Mario helped me... My experiences with him are always warm.He spoke to me as if he knew me rather than someone he's just throwing selling food to... Real hospitality and kindness. I lost the receipt from the first visit and I was so disappointed in myself because I really wanted to pay him a compliment. GOD blessed me to see him again when I came back to the restaurant and here I am. To be honest everyone at the restaurant just appear to be very kind wholesome people.

The main fry cook, Carlos i believe is his name, was highly efficient, very pleasant, and courteous. Our wait time after paying for our food was very short. The cashier was also kind and courteous.

Yes! Old school hot dogs eaten outside near the curb the way it should be. Friendly and fast service with hot tasty food, it is a classic experience. Super clean as well, I will be back soon watch out Chicago Dog!

Third time having lunch here in the last few weeks. Very impressed with the $7.99 chili cheese deal. Cheaper than a plain burger, plain fries and a plain mustard dog. You can order with no chili and still save money. It’s the Wienerschnitzel version of a $1.50 Costco hot dog. Service was great. Chili is a little salty for my preference but has a pleasant taste, hence the no chili suggestion. Dining is an open patio on a busy street with shade. Nothing they can do about it but still 3-star.

Overall a good fast food place for hotdogs. The area is a bit hard to get into while driving so be mindful of that.

The staff was nice, the chili cheese dogs and fries were hot and fresh. The only that sucked was the Diet Coke. It didn’t taste good at all. But that only took away 1 star.

There's not as many left in San Diego but glad there was one here near where I live and just moved. Its on a busy street and parking is a little tight. No dine in like the one in Chula Vista. They were very skimpy on the chili. Didn't really taste it on the hot dogs and fries like I have from other locations. But service was good and quick.

Friendly service, fast, and efficient. Got a corn dog. It was hot, juicy, and tasty. Update: Got a chili dog. It was tasty. However there was very little chili on it, and the chili was a bit watery. Update: Got a corn dog and a chili dog. Both were very good. Update: Got a Polish sandwich and a corn dog. Both were very good. Update: Got a corn dog and a meatball sandwich. The meatball sandwich exceeded expectations, juicy and very tasty. Update: Hot a corn dog. It was very good.

(edit on 10/9/2025) This store's owner was changed so here was changed. Burrito I like was gone. New Burrito is thinner and more expensive than before. I'm so sad.

This place is a joke. 4 workers inside the store. No one would work the drive through speaker and the prices on the sign at the drive through are not the same they try to charge you at the window. $12 for 2 small corn dogs soggy fry and a fanta. Will never be back.
