and also loved it. Good service, great food, a nice location, and fair pricing. Highly recommended!

Great music, great open layout of the cafe! I had the Aloha Latte and it was great. My daughter and I will make it point to walk here everyday from the Grand Hyatt. The staff was incredibly kind and pleasant to interact with. Highly recommended. Tomorrow we’re trying their waffles, can’t wait!

You haven’t lived until you’ve tried their pistachio honey latte (whole cow’s milk edition if you can tolerate lactose…) and literally any of their food items. WOW! Forget the other tiny, crowded spots and walk the extra few blocks to get to this one! Even the interior with high ceilings and breezy open concept and the secluded patio support the super high vibes of this spot. Staff is always friendly and fun without being annoying. Major plus: open on Saturdays!!!
It is a lovely coffee shop with delicious coffee and a quiet atmosphere, perfect for meditation or reading.
We stopped in after a long walk around the area and each got a drink and what we thought would be a small breakfast. My husband's English muffin was huge and my bagel was delicious and filling! My iced white mocha was a little sweeter than expected, but had so much more flavor!
This is a tough one. My coffee was 5 stars all the way in terms of flavor, but it was only “warm” by the time I got to my car and had it half consumed it was not even warm. But again, the taste was great. Also, a large is only 16oz and it’s over $6 out the door. Seemed a little steep. But again it was really good. This place had the feel that it was new, or up and coming and for that reason I like to support them. “Cute” places to sit outside and a couple tables inside if that’s more your thing.
Friendly service, relaxing environment- especially outside! They have sugar free vanilla, caramel and hazelnut. They sadly didn’t have decaf espresso (I always get half-caf to keep my caffeine intake lower) so I got drip coffee & asked for 1/3 hot water.

The server is really accommodating and helpful The food was okay, the portions are big but the avocado toast was messy, fell apart and the cheese was not the right selection to go with toast and eggs Try espresso with cold foam here it’s lit
Perhaps some of the worst bagel work I’ve ever seen. This is my 5th time getting the sloppiest bagel I’ve gotten in my life. Sometimes they make them neatly, they’re just so inconsistent! Instructions completely ignored.
Didn’t get chance to see due to employee This lady came over and asked me to purchase something that was their policy that we can’t just sit in the coffee shop and take up their space and I told her I was gonna order something.i was on the app trying to but She sent her manager back over to say the same thing and said I’ve been sitting there 15 minutes. I was on your app trying to figure out how to order on the app. They wanted me to subscribe and do everything else but order so yes it did. Take me about 15 minutes. She did take me to another level of upset that that would even happen. Then tried to escort me out and block the door in picture you can see she was eating on the job while expiditing orders my guess is again the homeless populations has over took downtown and 5 th so she strep typed me and thought she was being polluted can’t say it’s a race thing because she was sane race as me lol I will never go back here ever again and I hope she will learn a lesson from this or you will continue to lose patrons like myself it’s a shame unhappy experience
