Opinions de Fairweather Rooftop Bar San Diego
Fun festive rooftop (2nd floor) cocktail bar/restaurant with amazing views of Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres. I’d say more known for their “vacation” drinks more than the food, Fairweather is a hidden gem tucked around the corner of J st. and the ballpark above Rareform. Can usually get a good seat to view the action!
Everything about this place is fantastic, walking the mysterious hallways to get upstairs, the staff, the atmosphere during a game. Yes during a game it's super expensive, but worth the atmosphere. We are coming back again when there isn't a game and it's great value. Again, the staff was amazing loved the octopus tacos! Thank you!
It's a hidden spot that's nestled deep into the abyss that is Petco Park! I don't expect amazing food since it is a cocktail bar first, but I really enjoyed the atmosphere that overlooks Petco and the concert venue/watch party in the distance. Pre-game, during the game if you don't have a ticket, or post-game a hole in the wall shot you should check out before you leave SD.
Wow! You can’t beat a place with this type of location to the stadium! The seats, service and atmosphere were so good! We definitely look forward to coming back
Surf'n Turf Burrito is excellent (and huge). Husband and wife are the chefs and owners! Great ambiance
Bar service was amazing the staff was Amazing!! The view was lovely. We were there for an event and the food options were very tasty and included ceviche, and beef, brisket, chicken tacos.
A quaint, hidden roof bar with good drinks and ballpark style food. Fairweather offers all the cocktails you'll need and the view is quite nice. Recommended for large or small groups and anyone looking for a chill spot to relax. 👍🏾

Went here on a whim. Just wandering around, and saw a tiny sign that led down an alley, and it was amazing! Great crowd, great service, and great drinks. Paid $18 (not including tip) for a Cadillac margarita, and no joke, continued to do so without hesitation. They were perfect. There was a concert next door, so there was a $10 cover. So we got a perfect view of the concert for 10 bucks. We were so happy that night. Thanks Rocco and Fairweather! Keep up the good work.
Rachel and her crew at the bar were amazing! Busy game day but they kept it up
Excellent bar service from the staff. The view is priceless. Perfect for pregame drinks and eats. Food such as ceviche and tacos are delicious. Definitely worth the visit when in the area. Remember to tip well.
Beer was a bit expensive but due to location was great. Service was great. Great place to watch game or post game fireworks

Great roof top in the heart of downtown San Diego! Our team of Realtors had a great time at this place. The view is very cool and so close that it feels like you are inside of Petco park. The bartender was super sweet and patient with our large group. The Mexican food was great as well! Thank you for an amazing experience.
Awesome little restaurant and bar tucked away by the baseball stadium. It's definitely frequented by fans but can be enjoyed by anyone downtown. Went in late, and bartender was super nice. Food was fantastic! Cool decor.
Hipster bar with a nice view of Padres Stadium. You can sort of see the field from the patio seating. The Cubano sandwich was smaller than expected but tasty.

Very close to ballpark, nice for a private party not exceeding 25 if shared with another party. Pity there are no mocktails on the menu. Food was nice
Drinks are ok. The system for ordering drinks is very inefficient. The fish and chips we ordered was clearly done using old oil and tasted burnt.
We stopped for one beer after the padres and was handed this bill and was absolutely shocked… when I asked about it she said yeah that’s for the 20 Oz beers … looked at the cup and said doesn’t seem right but whatever and didn’t make a big deal about it - my curiosity said they were wrong so I took it home to measure - clearly not 20 Oz after measurements. Two stars because at least the beer I had was decent. But 13.50$ for a 16-17oz beer is highway robbery. Literally will not be going again.

Pretty nice location but it was so gross on my latest visit. The tables were so dirty, I used a few napkins and then my own personal wet wipes to wipe loads of dirt off of the table before we could use it. Even the menus were nasty- sticky and dirty. Huge roaches were running around underfoot startling even the poor food runners. The food and service was mediocre but clearly they were understaffed for the demand... Overall an unfortunate visit.
Atmosphere is great… but prices continue to increase here. $11 each for a 12 ounce can of Pacifco… that’s more than the ballpark prices for the size. Cool spot but $50 for 4 beers ain’t it plus the $6 for tip (to hand us a can, no offense just saying), not sure how people go out anymore. Can get two tickets to the game for cheaper. Yikes.
I'm giving it 1 star because I cannot give zero stars. We were hoping for a quick drink and casual atmosphere. This seemed like a good place. Rooftop overlooking Petco Park? Sounds like a great idea! NOT! There was only 1 girl bartender tonight however I've seen bartenders with more people be more attemptive. We were standing at the bar for about 15 minutes, just standing there. It started feeling like we were being ignored. My husband the only dark tall Mexican there was COMPLETELY ignored by the girl in the picture. A bridal party arrived and they stood right next to us and homegirl went straight to them and greeted them. So we were not in a bad spot, she obviously acknowledged the newcommers, but ignored us. We felt out of place. We were ignored. Thats why locals are not going downtown anymore. Save your money and headaches and go to Little Italy. Pay more and get better service.

This place is all smoke and mirrors. Bartenders are great. But you'll get a $19 cocktail in a plastic cup with no frills. This place used to be a cool little like tiki type drink spot. Now it's a dump. Drinks are just mediocre, sub bar cheap ingredients. Don't bother buying food. It's VERY LIMITED and it's just nasty and cheap, but you'll pay $$$$. View is great! However, taking an elevator to the bathroom and over priced nasty drinks do not make up for it. The Bartenders are very attentive. It's not their fault by any means. You can tell, it's the owner. The rent is outrageous and they're cutting corners anyway they can and keeping costs low while sacrificing quality. Not a good look. Please. Someone, take over this place. Consortium Holdings? Rescue😅
Be aware of irresponsible, drunk, abusive, racist individuals in the area. I was assaulted right outside of this bar a few weeks ago while in town for a conference. A man in a green shirt and black pants with shoulder length hair approached me, acted like he knew me, and when I didn't respond, became aggressive. He started pushing and shoving me. He was obviously drunk. He shoved me several times. Then I called out for help, and stadium security saw what was going on, but took no action. He also shouted racial insults at me because I'm "Indian", made derogatory remarks about "Indians", and on and on. The area around the stadium is a sketchy area, and there seem to be a bunch of people like this who hang out there.
